So, like, I don't feel like posting EVs right now, because I've forgotten most of them, so they'll just be the standard EV sets for the respected Pokemon.
Scizor (CB Set)
Nature: Adamant
U-Turn
Quick Attack
Pursuit
Iron Head
So yeah, basically the fact that I hate Cresselia should sum this one up for you...
Gliscor (Standard Wall EVs, 6 attack Evs)
Nature: Impish
Earthquake
Knock Off
Roost
Stealth Rock
This is a great wall, and it covers my PhysicalApe weakness, unless Donphan doesn't take care of it first.
Donphan (CB Set)
Nature: Adamant
Earthquake
Fire Fang
Ice Shard
Stone Edge
This thing is awesome. Most people don't expect a Fire Fang to the face, so they happily switch in a Skarmory, only to get burned by surprise, and it definatly changes their mind about being able to wall this baby.
Slowking@leftovers
212 HP / 44 Sp.A / 252 Sp.D
Calm nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam / Hidden Power Electric
- Thunder Wave
- Slack Off
Set curtosy of Dark_Azelf. Never used it before but he says it's good, and I believe him. Access to a 1 turn recovery makes it better than Tentacruel in a big way. I'm stuck between Ice Beam and HP Electric though, Ice Beam lets me switch into Salamence with no problem, but HP Electric does the same for Gyarados. What to do....
Mismagius (CM Set)
Ability: Timid
HP Fighting
Calm Mind
Substitute
Shadow Ball
So yeah, this kills Blissey unless it's a CM one. Hurts other things a lot as well.
Perisan (Standard Nasty Plot set)
Nature: Timid
Hypnosis
Nasty Plot
Water Pulse
Swift
I don't care what you say, the other day this thing killed a Salamence, then a Milotic, then a Bronzong, all in the same battle ._.
So yeah, that's the team I'm currently using, and I personally think it pwns, a lot.... Although, I guess a little help would be necessary seeing as how I usually get taken down by Vaporeon with Toxic and Protect.

Donphan and Gliscor don't really go well together >.>
Really though, the general lack of a special wall means Azelf, Raikou, and pretty much all special sweepers can run through this team (besides Heatran and the very few Tenta manages to wall). Replace Domphan or Gliscor for a sturdy special wall.

Um, well, why would I replace one of my physical sweepers with a Special Wall? It just doesn't make sense to me for some reason... :P

Tentacruel (Standard wall set)
Nature: Calm
Toxic Spikes
Surf
Rapid Spin
Ice Beam
This thing hurts SpecsMence like it's his job. Toxic Spikes prevents my team from getting murdered by Vaporeon, although I know I shouldn't rely on this pokemon only to do it. But each team has a few Pokemon that hurt it pretty bad.
Mismagius (CM Set)

Yeah, movesets are alright, but Weavile w/ Ice Punch, Night Slash and Brick Break + Magnezone w/ Thunderbolt, Magnet Rise and HP Fire can murder all your team except Donphan. And Donphan, if it enters in the battle switching into Weavile's Ice Punch, next turn hje'll be in serious danger. I think you should consider a more defensive Donphan or a Hippowdon, to hold on at hits from Weavile and to absolutely render Magnezone useless. This team doesn't enjoy Max speed Azelf at all. A Blissey >> Mismagius would only do good here. A Scarfer like Gengar would be useful here. A mix sweeper like Ape rapes your Weavizone weakness all alone.

What the hell? Donphan and Gliscor are not Physical Sweepers.

Donphan is acting as one for his team
But, standard : - HP ICE/Thunderbolt /Sub/Magnet Rise Magnezone really likes your team and will use Scizor as set up fodder. Unless you constantly use U-Turn =/. Consider Brick Break on there, preferably >> Quick Attack...
Go 252 hp / 188 def / 72 speed on Gliscor, lets you outspeed Jolly max speed t-tar (Who can Pack Ice Beam, which ohko's Gliscor and 2hkos Donphan with a Life Orb, even with jolly Nature), Adamant Breloom and Timid Magnezone.
Id also give Gliscor another attack move, Aerial Ace preferably , or you will loose to Flame Orb Swords Dance Heracross, which for some reason seems to be common now =[..thanks to Flame Orb, Heracross has a deadly new weapon in Facade, which OHKOs bulky Gyarados (with Intimidate factored in), Gliscor, and Weezing. Hippowdon, Bronzong, and Skarmory are OHKOed by Close Combat after a Swords Dance, and every single Psychic-type in the game is OHKOed by Megahorn.
But yeah, you need a better sp.wall, or stupidly powerful stuff like Porygon-z and Azelf just go straight through you.

How would 40 HP / 252 Def / 216 SpD Calm Nature Blissey fare?

I do NOT want a Blissey. Period.

Fine. Snorlax still fares, however, I guess...
Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 72 Atk / 252 SpD / 200 HP
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Body Slam
- Earthquake.

It's funny how you think you can decide my Pokemon without my consent.... I don't want the most OU Pokemon that exist, as you can probably tell from my team.
I was thinking of replacing Tentacruel with a Sp. Wall, although I then loose my Rapid Spinning and Toxic Spiking capabilities.

It's still mostly an OU Team.

I'm already in a bad mood, Nameless. Being sarcastic Isn't going to help that. For the love of God, I know Tentacruel's OU. And I was saying most of the team is OU. Jeez... Scizor's OU. Donphan's OU. Gliscor's OU. End of discussion. Go there for proof. (http://pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=118170)

Um, you pretend I'm a nOOb, and don't even hear my opinion before trying to "prove" yourself. I'm saying I don't want Pokemon that I'm going to see in every battle I go into. I hardly ever see Tentacruel, which is why I don't want to use Blissey, because almost everyone else uses it. I want to keep Gliscor because I usually see Skarmory, not Gliscor... Same goes for CBDonphan, I don't think I've ever battled one before. Also, most people use a BP set or a SD set of Scizor, of course the fact that I hate Cresselia makes me want to keep that thing.
So yeah, Please don't insult my intelligence like I'm some kind of nOOb, I do know what I'm talking about.

Empoleon is a pretty cool sp.wall, as is Slowking.
Both are underrated imo, Slowking can survive 2 consecutive Draco Meteor from S.Mence and Slack off all the damage, Empoleon can Roar to PHaze again, a great sp.wall.
If you still want spinning, you could put it on the CB donphan as a sort of makeshift spinner.
Sup to you, ill try and think of some other sp.walls that ive used that are decent and not "zomfg OOU!!" otherwise.

How am I saying you're a "N00b"? If it seems like it, then I'm not trying to. And of course I read your opinion, A pokemon's usage DOESN'T make it OU. I'm not insulting your intelligence. Jeez...

I like the sound of Slowking, would you happen to have a Sp. Wall set for it? And I'll probably get RS on my Donphan an replace Stone Edge. I honeslty never use it.

If I'm one calling for stopping this trivial argument you know the world is doomed. but Itachi, usage actually DOES decide if a pokemon is OU >.>
But in all seriousness, a lot more things than Blissey and Snorlax can run a special wall set very well. Regice and Articuno are both tremendous choices, and Tentacruel and Regice actually work very well together.
UU psychics like Hypno and Grumpig also can hold their own very well in Standard play, I would try them out. Azelf mentioned most others. Also, Registeel, while inferior to Regice for the sole purpose of special wallling (and most options listed for that matter) has a ton of resistances and can take both physical and special hits, definately something to consider.
I like slowking, but Weavile WILL beat it, so I suggest giving it a little backup. Then again, I like all of my teams to be defensively uber and offensively retarded, so that's your call (like everything else of course).
Just throwing stuff out there. I honestly think Mismagius is a total dead weight here. Persian basically accomplishes what Missy does, only Weavile isn't a guaranteed KO. I'm no Persian expert, so correct me if I'm wrong.
Still, you don't need both really.
Ooka

Tell that to desolation, who lost 4 of his Pokemon to Mismagius, and 2 of them to Persian. Reason I use both is Mismagius and Persian work well together. Here is an example:
Mismagius is out, so is Gengar. I have a sub, Gengar uses Shadow Ball first, killing my sub, I hit it with Shadow Ball and get it to a focus sash. I then switch to Persian, which is faster than Gengar, and it takes a Shadow Ball, with no damage obviously. Then outspeeds it to Waterpulse ftw. I know I shouldn't use 2 Pokemon to counter 1, but they do have other uses as well.

Too situational really, you have much bigger fish to fry. Remember, Gengar is quite diverse and it can blow by both if it is played right. Don't count on them always winning.
I'm not bashing them as sweepers, but having them both really isn't necessary. I'm sure they've both been helpful together in certain situations, but again there are much more dangerous (not to mention common) situations that should come first.
Ooka
April 6th, 2008, 04:18 AM
I understand your concern, but believe me, they pwn together. I'm not worried about either being dead weight because the other is around, so no worries there. I'm mainly focused around getting rid of Gliscor.

Nice mix tier team in my opinion. The Mismag/Persian combo is a first to me (and I highly respect your unique choices.) Slowking is also a rare sight (usually it's Slowbro), and doubles as being useful in TR matches.
I've always wanted to run Glis as a physical wall; pop in water and Ice resistant pokemon (like Slowking), and there you go.
The fact that Persian can pull a non-hax Hypnosis/Nasty Plot is awesome. Also, you could go Shadow Ball/HP Fighting if you wanted 100% coverage.
I'm not great with criticism, but I will say that it's pretty unique to run a team like this.
