The move Covet steals the item the opponent is holding.... does anyone know what happens if you're holding an item? Is it essentially the same move as switcheroo? Or does the opponents item just dissapear?

I found out it only works if the user isn't holding an item. Well, so much for that.

To finish the questions, Covet and Thief hit and steal the item. Switcheroo and Trick trade items between Pokémon.
