Ok, I'm coming back to Gary Edition, but Because it was so buggy, I'm redoing it.
There will be some things that are the same, and some changes.
Play the Super Buggy Pre-beta 1.2 if you wish(AT YOUR OWN RISK),but theres A glitch that prevents going past viridian city, to get past that, use Walk through walls codes.

The New Restarted Pre-beta 2.0 test will be released soon.

Some Bugs fixed, trainer backsprites added, and A battle with T in Pallet town.(Note, he is extremely tough and is not recomended untill Elilte Four is beaten.)

This is only 15% of the game, so don't think it's over yet!

Introduction:
I always favored Gary over Ash. I always wished there was a game that you get to play as Gary, see through his eyes, and defeat Ash once and for all at the Pokémon League! I've seen what we could do with rom hacking, and even though I'm not a pro hacker, I wanted to test myself, so I decided to make this hack.

Story:
You are the Grand(son/daughter) of Prof. Oak, a famous PKMN Professor. Both you and your neighbor receive your first Pokemon, and your adventure to fill the Pokedex with information for "Gramps" begins after you receive a Pokedex. You are to explore the region of Kanto, and become the PKMN league Champion!

Hmm, seems like you still gotta change a lot.

Starting in my own house, I talked to that Ruby/Sapphire guy. He said his name was T and I had to battle him without any pokemon. So I started again and talked to my sister but same thing happened.

Also, I took Eevee as I was told to but I got a squirtle. So I think this hack needs lot of help.

Keep it up, man.

As an idea, you should think about some other GYMs yourself as Gary metioned in the first season he had already won 10 badges.

Hey, you know in R/B/FR/LG it's not Gary, it's Blue (Green in Japan) and it's not Ash, it's Red, based of the manga "Pokemon Special", and it looks good so far.

I love how many hacks now seem to be focusing on remaking certain aspects of the anime. I think it's a neat idea, and I'm surprised that you were able to find some part of the anime that hasn't been done yet! =) Although, I don't quite understand something...I'm pretty sure on this...but, Gary never met Mew in the anime, right? So, why did you include him in this hack, other than for the sake of including Mew? I think Mewtwo would be more appropriate, and there is even a sprite of Mewtwo in that wierd suit-thingy floating around somewhere (I think you can get it with Elite Map?) Also, I don't understand the man-made safari...? Have you added any scripts yet? So far, it just looks like edited text. Anywho, nice idea! Hope you can do a good job with it.

This hack isn't a remake of the anime, it may have similarities, but it WILL have differences.

The Man-made Safari is to use the unused land in Vermilion to be able to catch Hoenn Pokemon, but they won't evolve untill you beat the elitle four.

The purpose of Mew is so people can catch legends, I may remove it(I'm not good with wildbattles) but for now, its there.

yea i agree on wat the guy above me said and also make gary arrogant so for once we can be a jerk in a pokemon game oh and i think there should be events where we can catch some of garys pokemon like a nidoking,alakazam,and arcanine but in their first form very early in the game also make alakazam evolve by level instead of trade that would be so kick ass

(am i allowed to say ass here if not sorry i got over excited i wish i was able to hack somtimes and i got all these ideas just piled up in my head if i learn to script ill definiteley make a hack )

Most trade evo's are already changed, most of em evolve somehwhere in the 40's/30's

Nidoran, Growlithe, and abra can already be caught in the wild...

Also, Text edits is a minor part in this hack, so most text edits won't be focused on to much...

The truck was a custom tile(I made it longer, and it works on grass), It had no behavior bites...

Also, that idea is possible, but very unlikely to ever happen in a hack, because even if you are able to do this, the gameplay would be messed up...
