My foster carer has just got a bill, and it seems that I have been linking up to other PCs, far away from where I live, apparantly, dialing different numbers (don't know how the feck I do that) and it says a load of cr00p about ''EMSAT'' and ''SEAMTOOL'' <== not the exact word, I haven't got the sheet to find out the correct spelling)

The times I go on the internet is a free of charge time(s) and the bill is a lot o.O

and I have to pay 80 of it.

I don't even understand!!!!!!!!! plz, someone explain this to me, the only dialup connection I have to the interent is through SafeMail dialup.

I'm not made of money ;_;

You've probably ended up with a malicious porn dialer, that activates when the computer has been idle for a little while.
Irnically, you're paying for the time you're NOT on the PC.
Get Ad Aware, or something similiar, and blast that mofo.

Hmm... do you have any of the two programs, SafeMail or SafeSystem installed on your computer?

IceKitten

It is SafeMail that's installed onto the comp, don't know about SafeSystem

Okay Tig, you're not going to believe this (well actually you will... =P)

Though there is still the possibility that it's spyware or adware on your system, SafeNet appears to be an internet service that supposedly blocks out 'adult content' and 'bad download links' to create a 'safer internet experience' for 'children'.

Here's the address:

http://www.pacsis.co.uk/Safenet/

Does this look familiar at all to you Tig?

Yep, only to the children in care, in my area, I thought u was going to tell me how to stop it without it ruining my internet connection? =p

I don't quite understand... who is your ISP? Is it SafeMail? Are they an internet service? I think you'll have to take it up with them if they're blocking downloads at your expense.

I sent them an e-mail before asking for the message boards I used to go on but I got no reply, I doubt they'll reply if I ask them them to allow me to download things AND open them *misses MSNM and AIM*
