Black Sludge is a hold item which makes a Pokemon's HP recover in battle, similar to Leftovers except only for Poison type Pokemon and will deal damage to other types.
It can be found on wild Croagunk and Toxicroak.

I seems to me that it restores very little more health than leftovers
