favorite music genre?

simple as the title reads favorite "music genre?"

for me its a tie between rap and rock but since ive been listening to rock lately ill go rock.

Classical is probably my very favorite, actually. I have several CDs full of instrumental music that I listen to all the time. Others on my list include oldies, rock, (J-)pop, and dance. Usually anything that sounds happy. :D

Agreed, Classical is my top favorite as well.

Though I listen to music basically on my mood, so I can go from Jazz to Rock to PopOh, yay. XD I figured I'd be the only one to mention that kind of music around here. What I listen to also depends on my mood, but since I'm usually more laid back, classical is more my style.

I'm not sure what 'comedy' music is, but whatever.I think that applies to artists such as Weird Al Yankovic, who often parody specific songs (like the one he recorded called White & Nerdy, which is based off of the rap song Ridin'... he just does it for laughs).

an example for indie would be Modest Mouse (I think) but I know for sure that The Arctic Monkeys are indie, and my vote is just rock, my next vote would be reggae, but you don't have it on there :/

Im gonna be picky and say that the genre of rock is far too general. I love metal and classic rock but hate emo music and the like. The same goes for dance, because dance varieties such as D&B are varied enough to be their own category.
