I dunno, I wanna see who is smart and who isn't. I'm not gonna make fun of you, I promise. I have a 4.0 (but I think my science test brought it down...)

;-; For some reason, at my school, they wont show you your GPA until you're a Junior. So, I don't know what mine is exactly. But I'm a good student with pretty good grades, so I expect it to be around a 3.0.

Umm we dont even have those at our school <.<

Is the lower the better?

well seeing as I'm not technically in a school that has grades (they used the Pass/Fail system) I'm gonna say I have a 5.0 ^_^

I have a 4.3 GPA somehow.

Honors and AP classes really pay off, I guess.

3.4 weighted, 3.1 unweighted.

What's the point of weighted GPAs anyway? To make the smart kids feel superior?

I believe right at this moment I carry a 3.7 GPA.

Though Ity may go higher after some recent tests in my classes...

3.6

I could be getting a 4.0 if I wasn't lazy

Morkula

I had a 4.0 last semester, and my overall college GPA is 3.82.

GPA is a number that represents how many As, Bs, Cs, Ds, and Fs you've gotten over your course of your high school or college years. In the US, or at least where I've come from, every A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, and F doesn't count. You average all of your grades for your GPA.

Right now, my GPA is 3.332.

It's disappointing for me, as I had over a 4.0 in high school. That's my fault for not studying, really. :/

Mine about a 3.89-3.91 I know it's kind of sad, but what can you do.

I'm pretty much on the same terms as Morkula:

I had a 4.0 last semester, and my overall college GPA is 3.82.

...Well, the average GPA is obviously a little off (it would be plain strange if they were the same), but otherwise......yeah.

So is 4 the highest possible? I don't really understand this system as it's run slightly differently here.
I had an overall GPA of 92.5 last year across 6 subjects.

Before my trip,it was a 3.8.
Now its at a 3.1,because of all missed assignments.
Awful considering the high schools in the area take these grades into consideration when placing you in classes.

Pretty much. Ew, one kid always gloats about her 4.0.

For me it's a 3.8 or w/e all A's and a B is.

I don't really see the point of giving grades a number but whatever works ._.

I'm not voting until I raise my grades. But this year it was 2.1. I had trouble the first 2 grading periods of high school. ;-;

Well, It's a little Bit hard... In my school the Grades are from 0 to 20 so.... If my grades are arround 14... 14/20 is = to 2.8/4??? It looks better when the Numbers are smalers XD

Okay, for those of you that are in the dark, the system works like this.

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

Therefore, if you get all A's, you have a 4.0. They take the value for each of your grades, add them up, and then divide by the total number of grades to get your GPA, or "grade point average".

I'm resting at about a 4.17, because I take lots of Honors and AP classes. For these, if you get an A you get 5 points, and if you get a B you get 4 points, because they're harder than normal classes.

Im from the uk so i dont fully understand how GPA works, but im guessing the higher the better. I got straight As and a couple of Bs for my exams so i think that's pretty high :)

I don't think it's limited to just high school and college, I've had a GPA since the 5th grade :x

Last time I checked, I had a 3.9

I'm in Australia, and they do it a little differently here. Our GPA is based on a scale of fifteen. An A+ (highest possible mark) is worth 15 and an E- (anything below a C is a fail) is worth 1. My GPA was around 13.2, so if I converted it to the American system it would be around 4.3.

Umm. Our school goes beyond 4.0.

I have a 5.18 GPA as of two months ago. I know it's gone down, however, since my grades are slightly slipping.
