Azumanga Daioh poll - who's your favorite Character???

Anybody a fan of Azumanga Daioh (in japanese, but with english subs?)? Also, who's your favorite character?

I only watch the dub and I hate how people bash the Azumanga dub. It drives me crazy!
My favorite character is Osaka. Her accent is awesome too.
I also like Tomo but Ah just lahke Osaka the best cuz she's rayundom (random) and Ah cayun (can) relate to her.
I just had to do the accent! Sorry if it was a payun to read.

That's why I like Tomo... and Osaka. It was either random choice or watch 10 episodes...

Osaka is just hilarious. Her blank expressions always crack me up, and I love how she's so obsessed over Chiyo-Chan's pigtails.

Yeah, it was tough to decide who should I choose. As Cute Inuyasha-kun said, Tomo's expressions make her laugh. (now I'm thinking like Osaka... who wants some Sata Andagi?) Like episode 23, she wasted up all her energy BEFORE the race. At least I heard my favorite song - Chiyo-Chan Runs!
At least I watch it with subs, I think it's nicer that way (like in Episode 1, Yukari-sensei said ****! nine times) and has more swears... Nah, not swears...

I've seen little of the anime version, but I've read the manga and Osaka's funny as. Yukari's a bit random xD but I think Osaka's character is awesome~

The original manga, by Kiyohiko Azuma, only lasts 4 volumes.
Same answer as above, though they could and probably should expand on the series, IMO.
Breasts are often (very) small at that age, and if she did have any, her aura of childlike cuteness would be lost... Though, what about Kasuga? ._.

It's actually a nickname given to her by Kimura-Sensei, not made by any editors to make it sound better (if that's what you meant by "they").
All names mean something... Japanese names appear to simply be words for certain things. My "Hotaru" is "Firefly".

Oke now, the original question, I'd go for Kasuga.
By the way, it's the manga I've read, not the anime I've watched. ;|

In Japan, it was 3 volumes. If you notice, the art style on the cover of Volume 4 is Different. They split it into four instead of three in English because American High Schools have 4 Grades. Japan only has 3.

Hm... By what I learned/memorized it goes 10/11/12... That's mostly 3 grades in High School. Before that you're in middle school and a sochromore for grade 9.

Kaorin is listed as a minor in the cartoon, she appeared about 5 to 10 times, unlike that stupid teacher. I forgot to add Chiriro and Kaorin, sorry.
