Hi!
I am Brazilian programmer, and I come to show a new tool to them, created by me:

Trainer Editor 3.5

This tool functions in Fire Red, Ruby and Emerald (only in American versions).

Advantages in relation to the PET:
- It does not need archives * ini(pokeroms.ini);
- The folders with the sprites ja comes with the installation;
- Will be able to choose an item for each pokémon;
- It functions in Emerald.

This error happens because I did not configure the installer correctly, but in the next version he will be corrected.
But this does not influence in nothing in the program.

Hm, I've run into a problem when attempting to change trainer names. I don't know if this is a problem with the program in itself, or just a problem with the way trainer names are changed. When I tried to change Lt. Sarge's name to "Anthony" it changed to "Anthonyge." Then when I tried to change the name to "Tony", thinking it was too long, it changed to "Tonytonyge." Similarly, when I tried to change Giovanni's name to "Douglas" I received "Douglasi." Just thought I'd let you know, just in case.

You must put the "pics" folder into the folder you installed the programme

I reinstalled it to no C:/Program Files/Trainer Edit

Both the trainer editor, all the picture files, and the other ones that came with the trainer editor are in the "Trainer Edit" folder. I still get the same error for Emerald.

Well, if you insist though, download EliteMap and install it. Those two apps should have it in English.

The Trainer Editor is great Juan, but it takes quite a longer time to load compared to PET. I have yet to reach to the Gym Leaders' and edit their moves. Can you make a more English friendly version or one that has faster loading times (That is, if it's possible). I'm not exactly used to seeing Nenhum the whole time...

You can not edit all Trainers in Emerald and FR/LG using this tool.

This tool has trainers from 1 to 2B5 (as in R/S), but FR/LG and Emerald have MORE trainers.

You must expand the amount of trainers in your tool, because it's impossible to edit all trainers.

I hope you understand what I'm saying.

But PET works only with American Versions.

I want to edit ALL trainers in GERMAN versions of FR/LG/E.

Not to mention that PET also does not have all trainers for Emerald. PET has only from 1 to 2E6. while Emerald has trainers from 1 to 356. This means, that many trainers (e.g. Gym Leader Rematches) CAN'T BE ACCESSED.

Sorry to say this, but I think PET is much better for the following:

1. At least PET edits the Pokemon and Pokemon attacks of these classes: Pokemon Trainer, Rival, Gym Leader, Elite Four, and Champion. Trainer edit does not.
2. What does "NENHUM" mean?

(Fire Red) I was editing some trainer's pokemon good and fine until I got to Giovanni's first battle. when I edit the moves of the pokemon, the moves become scrambled and only like two of them register, the other two being "Nenhum" which I'm guessing means none. I tried to edit Giovanni's second battle and I can't change ANYTHING. There's just this Lv.0 Muk sitting there and I can change it and stuff, but I can't change the moves. I'm not at the point in the game that I see Giovanni for the first time much less the second time (I'm editing it as I go along) and I can only use this file because I can't find other programs (RS Ball, PET). I tried to edit another's pokemon, but the moves aren't there, and I can't change them...so I went and faced him to make sure he actually had moves and he did, they attacked me fine. Is the Giovanni part of my ROM corrupted or is it the program? If it's the program, can someone link me to PET or RS Ball to use? Thanks.

I don't know if this is happening to everyone or just me. I am using Emerald rom. I change Brawly's Pokemon and after I save, everything changes itself. For example, I make his Machop level 21 and give him Karate Chop, Vital Throw, Seismic Toss and Focus Energy, after I click save, he gets Dream Eater and some other moves.
The other tool PET doesn't change the moves but it changes the whole Pokemon. xD

You need to download the named OCX file. It's an ActiveX control which is necessary for the program to operate. You can search for this file in Google. Then, download the file. Now, put the downloaded file onto desktop, just for convenience, or open your folder with downloaded files. Press Start button and type "system32" without the quotes into the search box and press Enter. It will open the system32 folder. Now, drag the OCX file and drop it into the folder. You are done.

Every time I use the script part the game glitches up and it causes my character to surf when I enter a building or use stairs or always surf.
I tried to use it 3 times so thats why I said 3 different things that all involve a glitch that causes surfing...

Why the trainers' names have 4 spaces after the name? I mean, I changed Brock's name to another and the name is like this: "Pancho "... it's very curious.

I wanna know one thing:
Why the trainers' names have 4 spaces after the name? I mean, I changed Brock's name to another and the name is like this: "Pancho "... it's very curious.
If someone wants to tell me why... i'll be very thankful.

P.d: I used trainer editor pro, the one of Blastoise as icon.

Is there any way to repair this?

I'm going to hack a Fire Red but the only problem is there are repeat of people. How do I know which one is which?

Well I tested the three versions you posted here with my FR rom ( USA ) and all the trainers are listed as buggy characters like Û or à, and when I click them the program just crashes with a RunTime Error..."RunTime error 13 - Type Mismatch" something like this or"RunTime error 380 - Invalid Property Value"is it normal?i need some assistence please

This is the message I get when I run it. I have tried all the solutions mentioned earlier but none of them work. I tried putting the files inside the system32 folder, it didn't work. I then restarted the computer. Still didn't work. -Sigh- I guess back to PET I go...
