I don't think confused is, but I hate that sooo much thought I'd put it in..

I hate confusion and Attract (Miltank GSC).

With confusion, my Pokemon always attack themselves.

Whitney's Miltank's Attract was also a brutal combo with Milk Drink and Rollout.

I hate getting paralyzed, having to move second or not at all, and usually being stupid enough and not stocking up on full heals, paralyze heals or cheri berries.

Sleeping, THEY CAN'T WAKE UP! ARGH!

Frozen by far though, they never thaw out ether... xD

They are so annoying! x_X

I think that the most annoying is frozen solid, but also sleep is annoying....

I hate getting confuse, so it gets really annoying a lot. lol

You forgot attraction. (if that counts as a condition)

The most annoying conditions are paralyzation,(sp) confusion, and attraction.
Put those two/three together, and you're going to have a very hard time.

Freeze for me, I freeze stuff aLL THE TIME with ice beam and then they thaw out RIGHT AWAY. I mean, talk about getting ym hopes up and then smashing them :(

Then when my pokemon gets frozen, it's like, making a snowman inside that ice block because it doesn't want to come out or something :0

Freeze, as stated earlier, is the worse.
Badly poisoned comes next.
The others I can live with...

It's probably a tie between falling asleep and being confused.

Confusion. If you were to ever take a look in my bag in Pearl, you'll see as much as x50 of confusion healers of anything.

It would be sleeping, paralysis, and confusion for me.

I really, really hate confusion. It could spell the difference between my Pokemon taking out the opponent, or my Pokemon getting knocked out by the combined force of its own confusion and whatever the opponent uses. That's why I don't particularly like moves like Thrash and Petal Dance. The side effects are just too nasty.

Though I haven't seen Attraction happen to my Pokemon that much, I hate it as well. One time, I was battling Whitney's Miltank, and my Weepinbell was Attracted. It must have attempted to Stun Spore that Miltank at least fifteen times. About ten of those fifteen times, its Attraction prevented it from attracting, and its Stun Spore missed twice before hitting. The only reason Weepinbell managed to survive that long was because Miltank was under the effects of three Smokescreen attacks.

Paralysis is right up there on my list of status conditions I hate. And it seems to happen a lot. It doesn't give me as much trouble as confusion, though.

Poisoning isn't that bad, but it seems that every time an opponent uses a move that has the potential to poison (even a 10% chance), my Pokemon always seem to get poisoned. I've had a Pokemon get poisoned in three wild Pokemon battles in a row, by moves that have a 10% chance of poisoning. Maybe it's just my luck.

Freezing is bad. The thing is, I really haven't seen it happen to me that often. Whenever it happens, I don't bother waiting for my Pokemon to defrost - I use a Full Heal on it right away.

Falling asleep and Burning aren't really big problems for me. Burning happens so rarely I don't really care about it, and even when it does happen, it's not a big deal to me. I've gotten quite used to dealing with my Pokemon falling asleep, since Rest is my favourite TM and I've used it a lot.

It's a tie between confusion, paralysis, sleeping, and being poisoned.I voted for confusion since it bothers me the most.

-_-; How is Confusion annoying? You simply switch out, thats it. :/

Freeze, you can't do anything during that time and the status lasts really long.

being confuse and poison at the same time..ouch double damage =(

Frozen. No doubt. Just because its so unusual, that when it happens, I feel like I've been seriously haxxed.

Confused and Fallen Asleep are tied for me, I HATE THEM BOTH, unless of course I am the one using them

Paralysis for me. I hate it when I lose a turn that could like, change the tide of the whole battle.

Confusion for me too.
Probably because my friends love to use it more than any other status ailment.

-_-; How is Confusion annoying? You simply switch out, thats it. :/

Although not all of us share the same basic view on confusion as you do, it just is. Switching out is tied with that "other-Pokémon-taking-the-damage" thing. I really don't like switching out because I like to avoid splitting the Exp. points with other Pokémon. And if you would like to add emphasis on this, practically all status-effected Pokémon can be easily switched out.

I don't really like getting frozen, that doesn't happen too often but it's just annoying.

Infatuation is also annoying. WHY WON'T YOU ATTACK??? :P

Sanctuary
February 4th, 2008, 07:06 AM
All status conditions are annoying. ALL OF THEM.
But the most annoying is probably.. confusion. They tend to attack themselves more than actually strike. Or when they strike, they miss. >:

Attraction is annoying when it happens, but my Pokemon haven't been attracted for a while since I just KO the Pokemon anyway. XD

February 4th, 2008, 08:46 AM
Paralyze, or Frozen, because you cant attack.
I dont find Confused a very big problem, it is possible to attack with a confused Pokemon.
But Fall asleep is very annoying, i hate battles were all my Pokemon fall asleep, it just make the battle .. boring D:
Poisoned and Burned is annoying too, but i dont find it THAT annoying.

I'll vote Paralyze, because it makes your Pokemon slow, and sometimes you cant attack >_<

I hate paralysis. It lowers you pokemon's speed so much, and makes the battle drag on and on. You have to wait for the other pokemon to attack before you can k.o. them.

Freeze - my friend's Electivire has made me hate it with a passion. I swear that thing's Ice Punch has got to have a freeze rate of at least 50%: it froze my Pokémon with its first Ice Punch three battles in a row and if the first one isn't a freeze, the second or third one usually is. His Electivire's freezehaxing skills have won him two battles against me now. =\

I hate poison,
It makes me mad how the HP just goes down, and the screen shakes.
But I would also say confusion, its the maddest status ever, it makes me crazy. I've lost lots of battles that way. But I would say that all the status problems are annoying in their own way

it would have to be confusion. My pokemon always attack themselves and when they do i want to through my game through.

p.s.
has anyone else noticed that when your opponents pokemon are confused that they never attack themseves

Paralysis = Ghey.

Seriously, i had a battle with this guy and his snoralax paralyzed my Skarmory, it was then parahaxed 7 times in a row =/

Freeze is annoying aswell, just cause your pokemon becomes dead weight.

Same with Sleep

Just remember, Aromatherapy and Heal Bell are your friends =)

SerenadeDS
February 5th, 2008, 06:47 PM
All them just suck to begin with. They ARE status effects after all. The most annoying for me is Sleep! GAH, so annoying. You can't do anything while the opponent just pounds on you! T_T

I rarely get Frozen, and for Confusion, that one doesn't really bother me either.

February 5th, 2008, 06:56 PM
For me it's paralysis that bugs me. For one, the latter of those moves are either of the grass type or the electric type, so my precious water type pokemans are vulnerable in that instance. Secondly, I like never get to move at all >.> Thirdly, if I do manage to heal the condition, 60% of the time my opponent will inflict it on me again in the same turn.

So yeah, I dislike paralysis with an extreme passion.

February 6th, 2008, 12:17 AM
Confusion, without a doubt. Paralysis isn't too far behind either.

smile!
February 6th, 2008, 12:20 AM
But in RSE, I don't seem to hate that Confusion, Sleep and Attraction that much..
We have the glass flutes right??
And basically in FRLG even though my Venusaur is Paralyzed/Asleep/Frozen, it still wins.
With Toxic, Leech Seed and Leftovers of course :)

Yeah, it gets annoying when you're training but when you get into competetive play, its pretty simple to just get a switch :/

Paralysed is the only lasting one I find really annoying, sleep's not exactly fun either...
But, I'd go for confused due to its effect...

February 7th, 2008, 12:08 AM
Sleep.

...Can Bellsprout count as a status condition? They certainly suck to battle against. e.e

Frozen. Just when you think you are about to win..

BAM!

They hit you with an Ice Beam and freeze you >_>

Well since its most annoying, definately confusion, but most deadly to me is badly poisoned.

February 7th, 2008, 11:39 AM
Paralyze. I think it's the most annoying, but you forgot curse (when a ghost pokemon used it.)

I think curse cut half to you hp.

GreenStorm
February 7th, 2008, 01:09 PM
Paralysis, confusion, and sleep. It's just, annoying. Seriously, you try to attack and BAM! You either hit yourself or can't attack. Confusion, not that much but it's still annoying. Frozen as well.

Confusion,it annoys me when my pokemon hurt themselves in cofusion.

I usually tend to disregard paralysis, but the most annoying status condition out there is confusion. It's annoying when you want to attack, but then you end up hitting yourself. @_@ At least with paralysis, if you can't attack you stay put...

And I think Burn and Frozen are most uncommon, too.
Still hate that, though, when Will O Wisp hits.

Frozen.

It totally sucks. I never carry anything that heals it because I never think I would get it, but then I do. = (

I don't think many people realizes the Burn drops your attack in half =\

I don't think many people realizes the Burn drops your attack in half =\

Really? How do you know that? I don't...

EDIT : Ah yes..
Each turn, the Pokémon afflicted with the Burn loses 1/8th of it's Max HP
The Pokémon's Physical Attack Stat is cut by Half. This effect does not work on Pokémon with the Guts (http://www.serebii.net/games/ability.shtml#guts) ability

I hate the "Frozen" status with a passion. I remember sending out my Infernape against all ice types so if he ever got frozen, I'd Flame Wheel right outta there.

February 10th, 2008, 10:37 PM
I think frezze isghey you want to know why ... my Articuno when it dinally does freeze somebody the same turn they unfrezze and not once in compietive play have that not been frozen for one whole turn ...

The ones that I hate the most it confuse and asleep condition. they both are annoying.

MUSION
February 11th, 2008, 11:48 AM
Being frozen is the worst because it renders you helpless. It's worse than sleep because not only are there moves that can be used when asleep, but it's the hardest status condition to inflict, so when it happens to you, it's like 'oh what the...!?

Tater Tot
February 11th, 2008, 03:23 PM
Frozen is annoying, in my opinion the most annoying, sleeping is annoying too, but when your sleep your pokemon wakes up soon, when frozen, it takes much longer.
