How would I go about collecting all Legends for keeps?

Alls I got is a Deoxys(not trading) right now and I only have 6 badges and counting and unfortunatly I don't have access to nintendo wifi(my routers gay) yet but should b4 summers over
Obviously there are few people that are generous or dumb enough to give away legndary pokemon easily so would the only way to get them be getting a whole bunch of shinies?
dex entries are nice but i wanna have a box full of pokemon trophies aka my legendaries!

You could go catch the Pokemon in game, Go to events, or go to the trade section and offer for some.

But since you don't have Wi-Fi, the first 2 are your only options

I know there are quite a few to catch in the game but in my opinion there not as valuable if they come out the box which is why I say this
I guess I will have to repurchase Fire Red and emerald in the future to import my classic faves and their still $30 ridiculous.....
Now I just wait till I could go on wifi......

Yeah, some Pokemon, such as Mew and Celebi you can only get from events, so you'd need Wi-Fi

Actually, most people you see offering legendaries or shinies are not dumb, they simply have a lot- an Action Replay or GameShark can answer for that.

He means that they used an AR Device to clone the Pokemon. They are still legit. They're are just multiple.

Yes people can make hacked Pokemon look legit but you just have to ask about it's information. If you know that there in no way of getting a Pokemon *cough* Arceus *cough* then you know it's a fake.

i only use my ar to get event items for my diamond. they are still legit as i went to the place and had to battle them

Just catch the legends, unless you're lucky (like me) and get an idiot on gts (one guy put up an uxie for a starly, which i got :)

Well, with Pokésav, yeah. You could totally set it to Acuity Cavern. Or wherever else you want.
I've checked it out myself, and there's no reason you can't make perfectly legit pokémon with it (besides the fact that people are always suspicious).

With great power comes great responsibility. I'd never use it to make thousands of Arceus with perfect stats, and neither should you.

My friend had an AR and did it for regigiggas, cause he traded his on GTS.

And as for your legends. I would say try and fix your router.
If it is password protected take off the password and you should be able to access the GTS. If thats not the problem PM me and ill suggest some other things.
(IE: GTS is your best bet for legends. I got a deoxys off it.)

Yeah. But the GTS knows what pokemon arent real.
My friend who had the AR tried to trade an Arceus for a darkrai and it wouldnt let him.
Thats when he reset his game and ran over his AR with a car.

But if the shinies are for you I would say its okay.
But if you were to go to a competition somewhere they might not allow it...idk

Since Arceus have never been released anywhere in the world, of course Nintendo will know if you put one on the GTS.

After you beat the Elite four 3 legendaries will become available. Also try migrating from GBA versions and maybe get Dialgia/Palkia by trading with a friend

Surely you need to have 'seen' the legendary before you can trade it in GTS. This is the problem that I have with getting many of the older generation Pokemon.

this thread is old i did beat the story and imported a few but lost my pearl
but the ones i really care for are events those would be really hard to collect and keep since someone who wants to trade an event likely wants an event
unfortunatly for me i lost mu deoxys with pearl....
