On Serebii, it says that the Hitmon family + Tyrouge can get egg moves, but they can only be male. Does anyone know how to get egg moves on Tryouge? It is very confusing to me.

Breed a Hitmon with a Ditto. It's the only way to get a Tyrogue. The egg moves all come from Tyrogue's evolutions. For instance, you can Breed a Hitmontop with Rapid Spin with a Ditto, and the Tyrogue will have Rapid Spin. You can then evolve that Tyrogue into a Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee with Rapid Spin, a move they wouldn't have otherwise.
EDIT: I just checked Serebii. I may be wrong about all this, because it lists Helping Hand, a move that the hitmons don't learn....

Ah. Thanks. That really helped. This can be closed now before people repeat the same thing over and over.

Pokemon XD Hitmonchan gets it in 3rd Gen, and Tyrouge now can learn it without breeding, so it's all good
