Ok here's the plot:



It is a dark stormy night, A band of teenage hikers are running down the worn path in the woods searching for the shelter of a cave or even a heavily wooded clearing. Eventually then reach a cave which without a second thought they rushed into. When they got inside they noticed that the cave walls were charred from years of fires. There were also bones of animals and some that looked human laying around the cave. The cave went down in very deep so they decided to investigate the inside of the cave.

More of this will be explained after a few people join, and of this group there will be a leader which is 21 and the first person to ask may be the leader of the group!

Looks: light blue tank, blue denim mini skirt, and white and silver tennis shoes. sapphire blue eyes, dirty blonde hair with light blonde highlights.
Supplies: a rope, some water, a bit of food, and a first aid kit.

Personality: She's kinda shy. But she will defend herself, very well, if needed. And she's very open with her friends.
Looks: Light brown hair with blonde high-lights, purple eyes, tall and skinny, blue T-shirt covered by a blue poncho (or shar, depends on which you call it), jeans and light blue shoes with 'Li'l Angel' on each. ^^
Supplies: Her back pack (duh), a flashlight (she doesn't like the dark, or spiders), a hatchet, a stuffed doggy her dearly departed Dad gave her, food and water, bandages and ointments, a CD player, a hand-held game (not specified... maybe), a sleeping bag, a book, and (alothough no one knows it) a gun... I don't know what kind though. A small one, with ammo.

Looks: Dark brown unruly hair cut short and kind green eyes. Wears a black t-shirt and green cargo pants with a belt. Wears biking gloves to protect his hands in case of a fall or if he needs to do some climbing. Marine-style watch and practical hiking shoes.
Supplies: Road flares, first aid kit, rope, water, beef jerky, cheese, camping and hunting knife, small hatchet, a small composite bow and 10 arrows, 1 man tent, sleeping bag, and a small book to read.

Supplies: Various nitrition bars, small shovel, matches, candle, first aid kit, extra clothes, dry tinder, tent, sleeping bag, rope, and i think that's it. naturally she's very strong cause the equipment weighs quite a bit.

The rain drummed gently on the top of my tent as I tried to get to sleep. The front hadn't looked so bad this afternoon, but now...Things looked rather grim to be honest. Still, so far everything seemed okay, all the kids were in bed and (for the most part) asleep. The rain even seemed like it was dying off a bit as I turned the page in my book.

saphira stayed in the back of the cave, away from everyone else. why did i even come? she thought, leaning against the back of her tent. someone farther up was still awake. wonder why hes awake... she thought, bored almost to death... almost...

I let out an expansive yawn and flicked out the light. Everything seemed okay for now and I felt safe in going to sleep. Everything was alright and tomorrow I'd see if anyone wanted to do a bit of climbing.

Maybe an hour later I woke with a start. The rain on the tent was much louder now, it sounded torrential. The inside of the small shelter was lit at irregular intervals by flashes of lightning accompanied almost immidiately my the crack of thunder. Worried about the rest of everyone, I pulled the sleeping bag over my head (furious at myself for not bringing a poncho) and stepped out into the downpour, shouting "Everyone up! Now! We need to get off this ridge!"

Kylee was pretending to be asleep. She seemed to be good at that. Pretending. She would open her eyes halfway to look at everyone else. They were asleep, or just pretending, like her. How many were really awake? How many had a dark secret hidden inside their back packs? How many still had the little suffed dog their Dad had given them for their 3rd birthday, one month before he had been murdered.
Kylee hugged her dog (who she had named Brownie) closer to her. It was hidden under the covers of her blanket, because she thought that if anyone else had found out that she still had a stuffed dog they would make fun of her.
It had been awhile since her dad had died. She had gotten over it, but she still missed him. And it still hurt. If she thought about it too hard she would start to cry. So instead of thinking about her daddy she thought about the rain outside and about sleep. But it didn't help. So she thought about the hike. That really didn't help. She was very nervous. But she was gonna do it. She was gonna be brave, just like her dad.

I had been out of my tent for a while, just enjoying the night life. When I heard the yelling, I knew that the rain had finally gotten to a point where it was a threat. thankfully I hadn't even unpacked, so I was ready to move. I simply waited where I was, deciding if he didn't notice me more reason to get myelf lost as I didn't really have anyone who cared about me.

saphira sighed. she was bored. hearing the voice, she gathered eveything. "now what?" she asked.

"Everyone up! Now! We need to get off this ridge!"
When Kylee heard this she quickly wiped her tears and stood straight up. "What's going on?" she asked wearily, still half asleep. Then she noticed she was clutching Brownie in her hand. She quickly hid it behind her back. Had anyone seen it? Would they make fun of her now? And why were they getting off the ridge?

"EVERYONE" I screamed, frustrated by the lack of activity "WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!" I hoisted my pack over my shoulder and started rushing about, trying to get everything together. My sense of urgency was only heightened when I saw lightning stike only one ridge away.

Kylee had noticed Saphira looking at her. If she had seen Brownie, she hadn't said anything.
So Kylee walked out of the tent and prepared to follow the group off the ridge.

Jaser wok up to everyone getting up and most of them talking. It was raining hard. Jasper hadn't unpacked mucch, so he didn't really mind moving, but he hopped his bag wouldn't get too wet cause him weed was in there and would be no good if it got wet.
At this thought he grabbed his bag and stuffed it in his sleeping bag and starting moving with the rest. "So where are we going to?" He asked their shaparone.

"What's going on?" she asked again.

saphira frowned. her head was hurting, which was unusual. "ugh.." she said quietly. something big was going to happen...

"We need to get out of here" I said a bit more quietly, but still sharply. "The storm's getting closer and I don't want to be up on this ridge when it hits." I had all my stuff ready to go as I stated looking around out campsit to see if anyone else needed help.

"if you're running away I ask that you take me with you. I was having simaler plans myself, and with them desracted by the storm now is the time to get out of here" I said calmly, as lightning flashed behind me, attracted to a nearby mountain.

I quickly followed, and made sure we were a good distance away, before saying "good job. I seriously doubt they'll notice we're gone. I noticed a cave a good distance away, we should get there so we can avoid getting zapped or freezing to death"

"good idea." saphira replyed with no emtion. "lead the way." she stapped aside so the girl could take her there. "by the way," she added. "i`m saphira. saphira moonstream."

I'd managed to gather everyone I could find around. Still, there were two missing. I cursed under my breath, in the storm it'd be impossible to track anyone down easily. "There's a cave about two miles that way" I told everyone, pointing in the same direction that the other two had gone minutes before. "Find it and take shelter. If I don't get back within three hourse, leave. Stick to the lowgrounds and try to find a road." For myself, I set off in the opposite direction, figuring I'd circle around all the likely shelters in the area.

"I'm Eclipse. but no time for introductions now. We have to hurry." I said, picking up the pace. many judged my by my age alone, but when I had to some called me a natural leader, and I already felt that I had people i needed to protect and take care of.

Kylee blushed even more. "Oh, ok then." She was beginning to like this guy. He made her feel safer. She showed him the old worn-out brown dog. "Here he is. Um, his name's Brownie." She decided she could tell him his name. She just hoped she wouldn't regret it.

"Get going you lot" I snapped at the group, disgusted by their inaction as I walked still further off, headed for the first spot I knew, a small hollow in a crag.

Ky blinked. "Guess we should get going," she said, taking her dog back from Jasper. "C'mon." She walked off for the cave Seth had pinted to.

"You won't regret it," He whispered. He then took the dog as soon as he did he saw flashes of a man, a gun, the man was then falling he hen saw the man hand a little girl a stuffed dog. He then saw a flash of another man's face, happy, holing a gun in his right hand. "He was your father? The man who was shot?"

Ky felt as though a stone had dropped in the pit of her stomache. She tried hard not to cry.
"S-so, you a-are pyschic. I thought it was a joke to get to see my toy. Yeah, he was. They never found the murderer. But I will," she added, feeling angry.

finally, we had reached the cave that i remembered, and considerably little had changed. I told Saphira to wait inside, as I took off to look for some wood stocks I had hidden last year, when I got lost up here.. I quickly found them, thankfuly it was still dry, and got them back to the cave. staying near the front of the cave so the smoke could escape but still where the rain wouldn't reach it, I quickly used my matches and old experience with campfires to start a small fire. "if you have anythign that needs dried off, put it near the fire, but not too close" I said calmly.

I had no luck at the crag, which I suppose could be expected. It was barely noticable. A boulder field was my next destination, the shape of the tumble provided a plethora of natural hiding places.

I suddenly realized that even though we had ran and it was raining, our tracks would still be visable. the odds seemed pretty high that our trail would be found and tracked. "I hope the leader doesn't notice our trail or we're both in big trouble.." I muttered to no one in particular

The boulder field was deserted as well, there were no other decent shelters around here except the cave. Maybe they were there, but I didn't get my hopes up. I started off that way, although it was about three miles in a torrenial downpour, some of it across a scree field, I pulled out one of my flares and cracked it open, hoping the light would help out a bit.

I laid down in a incredibly dry area of the cave, still keepin watch over the campfire, as i had been taught to do. I also kept the extra wood with me, because while there was plently from my firebug tendencies going rampant, I did not want to risk running low, not now, and even worse if the extra wood got ignited.

"I can help you. I saw his face in my visions. I have an almost photographic memory and I know just what he looks like. Wonder How long its gonna take for us to get where we are going?"e then asked Ky

Unbeknownst to myself, I was traveling pretty much parallel to the kids. The ave was nary a half-mile from where I stood, and over easy terrain to boot. I'd be there soon, hopefully finding my charges there safe and sound.

I had fallen half asleep, listening to the rain and lightning that seemed to be almost directly above us, but I forced myself to stay awake so I could keep an eye on everything. I was starting to wonder what had become of the rest of the camp, and how lucky it was that we had decided to run then, instead of waiting...

I got to the cave entrance just as my flare burned out. There did seem to be a fire going inside, though. A good sign. Seeing the two missing kids gave me quite a relief, although I didn't voice it, or disturb their rest.

"you realise you are blowing the entire purpose of running away?" I said calmly, noticing the camp leader. Which only ment the others couldn't be far behind him, which shattered my plans. ah well, there was always another time, though I had to be more careful, he'd probably be keeping a better watch next time..

My only response was "Rather irresponsible of you. Don't do it again." I sat down slowly near the fire, not wanting to risk dousing it with any sudden motions.

"try and stop me" I muttered, relaxing. at least I didn't have to worry about a hour long lecture. I was more then used to that. Thankfully I was destracted from making any directly insulting comments by the sound of thunder.

I kept glancing toward the mouth of the cave periodically, checking for the other two. Maybe they'd missed the cave. I decided against that, the entrance was fairly large and pretty much straight in their path. My nose started twitching, trying to pick up a funny smell.

as long as somebody else could keep an eye on the fire I saw no reason why I couldn't catch up on missed sleep due to night life. I was extremly tired so I didn't even go after the items in my pack, just dozed off on the spot...

Ky looked around. Nothing seemed familiar.
"Uh oh," she said to Jasper. "I think we're lost. Were did Seth tell us to go again?" She had a bad memory. Of most things...

My own anxiety about the other kids keprt me from falling asleep, even though the tension of my previous search had worn me out completly. Strangely enough, it seemed that the rain showed no signs of letting up. It was almost enough to make me believe in the superstition of my father.

I managed to quickly drag myself out of my unconcous state, and notcing that the leader seemd worried, said "you're conserned about the other kids arn't you?" and without waiting for a responce, said "I'll go look for them." and with that, I put back on my coat, that had just dried off.

"Alright," I mumbled. exhaustion had put me in a less than top-notch mental state or I never would have agreed. right now, though...

Ky looked to her right. A cave!
"Let's stay in here for the night. Maybe Seth will come find us." And she dragged Jasper into the cave.

"never mind then" i said as I noticed the pair enter the cave. "the first person that gets water on me is dead" i said as I gradually dozed off again.

I started back to full conciousness, gushing a "Thank the heavens you're alright. I thought you'd be here long before me."

"I'm suprised. I would have thought they would have fallen into that sinkhole" I muttered under my breath. I got slowly to my feet, focusing my mind on getting past him to run off..

"Oh no you don't" I said to myself, guessing my intentions. I moved myself over between the fire and the cave's mouth under the pretense of fleeing the smoke.

Well, looks like I'm not getting out of here.. not while he's keeping watch... I thought, sitting down, aginst the wall, silently planning my next escape route.

"Hey" I spoke up, wanting something to do. "we're stuck in here, what say we see how far down this cave goes?"

[Flygon trainer]

"I thought you were tired." I said calmly. Considering I was extremly tired, i was shocked that he wasn't...

"Just..." I yawned, belying my next words. "...a bit mentally numb. Anyway, doing something will wake me up just fine."

[Flygon trainer]

"aww man" I whined, though quietly. I was expecting to get some sleep for once, but it was only a matter of time before that could happen..

Kylee blinked.
"Nice to see you too," she muttered. "Can I go with you? I desperatley need soemthing to do!"

"Alright" I said, pulling out another flare and getting it lit. I stood slowly, making sure my all but frozen muscles would hold me.

saphira had been hidden in the shadows the whole time, unoticed. she closed her eyes, getting a mental picture of a boy closing his eyes like she does. he`s different too... she thought in awe. the boy she had just seen walked in. saphira almost gasped... almost...

"well then, looks like I'm stuck with you then" i said with a slight laugh. I didn't want to be with them, but I had no choice.

my mind was buzzing, looking for a way to get past the leader and out of the caverns... I was getting cabin fever, and with so many people around i was getting sick to my stomach.

I walked over next to Saphira, and asked "what is it?" in a voice only loud enough to be heard by her and no one else.

"maybe we can escape through the back of the cave..." she said in a low voice. "there might be an opening or a hole or anything really."

IC: "how do you expect to get around him?" I asked, glancing at the leader. "he was observant enough to stop my first attempt, all we need is a plan that doesn't make us obvious."

I started walking down deeper into the cave. I'd been this far before, but not much further in. Imperciptably almost an odd scent filled the cave, almost like sulfur...Almost.

[Flygon trainer]

"Then again with him over there he'd never stop us from taking the front exit, unless he's really fast." I said thoughtfully, accidently in normal speech. I could only pray that he didn't hear..

Kylee smiled and ran past Seth.
"Betcha I can beat you to the back of the cave!" she cried and without a glance back ran off into the darkness.
It wasn't completley dark further back in the cave. Oddly enough it was pretty light, but Kylee had no idea why. She came to a place where there were two tunnels. She decided to take the left one. She made an arrow pointing to the right tunnel, thinking to throw Seth off. This would be fun!

I sighed at the trick, seeing the Kylee's footprints in the dirt. White dirt? I looked quizzically at the ground for several moments before walking off down the left tunnel.

Kylee kept running. The tunnel never got darker. It almost seemed to get lighter. And the walls were covered with... slime? Kylee paused momentairly to stare at the wall. WHy in the world was there slime on the wall?
But then she heard footsteps behind her (probably Seth's) so she continued running down the tunnel, deeper and deeper...

The sulfur-ish aroma was stronger. I slowed down a bit, cautious and put my hand on the knife at my belt.

[Flygon trainer]

I had taken a different route, and it seemed that the caves led deeper and deeper into the earth. I could smell brimstone, and I was starting to worry, more about the others than myself...

[Psychotic_Demon]

saphira noticed he was gone. "come on!' she said to eclipse, running torward the back of the cave at an alomst unhamanly speed.

[Master Angel]

Kylee kept running. But the faster she went the louder and closer the footsteps became. She stopped. The footsteps stopped. But when Kylee looked behind her she didn't see anything. So she kept going, and the footsteps started again. She ran fast again. So did the footsteps. Soon she was running so fast that whatever had been chasing her finally caught up with her. It grabbed her by the shoulder in its bloody teeth. She screamed so loud it echoed throughout the cave.

[Flygon trainer]

I heard the scream, but there was no way I'd make it up. the only way was to continue downward. I shifted into a run, and found myself at a lava feild, and the only way across was actross some rocks, but it didn't seem to stable.. then I remembered the scream.. "Even if I don't make it I'll know i tried." I said to myself, and gathering my courage, carefully hopped across the rocks one by one.

Although Kylee was nearly unconsious, she remembered the monster dragging her into a new place in the cave. The walls were no longer covered in slime, the sand was no longer white, it was dark, and there was no way anyone would be able to find her...

saphira saw kylee being dragged. what the... saphira picked up her pace, emerging in a dark room...

[Flygon trainer]

I quickly got across the lava and traveled in a cavern that sloped slightly up. I heard a sound echoing down the halls, like something large being dragged. I quickly followed the sound, which led to a pitch black cavern. I managed to find the matches and strike one, than use it to light a candle, which for me at least, was more than enough to let me see. i quickly moved on, until I got to a chamber, and in it was a monster, with one of the group! I was worried but I wasn't sure what I could do, if anything...

Kylee saw a person, no maybe two, enter the room, right before she passed out.

[Flygon trainer]

I scanned the room, looking for a weapon. there, in the corner, a sword! i managed to sprint and grab it, though I didn't know if that had attracted the attention of the monster. It was almost like the blade was vibrating with energy, though i decided that I was just scared.

[Psychotic_Demon]

saphira noticed eclipse. "we need to help her!" she said with no emotion in her voice.

[Master Angel]

OOC- Man, I'm passed out, I can't do anything. Hmm, when to wake up... I wonder where Joe_Johnson_Dk_Roy is? He hasn't been here for awhile.

[Flygon trainer]

OOC: typicly in situations such as this the person with the KOed charecter controls the monster instead. just a thought.

ic: saphira looked around for anything that she could use. THERE! a few feet in front of her was a bow and arrow. she picked it up, notching the arrow and shoot one...

OOC- Oh goody! I wanna do the monster!

IC-It turned around. Two new humans had entered its home. They would die too.
It opened its mouth wide, showing off its large bloody teeth. That was what had scared most of them. These would be no different.
It grabbed the one with the sword by the shoulder, shaking it back and forth.

As soon as I'd heard the scream I sprinted after the sound, coming into the cave shortly after Eclipse had found the sword. Shock was over-ridden by concern for the kids. Adreneline pumping, I yanked the bow out of my pack and grabbed an arrow.

saphiras arrow hit the monster in the chest... i had no idea i could do that...

I felt pain shoot throughout my body, but I quickly spun out of it's grip, swinging the sword in a wide arc, that would hopefully connect..

It felt the blade of the sword cut into its shoulder and also felt a sharp sting in its chest. It lost its grip on the human, but turned to the other, which was now pointing a bow and arrow at it.

I took aim straight at the beast's eye, whispering a small cantrip my father insisted worked. I'd never believed that it had, I used it as a good luck charm. Imagine my surprise, then, when the arrow shot away trailing silver lightning.

saphira shot another arrow, this time at its heart. she focused her undeveloped psychic powers, struggling to control the arrow

[Master Angel]

What is this? it thought to itself, staring into a blinding silver light, that hit it right in the eye! It howled so loud the cave shook, awaking the unconsious human behind it.
Soon afterwards it also felt another sting in its chest, this time that shot through right to its heart. It lay writhing on the ground.

[Flygon trainer]

I backed away, one hand on the injured shoulder. it hurt like he**, the thing must have some sort of venom in it's teeth.. When the arrow connected, I darted forward, and suddenly the blade glowed black, and i brought the blade forward, striking the monster in the chest.

[Master Angel]

OOC- Man, you guys are going too fast for me!

IC- Kylee woke to the sound of something dying, and a horrible stench. The monster lay dead on the floor, with no less than six wounds.
"Whoa, what just happened?" she said drearily.

I pulled another arrow out of my quiver and drew it back to my ear, waiting to see if Eclipse had done anything.

saphira gave kylee the 'dont-even-think-about-asking-we-just-save-your-behind' look.

I didn't respond, but I moved aside, before feeling the pain in my shoulder again. I hissed from the pain, but I didn't say anything about it.

Kylee looked around at everyone. Ok, not safe to ask.
Kylee stood up but felt an imense pain in her side and dropeed back down to the ground.

saphira could see everyone was hurt. well, almost everyone. she took out her pack, looking at its contences. "i have something u can use, eclipse. and kylee, i have some spray. it hurts like heck, but it works."

[Master Angel]

Kylee leaned her head back.
"Nothing can be worse than this pain in my side," she mumbled.

[Flygon trainer]

"use it on Kaylee. I'm not important enough to waste that stuff on" I said darkly.

[Master Angel]

Kylee looked at Eclipse.
"Why do you say that?" she asked. But maybe she shouldn't have.

[Psychotic_Demon]

saphira handed the bottle to kylee. "yes u are." she said sternly to eclipse. "im the one whos not."

[Flygon trainer]

"Follow my advice. My wound is not fatel unless it gets infected, and even then if I end up dead I won't be missed as much" I said calmly, despite the pain.

[Master Angel]

Kylee sprayed the stuff in the bottle on her wound, but quickly dropped it and clutched her side.
"Ow," she said through clenched teeth. "Got any more surprises?"

[Psychotic_Demon]

"acctually yes. but you dont want to know about my past..." saphira answered darkly.

[Master Angel]

"Ok, won't ask," Kylee said standing up. She held on to the wall for support. It seemed like ages since she had last stood up. And her legs were asleep.

saphira helped kylee stand up. "well your the first..." she muttered.

[Master Angel]

Kylee didn'y want to pry. She had her own horrible past, and only one person knew about it. But he wasn't there.
"So, can we get out of here?" Ky asked. "I'm starting to get really creeped."

[Psychotic_Demon]

"yes. lets." she closed her eyes and could see a younger version of kylee crying. "did a family member of yours get murder?" she blurted out. "oops... sry.."

saphira felt she could trust eclipse and kylee...

Kylee blushed. How was it that EVERYONE knew about her dad?
"Yeah," she said quietly. "C'mon, let's go." She limped out of the dark room.

saphira sighed. "like the other boy you were with earlier.... im...... different......"

Kylee looked at Saphira. How did she know about him?
"Different, like spernatural powers different?" she asked.

"uhh... yea... sorta." she sighed. kylee was so....... kind. she was so...... dark... why?

i scanned the ground, and noticing a sheath almost like it was made for the sword, i picked it up, and putting it on, made sure my new sword was safely inside.

saphira looked over her shoulder at eclipse, closed her eyes and opened them. "come on. we`re still in danger." saphira said urgently.

[Master Angel]

"No way," Kylee said to Saphira. "Did you see that thing back there? You guys beat him up pretty good!"

I slowly took the tension off of the bowstring and put the bow and arrows back into my pack. Something glinted on the ground and I called to everyone else "wait a sec, I want to check this out." It turned out to be a coin. Picking it up, I flipped it into the air, watching the glint of it...growing? As I caaught, a doorway if you will opened in midair, glowing blue in the black of the cave.

I watched, though not suprised. My shoulder felt like it was on fire, and I prayed it wouldn't get infected...

"Wow..." I gasped, breathless. I'd always heard that these mountains were full of the wonderous and magical but I'd always believed that what couldn't be seen couldn't exist. Well, I was seen=ing this now.

[Flygon trainer]

"suprising isn't it? These caves had held thousands of secrets, and you are the first in a long time to see them" I said. But my tone was different. No longer the voice of a child, my tone implied, at the least, a fully mature adult.

"come on, eclipse. its just a bandage. it wont hurt you." saphira said.

[Flygon trainer]

"go. Get out of this area. There are more dangerous creatures then the one we delt with." I said in a dangerous tone.

saphira shook her head. "not without u." she said, stopping. "u cant sacrifece yourself for us."

My instincts kicked in almost immidiately as I turned to whatever was calling itself Eclipse and said "Like what? Yourself?"

[Flygon trainer]

"Do not argue with me. Go. Now." I said, getting out my sword.

[Psychotic_Demon]

saphira whiped out her bow and arrow. "im good at aruging. come on." she said in her sweetest voice.

I pulled the knife out of my hand and said "I think not. Not until I hear an explanation."

saphira nodded. "im with him"

[Flygon trainer]

"you have gotten your explanation. Follow my advice, and get out of here" I said, not moving.

"Not really" was my only reply. I tacked on "I really don't want to have to write a letter of condolences to Eclipse's parents. Who are you?"

[Flygon trainer]

"Still the kid you know." I said, though I did not meet his eyes.

"who, me or eclipse?" saphira asked.

"we're sure" I replied dryly. "What happened?"

"that is none of your consern. All you need to know is you have to get out of here is you want to live. I'll catch up" I said darkly, my sword starting to glow black.

My own arrows started glowing silver, this time with flames instead of the lightning I'd seen before. Confused, but still as stubborn as ever I said "I'm not moving, but who's coming?"

"everyone..." saphira flattened herself against the wall, waiting...

"none of your consern" I said, before darting down a tunnel, blade at the ready. the area was pitch black, but I didn't care...

saphira followed, running at a slow pace to save energy. she could hear things up ahead...

[Flygon trainer]

"stop following me" I yelled, before reaching a large cavern. in the center was a brownish dragon, that looked more like a lizard. It wouldn't have looked too intimadating, if it wasn't for the fact it was as long as a bus.

[Psychotic_Demon]

"im not!" saphira snapped. she looked up at a huge dragon. "whoa..."

[Flygon trainer]

"do you understand now? get out of here!" I said, as the dragon sent a fireball directly at my feet, engulfing me in flames. I managed to roll to put out the flames, then got to my feet.

[~Ozy~]

The burst of fire had alerted me that something odd was going on. I slowed down after that, pressing myself against the uneven stone wall. I slowly pulled out my bow again, ready to fire.

[Flygon trainer]

"stubborn arn't you?" I said, as the dragon headed straight over to me, slashing me with it's claws. I had used my blade to deflect most of the blow, but I definatly felt the claws in my back.

[~Ozy~]

I shot off another three of the arrows, still glowing with silver flames. The firsst I'd fired at he heart, it glanced straight off of the dragon's iron-hard scales. The second buried itself in the roof of the open mouth of the beast, sending it screaming in pain. The last one I fired between the dragon's claws, catching the webbing between them and sticking into a crack in the wall.

saphira stood there. a light blue dragon came strait at her. she didnt move. reching out with her mind she called it.... the dragon stopped attacking her and was now confused. its ok... tell the others we mean no harm....

The pain of the arrows sent the dragon into a fury, but it kept it's focus on me, using it's claws to knock me to the ground. I was about to get to my feet, but I felt a heavy foot step directly on my back, pinning me. I managed to twist and send my blade into the monsters heart, but it manaded to score several deep blows before finally collapsing. as bad luck would have it, directly on me. Thankfully it didn't break anything, but it was hard to breathe

Somehow I felt a bit different. Seeing one of my charges attacked like that had set something off inside me. Without really understanding what I was doing, I fell to my knees and cried "Mystra...Help me.." Whoever that was, they seemed to respond. The same silver fire that had engulfed my arrows now covered my hands. Still without any concious control, I sent the flames streaking toward Eclipse, providing what healing they could.

yes. eclipse. the light blue drangon walked over to the dead one trying to push it off...

I felt some new power start to heal me, and normally I would have removed the energy, this time I simply remained still and felt the energy wash over my body, healing the most life-threatining wounds.

finally the dragon saphira had under control managed to push the dead one off eclipse. saphira ran over to her. "are you ok?" she asked, conserned.

The fire left my hands, whatever energy had created it now expended. I too ran up to eclipse, ready to help.

she didnt answer. "hey seth... uhh... what if there are more dragons? i cant control them all... but i might be able to give one to you..." her voice trailed off, as an earspliting roar shook the whole cave...

[Flygon trainer]

"I'm fine" I said, struggling to my feet. I was still sore, but the healing spell had assisted quite a bit. "I guess I have some explaining to do don't I?" I said.

[Psychotic_Demon]

saphira nodded and winced as another roar broke out.

[Flygon trainer]

"do not hold fear in your heart. That's not a dragon's roar. it's a geyser" I said calmly, not flinching at the sound

"Indeed" I added, recognizing the sound. It was a bit of comfort in an entirely new and strange world. I continued "And yes you do, young lady."

[Flygon trainer]

"i'm known as the cavern guardian. I was born and raised here, to prevent those unworthy from getting in, and the monsters inside from getting out" I started. "I joined this camping group in an attempt to lead you here, to see if you were worthy of learning of the secrets of the caverns. The weapons in your hands were made here, very few ever left the cavern, and because the weapons are back, thier powers are intact as well. Because you were able to properly use them I no longer held any doubts."

For some reason, despite a lifetime of doubts and sckepticism I took her words at face vlaue, merely nodding at the proclamation. I asked "And the gateway, I suppose backl that way" I added, pointing the way we'd come from casually.

[Flygon trainer]

"Yes, though there is one thing." I said, pausing for a moment beofre continuing "you are virtually invinsible here with your weapons. However, I am not, and becasue of that I deemed myself less worthy. You saw what the dragon did to me."

"Indeed" I said, continuing "But the gate. It seems familiar to me."

[Flygon trainer]

"I wouldn't be suprised. Not only do the weapons carry memories of thier own, but it's possible you've been here before." I said, slipping my blade into it's sheath.

"My dad gave me this bow" I said, hefting it again. "He calles it Taulmaril. Taulmaril the Heartseeker."

[Flygon trainer]

"my blade carries the memories of that bow. If I recall, it's based off the elements, Saphira's bow has the power of light, and I have the power of darkness. Pretty much your weapon is supreme. Yet another reason I do not consider myself worthy of your company" I said calmly.

"Worthy" I asked. I added, not knowing quite where the words came from "Child, if you deny the power of the trirumvirate you destroy it. Join me."

[Flygon trainer]

"my power is nothing compared to yours. I am nothing more than a hinderance." I said darkly.

Silver fire flew again from my...No, not really my, I was but a channel for a greater power right now. The fire flew from their fingertips, hitting Eclips square in the chest with shocking vionlence. Whatever force controlled me twisted my faace into a snarl of rage at her words, hissing "Then you would prefer death."

[Master Angel]

Whoa, you guys have done a lot since I was last here. Anyone wanna lemme in what what's happened? It's too much 2 read!

<OOC>We went off and fought a dragon, FT was reveald to be the guardian of the caver and filled us in on the weaapons, now she's being unworthy and I'm busy being angry at her.<OOC>

ic: "stop!" saphira shouted. the light blue dragon next to her growled. "if eclipse says she unworthy, then let her be. she could help up!" she said, and icey anger rising. "and eclipse... if my bow is the bow of light then why does it use ice?"

Whoever was controlling my actions swept one hand to the side, sending the flames racing toward Saphira against my will. My eyes began blazing silver as the rage of my puppeteer increased. I could feel the strain in every inch of my body but the flames refused to extinguish themselves.

saphira jumped, the silver flames just missing her. "what the...? seth! its me!" she shouted. the dragon she had calmed roared. in a light blue flash it was beside her, willing to help if nessicary...

Finally I spoke again, although this time in a voice not my own. She (and it was indeed a she) boomed throughtout the cavern "Seth? This puny mortal? Nay, he exists not except under the control of Mystra, Lady of Magic! Trifle with my and perish!" The silver flames arced from y fingertips once more, again towards Saphira and my own voice cried out in agony at the magical strain being put upon it.

saphira dodged again. she didnt know how long she could keep this up. the female voice spoke again. saphira moonstream, you are a danger to my thrown. either join me or perish. saphira cried out.

she spoke with her mind. dragon, i name you aurora. please! help me. suprizingly, a voice spoke back.

alright, i will help you. the light blue dragon flapped its silver wings and picked saphira up, letting her climb onto its back.

lets go. aurora said, apaerntly pleased that she could fight.

Mystra's control snapped my fingers out again, aiming for the neck of the dragon. The flames bent into a collar this time, apparently ready to imprison the dragon. Thankfully, my body had reached the limits of endurance and the flamess fell short as I collapsed into unconciousness.

aurora tried to get the collar off. she was enraged now. saphira held on for dear life. she froze the collar but knew it was hopeless to get it off. seth would have to...

I ha no idea of what was going on, all that I knew was a sense of peace as I floated through utter blackness. The first thing I heard was a faint "I told you so" as my father's face floated into view. "I know, I know" my mind muttered in reply. My father's head spoke again, saying "Return to the gate. Go through and find your fate." As he dissapeared, so did the blackness around me. I came to aching and facedown on the cave floor.

Kylee sat down. Everyone was gone. Everyone had left her. She should go find them!
Ky decided to try the last place everyone had been, the monster's room. She began the journey, remembering every twist and turn she had taken. Going through tunnels, along paths, the slimey wall, the white sand...
She arrived in the room. BUt it was different. There was nothing there. Shouldn't the body of the monster be there? There were only a few bloodstained tough bones left, some had peices of skin hanging off of them. Kylee put her hand to her mouth so she wouldn't scream. She turned around to go outside the room. It stunk in there. But the way was blocked by a dragon. Not a very big dragon. But still a very scarey dragon. It was black and gold. Please dont' kill me, Kylee thought, trying not to faint.
I won't, the dragon said, if you do not wish it.
"Whoa, did you just say that?" Kylee asked. Wait, she was talking to a dragon!
The dragon nodded its large scaley head. I need your help, and so do your friends. Get on my back. The small dragon lay down on the ground so Ky could sit on its back.
Ky walked over to the dragon and realized it was just a tiny bit bigger than herself. When she had swung her legs over the dragon's back it took off with a start, so quickly Ky nearly fell off.
I will take you to where we need to go, the dragon told her.
Kylee began to faintly wonder what she was gonna do when she began the most wonder and scarey journey of her life.

saphira and aurora could hear the flapping of distant wings. whos that? aurora asked, tilting her head.

i dont know... saphira answered, doing the same. they both peared into the darkness, straining to see what was there...

The dragon Kylee was on was flapping her wings loudly.
"Any chance we can tone it down a bit?" she asked. "I don't want any baddies finding us."
Sorry, but I can't, the dragon answered. I'm not a very good flier yet.
Kylee thought she saw something off in the distance, growing closer. Who's that? she thought.
It is one of your friends, the dragon answered.
"Saphira!" Kylee cried and jumped off the dragon to greet her friend.

saphira saw kylee. her eyes widened in amazement. "KY!" she called jumping off aurora. "where the heck where u?!? by the way, the is aurora. shes my friend."

I pushed myself wearily to my feet, careful to let my legs get used to the weight I was placing on them as I brushed the dirt off of myself. Looking over towards the entrance I siged with relief and said to the two girls "Thank God you're alright. Would you mind following me a bit further?"

[Master Angel]

"Seth! I wouldn't mind at all!" Kylee said.
Now you've found two of your friends, her dragon said.
"I wouldn't mind, but can this dragon here come too?"

[~Ozy~]

"Of course" I said brightly, walking off. I added to myself (and only myself) "I think we'll need the help."

[Psychotic_Demon]

saphira nodded. "hey seth, can u get this collar off aurora? your the one that put it on her..."

[~Ozy~]

I turned around briefly and said "I'll try" My hands reached forward towards the encircling silver fire as the dragon leaned her (I assume) head down towards me. The flames winked out almost instantly as I touched them. At the same time I felt some of my strength return to me.

Kylee watched in amazement as Seth made the collar on Aurora disappear.
I wish I could do that, Kylee thought to herself.

"Hey, stay outta my head!" Kylee said.

saphira watched the two argue. she welcomed aurora into her mind. you know... aurora began. you could do that with a bit of practice.

of course. and you and kylee are now dragon masters. bear the name well....

"Instructions from my father" was all I said to the two young Riders. I alked off, trusting that they would follow towards the gateway, wherever it led.

saphira did follow. "hey, uhh... what do you mean 'instructions from your father'?" she asked. "sry if i bothered you...." she added when aurora gave her a strange look.

"Call it a vision if you must" was my reply. after a moment of though I added "He told me to go to the gateway I opened while I was passed out."

"i believe you. that has happened to me before..." saphira said, looking at the ground. not because she was ashamed of anything, but because in was really, really hot...

The pathe back to the chamber the gate was relatively simple and I'd arrived withing minutes. The gate was still there, shimering blue in the gloom. Taking a deep breath I stepped through, preparing to for anything to happen. I came out the other side in paerfect condition, although a sight more different than the one I'd left I could not have imagined. dawn was breaking in our own world, yet here the first stars were winking in th sky. I was standing near the edge of a cliff more massive than could be believed, looking down over a cloudscape. The air was thin, nigh on unbreathable and frigid beyond belief.

[Master Angel]

Kylee jumped on her dragon and they flew through the portal and let down beside Seth.
"Brrr," Ky said. "Why is it so dark?"

saphira jumped onto auroras back. lets go... she said quietly. she couldnt shake off the feeling that they were being followed...

I didn't even hear Kylee, so entranced by the view was I. It was only when I felt my clothe beginning to literally freeze to my skin that I came back to reality and said shivering "Altitude." I started pacing around, trying to warm myself and more importantly, look for a way down.

saphira and aurora flew through the gate. "you can ride with us!" saphira said, no emotion showing on her face. "hang onto auroras tail."

Kylee jumped on her dragon.
"Where to?" she asked.

I nodded and climbed on, noticing something strange as my sleeves were pushed up. A wolf's head mark in exquisite detail wrapped around each of my forearms, the mouth looking as though it would bite my hand off at the wrist.

saphira could sence something. aurora could too. they rose into the air, and just for her own entertainment aurora snapped her wings shut and went into a nosedive...

The cold air rushing past my face was exhilirating, even if it was colder than it had been on the mountaintop. My clothes were drying out rapidly, just from the sheer speed of our descent.
