Hack from Red, the oldest hack I remember, the first hack I ever played. Many people from my generation started with it. It was one of the best known hacks in its era.

That's really one ancient hack! Not many people here seem to remember its times.

Properly, Shiny Gold. But actually, it was Chaos Black. My friends went on holiday to Turkey and bought "new Pokemon games". Yeah, it was pirated, but that was way back before I even knew about Roms, hacking, or even PokeCommunity. My brother got a pirated Pokemon Arcoiris, which is like a worse-version of Pokemon Naranja. Neither were finished hacks, and Black Chrome ended at the very end of Mt Moon. I spent ages using Action Replay codes and such to try and hack my way across the water, but nothing was changed after it, anyways. Big disappointment.

First Pokemon ROM Hack? Shiny Gold. It got me to join the site, even though I was lurking around as a guest for about... half a year. I was eventually going to join anyway.

EDIT: Actually, I just realised. The first ROM Hack I ever played is Ketai Denjuu Telefang (Or better known as 'Pokemon Diamond'). I know that's an actual game, but it was the translation, and it was renamed, and I played it as a ROM. Technically it's a ROM Hack. I played it a long time ago, and I mean it was before the third gen, I believe. I might be remembering it wrong, though. (And this also is the first hack I played. But I'm keeping VIP up there, since it was the first one I knew was a ROM Hack.
