Probability of Croagunk holding black sludge?

Does anyone know the probability of a Croagunk holding black sludge? Croagunk is a HUGE pain to catch, it just took me a whole hour to catch my first one. I'm totally going to go insane is the possibility of it holding black sludge is 1/100 or something absurd like that.

According to the stickied FAQ the only way to obtain black sludge is for a wild Croagunk/Toxicroak to hold it. Let me know if there's an easier way.

Croagunk have a 5% chance of holding Black Sludge.. And they alone are hard to get. Good luck doing that and the easier way would be asking in the trading forums if you have wifi. ^^

You don't have to catch it you know. Just use a Pokemon who knows Thief, Covet or Trick. Be careful when using Trick though since you may get rid of an item you want to keep.

try using a Pokemon with Compuond Eyes as you lead Pokemon!

I think 20% more. Either way, that's how I got the Black Sludge.
