Fav. season

What is your fav. season of pokemon? mine was johnto. What is yours?

I loved the original Kanto episodes they were great, Hoenn was good because the animation was good and it was nice to see new pokemon in good animation and enw things like contests were introduced. I also really like Chronicals and Master Quest because Misty had a higher role in those.

My least was Jhoto, with all those fillers >_>

The fillers were episodes where nothing important to the main plot happens. So Nobody catches a pokemon or defeats a gym.

My favorite season was the Hoenn and Kanto one's, I never really liked the Johto region and Sinnoh isn't as good as the old ones.

Yeah, but Jhoto went overboard with them causing the episodes to become boring.

Back To Topic, I like the Episodes in Frontier and Sinnoh but the vocie actors ruin it for me.

My favorite version of the theme song was Johto but my favorite episodes are Master Quest.

I liked jonto's theme music too. Btw bout the Fillers in the jonto series, i think they did that cuzit was Nintendo's first new pokemon season. Bak to topic, i didnt like frontier at all.

Kanto is my favourite season. I also like Johto because I like the themes.
Maybe Sinnoh would be nice too if they didn't change the voices >_>

Kanto is the original, the one that started it all and thats why I like it. So far I like Sinnoh the best.

I tried watching Johto League Champions on YouTube. I really did. But...I couldn't make it...there are good episodes but...fillers...*shudder* I skipped onto the gym battles but for some reason, the Chuck one especially, just didn't hold my interest

I have the whole Jonto seires recorded on DVD. I watched some earlier. ur rite, there are A LOT of fillers. Way to many.

My favorites are the Advanced seasons. (Pokemon Advanced/Challenge/Battle, Battle Frontier)
There are so many things I love about the Advanced season that I couldn't list them all without filling up the page.
(But I'll try to list some anyway)

~The season's during the third generation of Pokemon. (my favorite gen)
~Most of it takes place in the Hoenn region.
~The art style of the entire series changes. It looks smoother and better. (Like the new style of Sugimori art for R/S)
~The opening songs are awesome. (Advance Adventure/I wanna be a hero)
~I like Ash's new, advanced clothes.
~I like a lot of the episodes. (even if the majority are fillers)
~A lot of Ash's Hoenn Pokemon have very distinct personallities.
(I know that his older Pokemon had different attitudes as well, but it seems to stick out more here. Possibly because of natures in R/S?)
~The season started a lot of contreversy about Misty. New PokeShippings also spawned with the apperance of May.
~The series makes a big change with Ash leaving all but one of his old Pokemon behind, and joining up with new characters.
~Ash gets his Treecko. Enough said.

I don't like the BF season as much as the Hoenn seasons (only a little), but it's part of the Advanced series anyway.
(A majority of my favorite episodes come from the BF season, actually)

I love the 1st season because of nostalgia and "island of the giant pokemon" (I still love that scene where the pokemon get drunk).

But my Complete favorite is the Advance generation and Battle Frontier. I'm going to second Eternal Smasher's comment on the Treecko and put my foot down. :D

I think Master Quest had really great artists working on it most of the time. I really enjoy the drawings in that season.
Season 1 is also very nice because the creators were able to surprise the viewers way more often than now. The whole show had to develop back then and the characters were far more interesting. I really like the whole Ash - Misty interaction. Not the relationship thingie but their first time together, when she really gave him a hard time. Her sarcastic comments are priceless =)
