A few small questions about pokemon stuff

1. Why is the "Pokedex No. of my Shiny Lugia red?
2. When I try to import my Ludicolo from emerald, it tells me it can't import because of HM. So I go to the Move Deleter in Emerald, and he says it doesn't want to forget the move surf. What's going on?

1. Because it's a shiny pokemon.
2. You should be able to delete any move, even HMs, from that old guy in Lilycove.. It might be a glitch if he won't delete it for you. Is Ludicolo your last pokemon?

Shiny Pokemon on D/P have red numbers. When you try to make your Pokemon forget an HM, make sure you're clicking "A" and not "B".

I am clicking "A". It says "Hm? It appears your Ahriman (Ludicolo) does not want to forget that move."
I should take a picture of it and post it, but I don't have a digital camera.

I don't know, then... It's never happened on my game before...

Is Surf Ludicolo's only move? If it is, it won't let your Pokemon forget it.

There are times where the pokemon just won't forget said HM. It has happened to me a few times when I played Emerald.

I don't know what the deal is, nor have I even found a solution to the problem but...o_o

From what I've heard before, it's apparently because that's your last Pokemon that knows that HM.

Teach Surf to some other HM slave and then try to get rid of it again on Ludicolo.

What Pachirisu said. You can't release get rid of the last HM, so you need to teach Surf to something else. You can't release it either.
