Pokemon Orchestral Arrangement is a project founded and lead by me that mixes and "reorchestrates" music from the Pokemon series. Our goal is to make mixes of the Pokemon video game music so that they may be heard the way we feel it was meant to be heard.

Pokemon Orchestral Arrangement was originally founded by me in October, 2007. It was partially inspired by the similar Zelda Reorchestrated group. Soon word had caught on in their forums as I posted my work there, and after a short time, a team had built and POA had grown into a full fledged mixing project.

We start with MIDIs from various (credited) sources, and we mix them and "reorchestrate" them with realistic Instrument Audio Samples of various types.

This seriously reminds me of Project: ReMix for the Final Fantasy series, which is a good thing to be compared to.

I listened to a few of the songs, and I have to say that I'm glad that you, and the others, are doing this project. Listening to these old songs in a new way bring back some memories for me. ^^

What can I say? As the videogame music fanatic I am, I can only say: fantastic work.
I have saved most of it for a playlist. It's a very nice mixture between the originals and a remix touch. The "Goldenrod City theme" by AntiRellik is specially genius. I'm looking forward to hearing more of this.

I was impressed with the bicycle theme from D/P, and Mt. Chimney cause they're two of my favorite songs from the games, ESPECIALLY Mt. Chimney. I really liked Tori's version of Route 27 too, it sounds so official, something that you'd hear on a GameCube game XD

Of course, a recording of a real orchestra playing these reorchestrations would be the best we can get - but these mp3s are getting there!

I am Ivar, and I compose the music for Pokémon Acanthite, the project led by Fangking. I work with Sibelius 5... would it be allowed for me if I wanted to try a reorchestration too? Just asking, I might want to give it a try when I find the time.

You guys rock! These arrangements are very well done. I find myself listening to them over and over again (particularly Tori's Route 27 and the Suicune Battle Theme). They are way better than the ones that have been orchestrated for Coloseum and XD.

Though you already know I'm behind you 100% on this, I should post here. I really can't describe how incredible this project is. It's just...... incredible. Seriously, excellent work. I love Cynthia's theme, and many many various others, I love the RSE remixes as well. Gosh Moosh, this thread is like.... over the line in excellence. Mt. Chimney is great too by the way.

The strings chorus in this Azalea Town is magnificent. Smooth relaxing beat throughout and really does hit the right kind of mood. Seeing as Azalea town is the "bug" city so to say, I would say it matches well. Again, strings is amazing in this.

Also, on Christie's Surf request, that one was also well done, would have been excellent to have playing for the hours upon hours in Hoenn's ocean.

And other upbeat songs, such as Archie, Lance, & Wallace. Gosh, they gave me a pump where I want to go build a team. xD Really good music, those are some of my favorites.

I look forward to seeing you update Kyogre's theme, that was too good. :D
