I came up with this idea and thought I'd ask everyone about it. Where do you see yourself in the future? What are your dreams, hopes, and aspirations? Where do you see yourself in the next 10, 20, or 30 years? What do you see yourself doing a few years from now? I honestly thougt of this all of today, and wanted to see what other people had to say.

I...don't really know what I see myself as in a decade or two from now. I mean, I have so many career interests and stuff, it's really...confusing. x_x

I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm still young and naive, so I have an excuse for not knowing where I'll end up ^^;

I want to go to University, major in Recording Engineering, and open up my own recording studio. That's my dream n_n

I'm pretty sure that I want to go into a career in music. In ten years, I will have gotten my BA in Music Performance, and I hope that will take me somewhere.

And if it doesn't, I'm screwed: I'm not really good at anything else.

And I will be your producer, Cassidy xD
I'll make you famous. And even if it doesn't work out? Well...I'll make it work. :3

I see myself as an author or computer programmer, maybe an actress but the chances of that are quite low >.>;; I at least hope to be something that suits me well.

Ten years (25 years old): I should be one/two years out of university, a bachelor of laws and commerce under my belt, working as a corporate lawyer.

Twenty years (35 years old): I see myself having moved overseas by this point (unless New Zealand suddenly becomes a great place for fat paychecks), and I want to be earning a high salary.

Thirty years (45 years old): By this point I want to have paid off my mortgage and own my home. I'd also like to have taken some time off work to get a doctorate in law (either in the form of PhD or LLD, depends on the university I take it at, really).

Forty years (55 years old): I'd like to have published a book by this point, and to have a good saving for my retirement ready.

Fifty years (65 years old): Possibly retired, but not if I don't have a good enough saving set aside for it.

Sixty years (75 years old): Happily retired.

I'd see myself as either a Actor, video game beta test or a lawyer <-- listing mostly likely to less likely but I'm not sure otherwise where I'd see myself

I'll see myself as a nationwide writer who becomes the next J.K. Rowling who aspiries to become a chicken.

...Naw, I do see myself as a writer or a journalist though. AND IF COPS SAYS SO THEN IT SHALL BEITH!

I'll also have two cats named Sigmund and Freud as well as a German Shepard named Asch~

It could happen hopefully.

10 years from now: Out of college, career as some kind of artist, well on my way to being a real man! Still single and crazy.

20 years: I've become a real man! I'm still an artist. I'm still single and crazy.

21 years: I ate some of the Mafia's connoli. :o

22 years: Dead.

Sigh... it's a dream.

Not sure really. I'm doing my teacher training next year, so in 10 years time I should be a fairly experienced teacher. Would love to be married, own a house, drive, and think about having a family.

However I know I can make alot more money out of working in London, but want to do something that I'll properly enjoy first.

I'm hoping in at least 10 years I'll be married. Any longer than that and I'll be getting worried, cause I'd like to have children as well and I don't want to leave that until I'm older.

I ain't sure what I want now career wise, but hopefully it's something that's stable and enough to get me a house and support a family. Funny how I'm already starting to worry about these things huh?

I plan to get out of college, get my degree in Software Engineering or Communications, get married, have kids, work my way up the corporate ladder, kids leave home, I retire, Kids have Kids, I die of an unrelated Watermelon Incident.

Yep

In ten years: Living with a friend as a roommate in Queensland, Australia. I'd like to be a lorry driver.
In twenty years: Likely still a lorry driver, and still single (I just prefer being alone). Oh, and I'd have my own house by then of course.
In thirty years: World War Three, so long as it doesn't involve nukes, would be fun some number of years after this point in my life... xD

I don't have much I wish to aspire to, I just want to live a decent and humble life that ends nobly in battle; and no, I don't want children.

I plan to go to University after High School to become a pharmacist. :> Hopefully I'll get married afterward... but I don't want kids. I just want to be successful at what I do so I can make a nice living for myself. Honestly, I haven't thought about this stuff much yet. :/

In the future, I might go to the US to work there as a nurse, and at the same time study BSA or Astronomy. This my perception...

I really want to get a career in Basketball, i doubt that i can but i am going to try my best.

If i fail miserably in that, i shall go to university to study, the A R T of accounting. It's always been my "fallback" whenever i think of a whacky career to pursue.

I plan on going to University after I graduate and... that's all I really have planned out. xD;

I'd like to be an actor or writer, but frankly those are lofty goals. I'm interested in Psychology and I've thought of becoming a social worker or something along those lines.

personally I have a lot of backup plans. My main focuses are going into either game design or writing. Moreso leaning on game design since I researched it more. My backups include acting and film making

No offence guys, but honestly, there are quite a few unrealistic expectations here XD

In 10yrs time, I'll be a dentist.

10 years from now: A little 25 year old guy working at a local something getting just enough money to feed myself. Making independent games in my spare time and attempting to sell them unsuccessfully. I would've only just been getting out University most likely. I'll probably still be here living at home.

20 years from now: In the gaming industry as a 35 year old living in the USA, preferably working with Nintendo making games for the Nintendo whatever (if they're still around). If that fails then something else to do with computers.

30 years from now: Finally rising to fame as a middle-aged game creator.

You would be safe to assume games for me are not just a hobby, but it's what I am. ^_^

However all of this could change if I get married and have kids or whatever. One thing could change all that, anyway I still want to be working with computers, something to do with games or perhaps web design etc.

10 years from now: I'll be worrying about how i only have one year left before i hit the ol' 3-0 and wondering what I've done with my life. I'll probably be working for and Aerospace corporation in Seattle, and just starting to make some headway. Seeing as it would be 2018, we'd be preparing something for NASA for the mission to Mars in 2020. Also I'd begin to settle down with my girlfriend/fiance (who knows it's 10 years from now).

20 years from now: I'd be a high ranking official for the aerospace industry, having time to only see the kids (two of them) every so often. Work would start to take it's toll on me, in my spare time, I'm trying to figure out a way to break the Warp Barrier. Preferably I'd be close to break through.

30 years from now: After breaking the Warp Barrier, I'd be thrust into the public limelight, and work on uniting the world so we can explore our galaxy together as a single planet. Also I'd be pushing my son to become the first captain of one of the Warp-5 starship I'm going to develop, so i can live vicariously through him because by the time we build a starship capable of interstellar travel, I'm going to be dead or an old man. My daughter will be an ambitious young high school student... hopefully without a boyfriend...

So after the 20 year mark, I'm getting a little hopeful that warp travel is obtainable in such a short amount of time, but other than that, that's where i see myself.

My outlook on life's really low. I bet I'll die in some odd way in the span of 10 years. That way, I won't be around when all the crazy end of the world stuff that has been discussed in some other threads, happens.

Hopefully. .
I wanna see myself a designer.. or someone who makes big bucks off of TV/Commercial Production, or a writer.
I love writing, it's just something to do and it lets my mind flow.
And hopefully, I'll be married. ^//^
