So, it may be a bit of an odd question to put out here, but... anyone grow anything? Anyone raise any vegetables? Fruits? Flowers? Herbs? Banzai trees? Cacti? ...Rocks? Anyone watered their grandma's flowers before? Entered a state fair and won biggest pumpkin or something? Planted a tree on arbor day? Anyone a carnivorous plant fan such as I :D? Or does everything you touch die D:? Does anyone even care about gardening any more?

I'm all giddy because I bought another Nepenthes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nepenthes) today. I'm not sure of the exact species/hybrid because whatever company that decided to sell plants completely enclosed in plastic cubes is stupid and won't tell me, but it has much bigger pitchers than the one I had last year and the pitchers are all speckly and nice. :] I bought a strawberry growing kit too. I'm quite a novice gardener, but it's something I'm getting into.

Nope, my backyard is a wild jungle. But that nepenthes looks pretty cool.

I grow flowers and herbs; fruits and vegetables in the summer too so I don't have to eat what my parents make;). I've been doing it for a couple years now too and I'm always getting more flowers to add to my garden.

Nope. No plants interest me. Why grow a tree when you can climb one, after all? Ahaha.

Ha. Yeah. I don't grow trees either when I've got a few out front with the rest of my garden.

I love gardening! But since I live in an apartment and don't have much room to work with, I usually stick with potted plants. XD; My favorite kind to grow are flowers, especially hibiscus, because... they're pretty, I guess? My mom prefers to work with vegetables and fruit, while my grandmother's all over the place with her garden. She's always had the green thumb in my family.

Oh, and I'd love to have a Venus Flytrap. My grandparents did a long time ago, and it was awesooome. :D I used to stare at it all the time.

I don't currently do any gardening, but as soon as I get an apartment that gets sunlight in a window I'll probably try to grow some stuff like cilantro, rosemary and other herbs.

I grow black raspberries in my backyard, they seem to spread quickly. Black Raspberries are very delicious so that's why I grow them. I also have a strawberry and pink grape plant.

I don't grow anything, but my dad grows fruit trees and flowers, he loves gardening because he use to work for Sydney Botanical Gardens.

But he planted the fruit trees outside our fence, so people come and steal our fruit. ;<

I don't grow anything but I cut the lawn and pull out weeds for my mum. My mum does all the planting flowers and looking after them.

We have a chili tree in our backyard which has delicious chilies. I take care of it, it's not hard. Like water it every third day or something, result = chilies that are the perfect balance between sharpness and sweetness. <3 Lovely.

Nothing now, Mom does all the gardening. I remember that I grew an apple tree when I was eleven, but I left for a week, leaving it in my Grandma's hands, and when I came back it was dead. D:

My father grows a few vegetables in a patch he made... If I get a place with a garden of its own, sometime, I may do the same.

What I seek from it though is simply food, not the pleasure of gardening. However, I once read there's some kind of fulfillment people gain from raising things...
