so far no luck...but i have found a pokemon blue hack called pokemon white. I'm not sure if its complete so i'll have to try it out. And diamond/jade was just a hacked pokemon game based completely off of a game called telefang which was sent and produced by a bunch of pirates from across the sea hoping to make it famous.
so your probably right since it wasn't supposed to be a pokemon hack in the first place.

This is a good idea for a thread! (by the way... Pokemon Diamond/Jade, they made me laugh with the bad translations, and they're very buggy, I wouldn't mind seeing a decent translation of either Keitai Denjuu Telefang version for GB though, I'd be able to play it better).

Maybe anyone knows of Non-English Text Pokemon hacks???, they can still be reasonably fun to play... I played a German Gold hack called Midnight, it's great, I just don't understand the text :laugh:...

so far the only goldsky i could find is a site in spanish format.

Hey, yeah, Pokemon Orange, of course! It's one of the first Pokemon hacks I've played along with Brown! I wonder how many years ago it was? :)

I dont think I have it around, but at least I remember it (I never finished it, though, but I think it was completed)

Let's hope this thread doesnt get forgotten as the last similar one which was done more than a year ago, but that would depend on how many people finishes their hacks :P

we are trying to find complete hacks, all 8 badges and the league, and possibly getting permission from the creators to distribute ips patches of their games here.

Well, Pokemon Chaos Black (listed as just black above) is complete. I have the ROM, but i only know how to patch the .ips files, not un-patch em. So if someone could tell me how to separate the patch from the ROM i could upload it and the title screen. Of course i'm not sure on the permission from the maker or whatever though.

Pokemon Chaos Black was being made by Mewthree Inc, I don't think it's quite finished.
But to make a IPS patch, open Lunar IPS, select a original Fire Red ROM (that's what Chaos Black is a hack of), then select the Chaos Black ROM.

Then save the patch as Pokemon Chaos Black (Fire Red Hack).ips
or something similar.

you dont have to start again, you can load the save file into the new version :)

Well alot of people who were back then started college and eventually would have had to put there rom hacking off, just like I had too.
Back then Rom you wouldnt get hacker's as young as they are now.

Now but then again it was better that more responsible people did hacking cause basically now with the 10 year olds hackin you only get gay threads with go to all regions or catch all pokemon or this and that. Ye quality might be better now but heck you want something done it has to be done by someone right for it.
