Out of all of 'em, Charmander. For Johto, Totodile, though Cyndaquil is a close second. For Hoenn, definitely Treecko. Sinnoh's choices were all kinda iffy, but I did choose Turtwig.

Funny thing is, the only Grass-types I ever recall using were starters.

My favourites are Cyndaquil and Treecko. But I think I like Treecko more now, Cyndaquil used to be my very favourite before Ruby and Sapphire though.

To me, Charmander was unique in it's final typing, Outside of legendaries, you could'nt get it... still can't.
Chikorita was just a monster to me, it made me start liking Grass types in general.
Torchic has the same argument as Charmander.
But 4th Gen... eesh.
Each final stage had types to counter it's "opposing" starter.
Except for Empoleon, but all the Water ones ever could get Ice Beam... so it's whatever.
Torterra has Ground to take out the Fire in Infernape
and Infernape had Fighting to take out Empoleon's Steel.
Torterra owns though, because it's back is a tree.
Idk why, that just excites me.
