Intro: I thought about a NEW kind of hack. New kind of story, New experience!

Story:
A Sneak Peek of the Storyline...
Well one morning you try to leave Twinleaf Town. You get stopped and see Prof.Rowan at his relatives. He gives you the Pokemon while you're there. Soon, you enter a forest and see a celebi and you follow it. It sends you into different places as you go closer to Celebi. When you return back, the world seems very different...

There will be no gyms but each place you travel has an event which is equvilent to a badge or ayou meet up with a leader at the end of a chapter and battle...

I'm gonna think of a way for Celebi...Perhaps Silph Scope is more helpful than it looks...

It will be parts of new and old places where you venture.

I haven't started this yet cuz I need to think what's gonna happen up until the forest...

Yes and you will be stuck in each chapter till the end as you must travel through strange moments like I said.

I like it forcing you to follow the storyline, you should make it subtle though so that the player isn't shown that he/she is being forced to go back.

I'll change each chapter starting point with no exit as you'll appear into a square and go into the chapter.

Chapter 2 is the first travel event.
You go to Lavender Tower before Gold.
Rocket Event.

Edit:I'm gonna start adddin D/P Pokes.
They will replace some Pokes that are not needed.

Even though Pokemon Platinum is the D/P third game, i think you should just stick with D/P as the name.

A spoiler on Chapter 2:
You leave the safety area and walk in to find a few Rockets.
You carry on up the Radio Tower till u find the Admin.
The Chapter is worth 1 badge.

D/P Pokes:

I'm still deciding who to put in as the pallates are confusing and may have to change them a little.

Rivals: Well, that's a tough thing. I haven't planned rival events in Sinnoh as they are irrelevant.

Giratina's back sprite is a bit wired as it floats.

I'll re-script for them to replace the fr legends except 4 ho-oh lugia and deoxys.
I'll use snorlax and marowak ghost for an easy time.

1. The Dp starters will be the ones. This was a test.

2. Spriter's resource. It'll take a bit of scripting for these to come in.

D/P Pokes: Inserting Buizel and his evolution.

Chapters: There will be 12 chapters of the story then the HOF (Hall of Fame).
That will activate the new events/region.

Sinnoh: You wil only travel to a few places.

Beta 2 chapter 3 and 4.

Last beta will have new extras like second home in new region.

as far as i know, pokemon platinum has not been released yet. or is it home made?
this hack seems cool...though i don't really like the idea of starting with arceus...seems a bit of an overpowered pokemon for that doesn't it?

No, the hack will be paused for 2 weeks but the beta would nearly be completed so it would be no worry.
