Trademarks for "Sky Form" (スカイフォルム) and "Land Form" (ランドフォルム) have been found in the Pokémon-related area of the Industrial Property Digital Library. Registered six days after "Origin Form" (オリジンフォルム) and "Another Form" (アナザーフォルム), known to be versions of Giratina (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Giratina_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29), it seems that one or both of these forms may be the "New Pokémon" described in several merchandise fliers.
"Origin Form" and "Another Form" were registered by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures on Feb. 14. On Feb. 20, a private individual associated with Pokémon in Japan registered "Sky Form" and "Land Form," according to All About Pokemon Figure and blue skY.
It is highly probable that "Sky Form" is an alternate version of Shaymin (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shaymin_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29), whereas "Land Form" is synonymous with the regular Pokémon (much like "Normal Form" stands for the first-to-be-revealed Deoxys (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Deoxys_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29)).
It simply states that Giratina and Shaymin's new forms are trademarked by Pokemon, giving more proof that Shaymin is the one with the new form.

There will probably be another form for shaymin in the 11th movie (as girantina aready has one confirmed)

Yep as the title says the sky boquet or something like that. Duuuh!
EDIT: Movie 11 is Giratina and the sky bouquet. Bouquet=flowers so sky form=shayamin form 2. Answered that simply didnt I?

i dont really like this idea very much, i mean i like shaymin how it is lol. the new form of giratina looks awesome though.
i dont like the idea of a "sky" form of a cute lil grass pokemon though, just seems a bit of a strange idea to me. but i trust thier judgement and hopefully it will come out good

not likely, what is more likely is that when you trade them into your currant game they change "form" into the one in our game.

yea i guess, but also deoxys can change forms in d/p to any one of the previously known forms.
i wonder in gen 5 whether we will be able to do a similar thing for shaymin and giratina, like something in the new generation that will enable us to change thier forms into whatever we choose

Nope, even if the new forms do make their way onto the games (Which in itself isnt likely) then it will be exclusive to the thrid game. If it was possible on DP the coding would have been hacked already.

The new forms are definately not in D/P, but they will almost definately be in future games. Since the third D/P is likely to feature Giratina (Likely, not definately), that's probably when we'll see the alternate Giratina.

Yeah, but what I meant was that it will be impossible to get on any current game, since it has to be encoded in from the start. So we can get it on the next game (Whatever it is) but not on diamond or pearl.

It pretty much said what I'd said first tbh. Since One-winged didnt see either I thought I'd tell him directly. I wasnt doubting anything you'd said, I was just replying to his post as he may not have read anything previously stated.

Perhaps in the 3rd D/P Shaymin will be built into the storyline. That's what Nintendo needs to start doing, instead of having random legends for the purpose of having something to catch, have all the legends related in some way so the story becomes interesting.

That doesn't mean it can't have a place in the story. Maybe it won't happen, but it's a possibility.
having to go to toys-r-us to get a legend just for the heck of going to an island and catching it is boring.
I wanna go to some dark zone and catch darkrai, not take a BOAT there.

Interesting. I'll reiterate my original theory on this, which I guessed when those Pens were seen on Serebii: I think the two new forms will be used in Opal (the third version). When you trade them back to D/P, they will be in their first forms, similar to Deoxys in the 3rd Gen. And I also think that, if there is to be a G/S remake, the white rock found in Kanto will be used to change Shaymin's form in that game. Possibly something in Ecruteak City for Giratina.

You sure about that? Hmm, that's odd. Either way, its a game aimed at ages 3+, they arent going to bother making the plot entirely logical. Its like asking why the trainers in the game never go to bed- it doesnt matter.

perhaps Shaymin & Giratina's new forms could be added into it via the patch! O_O
or it could be the pseudo-deoxys/3rdgame thing too.......

No patch has been announced. All the major sites and magezine would have been crawling over it. Like the opal threads, all that post is going to do is get people excited over nothing.

and then if some ppl have the patch, and the others dont
the games wouldnt be able to work together since there are different pokemon
and it wouldnt be fair
unless they send a patch out via nintendo wi-fi.. hmm
