Yep, the YGO gang is having problems yet again! You join as a YGO character, but if you really don't want to you can make up your own. If you join as a YGO character, you can't get Ooc, so your required to post an example of your RPing. Except Marik4Me, I've seen her writings. You also must agree to the following things:
Marik is GOOD. His Yami is GONE. (for now)
Bakura and his Yami don't agree on everything, but they care about each other.

OOC: Okay, well, I think that if we're going to start, we should do it without waiting for anymore members. XD And by the way, guys, it's Mai, not Mia. ^__~ Mia is a different name and is pronounced "MEE-ah." Mai's name rhymes with "Kai," like Kaiba. ^^

BIC: It's a cloudy, rainy day in Domino City. Marik Ishtar is riding his motorcycle through the downtown area. Everything seems peaceful enough, but as he's about to find out, it won't be for long.

Ooc: Alright, my turn to post!! **Pulls out pen and paper** "It was a lonely winter night, when...Deoxys!! How many time have I told you?! NO ATTACKING RAYQUAZA!!!! Ugh..." *Scrunches up paper and throws it away** Now.. to really write something..
Oh, BTW, I'm changing my character from Lupinia Lapis to Gale Ryo.

IC: Gale was sitting at the window bed looking out into the dark. Aside from seeing a motorcycle fly past, nothing had happened all that day. Sighing, she arose from the bed, walking to her own. Sitting there, she looked through her draft deck, picking the cards to put in her real deck..

OOC: Oh wow..how exciting. XD My post will get better. (hopefully)

The rain abruptly starts to fall and becomes increasingly worse. Before long Marik decides he should turn back and head for home. As he comes back the other way, passing the house where Gale is, his bike's wheels slip on the wet street and he and his motorcycle both go flying up onto Gale's front lawn.

Seeing the motorcycle crash, Gale dropped her deck and ran for the door. She took out her jacket from the closet and her sunglasses from the table, before rushing out. "Oh, are you okay?", she asked.
Before he could get up, she quickly puled on her sunglasses, to hide her eyes..

[Marik4me]

Marik is laying dazed on the grass, his motorcycle partially on top of him. "I think I am," he says finally, trying to move it off. He growls in irritation when it stays firmly planted the way it is. This is exactly the sort of thing his siblings always worry will happen to him, though in more extreme ways. I'm lucky that this was just someone's yard and not a busy highway, he thinks to himself.

"That's good."
Noticing the motorcycle on top of him, she tried to help push it off, but with no achivment.
"Well...maybe we should get help. Do you know anyone who could?"

OOC: I love your banner! So sad! ;__; Where did you get it?

BIC: Marik winces, trying again. "My brother . . . he's strong. But I didn't want him to know I had an accident. He worries about me a lot." He smiles a bit. "As brothers do." Finally he manages to crawl out from under the motorcycle and then get it righted. But as he stands he finds that he's quite light-headed. He sways, feeling the dizziness start to overwhelm him.

OOC: Wow, we started and I didnt even notice! XD

IC: "I dont know Joey, I'm not sure those cards will make a good combo!" Yugi said to Joey inside his Grampa's shop.
"Ya really think so Yug? Well, I'll take your word for it then." replied Joey, acting like he knew what he was doing.

"What is it Yami?" Yugi asked the spirit within his Millenium Puzzle. "Is something troubling you?"
"Yes, I feel like something terrible is going to happen soon...." Yami replied.

Lightning flashes and there's a rough knock at the door of the Game Shop.

"Hmmm, who could that be?" Yugi said, "I'm not expecting anyone, and the store is closed today!"
"Its probably a salesman," replied Joey, "they always come to my door"
Yugi opened the door.

OOC: I made the banner. (Did a bad job cutting out the pics..can't really tell on the background though. XD) The quotes are from one of my favorite Native American songs, "It Is a Good Day to Die".

IC: "You have a brother?", she asked. Then she saw him swaying, "Are you sure you're all right?"

Rishid is standing in the door when Yugi opens it, looking stern and silent as usual, the dark hood pulled up over his head. "Have you seen my brother?" he asks.

Marik reaches up, unstrapping the helmet and rubbing at his forehead. "I'm fine," he replies, but he feels himself starting to descend to the ground without being able to control it. I must have hit my head harder than I thought, he decides in frustration.

Gale continued to stare at him with concern but finally decided to ask something that had been troubling her forever.
"Um..if...you're alright..could I ask..would you..would you tell me, if...what this thing is..oh, what was it called? The 'Shadow Realm' or something...I heard some people talking about it earlier. Would you have any clue to what it is?", she finished. She knew *what* it was, but she wanted to see..if he did.

[Marik4me]

Marik stares at her blankly as he falls into the grass. I'm passing out and she wants to know what the Shadow Realm is?! he thinks in disbelief. He mutters something unintelligible in the Arabic language as he collapses.

[Soma Peries]

"No," Yugi said to Rishid, "Why? Has he gone missing?"
Yugi picked up his deck and motioned at Joey to come to the door.

"Heh, whats goin on?" asked Joey.

She hit herself in the head verd hard. How could she be so stupid!? This guy was in obivion, and she was worried about..she stopped thinking. She knew what she was worried about. She knew why all that had happened had happened. But..why, what, did the Shadows have to do with it? She carefully knelt down onto the grass next to him, taking off her Jacket and wrapping it around him. He was much older than her, and she had no hopes of carring him to the house. But she would stay with him. Until it stopped raining and she could get help..

[Marik4me]

"Marik went out riding his motorcycle and he hasn't come home yet," Rishid replies grimly. "Because of the storm I grew concerned for him."

Marik shudders, burrowing into Gale's jacket. He's carrying the Millennium Rod on his belt.

Yugi got an umbrella from a nearby closet.
"We'll help look for him then," Yugi said.

"We will?" Joey asked Yugi.

She looked around nervously. No one but they were out, and in this weather no one would be able to se her..so she slowly took off her sunglasses and tucked them safely in her pocket. It was then she noticed a glint of metal on the person in front of her's belt. She pulled back the bottom of the jacket to reveal a long, golden rod. She tilted her head in confusion. Was this a weapon? A Dirk? She had been so busy pondering over this that it was a minute before she had relized her hand was extended almost to it. She quickly pulled it back and scolded herself mentaly. It was this, her irrisistible curiousity, that got her it lots of trouble.

[Marik4me]

Rishid frowns at Joey. It's been ages since Battle City now. He had hoped Joey had finally forgiven Marik for the past.

Marik moans softly, regaining consciousness. He looks up at Gale, seeing her drawing her hand away from the Rod. "What is it?" he asks in the ancient Egyptian language before switching to English again and asking the question again.

"Come on Joey, think of it as an adventure." Yugi said to him.
"Ok, fine Yug, but if something bad happens I told ya so!" Joey replied, and they walked outside.

OOC: I thought the Egyptian Language *was* Aribic..O_o

IC: "Oh!", she said in shock she quickly covered her eyes with her sunglasses again and looked over to his face. "Nothing..but...well...what's that..rod thing you have?" she asked, poining to the glittering staff.

[Marik4me]

Rishid sighs and leads the way. "Marik is not what he once was, Joseph," he says quietly.

OOC: Nope. The Egyptian language is what they spoke anciently. Arabic is what they speak now.

BIC: Marik swallows. "This? . . . Oh . . . it's just something I'm the guardian of." He doesn't want to say too much about it. He sits up slowly, blinking, and raises a hand to rub his head. "Ow. . . ."

"Ya, well I still don trust him!" said Joey.

"Calm don Joey. Now where did Marik say he was going?" Yugi asked.

"I really think you ought to come inside. If you can walk, that is.", she offered. "That's a bad gash on your head. You need some medical help." She was usually weary of strangers, but he was hurt, and probably couldn't do her harm in this condition. Her eye still looked over ocasionaly to the rod, but she forced herself to look away, as curiousity chewed at her again..

[Marik4me]

OOC: Ooooh, Joey's behavior is great for setting up a future scene with him and Marik where he finally could learn to trust him. ^^

BIC: "He never knows himself where he is going," Rishid smiles wryly. "When he rides that motorcycle of his, he can wind up anywhere." He sighs inwardly, wishing that Joey and Marik could get along.

Marik brings his hand away from his forehead, seeing the blood. "No, it's really not that bad," he protests, getting to his feet. "But thank you for the offer of going inside. That sounds pleasant right now." He limps a bit. "You're kind to a stranger," he observes.

OOC:you read my mind!

BIC:"Hey Yami, can you pick up Marik's energy signal or anything from his Millenium Rod?" Yugi asked.
"I feel a strange vibe coming from his rod, let me take over Yugi." he replied.
Yugi nodded, and Yami took over the control of his body.
"Follow me, I know where he is..." Yami told them.

[Marik4me]

OOC: Good! This'll get really interesting.

BIC: Rishid perks up, but is concerned at Yami Yugi's report of the strange vibe. "Can you tell if he is alright?" he asks.

[Soma Peries]

"I'm not sure, but something feels out of place somehow, we better get going!" Yami said, starting to pick up in speed.

[Marik4me]

Marik is still limping toward the door when he hears the sound of approaching people. He looks up, blinking. "Rishid?" he calls, thinking he recognizes the dark cloak.

Rishid relaxes immensely when he sees and hears Marik. His brother is alive and hopefully safe.

[Soma Peries]

"So we found Marik, can we go now Yug?" asked Joey.
"Not yet... Marik, have you sensed an dark presences today?" asked Yugi, "I fear something is going to happen."

[Deoxys55]

Gale smiled. "You know them?",she asked. When she heard the word, 'Dark Presences', she backed toward the door slowly. She was glad the rain was heavy, so no one would see her without diffaculty..

[Marik4me]

Marik blinks at Yami Yugi. "Dark presences?" he repeats. "No . . . I don't think I have."

Rishid looks at Marik with concern. "Marik, you're wounded!" he exclaims.

"It's just a scratch, Rishid," he replies.

[Soma Peries]

"Hmm, that's odd... I could've sworn...." Yami mumbled to himself. Joey seemed to have backed away from Marik.

Realizing(sp?) none of them had seen her, yet, she stopped. Looking over to the group of people, she noticed one of them backing off of the one that seemed to be Marik. Was there some connection between them?

[Marik4me]

Marik frowns. "I'm not going to hurt you, Joey," he says.

[Deoxys55]

OOC: **Sigh** I'm going to PM some of the other members abotu the thread starting, because no one seems to have noticed..

Joey ignored Marik and walked outside.
"Joey," Yugi said, and ran after him.

[Marik4me]

Marik sighs and looks away. "He's never really forgiven me," he says to Yugi and Rishid. "I know what I did was atrocious and abominable. I don't blame him for not forgiving me."

Rishid lays a hand on his shoulder. "Perhaps in time he will see that you have changed." He feels badly for his younger brother. He knows that if Joey would give him a chance, he would see that Marik is a good, kind person who is very loyal to those he cares about and who wants to make up for his wrongdoings.

Things are only about to get worse for poor Marik, however. A frantic girl runs up to Joey, nearly knocking him over. "Someone tried to kill me!" she screams hysterically, clutching Joey's clothes. "He had blondish hair and he was wearing a midriff shirt!"

Marik stares over at this, appalled and stunned. He knows he didn't try to kill anyone! But he also realizes Joey will suspect him first.

Gale looked over at the girl with surprise. She had seen her sometimes in town but didn't know her. "Um..do you know her?" She asked Marik.

[Soma Peries]

Joey glared at Marik suspiciously, but realized that she had come from the opposite direction, and Marik had been with them the whole time.
"Show us where he is!" Joey asked the girl, "Are you comin Yug?"
"Yeah!" Yugi nodded then turned to Marik and Rishid, " Are you gonna come?"

[Marik4me]

"I've never seen her before in my life," Marik replies, frowning.

The girl catches sight of him and points an accusatory finger. "That's him, I swear!" she says to Joey. "This happened about thirty minutes ago, on the other side of town. He must have been following me!"

"Stop with your lies!" Marik says angrily.

Rishid is furious. "Marik would not have attacked you," he says coldly.

[Soma Peries]

"Marik!" Joey exclaimed, "Why I autta!"
Joey ran at Marik ready to punch him, but Yugi got in the way.
"What are you doing Joey?" Yugi asked, "If Marik says he didn't do it he didn't do it!"

[Deoxys55]

"He could not have attacked you, he was here half the night.", Gale said, her curiousity turning to suspision(sp? XD). "Now, would you please explain yourself calmly?"

[Marik4me]

Marik gets into a defensive stance when Joey is about to attack, peering around Yugi to look at the other blonde boy. He knows it wasn't quite half the night that he was with Gale, but he does know he was not the attempted murderer.

The girl is shaking still, perhaps from fear or maybe even with a bit of anger now. "I was walking home from my job when this teenager approached me with a knife and demanded all my money. I gave it to him, but he acted like he was going to kill me anyway. So I turned and fled after dazing him with my purse. And now he turns up here again! I know that's him!"

Rishid glares at her. "Marik is not a criminal," he responds. "You must have seen someone who looked like him." If it truly happened at all, he adds to himself, still suspicious of the girl.

[Deoxys55]

"Tch, yeah, and I'm a zombie of a person he killed." Gale said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. " You had to have seen someone that looked simular to this person, or you're lying. If niether of those fit you, I strongly advise a psychiatrist."

[Marik4me]

Now the girl is angry. "It was him!" she says, moving away. "I'll prove somehow it was!" She storms back off the way she came.

Marik is not amused. "Why that little . . ." He trails off, frowning, wondering if she has some sort of vendetta against him.

Rishid moves closer to him, silently willing for him to calm down.

[Deoxys55]

"Well, that was pleasent.", Gale said. Then she calmed down. "Shesh, she acked like you were a villan or something."

[Marik4me]

Marik crosses his arms. "She may have been purposely trying to make it look like I am," he retorts.

[Soma Peries]

"Ya right!" Joey exclaimed, "I thought for a moment that you wouldn't pull somethin like that but i guess i was wrong!"
"Joey, calm down!" Yugi yelled at Joey, "No good will come of this!"

[Marik4me]

"I didn't do it!" Marik cries in frustration, stepping in front of Joey. But though he is frustrated, he knows Joey has very good reasons not to believe him. For all Joey would know, this "repenting" could be another trick, just like "Namu." Even though it isn't.

Gale looked at both of them. "I should remind you, this is my property.", she said timidly.

OOC: Okay, time to get this going again. i was wondering, since only 3 of us are posting, can I make another character?
IC: "Marik! I challenge ya to a duel!" Joey exclaimed, pointing his finger at Marik.
"Joey, there really is no need for this!" cried Yugi, attempting to calm Joey down.

Marik frowns. "And what will a duel prove, Joey?"
