I, the game's creator, am a decent spriter, scripter and mapper, as you should be able to see from the screens.
It is set in the brand-new Shika region, which is located east of Hoenn, and west of Johto.
It will feature all 493 existing Pokémon, as well as around 150 new ones.
It is made in Advance style due to the limitations of RMXP (no 3D), but features improved graphics over the GBA games (see the battle screenshot).
Also, unlike most Essentials games, it will feature a full Diamond/Pearl battle system! Yes, Amethyst will feature all the new Diamond and Pearl attacks, items and abilities! It will also have many new items, moves and abilities exclusive to this game!

In the beginning, there was the void.
From the void emerged the Original One.
It spawned two creatures, the Creators.
Individually, the Creators made time and space.
However, the new universe seemed empty.
So from the Creators' power combined was born the Life Giver.
The Life Giver created hundreds of different living beings.
But it still was not satisfied.
So it molded the Beings of the Spirit into its own image.
They were: the Being of Wisdom, the Being of Willpower, and the Being of Emotion.
Thus, all life was imbued with spirit and personality.
Many thousands of years passed.
Legend of Shika
The land of Shika became home to three nations: the Nations of Wisdom, Willpower and Emotion.
These three nations thrived, worshipping the Beings of the Spirit.
However, there was unrest.
The People of Wisdom were greedy for knowledge. The People of Willpower were rash, and easily aggravated. The People of Emotion shunned outsiders, staying in a close-knit community.
Disasters started to happen.
The People of Wisdom were deceived and their ruler became corrupted under a malevolent force.
The People of Willpower fell into a bloody war, guided by an unseen hand.
The People of Emotion were struck down by a disease, spreading among their packed towns like wildfire.
Then, the Original One learned of the catastrophe.
It saw the cause was three Shadow Beasts, which were not spawned from the Life Giver.
The Shadow Beasts were the manifestation of mankind's sins.
So the Original One gave life to the Celestial Guard.
The power of the Celestial Guard sealed the Shadow Beasts away, seemingly for eternity. However, the power of the Celestial Guard was drained too, so it fell into an endless slumber.
That is the mythology of the Shika Region.
Main Story
The story of Amethyst starts similarly to the original games: you, as a young Trainer-to-be, live in Hazelet Town, a quiet town in the Shika region. You are woken by your best friend to collect your first Pokémon from the Pokémon Professor, Prof. Maple. However, Maple is nowhere to be seen! A quick search reveals that she has been ambushed by a mysterious duo, on Route 47!
Your friend helps you defeat the strangers with Professor Maple's Pokémon, and Maple gives you them as a sign of gratitude. But there is a condition. Maple sends you on a quest to visit her colleague Arturo, one of the leading scientists in the deeply-forested Shika region. It turns out that the Necros grunts, who had attacked her earlier, were after some research she had luckily given to Arturo to examine! Your quest: collect these documents. Sounds simple, doesn't it? But little does anyone know that the mysterious Necros Organization are on the move, and after a special prize!
Necros have learned of the Legend of Shika, and are attempting to resurrect the Shadow Beasts. But to what ends? The fate of the land rests with a group of young trainers, of which the player is part of! But will they be strong enough to defeat the organization? Or will the land of Shika fall into ruin?

The region of Shika, as it appears in the PokéComm.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot244.png
The enlarged map which appears when you zoom in.
I will be announcing the names and details of places leading up to the demo.
Hazelet Town
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot299.png
A small town situated in south Shika, it is home to the hero, as well as the renowned Professor Maple. The northern exit of the town brings you to Hazelet Woods.
Hazelet Woods
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot300.png
A short, forested path leading north from Hazelet. The east side of the woods houses a winding maze, rumoured to be home to a rare and powerful Pokémon. However, two stout trees stubbornly block the path.
Wetherill Woods (West)
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot298.png
A route cutting through the dense outskirts of the largest forest in the region. The path extends east as far as the eye can see - however, your destination is to the north-west, making the path much more manageable.
Wetherill Woods (Central)
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot302.png
The central section of Wetherill Woods. A large hill dominates the landscape; however, its influence is greater than just that. Rainclouds from the sea in the west are unable to pass the hill, making the area to the west often covered in rain, while keeping the beach to the east sunny.
Rainglade Town
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot297.png
A remote town, surrounded by verdant forests. It is entirely forgettable, save for one thing; it is the home of the Pokémon Academy, useful for young trainers to hone their skills. The most successful students will eventually have the chance to enroll in the prestigious Pokémon Trainers' University, on the mainland far north of Rainglade.
Everbloom Path
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot304.png
A long path winding through the rainforest. It is named after a plant which flowers all-year round; this plant forms huge, impenetrable mounds which force travellers to take a winding path. It will be a challenge to get through this route in the game, as it is one of the longer routes the player will face at the start of their journey. A rope bridge crosses a wide river at the north of the route.
Lushade City
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot301.png
The first large city visited by the player. It is surrounded by rainforest on the south and east sides, with a beach providing sea access at the north-west. Its unique location and proximity to the rainforest have made it the scientific hub of the region; as such, the huge Lushade Science Institute looms over the city. Trainers visiting the city are in for a treat; it is the location of Shika's first League Gym. But where could it be?

I have also asked Headpunch to critique my sprites, as we all want the game to be perfect!
Other Spriters: Esmas is doing some OWs for the game, and has also expressed interest in doing other sprites.
Musicians: In the first demo, I will probably be using the D/P music, as well as some themes by Umar Arar (3DoOrSdOwN). However, Lorem Ipsum has volunteered to create music.
Designers: Hoppy, Blu, Phoenixsong and Caladbolg have been contributing to the Pokémon design process.
Other: Aldaron is helping with the competitive aspect of the new Pokémon.
Ideas: Pretty much half the people in this thread :P
I am also filling those roles myself, as well as the other jobs not mentioned such as scripting and mapping.

I will be updating this list whenever I decide to release a new Pokémon, but these should tide you over for now:
The Starters

Dipleaf Type: Grass
Seed Dino Pokémon
It absorbs sunlight using its tail so the buds on its back can begin to grow. Long ago, this Pokémon is believed to have had a longer neck than now.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Ignicub2.pngOfficial Art (http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Sugimori%20Art/IgnicubSugi.png)
Ignicub Type: Fire
Young Bear Pokémon
The fur on its neck takes the appearance of glowing flames. Its skin secretes a flammable substance, allowing it to startle enemies with flames and get away.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Axolitl.pngOfficial Art (http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Sugimori%20Art/Axolitl.png)
Axolitl Type: Water
Amphibian Pokémon
A Pokémon that can survive both on land and in the water. It prefers freshwater to saltwater, since the water in its body will start to diffuse out in saltwater.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Bushby2.png
Bushby Type: Normal
Infant Pokémon
Bushby is one of the most playful species of Pokémon in existence. It enjoys wildly swinging through the forest with its long arms. Its tail isn't developed yet.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Chacaw3.png
Chacaw Type: Normal/Flying
Maestro Pokémon
It lives deep in the jungle. Once a month, it gathers with others to sing. Its tails allow it to perfectly keep track of up to 3 rhythms at once by swaying from side to side.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Argaze.png
Argaze Type: Bug/Flying
Staring Pokémon
When it makes eye contact, it will continue staring at its victim until he or she flees in terror. The eye-like pattern on its wings is rumoured to give it strange powers.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/Wichu3.png
Wichu Type: Normal
Float Mouse Pokémon
It is an unusual Pokémon with the ability to float in the sky like a cloud. In the evenings, large groups of them can sometimes be seen flying overhead.

Help Needed

...
OK, maybe I can. But I still would rather have a few helpers :D.
I need:
Ideas. Very important. For moves, abilities and items. All suggestions will be considered.
A musician. I'm not that good at making Pokémon-style music, so if anyone has any experience with making town, route or battle music, feel free to help out.
Spriters. To help sprite out the DP Pokémon in Advance style (because DP sprites use different shading and colours). The sprites must be 64x64, and 100% scratch, like this (thanks to Nopie for the sprite):
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/DP%20Pokemon/SnoverM.png
Anyone who helps will receive a mystery gift, and depending on the amount, an NPC in the game too.

Yuoaman, which sprite[s] in particular?
Lorem, sure. Could you send me a sample of your work? Perhaps a "Wild Pokémon Battle" MIDI? Anyway, you're ahead of me in music qualifications - I'm going to be taking Grade 5 Theory in June :P
Ludicario: What's odd about it, and should I change it? And yes, I made the graphics and scripted the percentages for HP and Exp. It's one of my only scripts which I didn't need help with. Poccil helped me with the menu Pokémon checker, the Map script, and others.
In conclusion, I'm glad you all like it! I'll make some support banners tomorrow. I also need to update the Story section with the "Legend of Shika" - you can look forward to that!
P.S. As of now, I am officially 15 years old. Whoo!

I cant sprite at all, but I can draw, scan, and design alot of my ideas. I have actually been floating around 70 or so pokemon ideas in my head, complete with stats, movesets, abilities etc. I'm also on smogon, and I'd like to help. Did you come up with starters yet? I have been working on a particularly well-balanced set. A Grass/Dark, Water/Fighting, and Fire/Psychic. If you want some of my designs, I'll scan and upload them, with base stats, abilities, and movepools of course. I also have some ideas for the routes. I've always thought that the pokemon games needed more dungeons.
PS: Dont expect incredible shading or anything. I'm a designer, not an artist.

OK, I made an animation of the title screen, to show that it's not just like that. (WARNING: Large file size)
http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee78/wichu/Animation.gif
Sorry for the random coloured pixels in the animation - GIFs can only use a certain number of colours, so a few pixels get changed.
Backmaster, if you want to make some banners, feel free to do so.
EDIT: Sorry, didn't see you there :P.
I already have the starters ready, but if yours are better, I might consider it. You could PM me a few of your Pokémon designs, if you want.
If you have any suggestions for new moves, please post them too!
I probably won't have much use for the routes, because I already have a world map (see first post). Dungeon designs would be welcome; I could PM you a list of some dungeons, if you want to plan them out.

This game is looking very promising and everything, very nice custom stuff, but I am fed up with peope who have almost the exact same storyline as my game.
I have counted, and this is the 3rd (and possibly 4th, but I remember one of them being changed) storyline that almost copies Pokemon Scarlet's. I believe I came up with the idea of the Professor being kidnapped first over a year ago, and soon after I saw fangames with the same idea. I don't even care that our Professors have the same name, it's just that it seems to be more than just 'coinicidence' that so many fangames have all of a sudden got this 'Kidnapped professor' storyline.
I just wanted to point that out, because the next game I see with a similar storyline will make me change my game's storyline. You may think that I'm going crazy here, but you should understand the reason why I'm angry.
But with all of that aside, good luck with your game ;)

Sorry!
I didn't see the story of your game until after I decided on my story. Anyway, in my game, perhaps 'kidnap' is the wrong word? From what I've managed to do on RMXP, it's turning out to be a brief ambush. I'll change the description in the first post.

Impressive. Though not exactly a veteran at looking at fanmade games, I reckon that once this is done it'll be one of the greats. You are an excellent spriter- It looks quite "Pokémoney", but still I can see some uniqueness.
I can help with designing some Pokémon, if you need another person to do so. I am also a rookie spriter. Consdier me interested~!

The sprite I find not very Pokemoney is Wichu, it just seems a little to angular, maybe round it out, and make it eyes large, though i do like your other Chimecho evo... I also really like your title screen.

And finally, we don't need designers any more. However, I am looking for spriters to sprite the DP Pokémon in Advance style (like Shinx in the screenshots). This is because the DP sprites use a different style from the Advance sprites, and I'm sticking with Advance for this game.
The sprites should be at least as good as my sprites, and should be in 64x64 resolution, scaled up to 128x128. I will not accept simple resizes of DP sprites, as they have a different style. I need backsprites too.
Well, thanks for the replies!

Wait, do you still want my designs? I have plenty of them, and what I sent you were just synopses. My concept was that I would send you summaries, you would tell me what you liked and didn't like, and then I would write up all the details and scan and send pictures, if you were worried that what I PMed was what I thought was all I needed to send you, because I have WAY more to say on those designs.
PM me for clarification, post here, just tell me what you want/need. If you don't want anything else, then ok. You just werent clear.

Anyway, I finished the sprite for Professor Maple: SPRITE REMOVED - see the new sprite here (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showpost.php?p=3378144&postcount=35).

I am overall impressed by the screens. The graphics are a nice refresh from most of the other fangames' FR/LG ones. The palette may feel a little too washed out, though. Also, I don't think heavy dithering was the best choice for the female's hair (back battle sprite). Try just solid transitioning, though show hair detail, with slight dithering. The Pokémon, though not the best ideas, are sprited really well.
The mythology of the Shika region is a nice touch, also. It adds much depth and background information. The storyline has been used times before, though (And it has already been mentioned. Sorry for saying it again), but it is still better then the "go get a Pokémon and beat the bad guys" storyline.
Now, the systems look really good, also. The Quick Pokémon Check system should be a useful feature. It is also great to see the phone return.
Overall, this game looks like it should be worth the watch, and keep up the good work.
---------------------------
For the Professor Maple sprite, it looks great, though the hair needs a bit touched up. It could use a bit more detail, and not to be partially pillow-shaded. She would also look a bit better if she had a Pokéball in her out-stretched hand.

Well, due to some feedback I received from Дон Пач and in the Pixel Art forum, I will be improving the Maple and female hero sprites a bit. You have something to look forward to!
Oh, and Дон Пач, I want to keep the game's story in the Pokémon style, though some of it will be manga-ish or Colosseum/XD-like. Including plot twists, bigger roles of legendaries etc.
I will also be including real-life friends and staff members as NPCs and rivals, as well as completely new and different personalities for the Team Necro admins. See if you can guess which characters correspond to which staff (when I release them).

Hey, if it isn't one of my fellow Pokémon Essentials regulars ;) . Well, what can I say? This project definately looks like one of the more promising ones on these forums right now. The amount of features you've managed to add really do impress me (and if you've seen some of my other reviews, it's hard to make me impressed). The new battle interface looks a little odd, and the palette seems a wee bit too dull, but this project still sounds pretty damn awesome.

Well, I'm not looking for Pokémon designers, as I already have four, including myself.
Besides, I already have evolutions of most of the Pokémon you mentioned designed and drawn :P.
Update
I've decided it's time to reveal the starter Pokémon!
http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/5399/494dipleafcc5.png
Dipleaf, the Seed Dino Pokémon. It stays out in the sun for as long as it can, as it gets its energy from the sun's rays.
http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/1239/497charcubcu0.png
Charcub, the Young Bear Pokémon. It is a cute, lovable creature. However, hugging it may have burning consequences.
http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/8664/500axolitlgg3.png
Axolitl, the Amphibian Pokémon. It swims swiftly in water, its normal habitat. However, it cannot move as swiftly on land with its stubby legs.
And another animation, this time of the starter selection scene (again, large file size, but not quite as large ;))
http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee78/wichu/StarterSelection.gif
So, what do you think?
Update 2:

LONG POST ALERT!
Out of request by Wichu, I shall repost my ideas, just an-noted. Some might be missing, because a few of my last ideas were off the top of my head. Also, some names might be different, as I didn't have the names picked out yet for my never-gonna-happen hack, just an idea.
~Rename 'Burn Heal', 'Ice Heal', And 'PRZ Heal' to 'Aloe Vera', 'Heat Pad', and 'Relaxant', respectively.
~Add new 'Full' Restores (Note, name as needed. These names are disposable.)
~~~Small Restore: Heals Status, and only 100 HP, but cheaper.
~~~Wide Restore: Heals Status and 'Hidden' statuses, such as Attraction, Confusion, or being Wrapped, etc
~~~Giga Restore: Heals Status, even fainted, and all HP as if Pokemon just came from a Pokemon Center (NEW IDEA! If used on an un-fainted Pokemon in battle, also heals 'hidden' statuses like Wide Restore. Wow. They just kinda fly in from left field, don't they? lulz.)
~Another New Idea: Perhaps 'Fossils' for non-extinct Pokemon, that have different move-sets or something, as if they developed new abilities over time?
~ 'Max' items for more than just 'PP Max', like 'HP Max', 'Calcium Max', etc.
~'Ability Up' and 'Ability Max' (man that'd be worth some dough!) that act the same as Calcium, HP Up, etc, except they effect all stats at once.
~A Rare Candy-like Item that also gives EVs before leveling the Pokemon, so that you wouldn't have to worry about missing out on a whole level of valuable EVs. Rare Cookie? Rare Pie? Rare Rice Ball? etc.
~New Rods and Modified original rods
~~~Old rod: catches starter-level Pokemon. Pokemon Encountered depends on fishing source.
~~~Good Rod: Catches Average Level Pokemon. Pokemon Encountered depends on fishing source.
~~~Great Rod: Catches Average Level Deep-Sea Pokemon
~~~Super Rod: Catches Upper Level Pokemon (river, ocean, and deep-sea Pokemon)
~~~Top Rod: Catches High Level Pokemon (levels 50-60 area)(river, ocean, and deep-sea Pokemon)
~Revival of Apricorns. Here's some ideas for additional apricorns I had:
~~~Orange Apricorn -> New Ball: Better catch rate for Pokemon species you do not have.
~~~Clear Apricorn -> Copy Ball: Acts exactly like the last Pokeball you used (stock up for inf. Masterballs!)
~~~Violet Apricorn -> Power Ball: Better at catching higher-level Pokemon
~~~Indigo Apricorn -> Weakening Ball: Caught Pokemon reduces its level to 1, becomes its lowest stage, and its stats are minimized, as if It was newly hatched.
~Perhaps some new Mail Stationaries? How about bringing back ones from G/S/C?
~How about new legendaries that balance out other legendaries or add to the flair?
~~~Clorotro (Cloro=Clhlorophyll + Tro=Quatro) Grass/Flying legendary bird.
~~~Perhaps modifying Ho-Oh to be an alternative to fire/flying, as we've already had a fire/flying legendary: Moltres.
~~~Chilltran: Water/Steel - opposite Heatran
~~~How about a ???/Dragon 'Angel' Pokemon opposite demonic looking Giratina (see 'Arceus' below for what I mean about ??? type)
~~~Maybe a 'full moon' alternate to Cresselia?
~~~(New Idea!): Maybe an 'evolved' version of Phione, which breeds out a baby form of 'Manaphy'? Which as you know, breeds out a Phione?
~~~ Serebii.net points out that there is a '???' type Arceus programmed into the game, but no ??? plate and only one ??? move. Perhaps you could expand on this? Make a ??? plate and a multitude of ??? type attacks, which have their own weakness/resistance table?
~RE: Rainbow Wing/Silver Wing. When used in the right place, item vanishes, and you encounter Ho-Oh/Lugia. I had some alternatives. (Note. Names may be different, as many were off the top of my head.) I chose 'feather' instead of 'wing' because if it was a wing, how would they fly?
~~~Blue Feather - Articunoo
~~~Yellow Feather - Zapdos
~~~Red Feather - Moltres
~~~Green Feather - 'Clorotro'
~~~Mind's Eye - Mewtwo
~~~Pure Heart - Mew
~~~Thunder Claw - Raikou
~~~Fire Claw - Entei
~~~Wind Claw - Suicune
~~~Silver Feather - Lugia
~~~Rainbow Feather - Ho-oh
~~~Chrono Leaf - Celebi
~~~Brown Stone - Regirock
~~~Blue Stone - Regice
~~~Grey Stone - Registeel
~~~Transparent Stone - Regigigas
~~~Red Egg Stone - Latias
~~~Blue Egg Stone - Latios
~~~Blue Orb - Kyogre
~~~Red Orb - Groudon
~~~Strato Orb - Rayquaza
~~~Hope Tag - Jirachi
~~~Virus Vial - Deoxys
~~~Broken Transceiver - Rotom
~~~Pixie Dust - Uxie
~~~Spirit Ball - Mespirit
~~~Elf Magic - Azelf
~~~Grand Diamond - Dialga
~~~Grand Pearl - Palkia
~~~Molten Gemstone - Heatran
~~~Frozen Gemstone - 'Chilltran'
~~~Black Spire - Giratina (named it a spire, because he has no feathers. Just Spires)
~~~White Feather - 'Angel' alternate to Giratina
~~~Lunar Feather - Cresselia
~~~Full Feather - 'Full Moon' alternate
~~~Rare Egg - Manaphy (or Phione, if you go with my 'Phione - ? - ? - Manaphy' idea
~~~Black Smoke - Darkrai
~~~Small Flower - Shaymin
~~~Unknown Object - Arceus
~Differences in gender, metallic Pokemon, different colored Pokemon (Idea was ousted, due to the 'Duh!' factor.)
~Maybe modify breeding so that Pokemon specie, attacks, etc are randomized between the 2 parents rather than 'female specie' 'male attacks'. Or perhaps only some of them.
~(My favorite idea): All Pokemon have a gender AND can breed, including ditto. As well, legendaries are harder to breed, can only breed with their own specie or a similar legendary. Legendary birds (including Latias/os) , legendary dogs, Mewtwo/Mew/Celebi, Regis, are just some of the breeding groups I came up with.
And that's all I remember. It doesn't matter to me if you credit me or not. I don't mind either way.

adamb241: It does freeze. I edited it after making the animation to make it clearer.
The Smell: It's OK for a scratch. However, I can see some mistakes:
The lines. Some are too thick - keep them at 1 pixel. Also, too many are black - use darker shades of colour. Finally, they are too straight - they need to look more curved.
Second, there aren't enough colours - you seem to have reused the DP palette. Advance sprites usually have 4 shades of each colour - highlight, base, shadow and line. Since you're not limited to 16 colours, use all those choices.
Thirdly, the shapes: Try not to use the shape tools, but if you do, use shading in the lines. Its head looks a little off; move it across a bit. And its eye is circular on your sprite - it should be circular.
When I sprite, I usually hand-draw a picture, scan it, resize, and go over the lines. As both the people who tried have had problems with Chatot, I'll sprite Chatot myself.
If you want to help, please choose a DP Pokémon you know you can do perfectly; I don't want anything less for the game.
Feel free to do backsprites too. Just make sure the lines/colours/shading is in Advance style, since DP and Advance style sprites clash.

Just some thoughts and ideas: The hair on the trainer below is equally shiney at all times of the day. Not to be picky but it looks odd. Your bearcub has too much color contrast for shadow/light too. It looks synthetic-thread shiney rather than natural-fur shiney, you know?
I think you said you were working on it somewhere but the three shadow species in your opening vid have rough coloring. Their color splotches look like you weren't quite sure when to stop coloring and make it black again. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right. anyway, just constructive criticism, nothing personal. Want to see this be successful. :)
You story-line sounds like a diamond-pearl copy and basically replaces all the legendaries of that game with new pokemon that fill the same roles. just saying.
Item ideas: Comfort blanket: rare item that induces friendship evolutions upon levelling up. If i come up with another before the next post in this thread I'll just edit, otherwise I'll post again
Falling Star: Sure, we could do with another designer! Can you make scratch sprites?
Yuoaman: How about this?
http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/9933/wichu2do0.png

That's a great Charizard. And you did it from scratch?
Of course, everyone's a critic, so as not to be alienated from the group called 'everyone', I have my own thoughts for improvement.
~His head should 'dip' into his nose, not slope into it.
~His hand (right ) seems disproportionate from his front sprite size-wise
~I don't know what it is, but his back just seems... odd, to me compared with its extremities.
But that's all just my opinion. Regard or disregard at your will.
That aside, I stopped by to ask if my idea about ??? attacks took, cause if it did, I already got a few moves to post for it.

The wings look odd:http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/dpmba/dpmba006.png
There's something wrong with the left foot, too.
As for ??? moves, I'm currently reserving the type for Shadow moves (like in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness). If your ideas are good, I might consider having ??? as a more standard move type, rather than just having Curse.
Tetsu
March 16th, 2008, 03:18 PM
First, about the charizard, I don't know why I didn't see it before, but Charizard's wings aren't blue in the back.
OK I have just a few ???s (Get it? Oh the wit...)
What of Arceus? Will he be different for Shadow type? Will there be a Shadow Type Plate? If so, what of the Programmed-but-unmanifested ???-type Arceus?

The Smell, your anatomy looks slightly off (especially the tail), and it looks quite fat.

March 20th, 2008, 01:07 AM
Ugh, I finally finished reading all the posts in this thread. Anyway, I'd be very happy to help with a few things you said you needed.
*Side Quests - I'll need descriptions of places and the general storyline to help with side quests. It's kind of strange, but Pokemon never really has many side quests.
*Team Necros Admins - I'm very good with creating evil characters. I'm not sure why, perhaps because I embrace my dark side? Anyway, I'll need a description of what Team Necros believes as to why they have this twisted, messed up idea of releasing a huge Pokemon.
*Pokemon - I was thinking about ideas for Pokemon, but surprisingly, I couldn't come up with any. You said you didn't really need any more people for this, but I'll inform you if I have a revelation at some point. I have no idea how to sprite Pokemon, but I'm looking forward to your tutorial to see if I'd be interested.
*Moves, Abilities, Items - For this I'll need to know the descriptions of the Pokemon you'll want them to relate to, but I'm sure I'll slowly come up with these on my own. It looks like there are plenty of ideas already, but I'd be happy to help.
I'll check this forum every now and then, but I'm much more active through e-mail (theuniversalguardian@yahoo.com) or via the RMVX forums. Tell me what you still need so I can begin working on it.

Thought of another idea last night just as I was about to fall asleep. I do not take credit for this idea, but credit instead Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team as it was what I was playing beforehand:
For Pokemon with 2 different abilities ( or even some that don't) Allow the Pokemon to have BOTH at the same time.
@Bakuphoon: I like them both, but here's an idea for Shaymin: everyone's seen a sprite of it just standing there. How about a sprite with it verbing, such as running, jumping, standing on 2 feet? Just my thoughts on it.

How are the colours?
Wichu
March 21st, 2008, 05:16 PM
The colours are good - it would be hard to tell apart from the DP sprite.
Here's an edited version with colours taken from the Sugimori art:
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Pokemon/DP%20Pokemon/Drifloon.png
I don't know whether you like those colours better, but I've decided I'm going to use Sugimori art colours - the DP colours (and to a lesser extent, the Advance colours) are too bright in my opinion. Besides, it fits better with the current OW palette. (I'm probably going to have several different OW palettes, used in different parts of the region.)
Also, I've realised I've got the region's geographical location wrong, because I misinterpreted the shape of Johto, and therefore my region overlaps with Johto.
To fix it, I'm just going to modify Johto. I have a sketch of the modified Johto map, which I'm going to scan and go over in the same way as the Shika map.

What should I put in the empty gap above the HP? Any suggestions?
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot037.png
Until catch locations/dates are implemented, I can't really add to this (except for a new bit of info I have planned, giving the Pokémon's battle style). However, if there's a good suggestion for something else to put here, I might try adding it.

Yeah, but in this case, it's above the Exp. Anyway, I added some more info to the second page:
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Screenshot038.png
This tells you what the Pokémon's preferred battle style[s] are. These, unlike its characteristic, change depending on how you train it. When the Pokémon is born, it has "no preferred style".
EDIT: I think I'll change the text colours :P
EDIT 2: I've pretty much finished page 3:

Wow, Wichu, you've seriously gone all-out on this. It's starting to reek of awesomeness. All my Pokémon will probably have the same fighting style as that Mudkip >.>
Sorry I haven't been able to contribute much as of late, creativity block <.< I can not wait to have a go at that beta...
Well, actually, I have a few Charcub substitutes. Sorry if you've already programmed the name into the game: Boncub (Bonfire), Coacub (Coal), Kincub (Kindle), Pircub (Pyre misspelt). Hope you like any of these~
Wichu
March 23rd, 2008, 11:09 PM
Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
Kincub sounds nice, as would Coalcub. (Coacub doesn't sound right.) I have another name possibility - Cubburn. I don't really like it though. By the way, it's very easy to change the name, so you don't have to worry about me changing it.
Anyway, I'll post some more details about the fighting styles.
There are six styles (not including no preference). They are: persistent, all-out, careful, tactical, instinctive, and calm. The first four have an effectiveness square - persistent beats all-out, which beats careful, which beats tactical, which beats persistent, returning to the start. The other two are supportive, with calm being more of an asset to defensive Pokémon, and instinctive to offensive.
The styles are relative to the average Pokémon of that species, so a calm Primeape is possible, as is an all-out Shuckle or a tactical Bibarel. Just don't expect them to be any good.
Also, the styles aren't exactly a new mechanic, just a different view on an older one. It might help to know that a trainer wanting a specific style should fight species using that style so their Pokémon can learn it, for example fighting an Alakazam to improve your Pokémon's tactics, or a Gyarados to improve "all-out"-ness.
No prizes for guessing what mechanic it describes :P

Thanks, everyone! I ended up using the downloadable Pokédex data package from Legendary Pokémon, as it contained a text file which I could merge with my Moves.txt file to avoid having to write everything out manually.
Anyway, I made two more animations: one of the Pokémon summary, and one of a battle, showcasing the new HP bar colouring.
Sorry for the bad quality - this is because of the GIF format. But it's better than YouTube's quality (I think), so I'm sticking with it.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Animations/Summary.gif
The summary screen, with Pokémon and page-turning animations. Notice the egg shakes more when it's about to hatch.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Animations/HPBaranimation.gif
I scripted the HP bar colours to change gradually between green and red. You can see when the Pokémon has half of its HP remaining by the percentage (you used to have to rely on the colour), so I figured why not make the colouring smoother?
Any comments?

FLAMING WINGS
Type: Fire
PWR: 80
PP: 20
1/4 damage recoil
<Fire attack for flying pokemon's like Pidgeot>
It's my last idea but i think, best idea. It's very useful for flying pokemons when they must fight with steel and ice pokemons. I know, you must choice 12 ideas, but when you have more you can choose better. Screens are very good, if you complete this game, they can be better like D/P games. Can you add in game attacks animations? Do you need still more ability ideas?
Wichu

(There will be around 600 different attacks.)
Skele
March 25th, 2008, 04:12 PM
Yeah, i know, you don't must do this. Your game can be still perfectly. I think, you don't need change HP bar, it's good. Do you want add more fakes or only new starters, Chimecho evolution and Wichu? New ability idea:
SINGING OF GOD - Lowers all opponents stats by 2 stage. <like for some "god" legendary pokemons>
Wichu
March 25th, 2008, 04:21 PM
There will be more Pokémon, I just haven't announced them yet. I'll be keeping a lot of them secret until you play the game.
And Singing of God is broken - reducing by 2 stages is equal to halving that stat. Even Intimidate, which only lowers one stat by a single stage, is considered to be one of the best abilities.
Anyway, Arceus already has Multitype ;)
Flaming Wings (or just Flaming Wing because of the 12-letter limit) is an awesome idea, though. Maybe I could have it as a TM? Normal-types learning it by level-up just isn't quite right. Although Moltres, Ho-oh and Charizard should be able to learn it by level-up.
EDIT: Making the move animations would take hundreds of times longer than scripting the HP bar.
Skele
March 25th, 2008, 04:26 PM
Yeah but there are more "gods" - Palkia, Dialga, Giratina... You can do with "my moves" all what you want... If you want "SINGING OF GOD" can lower all stats by 1 stage or only random stats by 1 stage. Elemental fangs like FIRE FANG can be learn by level-up for nonfire-types. FLAMING WING it's like elemental fangs.
What do you think about that idea:
Unowns can be ??? type <no weaknesses, resistances and maybe some immunities> and can learn by level-up <lvl 1> "letters attacks" with ??? type like "AaA". For example "FfF" can do damage and freeze opponent, "EeE" can do damage and raises evansion, "???" can be like Metronome. <Unown A can learn "AaA", Unown Y - "YyY">

how, this is perfect, almost heavenly... i can't wait until it's done, wow... amazing!!!
Wichu
March 25th, 2008, 04:48 PM
Actually, all the non-Fire types which learn Fire Fang learn it at level 1, i.e. they can only get it through the Move Relearner.
The idea for a unique move for Unowns is cool - however, I think there should only be one move, which they all learn, but has a different effect depending on the letter. Here's a name possibility - Glyphic Power (from the Greek word glyph, which means symbol).
Skele
March 25th, 2008, 04:54 PM
UNOWN EYE - Give immunity to ???-type moves. <like for Unown>
PREHISTORIC - Give immunity to random-type moves. <like for prehistorical pokemons like Kabuto>
I think it's cool idea with Glyphic Power but you can do different effect for all letters? What you think about give some "1 move" pokemon some additional moves, like for Smeargle, Ditto and give attack SKETCH for some another pokemons like Unown, Mew, Togepi?
PAINT ATTACK
Type: Normal
PWR: --
PP: 10
Change randomly opponents type.
I think that can be good attack for Smeargle. Maybe you can give Smeargle evolution with better stats.
Wichu
March 25th, 2008, 05:08 PM
For Unown Eye, there aren't any damaging ??? type moves - the only ??? type move is Curse.
Prehistoric is an OK idea, but how does the effect have to do with the Pokémon being prehistoric?
Yeah, I will give each letter a different effect.
I think Smeargle and Ditto should keep their only move, as what else could Ditto do apart from transform? Also, even if it had other moves, it wouldn't be able to use them after it transformed. As for Smeargle, it can already learn virtually any other attack (except for Chatter, as it can't change its cry, and eventually, Glyphic Power, as it doesn't have a letter).
Giving Sketch to other Pokémon would be a bad idea, because Mew and Togekiss are already very powerful. Could you imagine how broken they'd be if they could learn any move? And how is Unown supposed to sketch something anyway? It has no hands :S
Anyway, I made the animation for the Pokémon icons when they are affected by a status condition, as on Diamond/Pearl.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the egg hatched :D

UNOWN EYE and PREHISTORIC should be new abilities and i think GLYPHIC POWER can be ???-type. UNOWN EYE can give immunity for all ??? moves <ghost Curse, Glyphic Power>. You can give some new ??? moves like:
STRANGE <Special>
Type: ???
PWR: 40
PP: 25
May confuse opponent or disable one of opponent moves for 4 turns.
WHY?
Type: ???
PWR: --
PP: 5
User faints and all opponent moves are now in user type.
SUGGESTION
Type: ???
PWR: --
PP: 5
Heal 1/2 user HP and heal all status problem but cuts PP of one other user move.
RESET
Type: ???
PWR: --
PP: 5
Heal user and opponent HP and status problems.
ABYSS <Physical>
Type: ???
PWR: 140
PP: 5
User can't use now this move.
BIG EYE <Special>
Type: ???
PWR: 150
PP: 5
User cannot attack next turn.
You can also give me old idea move "NEVER" with ??? instead Dark type. All ??? moves can be unavoidable but ??? don't have any weakness and resistances and nobody have weakness or resistances for ??? type.
Wichu
March 25th, 2008, 05:45 PM
Well, I'm currently reserving ???-type moves for Shadow Pokémon (as on Colosseum/XD). Therefore, having ??? as a separate type would just confuse people further. In fact, I'm considering changing Curse to Ghost-type.
Your move effect ideas are pretty good, but I don't really like the names. They're quite simple compared to other move names. Could I use some of those effects on moves, but give them a different name and type?
Skele
March 25th, 2008, 05:50 PM
Yeah, of course. Do, what you want. And what you think about PREHISTORIC like a ability? What's type you want give for GLYPHIC POWER? Psychic or Normal? In your game all pokemon will be catchable with normal method? <fight and catch> I think you can give pokemon area with starters evolution after pokemon league.
Wichu
March 25th, 2008, 05:56 PM
Yeah, it's a nice name. I think its effect should be slightly changed though - perhaps it should lower the opponent's speed depending on how many times it has evolved. For example, it would lower Charizard's speed by 2, since it's evolved twice, Gyarados's speed by 1, since it has evolved once, and Pokémon like Heracross should be unaffected since they haven't evolved.
This ties into the ancient theme, since animals are generally believed to have been less evolved during prehistoric times, so more evolved Pokémon would be given a penalty (like speed lowering, since they wouldn't be as adapted to moving around in prehistoric conditions).
Skele
March 25th, 2008, 06:03 PM
I think it's good idea. What about my idea with catching starters evolution after league? What you want do with all of pokemon legendaries? Events for all?
Wichu
March 25th, 2008, 06:12 PM
Well, I want to be able to have online trading, so you could breed and trade your starter to other people, and get all of them that way. Even if I can't make the trading, I'll still let you make your Pokémon into Mystery Gifts, so you can transfer them between games.
With legendaries, I'm going to have an event for each one, for example for Rayquaza, you see Groudon and Kyogre fighting and have to get Rayquaza to help. (This is just an example, it own't necessarily be in the game.) However, some Pokémon, like Mew, Celebi etc. will only have an event if you get a Mystery Gift (don't worry, you won't have to go anywhere for it - it will be downloadable from the internet).
Skele
March 25th, 2008, 06:18 PM
What user need do for Mystery Gift number? Can i clone pokemons in game?
Wichu
March 25th, 2008, 06:22 PM
For the Mystery Gift, it will not be a code. It will be a file, which you will be able to put up on a website and allow someone to download it. However, only one person will be able to use it, as you will have to put in the name and trainer ID of the person you want to give it to.
I won't have a cloning cheat on purpose, don't worry. And I have a way to stop people cloning Pokémon through copying save files and trading/Mystery Gifting, but I'll need to learn a bit more about scripting if I want to put it in.
Anyway, I have to go now. I might be back soon :)
Skele

Do you want give some special Mystery Gifts? Like Legends, Shiny Legends, special pokemons holds special items?
Yup. Probably not shiny legends though, as I believe that if you want one, you should have enough patience to get them yourself. I'm also going to reward people who help me with a cool Pokémon, like a Flying Pikachu or something. (This could be you!)
However, I'm not planning to include the ability to create gifts in the first demo, as it would involve scripting which I'd like to save until I'm more experienced. You'll be able to receive gifts though - I want to test the system before properly implementing it.

I've always loved the Unown. I was always so impressed in the third Pokemon movie how the Unown could create an alternate reality and I was always kinda disappointed that they were very weak in all the games. So, a proposition:
Move: Alternate Reality
Type: Psychic
Power: 200
Description: This move can only be used if there are 2 Unown on the field that belong to the trainer. Both Unown combine their power to warp reality and damage all enemies. This attack always happens last and takes the place of both Unown's turns.
Obviously, it has a lot of restrictions, such as it can only be used in double battles and both Unown have to survive a round of attacks to use it. It all balances out, in my opinion.

Superjub - Thanks! Nice move!
Timmy - Same goes for you, good ideas! However, I don't like the name Thunderbeam - perhaps Ampere Drive? (An ampere is a unit of electric current.) Also, I think Focus Slash sounds a bit like the item Focus Sash. Maybe Focus Crush or something?
Guardian - interesting. I'd propose changing the name to Reality Warp due to the 12-letter limit on move, item and ability names. And don't forget Species Clause!
Anyway, some ideas -
Ability: Vocalist - Increases the power of the bearer's sound-based moves by 50%.
Move: Point Strike - Fighting, Physical, 15PP, 70 power, 100 accuracy - ignores foe's Defense boosts.

timmy112 - Ah, another Lucario fan. I changed my avatar so it doesn't get confusing. I was thinking about something like Special Targeting, but to keep it from becoming too powerful, I thought it would be best to halve the power of the move used when this effect takes place. LIGHT HEARTH - When user fight with Dark- or Ghost-type opponents, user's moves does 25% more damage. Every Dark- or Ghost-type user's moves, now are Normal-type.
Also i rename some my old ideas. I have some questions.
1. Can i breed pokemons in your game?
2. What you want do with PICK-UP ability?
3. When i give my pokemon to Mystery Gift file, i lose this pokemon?
4. Ability PREHISTORICAL does something against legendary pokemons?
PS. I don't give Accuracy for most of my ideas moves because i think, it's for your decision.

Adam: You haven't been playing much recently, have you? :P
Genetics is cool, but remember Special is split into Special Attack and Special Defense.
Also, Natural Cure and Inner Focus already exist (Natural Cure heals status when switched out, Inner Focus prevents flinching).
Timmy: More generic elemental attacks? Could be useful before the player has access to TM24, TM38 and HM03. Aura Beam is a nice idea. I don't like the name though - how about Aura Blast (is that what it's called on SSBB?) or Aura Storm. The ability is cool, although, like Guardian suggested, change the name to Wide Range. You wouldn't have to worry about it being overpowered, as in double battles, moves that target both opponents have reduced power. I'd make it only apply to damaging moves, as statusing both foes is overpowered (as Darkrai showed). And I don't think Lucario should get it (it already has 2 abilities anyway). Maybe Octillery should get it?
Rubii: Awesome ideas! This is what I mean when I say 'new move effects'. May I suggest Volbeat and Illumise to learn Attack Link and Union Link, and Zangoose and Seviper to learn Siphon Link?
Shadow King: Moves with Shadow in their name are always Ghost-type, and the name doesn't really fit the effect. How about Abyss Force? Ground Whirlpool, apart from going over the 12-char limit, is a lot like Sand Tomb. Unless you mean 25 HP lost? You could call it Quicksand... And Palkia doesn't need a Roar of Time clone - it already has Spacial Rend.
Skele: Heartbreak is cool, but I don't understand - it stops the attraction when you use it, but still drains the opponent's HP? Geyser is an awesome idea. I'd lower the flinch chance to 20%, and make it only work if the move has no other added effect, like King's Rock. Giratina and Arceus already have special moves, though. Here's a list of all legendaries which haven't got a signature move/ability yet: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit. (I've done the Regis.)
As for your questions:
1. Yes, there will be breeding.
2. Pickup will be like Emerald, Diamond and Pearl - the higher level it is, the better stuff it will find.
3. Yes, you'll lose the Pokémon (I don't want you to be able to clone with it).
4. Seeing as legendaries are probably older than the fossils, I don't think they should be affected.

How bout this type of move....
Name: Aid Buzz
Type: Bug
Power: --
Accuracy: --
PP: 15
Description: Summons help from a nearby colony, causing another of their species to aid in battle. If the original pokemon faints, the backup will retreat. No effect in double battles.
Learns: Butterfree, Beedrill, Venomoth, Ledyba, Ledian, Beautifly, Dustox, Mothim, Combee, Vespiquen.
This isn't too overpowered, as the pokemon who can use it all have a 4x weakness, and are quite fragile. Not sure if you can program it though >_< I just know these pokemon need some kind of boost... CANNOT be egg moved, as the preevolved forms are larvae and as such, cannot leave the nests.
Name: Dry Ice
Type: Fire/Special
Power: 75
Acc: 70
PP: 10
Description: Shoots a jet of extremely hot water and ice at the opponent. 30% chance of burning/freezing. Power increased to 100 and accuracy to 95 during the effects of Sunny Day.
Learns: Goldeen, Seaking, Seel, Dewgong, Horsea, Seadra, Kingdra, Lapras, Marill, Azurmarill, Octillery, Spheal, Sealeo, Walrein, Luvdisc, Milotic, Finneon, Lumineon.
Give a fire type move to something other then fire types, as fire type pokemon are kind've rare... And give sunny day teams something other then grass/fire types. As Kingdra's speed relies on rain, as well as some of the other pokemon's special abilities, the added effect would help on sunny day teams, but not overpower them.

You can do whatever you want.
if you want to change which pokemon to learn the attacks then you can.
Oh, and I have another idea for an attack:
Name: BlackThunder
Type: Electric
PP: 5
Power: 100
Accuracy: -- (can't miss)
Can be learned by: Electrike, Manectric, & Raichu
Description: A black bolt of lightning falls on your opponent, but you can't move the next turn
Name: Black Aura
Type: Dark
PP: 5
Power: 140
Accuracy: 55

I have a couple fo moves and yes gene blast does sound better.
Soul Swap
Learned by: Phione
What does it do: Its like Heart Swap and considering Phione's legendary I decided to make it. It swaps instead of stats but the type with the foe. Eg: Your vsing a grass type, you become grass then it becomes water.
PP: 5
Learns at level: 70
Note: If the opponent has two types its first type will be chosen.
If it sounds too uber then I guess it can be like Mananphy's except 5 PP considering it's not meant to be as strong as its "parent".

Skele: Hmm... I think your moves have too many different effects. I think that for the Legendary Trios, they should either have a unique move or a unique ability (as they're not quite as special as the 'main' legendaries) - the birds and beasts could have the abilities you suggested, Regis should have Clear Body and unique moves (Arctic Chill, MachineLaser, Desert Hold), pixies, not sure - probably abilities, and Shadow Beasts moves (to be revealed later ;))
Timmy: I have the perfect Pokémon for Bug Bomb (what is it? wait and see). Cyclone is a bit overpowered, unless it also affects the user. Thunderstorm is good - I might change Thunder to have 100% accuracy in that instead of Rain Dance.
Prince: Heatran already has a signature move - Magma Storm.
Rubii: Black Aura should be Dark-type in my opinion. BlackThunder is good though.
Superjub: I don't think that Phione should have a special move, as technically it's not a legendary (you can get more than one, it can breed, and it doesn't have that good stats). Besides, it's called a weaker version of Manaphy for a reason.
Keep the ideas coming, people!
Anyway, I'm now looking for a musician. If you are good at writing music on the computer and want to help out, send me an example of your work in MIDI format.
Also, I've been working on some Pokémon - expect some to be revealed soon!

Hm, some of those have good ideas. However, please be aware of the 12 character limit. A couple of comments:
Energy Field: It sounds basically like Psywave only in fighting-type form. Just try to keep from making it too powerful.
The Final Stand: First of all, you'll have to take out "The" because it'll be too many characters. Final Stand still sounds good. However, this is extremely overpowered. The opponent's defense or special defense will have to take effect to make it semi-balanced. Or perhaps a cut in power for high-level Pokemon would work.

I still take my impartiality to heart in that if Wichu wants to change anything or not credit me for any of these, then by all means he may, as it is his game.

Fire Out
Water
Att: 60
Acc: 95
PP: 15
Can also be used as a HM. It KO's Fire Pokemon. Outside battle, you can put out a fire on your way
It's too powerfull move, i think, they can't KO Fire pokemons but can do more damage for that type. If you want can KO fire type with that type, give them low PP, low Accuracy <like 50%> and they can't does damage. Idea with new HM it's maybe good, but there are now 3 water HM, they maybe can be ground type.
I think maybe Wichu can change Field Effect of Hypnosis, they can controle wild pokemons mind's and can move it if they block a way and/or change Field Effect of Dig, they can dig tunnel when ground is sand. They don't be needed to end game but give ability to explore some additional area with move tutors, rare pokemons and items. Dig also can give you ability to visit undeground, prehistorical caves... but you can do that after fight with trainer Old Miner <they can use prehistorical pokemons>. That battle can be after win 3 badge.
Item:
Mythic Rock - instead of Hearth Scale, Mushrooms
In that caves can life basically evolution form, wild prehistorical pokemons with randomly levels 1-30 (95% for one pokemon kind, 5% for another one). You can return to surface only with rock stairs, which come in place when you use Dig. You can find pokeballs with random items in caves, bury through other trainers. They can be some events with NPC like "I don't remeber where I bury my HyperPotion" <or maybe pokeball with pokemon :D>. If you return him pokemon for him, they can you give mysterious item, which you can use to wake legendary pokemon. There can be only random place in maps when you can use Dig to go to caves. In undergrounds place you can find randomly rare (which you can find only in underground) hidden items (like when you use itemfinder) like evolution stones, Mythic Rocks, Shards, Rare Bones, plates and other (i think, all of that items are very old). "XYZ find strange item is soil. Do you want check it?" <Yes/No> "Oh! It's ______! Do you want take _______?" ;) After league you can give 10% chance to find underground "room" with only... one Regi!!
Yes, i know, that can be D/P plagiarism, but propably all D/P players remember that excite undergrounds mining and there is some different, new, another method like in D/P. Good locations for Regis and prehistorical pokemons and good encouragement for use Dig move in game. :D

Yeah, thanks everyone for the move ideas. I really need to make a list of what people have suggested...
I'll edit this post with comments about the moves later. Why? I have an update!
UPDATE: The Mystery Gift system is 90% finished. I tested it by reproducing the PBR Electivire and Magmortar gifts (I haven't actually got them, so the description is different). Here's the screens:
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot051.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot052.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot054.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot055.png
I haven't mapped any Marts yet, so I stuck the guy in a Pokémon Centre for now.
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot056.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot057.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot058.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot059.png
The Pokémon's stats (I haven't made custom sprites for Electivire or Magmortar yet):
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot060.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot061.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot062.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot063.png
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot064.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot065.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot066.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot067.png
And collecting the gifts again after resetting:
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot068.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot069.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot070.pnghttp://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/projectamethyst/Screenshots/Mystery%20Gift/Screenshot071.png
Notice that the Pokémon's characteristic and stats are different, while their gender and nature are the same. This is the case for the real gifts too. And the gifts aren't coded into the game - they're stored as external files. This means I can create a brand new gift whenever I want, without having to release a patch/new release. For the record, I got lucky the second time with IVs:
Adamant #466 Electivire: 14 - 15 / 31 / 0 - 1 / 6 - 7 / 16 - 17 / 28 - 29
Modest #467 Magmortar: 6 - 7 / 6 - 7 / 14 - 15 / 31 / 20 - 21 / 26 - 27
Max Attack/Special Attack ftw!
Oh, and ignore the fact that the player seems to have changed gender. The old save file got corrupted, so I started again.
More updates soon!
EDIT: Oh whoops, I forgot to set the default font to FRLG. That's why some of the writing on the summary goes off the edge.

Thanks!
You think making animations will be hard? Try scripting at least 50 new move effects! :D
Hmm... Scramble is a bit overpowered - it's basically 3-6 free turns, unless it can be got rid of by switching. I like the idea of Anarchy more, though they have similar effects.
Rubii: Good moves as usual. I'd suggest raising Ancient Wing's accuracy if it has to recharge. And DragonicWing should be DraconicWing.
Kwwa4: As I said, Anarchy is good. Chivalry, I'm not sure of - it would still go last in Trick Room, right? It's a nice idea, as it would encourage people to use slower, bulkier Pokémon instead of fast sweepers, which are currently monopolizing the metagame (compared to slower ones).

TELECOMBO <Physical> <like for Gallade, Deoxys and Claydol>

Type: --
PWR: --
PP: 5
Can be use when user have in him moveset 2 or 3 other Special moves. Does combined damage and effects of 2 selected, Special moves with types of both moves (combined moves can have 2 types). They use one PP of both moves. They can't be used if at least one of that moves don't have now any PP. If opponent have weakness, resistances and immunities for types of used moves, this move can't do more damage like for 4x Weakness, less like for 4x Resistance and does nothing if opponent have immunity for both types (but still can do damage if move have at least one type for which opponent don't have immunity).
