MOTM, stay or go?

What do you think MOTM *Member of the month* should do, stay or go? I think it should go because there recently has been a flame war going on because people have been cheating to win and if it wasn't there, people wouldn't have to deal with these issues and there wouldn't be flame wars.

This thread really isent needed... this will just turn into a possible ''spam'' board, filled with flaming.. You guys discussed most of this in MOTM thread, so why bring it here? I think we should just leave it up to the staff when it comes to things like this, and I wish this discussion would stop. If you would just drop it, there wouldent be this so called ''flame-war'' going on. =/

Really... treat it as if it's a real presidential election vote... and everything would have been fine anyway. And I really won't call that a flame war... if that's a flame war, then those creation vs evolution threads are world wars?

I flipped through the rules over and over again and no such things are mentioned... just that sexual, political and religious topics (debate or not) are completely banned... though these common topics for debates are gone (sadly), that doesnt' mean debates and discussion can no longer exist... >>;

I'm not a fan of motm myself. It's based way too much on favoritism.

I think the whole point of it is favoritism, since we are voting for favorite ________ and all that o_O;;

I say let it stay. Although it really doesn't do anything for me it's a general morale booster for the forums, which, the way I see it, is important here.

The only time I can see the end of MOTM is when we start getting lots of people complaining that they only got 1 vote, or none at all repeatly.. Other Wise I dont see a problem in MOTM. It's not like just because no one voted for you, that your a bad person or something.

I just kind of ignore it if possible. Some categories are worth voting for though, since they seem to draw our unique answers out of most people, which is a nice change. As for if it stays or goes, I guess that depends mostly on if we keep having issues like this month.

I dun really mind the cheating in it, that can be ignored. But I say let it stay, its just a little fun. What's the harm in it? =/ Peeps that cry like lil babies cus they didn't win is just annoying, I mean, its just a game. Why cheat on it? Those peeps should get a life and realize winning isn't everything. =/ Gawd, now I feel nasty.. ><;;
