somehow certain tilesets block data is messed up, but its easy to fix that
in snowspire theres a hosue, when you enter it youre in a glitched desert xD

Alright.. uhh.. M_T.. you forgot to fix the bug in the house (jumping to the right when you're above or on the left of mum).. and you forgot to set the flag.. I always receive a pokemon from mum even after the level script XD..
I recompile mom's script.. the problem is if you've compiled the dad script, or anything else for that matter, after mom's.. it will be overwritten..

I did it after the other events, I'm quite sure.
But it's better if u just insert the fixed one with pokescript again.
and..er...I checked my scripts, in the mother script she vanished, in the center script clearflag 0x206 makes her reappeare.
And in the center script, the setflag 0x209 is activated. Mother script checks for 0x209 and if it's true it goes to the next message O.o
oh damn, I just recognizes I inserted the wrong script, my old made with pokescript, not the fixed one with XSE xD
I could write it again in pokescript language and send it to u, or will u fix this alone?
edit: adiktus, u got a pm ^^
Don't wonder why it's that long again, I don't want to change something that's workin perfectly fine ^^
Also the checking for the koordinates is made the long way, since I recognized to late that I could have done it easier -.-
but it's working, so...who cares?

As I said, I think so. But I'm not really sure.
btw I'm scripting the last battles in FoR atm, in the city full of Team Shadow members.
I'll have to try them out afterwards, if they work we can go on with the arcanine farm.

You all know what's happening in Hawksham, I think?
You enter it, the camera moves to samara and a man.
they're talking about the arcanine farm, Samara goes away.
you can move, but only forwars because if u step backwards u automatically step back and think: Somethin strange is going on. I should talk to the ppl in the town.
If u talk to the ppl, all of them are shadows, but look like normal ppl.
If you can defeat all, the ADMIN will battle u at the exit. If u want to battle him before, he says you haven't defeated all of the others.
What's going on if u look at the scripts?
The script with the camera movement sets a flag. All "normal" persons have the ID of the flag number and vanish, the shadow members have the same picture number and are standing at the same spot, so it looks like they are there from the beginning on and the normal persons are gone.
If you battle a person and win, the person vanishes.
Problem:
It doesn't matter which offset I give the man who talked to samara in the event at the entrace, he always says the same sentence as a CUT tree O.o
It looks like this tree can be cut down..
I even deleted him and made a new person, gave it the same person/picture number and ID and entered the offset for the battle script.
Again o.o
does anyone know why this is happening?

BTW, I have to point out that #raw 0x69 aka lockall doesn't work O.o the girl on the left still moves. Maybe lockall is canceled when applymovements are done? It was a good thing, though, that the girl does not move to the right.

hmm i dont know why that happens MT, maybe just movve that person somewhere where i tcant be seen and ccreate another one...

Ich kann versuchen die XSE datenbank zu durchforsten, aber ich glaub das kann nicht mit einfachen scripting tools gemacht werden sondern braucht asm oder irgendwas andres.
und ich hab den posteingang wieder frei gemacht ^^

well my idea was that when you arrive in guaiwan you see misty, who is the village elder of guaiwan, being attacked by two warrioirs from huoshi or gaoya. you help her to fight them and afterwards she gives you the running shoes

or we could make it like this:
player is battling against one of them, and after he won it's like misty managed to beat the other one.
but a real double battle would be much cooler O.o

Well.. I'll check the events in emerald.. Those events are really long with a LOT of setvars, compares, if gotos.. some even appearing multiple times.. >.< Anyway, we'll see. I'll report the result tomorrow...
Edit: M_T, the coordinates were 02 1D, not 10 1D.. sorry about that.. and I don't think that was the problem after all.. Still, the number of people and their event ID's are the problem, I think..
No reports for the double battle thing.. The FoR script currently takes my time >.< It would also help if anyone knows any occurence of that kind of double battle in FR..
(I actually posted this in the wrong thread before XD)
Edit yet again -.-: @M_T I was wrong about the event ID's part.. I was right about the people number.. And I just realized its so easy to solve this problem. Check the map again.. People event number.. select 5 and delete it. The script should work fine.
@Neti: I'm checking for the double battle. I still need refreshing if any of those battles are in FR.

hi guys, sorry for long time no posts for me, the fact is that i'm very very busy, i have to do a lot of sprites, so i haven't the time to read the thread, so how far are we on FoR and LoF?
another question: X wants to release a beta soon, but isn't there another gym that just one? what about that scripts/gyms/sprites?

are any other sprites needed? i mean for both hacks? or a plot for an event (in FoR?)

actually we do need an event plot, yes. we need one for the next event about the arcanine famr, whcih will play on the boat the most time.
if youre too busy i could do that tomorrow, now i need to go to bed cause i was in cologne watching the football match with a few freinds of mine (about 20.000 xD)

I have a nosebleed just by looking at the level script in map 26.8 in Emerald. O.o That's what I call objective scripting..
I went through a shortcut and used find function.. and there are no trainerbattles.. just specials...
1. only one special determines the battle.. most of the others determine your pokemon
2. 99% these specials don't work for any game other than emerald >.<
3. If in the unlikely case it does in FR, it requires extreme hex editing to change your partner's pokemon
Those are my first thoughts.. I guess I could try and err, whilst being prepared for a ton of nosebleeds and the risk for anemia O.o
EDIT: I was testing out FoR (recieved from M_T, dunno if its the latest).. you may already know this but I'll post them anyway..
1. I enter the forest before Bloominggrove, then enter Bloominggrove.. the tree by the MT disappears O.o
2. Oak's Parcel? Daisy Oak?? I can't buy from Bloominggrove mart coz I can't deliver the parcel O.o, the warp in the mart is messed up (easy enough)
3. Before I enter the bridge, I get warped to Sparrowdale (easy as well).. the bar and the house to the left are messed up (outside)
If it was already fixed in a later patch, then nevermind.

hey neti, like i promissed i worked a little bit on your sprites (had free time today) and i made the front, back and sidesprite of the hero and heroine for LoF:
with the boy you have the choice, i made him with pallete 3 and 6, you could choose what you want, pls tell me, so i can do the other movements:

i would prefer the first male sprite set with pal 3
it fits more to the bigger image you made
and i dont know which palette to take for the gaoya grunts, it wouldnt be too hard to figure it out, but i think you got them all as indexed bitmaps, so it will be way easier if i give a patch to you and you insert them and the heroes and the others sprites i requested^^
btw i still need a leader sprite of gaoya, i took archie and maxie for the other two regions... you could just take giovanni and gve him the lightning symbol somewhere on his clothes...
btw @MT: hows the script going?
and i stil ldidnt receive my award xD i dont like to wait^^

Okay, I didn't have much time yesterday and don't have it today too -.-
But I'll try to finish the script as fast as possible.
@adiktus: you got the latest patch, only the rival sprite isn't inserted which will be inserted afterwards.
I totally forgot about the parcel thing, since I wasn't the one who deactivated it xD
The warp on the bridge was, like neti said, place to check the big events easier without having to go all the way
but we should remove one of them to test the normal way too.
kay, think that's all to say now xD

Lolz. I'll try to find out about the disappearing tree.. Also, I forgot to mention the glitch after a wildbattle in a route with trainers.. You freeze, the trainer has your sprite and is glitched and you control that one O.o.. And Red as well.. same problem with the tree XD
@M_T We can edit that oak parcel level script (through hex).. Shall I send you the values and the offset?

I can't remember that the glitch with the bar has happened before O.o
And about the glitch after wildbattle: u just have to delete the person you control and insert a new one, same numbers and values. It will work then and the glitch is gone.
and about the parcel: could u do that pls?
like I said, I don't have much time at the moment and I'm doing the legend of fenju script (which is working better now, nearly done I think).

what is wrong with the bar?is it a tile glitch or what? does it happen only in the game or in adv map too? if its in advmap too its a siple tile or block glitch which is easy to fix.

good news neti, the event is done except for little things.
first, your piloswine attackes the enemys pokemon, it's jumping on it.
Should I make noises there, like a jumping sound if I find the right number?
I think it would be better ^^
And I inserted a second soundchange, but instead of the change there's a messagebox:
Player received ???????????
and then the script continues perfectly fine until the end.
I'll be able to fix this messagebox without a problem, and if I find the numbers for the jump sound the script should be finished soon.

If anything needs to be changed, tell me and I'll try to make it today.
(and btw, the trainer number is 1. So just change the first one ^^. But it's the best to only change the name in PET, first change everything else in trainer edit! PET has a strange problem, sometimes if you click on a trainernumber it increases by one and the first trainer gets the number 0 or such things)

ok i checked the script MT and it looks really cool to me, except for two things:
1. glalie is displayed in front of the flame, maybe that was caused by me moving the persons in advmap a bit and then back to their position...
2. when the huoshi fighters walk off the upper one walks kinda like over the mountain a bit, cause only the middle tile of thesideway stairs is walkable. you should change the movement there
and you didnt add the jumping noise when glalie attacks... im not sure if you did it in the end
well and of course the sprites have to be inserted... im still waitin for SA to finish them
oh one question: how do i change the names of traioner classes? cause i want to change team magma to huoshi fighter or sth
and i need to know the trainer id you used
if you change the script now wait for me to send you a new patch, cause i did a few changes

Okay that's an easy one to fix.
I recognized the problem with the flame but...I don't know why it's behaving like this O.o
The flame has the same movement in AM like in the first event, I think jogging in place upwards or something like that, I checked it.
and the movement when vanishing is also the same like in the first event, so I don't know why it worked in the first event but not here O.o
edit: damn why am I so stupid?
it's quite obvious why this with the flame is happening, it's exactly like u said.
you just have to move the flame over the glalie sprite in AM, it should work then...stupid mistake of mine xD

I don't think it's the numbers, but simply the problem that the flame was maybe placed as first one and the other 2 persons (glalie and piloswine) were placed above it.
edit: okay it has to be the person number, placing the flame last doesn't help xD

oh and i found a really big mistake: the camera movement is not redone xD make it come back to the hero before he moves
btw what about the pokedex? when should the player get it? maybe at the exit of the town... what do you think?
and misty should be in the house... just make her say sth like: "Guaiwan has always been a peaceful place!"

Hey.. I've checked the FoR game and saw no problems (except Red and the tree).. The event where you get the first pokemon is a level script.. the pokemart does not give you oak's parcel anymore.. and no more glitch trainers.. Glitched movement permissions thought.. a lot.. cool larvitar.. and.. WTF was that paras team doing there??? It almost pwned me >.<
@M_T If my theory about person number 5 is correct, the cut problem would be over, so you can go on with the scripting..
@neti Its 12:30 here.. I'll have to send the patch tomorrow for fixing.. to whom should I send it to? You, X, or any1 else?
And what are you guys talking about? O.o

about the event neti wanted me to do, he told me yesterday? I think the day before xD
It's finished now, and the movement is corrected.
(camera AND grunt).
There was one problem with inserting the new trainerclasses, though.
BINGGAO GRUNT has more then 12 characters, PET only supporst a maximum of 12 in trainer classes.
I tryed it out, if I use it it says
BINGGAI GRUNTCOOLTRAINER LOUIS.
not really good ^^
the others seem to work, so the char number is the problem.
and neti: in one of my posts above I wrote the trainernumber xD
It's just 1.

You don't have to insert new sounds, just change the played sound to another one.

So, I've after I've done some fixes with FoR, new problems arose.. The kid at the entrance of Hawksham doesn't battle. And no matter how I script for the man on the left of hawksham, he won't battle. I had to delete him for now and get back to him later. I would assume that the same problem will arise with scripting for the guy at the bottom.. O.o
Hmmm, I think the problem with these battles is the trainer number. For some reason, trainer number 8 (the kid) doesn't work, though it did before. I changed the trainer number, and it worked... The same for the man...

I finished the hawksham scripts, maybe M_T finished arcanine farm scripts. He will just need to insert it then.. Dunno about the gym.. I don't even know what its supposed to be like.. but maybe M_T already did that.
Updates: just editing any messages that has Cerulean, Mt. Moon, etc...
Question.. should you be able to leave sparrowdale if you haven't beaten the first gym?

okay, there's still much to do.
but why should we choose a date?
we'll just make the last things, like adjust signs, ppl, wild pokemon data etc...
and the last event, the arcanine farm.
I didn't work on it yet, because I don't have enough information (hardly anything).
So please, give me the information and I'll start making it today. I don't have to go to school tomorrow because the teachers are talking about the marks and if everything's allright etc...
so I have anough time, today, friday, saturday, sunday.
and when everything's finished, we can release the beta after betatesting.
and i'm somehow sure it'll be before August, 18 ^^

Guys, I'm almost finished with the editing of messages.. What's left? Hawksham.. the sign, gym signs (inside and outside), pokecenter (they're all talking about bill >.<), the aid who gives you flash.. DAISY (need info please)!!! and the sign beside Gary's house..

i dont really have time today cause im going to watch the soccer match between germany and portugal
it starts at 20:45 but i have to be in cologne at 18:30 already, cause there will be live music and stuff be fore the game

uhm i have some kind of mind-blocking i cant think of the event...
but i think there are not so many big scripts, its mostly just talking... and a lot of trainerbattles on the boat

There was no sprite for Solid Snake :\.. well, can't say for sure (I didn't use PET much XD)

I think he isn't inserted yet, but I'll check it.
I spent my time adjusting the trainers now and testing them again and again (I can't believe it took me so long xD).
At least all of the trainers are working now, have adjusted trainerclasses (TEAM SHADOW) and Pokemon.
Mostly Poochyena and Sneasel, but also nuzleaf. And the stronger one has umbreon, and the last one blocking the exit has mightyena and umbreon, lvl20 and 23 (can easily be adjusted).
So this is done too :D
I'll try locking the gym now.
I can't start with the arcanine farm event yet, since I have to wait for SA to come online and tell me what to do ^^

something really useful ^^
you can change a tile to another one, for example you could make a fadescreen to turn the screen black, use A LOT of setmaptiles to change the whole map, use another fadescreen and everything would look different xD
(But for changing the whole map it's abit much afford, a warp to another map would be much easier xD).
And you can also change the movement permission of the tile you change!
So, a very useful command ^^

I tried that locking thing as well.. When I look at advance map, the tile with the door is already 1 (not permissible) but I can still go through it.

'cause of the open-go-close animtation, I think.
I think we can solve it like this:
We put the white sign under the door (the only sign that fits without looking like a horriblem tile error xD) and give it a signpost script: The gym is locked\nSigned: TEAM SHADOW.
and after beating the last one we could use a setmaptile to make it a normal tile again, so u can enter the gym.
Would that be okay?

Hmm.. maybe we could create another door tile, which is not really a door.. but a wall.. (sounds like Harry Potter O.o) then setmaptiles between the real door and the wall door.

It would be useless cause 'setmaptile 0x[X-Co-ordinate] 0x[Y-Co-ordinate] 0x15B 0x1' the 0x1 will set the block unpassable even it on the warp.. I tried it and it work..

actually, I checked it and now I'm not sure if it is the bell. It could also be the song played when on the bike.

oh man, i missed a lot, i think i have to do my job now xD
well ok got a few ideas there: if you finally leave the town and go up to the arcanine farm, you stop in the middle of the route and the screens turns to the arcanine farm you see two shadow grunts who says: we have it, run away now, the guy wasn't even strong, samara would be proud. then they run away. the owner of the arcanine farm runs out of the house and scream: WAIT! please someone help! so, screen's turning back to you and you can go to the farm, the owner would tell you what happen and ask you if you help him to get back his arcanine.
so you go to the city with the harbour (i know i always forget the name...) then the screen moves again to the boat, you see the two grunts and samara next to the boat. samara says: good job, everything is ready so we could escape with the ship, we'll go in a few minutes, you follow me. she goes inside with one grunt, the other is in front of the ship. you have to go to the ship now and battle the grunt (i think it should be a grunt of the forest and he should say something like: you again? sry, but i couldn't let you pass! and then the battle)
after entering the ship you have to find samara, so you go on and have to battle a lot of grunts, if you arrive at the final room (i would say we should add a room where the player could heal his pokemon with a bed in the ship, just wanted to say this xD) samara stands there with the arcanine and says something like: stupid thing, you don't wanna do what i'm saying, i'll show you the power of team shadow! then you run between them and say: stop it (or something like that)
then she says something like: oh you again ...and so on and so on, maybe she says something about their plan, so you could write whatever you want M_T, then, again, a battle, with her poochyena and other pokemons (but remember, it should be a dark pokemon like sneasel for example) after that battle she says something like: i loosed... again? but i'm an admin of team shadow, i have to win! i'm kinda shocked that you beat me, i have to report everything to my father, but remember, you still haven't beat us! about this arcanine, take it, it would be better with you than with us, we can't even use it.. then she dissapear and you get warped in front of the farm, where the farmer thanks you and give you a riding arcanine as a present. that's all, is that ok? xD

well, i think we have some problems with the organization of our projects, exspecially FoR.
ok, maybe we should make a list, what we have to do till the beta, so we could do a faster progress:
Scripts: The arcanine farm script; the gym script (anything else?)
Maps: the gym (i dunno, is it already done?)
Sprites: Team Shadow Grunts
Inserting: Sprite of Snake, Ow of Snake, Team Shadow Grunts, the map of the ship (what else?)
EDIT: Wild Pokemon Header: All pokemons should be choose.
ok who has to make what? i would say, i need X-buster to insert my snake sprite, it has the palette of brock, the ow could be inserted by me and the ship map could be inserted by neti, the scripts could be made and inserted by adiktus and M_T, pls write who gets the patch
ok so we have a list, the one who has the newiest patch sent it pls to neti for inserting the shipmap, then to me for inserting the OW then to X-buster for inserting the Sprites after that i think the script would be done so we send it to M_T and adiktus, after this is done, we make the patch on the SHQ and send it to our beta testers, and then is the release, did i forget something?

Send it to M_T first to add more scripts (my bit would be the last.. level script XD).. Yeah, we need organization.. Uhh..., so Zetka created a patch with the ship map, but without the arcanine farm scripts... M_T may have modified the patch without the ship map, and added the scripts O.o..
EDIT: hmmm... I guess the patch is with M_T, making scripts... then he should send the patchm and Zetka, the map, to Neti (insert the map and wild pokemon).. or zetka could insert the map himself.. then, the patch should be sent to SA to insert some sprites, then to X-buster to insert the others, then back to M_T to insert other scripts, then to me to insert the level script. XD

Uhh.. the LoF patch... the room is still glitched.. Can't get out of it >.< so I can't test the script.. I looked at it in amap, there was an error.. error 5 $xxxxxx is not a pointer, blablabla...
What do you guys want the music to be? I was gonna put the one in Lavender.

kay guys, ZetKa got the patch.
What's new?
I adjusted all of the trainerbattles in Hawksham, they're working perfectly fine. All of them are TEAM SHADOWS trainerclass inbattle, and they use dark pokemon.
So, now you leave the town downwards...you are stopped by an activating script, the camera moves to the left to the arcanine farm.
There are a male and a femal (yeah..time for a female grunt. the others were all male xD) grunt.
They say:
Okay, we've got it. he wasn't even strong. Samara will be proud.
Than they run out of the screen and vanish.
A man appeares in the "door" (actually, it's not really a door xD) and says:
Wait! Please, somone has to help me!
The screen goes back to you...
you can now goto the man.
If you talk to him, he says: Oh, you are a trainer!
Did you see those guys running away? They are TEAM SHADOW GRUNTS, and they stole my beloved ARCANINE. Could you please take it back for me?
Yes/No
If you click yes: Really? Thank you! I'll be waiting right here.
if no: I'll even reward you. Pls help me!

then the script continous to yes.
if you talk to him a second time, he says:

I'm sorry it took so long, it's not easy to make the camera movement allright since you dunno how much tiles it has to move O.o
The scripts stopping you to go upwards again or to port bydale before talking to the man will be done later, I wanted to give the patch to ZetKa as fast as possible so X-Buster will get the patch faster (yes I know, first neti and sa. but all in all, now he'll get it earlier ^^) since he is in another time zone and it would be great if the event could be finished today ^^
If you don't like anything of the event I wrote above, I can change it.

I would have been faster, but..there are two triggers for the same event, just with changed movements. So I wanted to do it with one main script with setvar and the little script with setvar again to save space.
The main script worked, but the little script was messed up (though it was done allright, for sure. I don't do anything wrong within 4 lines xD).
maybe it was the variable number, anyway...I was to lazy to use another one and made the script a second time, everything's working now xD

He will insert maps, then neti will get the patch, then SA and X-Buster for sprite inserting.
And then I'll get the patch, script the rest of the arcanine event (the battles on the boat etc...) end the last part, the event in the arcanine farm when you get the arcanine.
it has to be a lvl script, so I'll send u the script and the patch then ^^
But, I dunno how far the others are with inserting so we don't have anything to do at the moment ^^
that was the reasen for me hacking the textbox xD

I shouldn't answer you because you sound really retarded, but it's connections. There's two maps there.
But I dunno how to make a script that deactivates this when u have an item O.o
yeah of course, it's checkitem, but I dunno which commands deactivates the infinity. Maybe it's simple setmaptiling.
a script at the entrance checks if you have the item, and if you have it it changes the tiles of the upper map.
But I''m not sure if it's right, better wait for adiktus and his thoughts ^^

btw at the north exit of hawksham theres a cut tree right? and youll get cut from the gym leade rin port bydale... so there should be a person standing in front of the gym saying: "Go save the arcanine" until you did it. after that he should say "You reached the end of the Beta Version. I hope you had fun!"

you can easily deactivate the script, either by just deleting it in AM in the header view or by looking at the variable and value and setting another value so AM thinks it has been activated.

i have a starnge problem in LoF: ive just sent a pre beta to all the 3 of ym beta testers and 2 of them already told me that there are no events on the start map, so they cant leave it. but when i try it here with a clean rom it works... whyy does it only work for me?
they are using the same version of the game (BPRE)

Hmm... I think.. there are two rooms like that.. one with connections to itself, and the other with correct connections.. the script tile before that room (before warping)... checks for the item.. and warps you to one depending on the item...
Or.. there are script tiles in that room that moves the player's sprite some 10 blocks down XD
EDIT: to make it short... to me, there are two sets of two rooms... the last warp is a script tile that warps you to one set of two rooms, depending if you have the item.. if you don't, you get warped to a room, connected to the hallway that has connections to itself.. if you do, you get warped to a room, connected to the hallway with other connections.. O.o (I guess it's not really short.. I meant to make it clear XD)

how come when i lose in a battle i start in my home and not at the pkcenter of shengu where ive already been?
btw i rose the level of the quilava in the second event to 10, since 7 was very low... that was only hard if you beat only the two trainers that were necessary to cross the route 1 and caught no other pokemon...

@neti.. please open amap and view map 8.0, then header.. On the map script (non-prof header view, script 0) you'll find the offset 0x16B0FA or something similar.. go to that offset in a hex editor, and you'll see FF FF FF FF.. change those values to 9F 05 00 FF.. Now, in theory, you should return to Shengu PC when you white out.
EDIT: I forgot to add 02 >.< Without it, the script won't end... so its supposed to be 9F 05 00 02

ok, guys, i've done this now:
- inserting OW of your new Rival (i don't know which person in the genesis gave will be the rival, but for the one who know it, this ow replace bill, so pls change the sprite in AM to the new one)
- inserting OW of Snake
- inserting OW of the Grunts (male and female)
ok, now i have to send it to X-Buster, thing that should be inserted are:
- Battle Sprite of snake with the palette of Brock
- Battle Sprite of Team Shadow Grunt male and female
- Battle Sprite of the Rival
i think that's all for now, so X, if you're around i'm in Aim now

When I enter the town, the borders change and I can't get back to route 1 or continue to the next route...
Maybe it's the problems with the roms (dunno really)... Do you use a 1.0 or 1.1 FR rom? I can't remember mine but I think mine's a 1.1....

edit: border tiles and connections of route 2 and binggao city are deleted as well... lol how did that happen?
edit: fixed everything again, but not the connections of binggao city... its so bugged, it says sth about connection number -6 xD

Okay, I just got the patch from X.
The first farm events (you are stopped, grunts run away, you talk to the man in front of the farm) was inserted before you got the patch.
I originally planned playing through the whole game to search for glitches and bugs first, but I think it would take too long so I'll just start making the scripts on the boat and the one where you get arcanine.
(Maybe you read it before, I wasn't here yesterday so I didn't do anything xD)
and neti: I think just the first 4, but since you already sent the patch (I think) that doesn't matter now xD

@neti when you go to that offset you start in the middle of those FF's.. And from where you start,
there are four FF's.. you change those values.. (in short, the last four)
Guys, actually, I just noticed the script where you run to the house when you white out.. mum still says something about prof. Oak XD.. It's not really probable but it is possible that you white out even before reaching shengu.. so... should we change mum's words? XD
BTW once you reach shengu and don't enter your house or another pokecenter, you return to shengu pc when you white out... ^^

actually, it's working and the movements should be correct now (have to try it).
But I was wondering if it's enough that there are only 3 persons except for Juan standing aroung the statue.
I wanted to use fadescreen on and the movesprites to move all the others around the statue, also the player, and then fadescreen 0 to let the screen reappeare.
It would have looked like it was some time later now, but..the screen didn't turn back again and movesprite never worked for me.
so there are only three persons, is that okay or should I move the other persons to the statue too?

I really would love to know how to script with asm, but this one was minimalistic made with the shiny hack macker v2.
You open the programm, open a rom, click "edit shiny routine" and simply make a script using the callasm command to call the asm function, and another time to de-activate the shiny hack so not all pokemon are shiny.
so scripts with shinies aren't that hard.
I wanted to try it with asm myself...but the debugger didn't work -.-'

Btw, sry that the event takes me so long, there were problems because of the new inserted persons and the additional/changed movements.
it works now, I only have to patch a clean rom and adjust everything so it's the same like in my patch (could take some time, many persons which need to stand on specific places with specific person numbers and have specific IDs xD).
But the script itself is allright.

@team regarding LoF
M_T and I are stucked with the event.. the only problem remaining is Juan's mysterious desire to face away immediately before the battle O.o.. There is no command on the script that should make him want to face away :(
There is nothing wrong with the script so maybe the problem is somewhere in amap... We will try to fix this but if anyone has info on this, please say something...
regarding FoR
M_T has the same problem with a grunt.. (facing away before battle) but he say's he'll be able to fix that..
About the female arcanine sprite.. no idea XD

his movement in amap is always "look right" but he looks left..but the battle is to his right XD

btw @XBuster: in the rombase im making i was going to use some tiles from your super DP rombase, is that OK? maybe ill base mine on yours, i mean take yours and just add other tilesets, if youre ok with it

I feel really bad cause there's not only the headache but I also feel really dizzy...

im kinda tired atm cause of the soccer match yesterday (btw germany won, now theres only 1 game to play left against spain or russia... i hope its spain, i like them more xD)
i watched the match at a public viewing place at a lake and after the match we all just jumped into the lake with our clothes on and went swimming xD and after that i went partying on the streets, so all in all i came home at about midnight being really exhausted xD

kay got the patch and continue with the event tomorrow.
And yeah, we could insert both if we want to: one as normal textbox and one as signpost box (which can be used in a script, with a command you can switch between signpost and normal ^^).
If I can insert it instead of the normal signpost it could be both inside.
I'll make that tomorrow too ^^
And my headache is getting better :)
