Dont let this screen fool you, you'll have to walk out into the outdoor stadium for your battles oh and you'll recognize alot of the trainers there. I have filled in spots with random trainers for trainers in the anime that haven't been completed.

It's a Simple dating game that features 15 Questions. 5 for each contestant. You win things like Pokeballs of all kinds and other items like rare candys. answer all 15 correct and you win a nugget! I'm thinking of editing the combat mini game in the starter kit to make contests like the anime! But the contest is May and Dawns Contest Outfits! Whoever can make the best OW or Trainer sprite of May or Dawn in a Custom or Anime based contest outfit will recieve a demo of the game's contests when I finish editing the script. there will be 4 winners so Please send me your OW(FR/LG style)or trainer sprite of May or Dawn in Contest attire! Sure i'll look at it.

Oh and let me be more specific about the Contest. If you make a custom Outfit of your own make sure the entire sprite isn't custom just the outfit. if your going for a contest outfit from the anime be sure to catch every little detail. Remember only contest sprites of MAY and DAWN I'll even except one for JESSIE a good jessie will most definetly get you the Demo!

Oh and I haven't forgot about the pikachu adventures were still working on those so be on the lookout!

I just counted and your right! I shall be updating very soon.

Yes you'll play as may and Dawn in contests. You can play a Brock in the minigame and Misty will be feature in an Upcoming Minigame that will be revealed sooner rather than later. But as of now outside the mini games and Double Battles I have no Future Plans for them. But that has time to change.

lol this isn't a hack so that isn't a problem. I am also going to try an make it as small as I can but no matter what the size when you download this game you'll be able to play is for a long time and not spend it in one region so it'll be well worth it.

As PokemonOI just said, this isn't a hack, but I've heard that some people feel limited when making hacks, so I guess that's because you can't do as much. The space limit thing probably is true, though.

well before you meet tracey you meet Prof. Ivy,then tracey then the Orange league gym leaders and of course lapras where you'll obtain surf(I'm saving that HM for the OI's) and some minor anime characters should make appearances.:classic: Anymore questions? oh and yes that movie will take place in the OI's

Now for what this update is mainly about new Pokemon sprites! I am mainly focusing on changing the sprites of johto pokemon in the starter kit right now because when your in the orange islands there will be trainers with johto pokemon and and there will be a few there you can catch well anyway here these are from D/P.

Speaking of the demo I have also decided to add a small portion of the next mini game in the demo!

I would greatly appreciate it if there was more entries in the contest.Now there is only one winner and a mini game added to the demo prize so people send in those sprites.Details can be found on Post #508!

lol this update has been ready all day I've just been waiting for a new post.
well anyway lets get to the two screens. I've been changing some battle sprites for a few pokemon in the game and now I've decided to change them all unless they seem ok to me(few of them do) Here are to randomly picked picked pokemon! oh and you'll notice something else has been changed aswell.

EDIT: If you continue making this game at the current speed, then the game should be done when it has been about 424 days old, as it has been about 99 days since he made the first post{plus PokemonOI said that the Kanto Tournement should be done in about a week}. That means we have about 318 days until the entire game is finished. That's almost a year, SO DON'T KEEP ASKING WHEN IT'S GOING TO BE FINISHED!!!

Also as you know I'm working on the graphics of the game right now as i come to the end of kanto. I was looking at the things that happened in the game in kanto and the anime an saw a few things.

1.Team Rocket is not ambushing you enough throughout the region
2.There is a lack of minor anime characters.
3.Brock and Misty are too worthless.

So all these problems will be fixed in the Orange Islands and before the game is realeased maybe in Kanto aswell.

Also I would like for you guys to help me with this. I have seemed to fail with the combat to contest scripting so now here are my options and I want you guys to lemme know which one you like.

1.One-on-One Battles, three rounds
2.Two-on-Two Battles,three rounds
3.continue to try the scripting.....-_-'

POkemonoi, you seem to be trying to follow the anime, with the character and all. I think it is a brilliant idea as pokemon yellow was a poor game.

If you are following the anime, Wouldnt it make sense to have a pikachu as a starter pokemon? firts of all having 3 will make it easyer in the gyms at the start. if you are following it like the anime, you should kinda do pikachu as the starter so it woll be much more difficult and it makes more sense....infact it makes a hell of a lot more sense if you are using the anime character in ash and the main villians. then you may as well include the starter to make it proper.

also if you do, you think it is possible for it to follow you like the anime. i really do hate pikachu in the anime but it just makes no sense whatsoever to have the anime chracter like ash and parts of the storyline but not his original starter....

Yeah it is but its different from the PC. he'll give you tips on the city your in about the pokemon around it, the gym leader and the status on gary.Also he'll tell you about pokemon you should maybe try catching.

Also the trainers that you saw in the game like hiro and brendan will appear briefly in the game. while in kanto you'll se them only a few times and then more often in their home regions.

lol Idk as of now in kanto all they do is give advice and do double battles against team rocket. then there is the Brock dating show minigame. Not sure right now. I'm almost done with Kanto so I'll so be going back polishing things. I think I said recently that They play a bigger role in the Orange islands.

I've already thought of this and I'm not. The only way anyone can get their hands on the game before the realease is in a demo that can only be won thorugh contests.

Well like tuesday in the week I had recorded a video of the pokemon league enviroment. It had street vendors outside the stadium,people walking around talking about the participants stuff like that.I think I'm just gonna show screens because the video is already recorded.

Thanx snorlax is awesome. I too like the look which is why I switched and besides this is easier on the eyes than the green one.
