Have you ever considered donating towards PokeCommunity?

I have, infact I will today. I have 20 dollars that I wont need at all. So I am donating 20 dollars sometime soon. I will also donate around Christmas time. ^_^

Is this not allowed? Someone told me they are 99% sure it will be closed.

I don't see much point in parting with money for the sole purpose of couple of ego-boosting pixels on a site that doesn't have any significant impact on my life. I'm not a miser.. I just think it's pointless and think donations could actually go to a somewhat more worthwhile cause.

Anyway, when I start making some money of my own I'll definitely donate to PC. It's my "home" on the Internet, and if sparing some extra money means keeping the bills paid and keeping PC online, of course I'd do it.

I have sort of considered it in the past, and I always thought that it would have been cool to have a green username. At least I think that it was green before. It's just that I was too scared to ask my parents, even though I would have payed back and everything.

Now, I don't think I'll ever donate. I doubt that my parents would approve in any way, plus, as Nica said, I could leave PC. I have left before (without telling anyone, and I still feel horrible about that ;-;), and it was only through sheer boredom (after six months or something) that I came back. Though, maybe if I get a credit card, and I'm still active in PC, I might donate or something.

You can use PayPal with a debit card. My mom does all the time. You just have to have money in your account or the card is declined. Unlike a credit card where you need no money at all. And how would using PayPal make you loose money? Im curious and scared at the thought at the same time. o.o; Sorry if I sound "bratty".

I've been here what? Joined at the end of January, so three/four months.

My first day here I visited the donation thread, yadayada. Being a boastful newb, saying oh I'm going to break the top amount of donation. Heck I even annoyd a Staff Admin (Animadversion) asking about the top donation. (what a great first impression) Anyways, in that thread I was taught something, about how to make a name for myself instead of just donating, as I thought donating would make a name for myself. Anyways, I havn't donated yet, and I expect too quite soon.

I have to go to the bank and cash some checks and mail my donations.

Here at PC, I'm an extremely fortunate member, sheesh I'm pretty popular too. xD Anyways, from day one I've loved this forum and wanted to donate. And hopefully get it in soon.

PC Support "purple people" get plenty of benefits, and I feel due to my already short history here that I'd donate even if they didn't have any reward to them.

So yeah, I'll be donating soon enough. ;D I think my mother would be fine with me donating... It's my hard earned money after all so I'll be donating wether she supports or doesn't support me in it. Hopefully. :x

Paypals one of teh safest way to pay over teh web. As well as it being guaranteed for money to reach one destination, disputes can be solved via Paypal mods and they can refund money if the other person is being stubborn/ lying.
