Oh. This one. I kinda found it strange that Bayleef beat an arcanine that is suppose to be faster. Still nothing really does make sense and goes according to the games I guess in the anime. Teeheehee

Gary and Ash both cheat. Gary ran. And Ash's taken Team Rocket's balloon (I'm sure). Gary trained for months on an Arcanine but Ash trains for about an hour and wins with a Bayleef? What???

Yeppie. That tends to happen a lot with Ash. Still I just remember that Gary was in it!!! *hugs* GARY!!!!

I guess it was foreshadowing to their battle royale, since the majority of their clashes were either stalemates or Gary getting the upper hand.

Either way, Bayleef v. Arcanine didn't make much sense to me, like you two said.

Still, was worth it when the Rockets crashed, and Wobbuffet found the basket.
