Plot

No one knew why it was happening.

But one thing was for sure... it was happening.

Disease was spreading throughout all of Kanto. It started out simple, like as the common cold, then, it was followed by fevers spiking 107 degrees that wouldn't go down. No one knew how to cure it. People were dying everywhere. Pretty soon, everyone in Kanto was dead.

However...

You are one of the people in Kanto. You died, however, you feel alive again. You wake up on one of 17 islands as follows-

Plain Island- This island is a home for normal types. It is very simple, just wide open fields with the occasional lake.

Flame Island- This island is a home for fire types. There are many hot springs and volcanoes throughout the island.

Aqua Island- This island is a home for water types. There are many lakes and ponds, and even a cliff with a waterfall.

Blizzard Island- This island is a home for ice types. It is cold all year round and has many snow capped mountains.

Muscle Island- This island is a home for fighting types. It has many rocky mountains and has intense weather conditions all year.

Toxic Island- This island is a home for poison types. It is very dangerous for most other Pokemon to travel to, and has many pools full of acid.

Earth Island- This island is a home for ground types. It is very flat and has cracked ground. It often has earthquakes.

Static Island- This island is a home for electric types. It often has thunderstorms most of the year, but besides that, is much like Plain Island.

Feather Island- This island is a home for flying types. It is much like plain island, except with more trees.

Magic Island- This island is a home for psychic types. It is also like plain island, except for the fact that it seems to have a "magical" quality to it. Rainbows are often found here.

Insect Island- This island is a home for bug types. It is a very thick jungle. It is a lot like Plant Island, except that its jungles aren't as thick.

Plant Island- This island is a home for grass types. It has a jungle thicker than any of the other islands, many ponds, and a waterfall. It is warm most of the year.

Geo Island- This island is a home for rock types. It has many mountains, and the ground is very rocky.

Invisible Island- This island is a home for ghost types. It is a lot like Midnight Island, except that has no mountains and it occasionally is said to disappear.

Draco Island- This island is a home for dragon types. It has many ponds, and is much like Aqua Island, only slightly warmer and it has no waterfall.

Midnight Island- This island is a home for dark types. It has many dead trees and some mountains. The island is often very dark, and sunlight hardly ever hits this island.

Metallic Island- This island is a home for steel types. It is a lot like Plain Island except that it has no ponds and some mountains.

You wake up. Something feels... different. Maybe everything seems bigger, maybe it feels like you have a tail, but something feels different. You look at yourself more closely, and realize that there is in fact something different about you. You are a Pokemon. All you remember is your first name and perhaps some parts of your past, but nothing major, like how you became a Pokemon or how you died. Now, as a Pokemon, you must live out your life with all the other Pokemon already on the island. However, there will be bumps on the road. Maybe you'll try to figure out your past and how you got to the island you wake up on, maybe you'll try to get off the island, or maybe you just decide to live out your life as normally as you can as a Pokemon. What you want to make of your life as a Pokemon is up to you.

Species- Dustox
Name as a human- Dustin
Name as a Pokemon- Dustin
Personality- Dustin as a human, was very cautious. He would always wait for the other person to make a move before he did. He was mostly a loner. He was timid and shy with a dark atmosphere around him.
Though he was lonely, he love accesories, in which case he collected many items. Even after he became a pokemon he still collects many trinkets and nik-naks and enjoys giving them to friends as gifts. He was and is a caring person and will so anything
to help out anyone.
Shiny?- Yes, please.
History before becoming a Pokemon- Dustin had become a very powerful trainer using only Bug Type pokemon. He was skilled in inflicting status ailments and weakening foes. He and his pokemon were able to stay in battle longer than most
others. One day he was at a carnival enjoying some down time with his pokemon. His first and favorite Dustox was eating cotton candy like there was no tommorow, and Dustin was eatin ice cream, soaking up the sun that battered on the carnival grounds.
When they were done, Dustin and his pokemon went for a walk around the fair. Many people and pokemon were performing for the guests' enjoyment and for their own. Magby's and Munchlax's were working some of the snack stands, Pikachu's putting
on light shows for children, and various other pokemon just having fun.
After thirty minutes of walking around, Dustin noticed a booth with a sign that read "Get your fourtunes told here with Madam DeVoir!". This intrigued Dustin, so he walked in. The room was dark and candle lit. In the middle was a dark pink
table with a cloth over, and on the middle of the table sat a crystal diamond shaped ball.
"Sit down dear." said and old shakey voice. Dustin did as he told and not a moment after an old woman walked from behind a curtian dor. She sat down at the table and closed her eyes. She put her hands on the diamond and began to hum.
"Um..." started Dustin. The woman cut him off and began her fortune. "I see it. I see a plague wafting over this land! A plague that will bring horror to all who face it! No one will escape. Not you, nor I! The end is near! But you, you shall live again!
You not remember what life you held before." she said as she finished. Dustin ran out of the booth a little freaked by the fortune. He walked back to the heart of the carnival, when suddenly he became dizzy. He fell to his knees, worried because he did not know
what was happening. The last thing he saw, was his Dustox hovering above him, trying to get Dustin back to his feet.
Island- Insect Island
RP Sample- *From my own story*
Year 428
"Cover the western gate! Close the south gate and baracade it with our strongest men", a lieutenant shouted. "Let the men know we are not going to stop until every last one of them is dead", shouted another.
An onslaught of war was waging just outside of the room of Myran Talazoztz. He was the heir of the throne after his father. He would then lead the entire country of what is now known as Mexico.
He heard the screams of warriors as their lives came to a bloody end. The king, his father, was in the throne room holding off any and all of the enemy forces with great ease. His father was known as "The Demon", and for
great reasons. Myran, his father, and his entire family, were royal demons. Vampires to be exact. they were the strongest family in the world at the time. Myran, though, had something very unique about him.
The day he was born a royal shaman named Ali Ba Ba, saw that he had a certain strength he had in which no other vampire could. He ould use the same dark magic as the shamans o the world. In the past, if vampires would
attempt to learn this magic, or any magic for that matter, their lives would come to an end immediately. But Myran, learned to use a simple spell by the end of his first year of birth.
Myran heard his father scream in terror. He knew, that his father was now dead. The forces bursted through Myran's roo. Afraid, he fled. He ran in another room linked to his own. To his horror, he found that room filled
with the same people wanting to kill him. he was surrounded, backed into a corner like a trapped rat. One of the men laughed, "You patheic excuse of a vampire! You really think you could have held us off forever?" The man reached out to
grab Myran's arm. "No!", screamed Myran. The walls of the room grew and midnight black. Myran's eyes glew a dark, blood red. The man that tryed to grab him, was now dead. He exploded from the inside out, just as the next man, and the man
next to him, and so on and so forth, until all of the men, were finally dead.

Ok, I just realized I misspelled the title.

Can Loki or Alter Ego change it to The Reincarnation?

And by the way, you don't need to stay in the same island forever. You can travel to a different island.

Anyways, here's my sign up...

Species- Raichu

Name as a human- Abby MacElree

Name as a Pokemon- Abby

Personality- Abby as a human was what a lot of people would call "emo". She was very depressing and negative, and always looked at the glass as being half empty. She was very caring, however, and often tried her best to please people. However, she can be very mean due to her bipolar mood swings, and this is also the reason why she is depressed. Abby is also rather shy because of Aspergers Syndrome, and lacks social skills. She often stayed away from people for this reason. Abby, however, despite the fact that she is so negative, can be very cheery and positive too. Abby can also be very random, to the point where people sometimes don't even understand what she is saying. She often keeps her emotions to herself, unless you are a close friend of hers. Even though Abby may seem cold and antisocial at first, if you are nice to her and show her that you won't treat her like crap, she's a good friend.

Shiny?- Yes

History before becoming a Pokemon- Abby's history was rather eventful. Nothing much happened the first 3 years of her life. However, around her third birthday, her mother started noticing strange behaviors out of her. She lacked social skills, hated getting her hair brushed, was hyposensitive to pain, and chose to stay alone a majority of the time. At the age of 4, a doctor diagnosed her with Aspergers Syndrome, a form of Autism. Abby was very happy the next few years of her life, even during her parents divorce and moving at the age of 8. Well, she was happy until she moved at the age of 10, that is. Then, she started becoming very moody, and even started becoming suicidal. She got hospitalized for suicidal thoughts at the ages of 11, 12, and 13. Then, when she was 13, almost 14, she died and became a human.

Island- Static Island

RP Sample-

"Ugh..." Abby gradually opened her eyes. There was nothing but grass surrounding her. She sat up more. This looked nothing like what she had ever seen.

"Wh-where am I..? And why does everything seem huge?" Abby ran around. She could run a lot faster than when she was a human. This all seemed so weird. So saw two electric types, a Shinx and a Luxio, to be exact. The didn't look familiar at all. She looked at her reflection in a nearby pond. "Wh-what?! I'm a Raichu?!" Abby said this out loud, but didn't mean to.

"Yup! At least, you look like one!" Abby turned around. Surely enough, there was the Shinx.

"You were unconscious for awhile. Are you ok?" The Luxio walked up.

"Um... yeah... but... why am I a Raichu?"

"Well, a flash of light appeared, and then you landed on the ground. I'm not sure where you came from," The Luxio said.

"Um... this is weird... why am I like this? Uh... this makes no sense... I'm tired... I'm gonna go back to bed."

"Ok! Sleep well!" The Shinx said.

Abby walked for awhile, and found a cave. She decided she'd stay there for tonight. But none of this made any sense. She could have sworn she was a human before this. Now she was a Raichu. She needed to find out who she was, but first, she'd take a nap. After all, she was exhausted.

Species: Magnezone
Name as human: Tyro Akula
Name as Pokemon: Tyro
Personality: Tyro is a cheerful fellow most of the time. He has been described by one of his friends as having a "floaty" personality, something that is now highly ironic, seeing as he is now a Magnezone. Tyro loves to make friends, and has difficulty coping with the thought of other people hating him, unless he believes they are jerks themselves. Then he has no problem with it. He can be rather mean to people he dislikes, belittling and making fun of them at every opportunity. This is not to be confused with how he treats his good friends, which he will often poke fun at, but in a playful, good-hearted manner. But he knows not to do it with acquaintances, lest he causes himself to be looked upon disfavorably. Tyro is intelligent and logical, and loves to read, believing that it is far better than television, and saying to those who think otherwise that "It's like TV in your head!" He also has a strange fondness for orange juice.

History: Tyro lived in Cerulean city for most of his life, living a mostly average life. At school is had a large group of friends, and every year for his school's talent show he would sing a parody of a famous song with some of his friends as backup. He never really had a "best" friend, but instead had a close circle of 4-5 people he communicated with often, and a larger circle of other friends. This inner circle managed to stay in touch with him through middle school and high school. Tyro would usually score B's on tests and his report card with little effort, but he liked seeing that fabulous A on his card, so studied hard in everything except math, which was the only subject he ever really disliked. His parents, while on the outside seeming to be a happy couple, fought a lot, with arguments that seemed to shake the entire house, and probably would eventually have divorced had the disease not begun. Tyro and his family were one of the last to die of the disease, and his final days were extremely grim and lived in panic and despair.

Island: Static Island

RP Sample: (from The Final Level)

Level 1: The Empty Room
Players must wake up and get their bearings before the timer runs out. If they wish to avoid being machine-gunned, they must run out of the Level 1 arena immediately after coming to. A test of their responsiveness and thinking abilities.

"Welcome to the game." A voice, female, but lower in pitch than normal. Strangely mechanical, with odd nuances and emphasis. Sounding almost... menacing.

"Blaurrggg," Michael groaned. His head hurt slightly. Strange. He wasn't lying in his bedroom, next to his Pokemart.

Blinking to clear his blurry vision, Michael sat up on his butt and looked around. He was in a white, featureless room. In front of him lay a long hallway. Outside of which he could see trees and grass.

Where was he? He turned his head, scanning the walls of the room. He blinked. Now there were small discolorations on the walls. He blinked again. The discolorations were little tubes, attached to balls, mounted on the walls. They were pointing at him.

He leaned back slightly. The tubes moved, tracking his movement.

With a start, he realized what they were. Gun turrets.

"What the-" he gasped, but was cut short by a beeping behind him. He flipped over on the ground to see what it was.

Behind him was a digital clock, its red-and-black rectangle looking evil and sinister set admist its other surroundings. It was a timer. Counting down. 15... 14... 13...

Then it hit him. Like a tractor trailer. Guns that tracked him, and a timer. He needed no further explanation. He wanted to live.

Michael shot up from his position lying on the ground and sprinted down the wallway as fast as he possibly could. Faster than he had ever ran. There was a greater need to run than he had ever experience before.

Behind him, the beeping sound continued, strangely not lowered in volume by the increasing distance. But it was joined by something else. Gunshots.

Ever hear a gun in real life? It's not like in the movies, the little "pewpewpew".

Despite already running as fast as he could, Michael coaxed a little more speed from his legs, running a little faster than he possibly could. Behind him, BANGBANGABANGBANGBANGBANGBANG!!!

He exploded out of the hallway and rolled to a side to avoid the gunshots. His lungs felt like they were popped balloons. Gasping for breath, he looked down at his body. It seemed to be fine. He didn't feel any pain, except the ones in his lungs and the pain from sprinting like that in his legs.

He got up and looked around. Surrounding him were trees. A forest? It looked liek one, and smelled like one. Turning around, he didn't see the hallway he had come out of. Strange.

He looked up. The woods looked so ordinary. But there were glimmers of white poking through the openings in the leaves. White? But the skies were blue. He supposed it could be cloud cover, but wasn't it was a little too bright for that?

Level 2: The Black Forest
A spooky woods, filled with dangerous creatures, streams, and dark caves. Players beware, they're coming for you! And feast upon your bones they shall, unless you have the wits to escape a grisly fate. Other suprises are hidden in the woods as well... Sleeping is not advised.

A voice boomed out of nowhere, startling Michael. He jumped in terror. What now?

"Welcome, players! We appreciate your participation in The Game! For those of you who have just passed Level One, congratulations! For those of you who have not passed Level One, we apologize for the great deal of pain and suffering you must be feeling right now. That is, if you are still alive enough to hear me."

The voice was similar to the one from before, but higher in pitch, brighter, and it talked faster. It still sounded strangely mechanical, however.

"The Game is simple. Survival until a certain point allows you to proceed to the next level. Death means you lose."

"As for rules, there are very few, and most of them are for you to find out on your own. Certain actions will be looked upon favorably and increase your score, and some may allow you to proceed to the next level. Death or injury will subtract from your score. On occasion, we may provide you with helpful advice to guide the way. For example, fire is hot. Do not touch it unless you wish to be burned. On other occasions, a helpful pixie may appear to point you in the right direction. That is all for the moment."

"Now, are you ready for Level 2?"

This looks relatively interesting. I suppose I'll sign up.

Species- Jolteon

Name as a human- Zack Tellath

Name as a Pokemon- Jyn

Personality- Jyn is energetic and lively. He's always up for a challenge, and never backs down from a fight. His cockiness usually gets him in trouble, putting him in situations he can't handle, even though he thinks he can. Quick to make friends, he'll put his trust in anyone he thinks is nice. This makes him slightly ignorant, as someone could be planning to betray him, or be deceiving him, and he would never suspect it.
His cockiness and ignorance is balanced out with his strong sense of justice, and his willingness to defend, and become stronger in order to protect who he needs to.

Shiny?- No.

History before becoming a Pokemon- Ironically, "Zack" was nothing like "Jyn". Zack was a quiet type who kept to himself. He trusted nobody, and never stood up for anyone, much less for himself. The world depressed him, his life tainted darkly with the death of his mother when he was a little boy, showing him at an early age the cruelty of fate and the world.
He lived with his Dad, who payed no attention to him, and barely cared for him. Zack practically raised himself the best he could, and took care of himself and himself only. Because of this, he had very low self-esteem.
Zack had been sixteen when it happened. His death. He had thought of suicide once before... maybe many times. but he had never taken it seriously.
Zack had been going through a major state of depression when the fever hit. His father said that he willed it on himself, subconsciously or consciously wanting to die. The fever got worse every day, and it was only a week before Zack died.

Island- Static Island

RP Sample- [[From a different RP. and by the way, I probably won't RP in first person in this. If needed, I'll replace this with one in third person :/ ]]

I lay on my bed and continued my mental argument. There was no way to win this. There was no right way to decide. No way that would end peacefully. I had to choose. Who would I betray...?
I heard small footsteps make their way downstairs. I looked up, and saw through the crack of the door Stelladora, walking to Bastiaan's room. A chill ran up my spine. My heart's pace quickened dramatically.

This was it.
I had to choose. I had to choose now. I stood up and stared at the door. My palms were sweaty. I advanced to the door and opened it slightly, then went out and followed Stelladora downstairs.
I watched from a distance as she made her way to his room. She disappeared behind the door. I felt tears coming to my eyes. My breath came quickly, yet silently. My mind reeled to the point of being painful.
I sat on the floor a few yards away and stared at the door, my entire body shaking. It was so quiet. My ears started ringing. There's no time, no time.... Images of Bastiaan and Stelladora flashed in my head, then the image of Bastiaan, laying dead on his bed, when I could have saved him. His eyes, dull and lifeless.

In a sudden rush of energy I ran to the door faster than I knew I could run, and flung the door open with a shaking arm and cried out in a shrill voice.

"Bastiaan!"

Could ya save me a spot pwease =3
I would like to join this rp, but I cbf making a sign up just yet.
EDIT: Alright, lets see how this works out...

Species: Flaaffy
Name as human: Neaken
Name as pokemon: Alafy (most creative name ever, I know!)

Personality: Neaken is decidedly a quiet boy, and rarely starts conversations. He attempts to answer if spoken to, but it is easy to tell that he prefers to remain quiet. Very few things can cause any sort of emotion to register to Neaken, and more often than not it is difficult to read how he is feeling. The only thing that will get a reaction out of him is if any sort of danger is involved, in which case Neaken will run without thinking most of the time. As timid as he is, he will stand up for people who have earned his trust, a rare occasion. As a pokemon, this has remained more or less the same, but a few differences are noticeable. Now, Alafy is much more prone to bursts of joy or crying fits, sometimes both. Despite this new softness, deep down Alafy is still a calculating person who will run or hide if odds are not in his favor. Alafy has also gained a mischievous side. He's a joker and group oriented person on the outside, but his true nature still manages to shine through in tense situations. Being the practical person he is, Alafy does not yet believe that he has actually died and views this as a dream.

Not shiny.

History: Neaken lived a peaceful life in the small town of Lavender. Despite his care free upbringing, Neaken was never the jovial type and spent much of his time walking around Pokemon Tower, thinking of this and that. His morbid pondering caused him to became less and less social, until the majority of his time was spent deep in the Pokemon Tower or in the depths of his room. Because of this and the remoteness of Lavender, Neaken never caught the life threatening disease. However, on one of his customary walks, Neaken felt like taking a small rest at the side of a steep mountain, as the shade provided was a nice break from the strong rays of the summer sun. A lone boulder crashed into Neaken's leg, breaking the bone in half. After being hospitalized, Neaken easily caught the disease in the very place that was supposed to save him.

Island: Static Island, where else, I'm a flaaffy =P

RP Sample: Nooooooooo! I had a really good 'un, but the thread is gone D=
The gray early morning sky was filled with an uncomfortable chill. "I swear, if I can I'm gonna try to get transferred to the base in Fuschia. At least it's warm there," a young man in a black uniform muttered to himself. Pidgies could be heard breaking the early morning tranquility with their calls to one another, while rattata could be spotted rustling through the tall grass at the sides of the road to Pewter. He spotted a rustling in a bush a little ahead of him. "Looks like Jack has been having a little fun," Shane said to himself. He then muttered to cubone to use bonemarang on the bush. Though she looked puzzled, she did so none the less.

"Ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!!! Alright, alright, you got me!" shouted a voice from the bush as a man around Shane's age in a similar uniform emerged from the bush.

"Quiet you dunce, don't you know what stealth means." Shane said in a joking manner as he returned his cubone. "So Jack, how did you manage to get out of your job this time?" It was common knowledge among rockets that Jack Bramn was probably the lowest ranking grunt in the entire team and he was well known for his practical jokes. Most of which got him a dock in his pay. Jack and Shane were friends of sorts, as the joined Team Rocket on the same day. Shane gained ranks as Jack stayed the same, but they still had a strong bond.

"Well, the executive thinks that I'm out trying to nab some trainers pokemon," Jack replied with a goofy grin.

"Good luck next time you try that, once you come back empty handed five times in a row they'll start being suspicious," Shane said in a dark tone.

"Brighten up Shane!" was all Jack said in response. The duo continued on their way until they reached the east entrance to Pewter. "Hey I got an idea!" Jack said with glee. Oh no, here we go again. "Let's see if we can nab some loot of the museum, that way I can actualy not get yelled at by that executive of ours when I come back!"

"Really Jack, do you honestly think we can pull it of, besides, I'm already behind sceduale," Shane said, knowing that his friend still would probably not give up.

"Oh, I'm Shane and I can't have some fun once in a while because I'm a-"

"Ok, ok, I'll go with you just this once," said Shane, cutting off Jack's imitaition of himself. They slowly crept toward the entrance to the museum, not making any sound in the still morning air. Luckily no one was up yet and the streets were silent. As Shane reached the entrance he released his toxicroak to use his poison claw to melt the lock off of the door. I can't beleive Jack talked me in to this. The door slowly opened as they both entered the quiet museum.

Island:Static Island

Rp Sample: (This is from another Rp)Brandon's mom woke him up at 3:00 A.M. "Mom." Brandon moaned. "Why did you wake me up so early?" "Well Mr. you have to get packed, get dressed, and then you have to head over to Newbark Town by 10:00 A.M." said Brandon's mother. "Newbark Town?! I have to go to Newbark Town? Isn't that in the Johto region?" asked Brandon. "Yes it is now you better hurry up. You'll make it by about 15 minutes if you leave at 5:00." said Brandon's mom. So Brandon got out of bed ran into his closet got his favorite clothes and ran to the bathroom. Brandon was so excited about getting his first pokemon that while he was on his way to the restroom he tripped and fell over his pants. "Owww." complained Brandon. He got up and went into the restroom got his clothes on and then brushed his teeth and hair. After he was finished he looked at the time...It was 4:45! Brandon ran downstairs as fast as he could. "Here's your backpack honey. I packed it for you while you were upstairs." said his mom. "Thanks mom." said Brandon. Brandon ran outside and hoped on his bike. "Now be sure to leave your bike with our friends the Byers when you get there." shouted Brandon's mom. "I will mom." shouted Brandon.

Brandon was on his way to Newbark Town. While he was riding his bike he took the time to look at the surrondings. He saw great gigantic trees as green as moss on the ground. He smelled frangrences that smelled like roses with never ending smell. Brandon loved adventuring. His mom often said that he was just like his father always wanting to go on adventures. He then noticed someone sitting in patch of grass next to there bike near the road. When Brandon got closer he reliezed that it was the kid he tackled way back when they were only 5. When Brandon rode by the kid (whose name was Michael) he got up and said "Hey if it isn't Brandon Scott the kid who never went to pokemon school." Michael got on his bike and rode up next to Brandon. "Leave me alone Michael." Brandon said. Michael looked at him as if he actually respected him. "Why are looking at me like that?" asked Brandon. "Because I used to pick on you everyday but you never gave up your dream on wanting to become a pokemon master." said Michael. "And I respect that." Michael said. "Oh well thanks." Brandon said. "Hey you know the forests and stuff in this pokemon world can be dangerous because of all the wild pokemon so you want to travel together?" asked Brandon. "What really? You want to travel with me?" asked Michael. "Not during the whole journey just until we get to Newbark Town." said Brandon. "Well.....Ok." said Michael. So Brandon and Michael rode their bikes the whole way to Newbark Town.

"Hey Michael I got to go to a friend's house to drop off my bike while I'm here." said Brandon. "Ok I'll see ya later then." said Michael. "See ya." said Brandon. Brandon went over to his friend's house and knocked on the door. "Hello?" answered someone. "Hey Matthew let me in it's Brandon." said Brandon. "Brandon hey man." said Matthew as he walke dout of the house and gave Brandon a hug. "Yeah I need to hurry though if I want my pokemon." said Brandon. "Ok well give me your bike and I'll put it in our storage room." said Matthew. "Ok thanks man." said Brandon. "I promise when I'm finished with my adventure and I'm going to go into another region I'll stop by and say hey." said Brandon. "Ok well talk to you then." said Matthew. After Brandon and Matthew talked Brandon sprinted to the pokemon laboratory reilizing that it was 9:55!! Brandon got there and knocked on the door. Proffessor Elm answered and said "Oh so you must be Brandon." said Elm. "How did you know?" asked Brandon. "Because everyone else showed up." said Elm. "Oh." said Brandon. Elm showed Brandon the pokeballs he could choose from and opened them all up. Out of the first ball came out a Vulpix. Out of the secound ball came a Mareep. And out of the third ball came out a Caterpie. "So which one do you want?" asked Elm. "Well I don't think that a fire type wouldn't work good with me. And I'm pretty sure that a Caterpie wouldn't work good either. So I'll take..." before Brandon could finish Mareep ran and jumped into Brandon's arms. "Well it seems to me that Mareep has taken quite a liking to you Brandon." said Elm. Elm then gave Brandon 5 pokeballs and a pokedex. Brandon thanked him and sent Mareep out. They ran outside and Brandon was really tired so Mareep and him took a little nap before they started there adventure together.

Species:Magby
Name as Human:Maximillion (Max for short)
Name as Pokemon:Max
Personality: Max is very micheveous. He doesn't mind getting punished for the pranks he pulls in fact he likes it. It shows to him that people are actually recognizing him. He feels left out when he sees people talking with their friends and he is sitting there with nobady to talk to and that is usually when he pulls pranks.
History before becoming a pokemon: When Max was born his mom died giving birth. Then when he turned 5 his dad started selling drugs. His dad wanted him to give the drugs to other people so his dad wouldn't get caught. One day though when his dad couldn't see him he saw policemen sitting in their cars. He went over to them and turned his father in. He was then taken to the orpanage. When he was 10 he was still at the orphanage and his father came in the door. He looked at his father in horror. His dad came over and apologized for what he made his son do when he was 5. He then fell to the ground and died. Then Max reliezed that his dad had caught the terribled flu and had died because of it.

A few months after his dad had died Max had caught the disease along with half of the orphanage kids. The orphanage was cruel and threw them out into the streets to die. Maximillion died in a back alley where nobody ever found his body.

Rp Sample: (It's the same as the first one...Srry I'll edit this part if needed).Brandon's mom woke him up at 3:00 A.M.

Another RP by Abby? I'm SOOOOO in!

Species- Charizard

Name as a human- Vanessa

Name as a Pokemon- Vanessa

Personality- Just a warning; Vanessa can be very abnormal at times, and not know what she is saying, really. She can be your friend one minute, and not know you the next, but then she's back to normal again. Like I said; very abnormal. Never let this fool you, though! Vanessa is actually very intelligent, as well as thoughtful. She is willing to stand up for something she believes in, but does understand that other people have opinions, too. When it comes to survival, she can become very selfish and unthoughtful of others, but when everything is fine, she is the exact opposite.

However, her bad side is the side you do not want to see. Her claws seem to sharpen before your eyes and Vanessa's normally sparkly, deep blue, and warm eyes turn a stone cold, bone chilling, and deep blood red. It's a scary expirience, but it is rare. Vanessa calls this the 'Defense Mode', and it only happens when her friends are endangered. She is deadly then, and tries her hardest to isolate herself. While we are on the topic of isolation, lets just move on to how well the shiny Charizard socializes.

Vanessa just cannot seem to stay away from other Pokemon unless they are enemies. She is beyond the word 'outgoing' by miles. Her 'talent' is turning the shortess story such as 'The Weedle used Posion Sting and made the Caterpie faint.' into a long-winded speech any day. It may not be others idea of a 'talent', but Vanessa never cares. It's something she can do that she is good at. She is also very fidgety sometimes, and will jump at the slightest noise sometimes. Other times, she will not be scared of any scary story or any prank. Vanessa doesnt care about what others think about her. To Vanessa, their opinion about herself doesnt matter. The Charizard does care about peoples opinions on other topics, though.

Shiny?- Yes (I'll try it. I already have the longest personality ever above. =P)

History before becoming a Pokemon- Vanessa first caught the cold when she was nine and three quarters, and at that time she was a great Pokemon trainer with three Gym Badges and a full team of Pokemon. The Pokemon that was her favorite was a shiny Charizard. Her temperture creeped upwards, starting at 97 and inching torwards one hundred withing two days. For others, they would have a temperture of about 105 right now, but something was slowing the temperture down. Vanesssa began to vommit often after 101, and her shiny Charizard was always there to comfort her, and stop her flowing tears. Her rich parents battled with the fever, bathing Vanessa in ice to stop the fever.

Nothing made it go down, but the ice bath kept it at 101. Then, the ice bath stopped keeping it at bay completely on her tenth birthday. It shot up to 106, horribly enough. She was always breaking out in a cold sweat, and only got about three hours of sleep a day. She wouldnt eat on her own, so her parents hired a doctor to come three times a day just to force feed her ground food through a tube. Then, the doctors job just got harder. Vanessa's parents came down with the illness, doing the same thing she did; except no one was there to give them an ice bath, not even the doctor, who was too busy with everyone being sick. Her parents died, and the doctor caught the illness too, and suffered the same fate. The poor ten year old girl died of immense high tempertures, starvation, and dehydration before the doctor had taken his last breath.

Island- Flame Island

RP Sample- (from The Final Level)

A feminine voice resounded in my dreams.

"Welcome to the games."

It seemed like a menacing whisper to me, and so it woke me up with a sudden start. I was in a hall, on a metal bed, with gun turrets pointing at me. I glanced down the hall to see a forest in the very far distance. All was fine.. All was fine.. Then, the words 'gun turrets' sunk in.

Wait! Gun turrets?!

There was a strange beeping noise behind me. I quickly looked behind me to see a digital clock.

15...14...13...12...

The first word that came to my mind: 'Bomb'. That alone was enough to get me outta here. But if I moved, I would get shot. But I had to take a chance, either way.

Then I took flight.

With somewhat of a leap, I lefted quickly into the air and started gliding quickly. And adding to that irritating beeping noise was a constant

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG

that followed me. There it was. The forest. It was almost in my grasp.

3...2...1...

Then, I made one final flap with my wings in attempt to make it out. I never felt the ground.

My eyes were closed, but it was still dark. I thought that if I would open my eyes, there would be a white nothingness, so I was scared to. That voice. It came.

"Welcome, players! We appreciate your participation in The Game! For those of you who have just passed Level One, congratulations! For those of you who have not passed Level One, we apologize for the great deal of pain and suffering you must be feeling right now. That is, if you are still alive enough to hear me."

A game?!

My eyes flickered open. I was on the ground, my wings wrapped around me.

The voice came from above. This was all a game for some sick minded people who wanted to watch us suffer?! I wasnt too tired though, thankfully.

Do not touch it unless you wish to be burned."

Fire? Dont touch it? I roll in fire. I sleep in fire. Why wouldnt I you idiots?

"On other occasions, a helpful pixie may appear to point you in the right direction. That is all for the moment."

"Now, are you ready for Level 2?"

Level two?! How many levels were there? Will we ever make it out alive?

Then, there was only the silence of the forest. It was too quiet. Too quiet for sure. Tremors shook the ground, and lots of them. It was an earthquake.

I turned around to see what looked like a giant bug rolling down the hill. I lifted into the air just in time to dodge the massive thing. It unravelled and to my great surprise, it was a centipede. It rose up to it's full height, which was the height I was in the air, and seemed to stare me down. It wriggled violently, and swungs around, trying to hit me.

That's when I realized that on the ground, there were human body parts, flesh, and every disgusting thing you could imagine. There were flesh, blood, and guts everywhere, pretty much. I wouldnt be able to dodge around much longer. I rose higher.

The centipede saw that I was too high to reach, and went along eating the decapitated body parts that littered the forest.

I flew down to the depths of the forest, and trudged along, hoping to find some company.

Typical. I'm ready to post last night, when there was only one person, but I get booted off the computer because my parnts are too lasy to start the other computer, then the site goes down... And now look at all these people, and the things started. Just my luck. Anyway, here we are:

Species- Gallade

Name as a human- John

Name as a Pokemon- Thaetus

Personality- John is a calm, quiet and serious individual. He is very withdrawn, generally preferring to be on his own, doing his own thing, or just with his close friends. He prefers to hang back and watch others at first than diving straight in, working out how the place works and how each person might react. He tends not to get caught up in rowdy and boisterous behaviour that some people get into, though this does not prevent him sitting on the sidelines with a slight smile, watching the action. He finds it hard to make and keep friends, but is extremely close to the ones he makes. He has learnt to take offence on the chin, and has a clever remark for every occasion. Though he has learnt not to use them constantly (after a lot of trouble), his arsenal is extensive and ever expanding. After a lot of effort, he has learnt how to hide his emotions fairly well.

Thought most people were born knowing how to be social, John had none of this and had to work it out from scratch. Every bit of body language, every look, even things like fashion and trends, he had absolutely no perception of and had a lot of trouble with certain things for his life, seeing most of the fashions and trends as stupid. He often fails to pick up on those tiny little details that have big repercussions. One of the worst things was how people say one thing while meaning something different. Not sarcasm, but the things like “Does that hurt?” or “I have to go now.”

Shiny?- No

History before becoming a Pokemon- John was born in Ecruteak City, Johto, elder child of two. As a kid, he often withdrew, hiding from the large crowds. One of his only true friends was his Houndour, with which he formed a great bond. As he grew older, his lack of social skills came about having come about not only because of a disinclination to socialise, but a physical condition. Physically, he was a young boy; mentally, he was years older. After this, he suffered minor hell from his parents. Consciously or not, they treated him as a boy years older, and he hated it. On the other hand, his younger sister treated him like she was years older than him, and he left with his Pokemon as soon as he was 10.

In later years, he became a powerful trainer, predominantly using Dark, Psychic and Ghost Pokemon, fighting using strategy and cunning and winning many a battle for it. For his entire life, he remained a loner, his only friends his Pokemon and one person. He didn’t hate being around people in itself, but how he was use to people treating him. Then, at 16, he died. At a competition, he fought a old, psychic lady, and won both the battle and the competition. He shook hands with the lady, and her eyes widened. After the competition, she took him to the side. She spoke but a few words.

“I am sorry for you. This is the end of a beginning, and the beginning of the end. I am sorry for you, and for everyone. I am sorry that…” But, suddenly, she began to seize with a dreadful, heaving cough. She sunk to her knees, clutching her head, and before he knew a thing she was dead. He ran, and as he ran he saw people falling, displaying the same and similar symptoms. Then, after having run for what seemed for ever, she began to slow down in the centre of the woods, away from all the dying. He stopped a second to breathe. Suddenly, he sunk to his knees, his head roaring with pain, fire searing him on the inside. The fire swept through his body until he knew nothing but terrible, agonising pain. Then, he just knew nothing.

Island- Magic Island

RP Sample- John groaned as his vision came into focus. He was lying in a field of grass, he was vaguely numb all over, he hurt like hell and he was stuck. Groaning some more, he shook his head. Slowly, he floated skywards until his nose was no longer embedded in the dirt. Suddenly realising what he was doing, he came crashing down, yet again flat on the ground with his nose buried in the dirt. He stared at his hands. Or where his hands should be. Instead, there was a long green blade. He reached up and felt his head, and traced the edge of the ridge, like a helmet fused to his head. A Gallade. I’m a Gallade. He lay there for several minutes, groaning. Then, he slowly, agonisingly, pulled himself to his feet. He looked at the landscape more closely this time. He was in the centre of a vast plain, with light purple flowers dappled across the area. Not too far away there was a lake (at the thought, his throat crackled with thirst) and, in the distance was a forest and a hill.

He listened for a second, but he could hear nothing. He took the opportunity to examine himself more closely. He started to feel less numb now, and he began to notice the subtleties of his body. At the end of what appeared to be a solid blade, he could feel two subtle digits, which could… lock?... lock into position when he tried. He could feel the places where his body bended and stretched, and could feel taught power in every muscle, like a stretched rubber band. He released it in one arm, and it snapped out almost too fast to see, with great force. He closed his eyes to contemplate this but, unexpectedly, he felt a great void, a current gently flowing in and out of his head. He was about to speculate on what it was, but he was suddenly was overwhelmed by a rushing of images. He saw, as from a stranger’s eyes, a small boy, a growing teenager, a trainer (he somehow knew what each image was), an old lady, dying people, so many dead bodies…

He sunk to his knees. He felt that the images were of him, but he couldn’t remember anything, only feel. I was a human… John. I trained Pokemon. I was… good. I… remember them. There was an old lady… something about ends and beginnings, and people were dying. He was a psychic Pokemon, or something. Whatever the hell this was all about, he wasn’t just imagining it. What the hell happened, and why the hell am I here? He thought for a second. He was called John. Somehow that didn’t feel right now. Well, new body and all that, a few things are bound to change. Despite himself, he almost snorted. He thought for a second for a name, and one sort of floated up from, goodness-knows-where. Thaetus. That’ll do. Thaetus. Shaking off the tendrils of thought, he lifted himself up. He looked around, and suddenly there was a small technicolor flash. A cloud of lights appeared in front of him and quickly formed itself into a Pokemon, floating in the air.

Species- Fearow

Name as a human- Valerie

Name as a Pokemon- None, at least, not for now.

Personality- Valerie is, put simply, a stuck-up brat, in every aspect of the word. She expects everything she wants or needs to be given to her without any question, and only will accept the highest quality of anything. The mere idea of working for her needs is something she despises furiously.

When it comes to other people, she isn't necissarily all that bad... That is, as long as you don't provoke her (which is pretty easy to do). Any sort of insult, be it right in her face or vaguely implied, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Generally, though, she can be sociable and capable of working with others. She will not be "friendly" to others, but she will be "courteous". Or at least, she'll give it her best shot.

Being stubborn and headstrong doesn't exactly help Valerie out much either. The opinions and ideas of other people always come second to her own, in her views. If someone disagrees with her, she becomes irritable. And she's also quick to form grudges. All in all, a complete b... well, you know just what I'm trying to say.

Shiny?- No.

History before becoming a Pokemon-

Born into a highly-wealthy family, Valerie was brought up with pretty much anything she could ever want. She lived in a mansion. She had parents who hardly needed to work. She herself never was required to learn the merits and trials of effort. In fact, "spoiled" and "brat" were two words that could accurately describe Valerie. Her parents, believing she deserved anything and everything she desired, saw no reason for this to be a concern, however. As such, Valerie developed a nasty attitude (as well as a bit of a weight problem, by the way...).

There was one specific thing about Valerie's family, however, that would effect her dramatically. While many wealthy and practically "royal" people tended to keep Pokemon such as pure-bred Persians of excellent bloodlines, and loyal Arcanines who would obey any command, Valerie's parents had a strict policy against Pokemon. To these people, they were filthy and vile creatures, and the last thing they wanted was a ferocious beast running about in the house shedding and relieving itself as it pleased. Valerie, of course, was brought up to believe all Pokemon were disgusting, and their only purpose was to make living standards lower for humans. The sport of battling repulsed her and her parents and her family. They all wanted nothing to do with such creatures.

When Valerie was about fourteen, the disease had become a common threat in Kanto. Her parents believed tehy had nothing to worry about. After all, they were at the top of society, and above such silly things as illness. Even if she did catch the disease, surely they would be able to afford a simple cure... right? Wrong.

Valerie, the spoiled little girl who had lived a life of no real value, died in her bed at the hands of an uncurable disease that was slowly consuming the whole region of Kanto. She happened to be one of the earlier victims as well. Her parents grieved and sobbed and cried, but she would never know this. All she would discover was that she was, indeed, alive. Only, not at all the same as before. Valerie, the Pokemon-loathing brat, was now a Pokemon. And a vile, ugly Fearow at that...

Island- Feather Island

RP Sample- From A Journey:

In a flash of light, the Pokeball split open. A bright white burst of energy emerged and travelled down to the floor, seeming to explode with a miraculous sensation of excitement for Amelia. Ever so slowly, it cleared away, and the first Pokemon Amelia would befriend appeared.

The little thing was curled up tightly, and at first she thought it was not a Pokemon, but a peculiar yellow ball. Then she noticed its breathing, and saw tufts of white fur sticking out on its sides. Its whole back was a curled, round orb of bricklike golden-brown patterns in this position, and she could barely see a pair of triangular ears poking out from under what she guessed was its head.

"Oh, Sandshrew!" Elm said to the Pokemon in an encouraging tone, "It's okay. This is Amelia, your new trainer!"

"A... Sandshrew?" Amelia asked quizically. This wasn't exactly what she'd expected. She had been hoping for something neat and noticable, like a sparky little Shinx or a flaming Ponyta. But Sandshrew was just... well, plain. Ordinary. Nothing special. The look of disdain on her face was quite obvious for a few seconds. Then, the tiny creature nervously uncoiled itself.

Amelia turned her head down to her new Pokemon, and the first look it gave her melted her heart. Those eyes, big and black, stared up at her with hope and worry. Ears held slightly back, tail curled arounds its back paws... It almost looked scared of her. Please accept me, its eyes begged helplessly. Please. All I want is a loving trainer...

That was all it took. She scooped up the Sandshrew in her arms and gave it a tight hug. As if acknowledging her acceptance, it let her do this and made a small sound that was remotely similar to a purr. The white fur on its underbelly was so soft... as it it had never before been touched by anything...

"Haha," Oak laughed, "It looks like you two are already friends. That's good. We could tell based on what we'd heard about you that Sandshrew would be your perfect starter out of the bunch! You'll see that he's really quite friendly, and he's also quite a good battler as well. Just a bit shy at first; that's all."

So it's a he, eh? Amelia thought to herself, looking at the Sandshrew again, who was contently resting in her arms with a sleepy look.

"I suppose we'll have to give you these, now, Amelia," Professor Elm said, handing her five shrunken Pokeballs and a handheld device. Amelia set down Sandshrew and accepted the items, clipping the Pokeballs to her special belt (her mom got it for her saying it was specifically for this purpose). Upon seeing her confused expression while looking at the device, Elm's eyes widened. "So I see you're not familiar with the Pokedex! It's something most trainers use. Whenever you meet a Pokemon, it automatically records data on it to let you keep track of how many you've seen. It also comes with plenty of extra features, but you can figure them out for yourself later."

"Well, I'm assuming you know the basics of what to do, right?" Oak asked. "After all, you know about raising Pokemon if I'm correct, with your grandparants running the Day Care and Breeding Center back in Solaceon?" Amelia nodded, shoving the Pokedex into her right pocket. Besides, even if she did have trouble, she'd manage to find out what to do on her own with experience.

"Alright, then," Elm said conclusively, "Take care on your journey. And good luck with Sandshrew, too!"

"Should I put him back in his Pokeball now?" Amelia asked.

Elm shrugged. "You can if you want to. You don't have to, though."

Amelia picked her Pokemon up again, and with that, she stepped out of he room, Sandshrew in one arm and his Pokeball in the opposite hand.

OOC: Oh really? Alrighty. I'll kick it off. =D

IC:
Wonder.

That was what filled my mind constantly. I had no memory of ever being a Charmander, even. I was confunded by this, confused and... well... just confused. I thought this as I started at a steady glide upn the volcano.

Wonder.

If I was a Pokemon, I hatched from an egg. Which means, there must be the parents, right?

Wrong.

Is what I thought. I never got even a glimpse of my parents. Who where they? More importantly, where were they? At times, I would stare out at the glimmering sea, only to see nothing but water.

No spot on the horizon, no swimming Pokemon, and there werent even a Wingull in sight. Now, there may be Wingull and Pelliper, but I dont see them, but I highly doubt it. I sighed heavily.

I was halfway up the volcano. Correction; only half way.

I gave my leathery wings a flap or two to elevate me slightly. Well, the thing is, that I always wanted to go out to sea, just fly over it and see what I find.

More wonder.

Why hadnt I tried? I mean, I could easily fly over the sea at anytime. No problem. But I was so scared out of my witts to.

Even more wonder.

Why was I scared out of my witts, though? I'm a shiny Charizard for Arceus' sake! But, that sadly doesnt change the fact that I'm a fire type. Basically, Water + Fire= very bad idea.

Also, what if my wings give away, and I plummet into the depths of the ocean? What if I dont fall into the water, but never find anything? Another sigh, another flap of the wings, another glance upwards. Almost there.

I began to speed up (why didnt I do that before?) until I got so close I could touch the rocky rim. I landed on the thick rim with a loud

THUMP!

Pools of lava speckled the thick edge of the volcano, making it seem as if it were polka dotted. I climber into one of the deeper pools.

The same one I climbed into to rest, relax, and sleep for the five days so far. Or was it seven? Or six? Oh well, it doesnt amtter..

Everything was the same. Same routine. Same terrain. All the same.

Wake up, glide to hot spring to drink, forrage for some berries and such (I dont eat meat unless I have to.), wonder about my past, glide back up to the volcano, go to sleep, then it's as if someone presses a damn reset button every day.

I'm surprised I can remember about how many day's it's been...

Another sigh.

I sigh alot, for some reason. I cant help it.

I sunk quietly into the deep pool of water.

I swear.

That reset button was pressed in the middle of the time I slept.

As If I went back in time.

But that feeling was normal. it was the negative way I thought, I guess, that made it feel like that. Something about my negativeness did that to me.

Reset.

Species- Machamp

Name as a human- Victor

Name as a Pokemon- Victor

Personality- Victor is very straight-forward and very competitive. He will never say no to any type of compition. He has never lost anything, wich makes him very boastfull and self-confident. not only will he take you on in anything, but when he wins he will rub it in your face. But Victor is also well-diciplined when it comes to anything un-competitive. He has the best of manners in school, and, suprisingly, has never got into a fight.

Shiny?- no thanks

History before becoming a Pokemon- Victor was raised by very strict parents. His father beleived muscles made a man, so he forced Victor to play every sport out there, from Football to Feild Hockey. His mother was very strict at home. Victors room had to be spotless no more than 5 minutes after he woke up, or else he would get severly pumished. It's thanks to his mom and dad that Victor is the rugged and well-disiplined young man he was.

Island- Muscle Island
RP Sample- (this is just basically an intro for Victor)

Ugh.... Oh man...My head is killing me.. Victor thought to himself. He slowly sat up and rubbed his head with his hand. To his suprise, he felt the touch of two hands coming from the right side of his body.

"What the?!" Victor yelled in shock, he ran to a small puddle that was made by the intense raining and noticed he looked just like a Machamp. He started felling around his body to make sure he wasnt going crazy. When he noticed all four of his arms moving around his new body he was incredibly startled.

"Augh! Oh man....What is going on here?!? I know... I must've been training to hard and passed out....Yea, yea thats it. I passed out and now im having some sort of twisted nightmare." Victor said aloud in a paniced tone.

"Welcome to Muscle Island!!!" Someone shouted form behind Victor

Victor jumped in suprise, even more shooken up from being startled. He noticed a Machop and a Makuhita were greeting him.

"Hahaha...Haha! I..am..going.. CRAZY! Talking pokemon?! Ok,ok calm down Victor. You just need to wake up..." Victor proceeded to slap himself across the face many times. But of course, this was doing nothing but injuring him.

Machop looked at Makuhita with a confused look, then re-directed his attention to Victor. "Uhh, Sir? Are you ok?"

Victor was now aware that he wasnt dreaming, so he decided to get some information out of the Machop. "Ok bud, listen here. I have no clue why i am a Machamp, but i want to know where i am and why I'm here!"

"I already told you!" The machop said "You're on Muscle Island! Home to all fighting pokemon! I'm not exactly sure how you got here, but Makuhita found you laying unconsious over here and came and got me"

"Well this is just great. I seem to have amnesia too, the onlything i can remember is my name.." Victor said in a worried tone

"Well nothing to do now but get you settled in your new home, brother!" the machop said eagerly

Name as a human- Colin

Name as a Pokemon- Coal

Personality- Colin was generally happy with his life. At least, that was how he appeared to act. Inside he felt a whirlwind of emotions and the smallest act could bring him great joy and sadness. As such he was very withdrawn, yet manipulative of those near him, to seek information about others, and make himself feel better knowing their strengths and weaknesses. But his conscience usually stops him from using this against them, just to help himself. Unfortunately, he is hot-headed, and can turn violent if pushed to far to defend something he likes.

Shiny?- no

History before becoming a Pokemon- Colin was near the end of high school, having been chasing the same girl for almost a year, trying to get himself into their circle of friends. The It crowd, if you will. His friend had already managed it, and fed him information and gossip about them, a few secrets too. They were a nice bunch, the girls were all nice to him, but the guys were very defensive and sly comments were always aimed at him. Well, one day, turns out his friend went behind his back and informed them all of his feelings for this girl. Now, Colin had his own bunch of friends. Most were like him, and not happy. So, one day, after school, they jumped the lads of this group of popular kids, and beat them severely. Which may have had something to do with the car which drove him off of the cliff and onto the rocks below. He can't remember. His head hurts.

Island- Draco island

He padded slowly through the entrance of the city, the paved roads causing him to utter no sound of movement. The streetlights bore down brightly upon his handsome pale flesh, reflecting off the silver of his sword and cross pendant. He could easily hear the one which stalked him, the descendant of one of the vampire hunters that murdered Konrad's family. Quickly darting into the shadows, Konrad made his way into an underpass. The hunter followed, noisily cocking his pistol and gulping down his fear. Konrad faintly heard the man's blood pulse around his veins. As he entered the underground tunnel, the man raised the gun. The bullet pierced the air, nothing else. As the man opened his mouth in amazement he saw a emotionless face staring at him over it's shoulder.

'You fool. Many have failed in that task. I could have played with you, but I am thirsty, your blood sounds so inviting. You will pay for my family.'Konrad spoke softly, calmly, a menacing tone underneath. Leather shifted as he drew his twin pistols. The huge Desert Eagles pointed at the top of the tunnel. The man had begun sobbing, whimpering knowing his impending death. Quickly Konrad spun, his leather coat swinging round with him. two shots fired, both piercing the man. One hit his chest, the other his shoulder. He screamed in the lamplight as the black figure, it's pure white flesh standing over him. It came down, closer. He felt it breath, or thought he did. The scream was cut short as Konrad buried his teeth into the man's neck. He whimpered softly till a sharp pain ran to his brain, cut out fast as Konrad tore deep, tearing his windpipe and jugular from the man's throat. Blood dripped over his white flesh, his lips stained. He drew a black napkin from his coat inner pocket, wiping the red from himself the licking the crimson liquid from the cloth. He walked on, leaving the corpse leaking wide over the pavement. He had no idea about where to go, but knew he was safe, to a degree.

Neaken slowly opened his eyes, rubbing his forehead. Today he was supposed to get another scan of his leg. Ugh, I hate being in the hostpital. Neaken's vision was still fuzzy, and it was hard to see his exact surroundings. He looked over to his left, expecting to see a white table, but instead there was just tall, yellowish grass. I guess they're moving grass into the hospital... Neaken sleepily thought to himself while he slowly sat up in his bed. However, instead of laying in a bed, he was sitting on the ground. Grass and rocks? Neaken thought, wondering what those objects were doing in his hospital room. Aaaah! I'm not in the hospital! This revelation came to Neaken as his brain started working correctly. And... I'm pink! Neaken realized, looking down at his unfamiliar body. Instead of his normal human build, he had stubby little hands with no fingers. His legs were equally stubby, and only had one small toe each. I-I'm... soft? Neaken thought, feeling with his new hands the area where his neck would be. It was covered in a downy fluff that tickled his small hands. I'm in a field. And I'm not a human. I must be dreaming. Yes, that's it, only dreaming. Neaken reassured himself as he stood up so that he could barely see over the grass. Despite being a dream, the surrounding was quite realistic. There were dark thunder clouds over head so that a constant crackling sound could be faintly heard. There were a few steep mountains in the distance, but for the most part Neaken was surrounded by the same grass and small patches of rocky earth. What is this place? It seems like a terrible place to be in. At least this is a dream... or a nightmare. However, even as Neaken thought these words, something inside him felt at home in the surroundings. To his right, he could see a small pool of water. Realizing that he was quite thirsty, Neaken slowly walked over to the pool. When he bent down to take a sip, he was met with a strange sight. The pink skin, the soft fur... I'm a flaaffy! Just to make sure that he saw his reflection right, Neaken turned his head around to look at his back. Sure enough, there was a pink and black striped tail with a blue orb at the tip. Neaken slowly looked at his reflection once more. He had a pointed face with striped horns on the side of his head, all toped off with a cottony patch of white fluff. And, to make matters worse, his eyes where... cute? Bleh! Neaken thought to himself as he looked at his small watery eyes. Although Neaken was starting to become less confident about his statement of this being a dream, he refused to except the fact that this was real. I'll just walk around a bit. Once I wake up I'll be... I'll be... Oh no, I can't remember my name! Neaken jumped in surprise as he realized he couldn't remember anything from his past besides the fact that he had been in a hospital. Well, even if this is just a dream, I'll think of a name for myself. After taking a few sips of the water, Neaken came up with the name of Alafy. He didn't quite know why, but Alafy liked the sound of it. Now, to see what this dream has in store for me. Alafy thought as he marched toward the small group of mountains in the distance.

Species- Buizel

Name as a human- Kyle

Name as a Pokemon- (To everyone else) Buizel

Personality- As a human, he was one of those people that always went with the flow. He found no glory in being a leader and ahead of the time, and figured that if he kept everything right and in check, he would have a good life. He had, and wanted forever, the average lifestyle of an everyday human. When people in Kanto started getting sick and dying, he just didn’t know what to think of it. He was kept safe by his parents at home, saying things like the place was secure and the virus, or whatever it was that was getting people sick, could not reach them. But they were wrong, because somehow, it reached him. He died with that personality in check.

As a Pokemon, he awoke to so many different changes. First major change was his form. He was alarmed at first, unsure of what to think about it. He looked all over his body and confirmed that he had physically been changed into a Buizel. Not being a trainer himself, he didn’t know what to do at the time, and having that ‘go with the flow’ personality wasn’t helping. He had to be the leader of his own. It was at around this time that he caught a glimpse of his backside, which he witnessed with his own eyesight that he had only one round spot. Knowing a little about Buizel kind, he suddenly realized something that made him blush and immediately run and hide. He was not only reborn as a Pokemon, but reborn female as well.

Shiny?- No.

History before becoming a Pokemon- Kyle learned to do many things in life, but of the few he never got to try was the main craze of his world, Pokemon training. He never had big dreams about being a trainer, but he always thought that it would be great to find out what it was like to be one. He lived with his parents throughout his high school and was two years from graduating, when the sickness began. It had gotten really heavy over the months, and appeared to hit people at random. After so long, Kyle and his parents had made enough money to leave Kanto for good so as not to risk being infected by whatever was going around, causing people to die.

Only a week before they were scheduled to leave, Kyle was hit with the disease and had to stay at home. He got ever so sick in the following days, and authorities would not allow him to leave Kanto for fear of spreading the deadly syndrome. Kyle tried to make his parents laugh by telling them jokes he had heard on TV, but they weren’t laughing as much as he expected. It was as if he were poking fun at other people’s expense and they did not want to be seen laughing with him.

The day before they were originally set to leave, Kyle’s fever reached a deadly 110 degrees, and he died that night.

Island- Aqua Island

RP Sample-

It was worse than a headache. Headaches came and went within the span of a few hours, and maybe lasted only the very first hour if taken care of properly. This fever wouldn’t go away, and it was not as if Kyle did not know what would eventually come. He was scared of it, yes, but knew that he could not run away from it.

The moment he accepted it, even more pain reached his head. His parents were by his side, as well as a doctor from the Kanto Government. They took his temperature, and the doctor frowned upon reading the stats. 108 degrees. He took his parents away from his room and Kyle was left to squirm and scream at the constant ache and pain of the fever. It had never been that bad before.

Then he felt ever so week, and felt a tear slide slowly. He couldn’t stop it. It was only one, and when it reach his bedsheets, his eyes shut. He went to sleep in his room, and in his slumber, he died.

--

Wake. There was something hitting his face softly. It felt like something very familiar, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. He opened his eyes only to let water slap his face, slightly stronger than it looked the part.

Kyle sat up and looked around him. He was in some sort of cave with minimal light entering from above. The room was small, he could tell. The water was low too, but came from some direction from his right. He turned. There was a whole there where the water seeped in.

Sighing, he rubbed his thighs, feeling his pajamas. His fever was gone, that was a plus. Upon relaxing again though, he felt something off about his pajamas. They were furry. He looked down, and when his vision completely cleared, he found himself naked. But he was not a human. He was a Buizel.

His heart pounded for the brief moment, and he backed up to the walls. From the walls, he pounded again and shouted out aloud. “What’s going on here? Let me out!”

There was no one around to answer his call. He looked up where the light came. The walls didn’t seem very hard to climb, and the height wasn’t that big either. As much as he was very scared on the inside, he had to get out of there. He looked down his body again and felt the fur in front of him, tried to pull it off of his skin only to have the skin be pinched by the pull itself. This was his skin.

He felt his muzzle, now noticing it in his vision. It was there, and when he put his wet paws over his nose, he felt a strong ground scent aroma enter his nostrils which made him cough. It was the waters scent. It didn’t smell bad, but strong, and he didn’t even know water had a smell!

He sat on the water again and looked at his paws. He moved each tiny clawed toe, feeling fur rub against fur with them. It was not a good feeling, nor a bad one. It was just different. While he was at it, he noted the ring around his head. He touched it, and when he tried to pull on it, he felt his skin under it be tugged as well. It was locked on him. Then, there were the blue fins. All of this, he knew he would have to get used to. But he had to get out of there now.

He climbed the walls, almost all the way up. And its when that happened that a piece of rock collapsed, and he fell back to the ground.

All wet, he coughed and got back up again on wobbly feet. His head was slightly dizzy, so he leaned against the rock wall. There, he curled his two tails around him and hugged them. Following them to his back, he found them connected to his but. He really wished he didn’t look back there though, as he found something more.

There was only one white spot.

Now, he wasn’t a professional at Pokemon traits, but knew this well from a friend. Buizel with two spots on their backside are male. That means…

He suddenly realized how empty it felt between his legs, and looked down to confirm. At this point, he, now realizing something he did not want to know, yelled and screamed to the air and climbed at the wall once again, yelling and grunting all the way. Once up top, he found himself in a rocky, grass area. He ran no longer screaming into the woods, only thinking about his situation.

He tripped over a tree root and rolled down a hill. It’s here where he landed on a pond. When he stood, he got a good look at his reflection. He stayed there for a good few seconds, then punched at the mirror image and ran back to the trees, where he, now knowing to refer to himself as a she, curled against the shade of the trunk.

She didn’t know what to do.

He heard the car screech, then rev its engines and keep going. He could hear the lap of waves far below him. He turned, seeing the car, and his eyes shot open wide. His body was shattered as it struck. It braked hard, just stopping on the edge, Colin flying over, smashing like a ripe fruit on the rock below.

++++++

He opened his eyes sharp. His heart beat so hard in his chest he thought it would once more burst. He could see a stone wall in front of him, the light a dull golden glow from another end of the cave. He got up, which was more of a roll, and suddenly realized he was on all fours. Not just that, but he was smaller than before, and his mouth was much bigger. He snapped once, opening and closing his maw fast. He had rather large, sharp teeth as well. He plodded forwards. The light came from a hole at the top of the cave. It was very warm inside, and slightly humid. A pool of water lay at the edge. It was wide, and looked deep.

So thats the way in.

As he reached the water, the glare from the light above reflecting dancing patterns of water everywhere, he saw himself. He jumped back. He was a dusty blue colour with a red belly. He could feel the large fin on his head and, looked again in curiosity. He was... a ... gible? Where did that name come from. Suddenly he remembered. The car. He was called... Col... Colin? Coal. That would do. Gible. Not that bad. He suddenly felt an added strength, of body and mind he didn't no before. His skin felt tougher, his muscles stronger. Something deep inside was unleashed. He was.... He was a dragon.

A head suddenly popped from the water.

'Hey, your new.' came a voice. It was a dratini.

'You can talk?' he asked, taken aback.

'Well duh, so can you. What did you think I was, a magikarp?' it laughed, slitering into his cave.

'Im Col..Coal.' he finished.

'Well thats nice. You better get out. This isn't a garchomp cave. Its clearly a salamence hole. Come on, we need to go.' it said. It sounded worried.

'Do I have a cut in my fin, dratini?' he asked, nervously moving into the water. It was warm, but didn't feel right to him.

'Yeh. What happened to you?'

'Good, im still male. I... died... and then I woke up as....' he trailed off, moving deeper, and paddled wildly. He moved slowly, dratini ahead of him. His fin split the surface as they went. When the daylight hit him, he blinked. Paddling to the edge of what was a river evidently, he wrenched himself out of the water and shook himself. He sat back, his small forelegs touching his skin. He was scaly. And hungry.

Dratini laughed as his belly rumbled.

'Come on, there are some berries over here. We don't eat each other here. Magikarp all dwell on the different islands, and conflict here is to be avoided at all costs.' it said, slithering onto the bank and taking him into the subtropical forest, palm trees and scrub giving way to thicker jungle. A waterfall rumbled ahead of them, and when saw it, he sighed. It glistened in the sunlight. Berries crowded the waters edge. He leaped forward eagerly, wolfing blue, round berries down. The juice coated his lips (If he had them) and the dratini laughed, slipping again into its watery home.

'Hey you going to eat all of them?' another voice asked from nearby. He turned. It was a Shellgon.

'So...Sorry. I didn't realize.' he stuttered, greatly afraid of the larger dragon pokemon.

'Its alright kid. Tell me, where you from? Gible don't usually come here.' he said, turning to him and the dratini.

'I found him in ole' Salamence hole.' it replied.

'Bloody hell! Close call.' the Shellgon cried, then laughed, eating some berries itself.

Caree!

They all turned up, Coal diving into the forest. They both laughed at him as the Altaria floated lazily through the sky.

'Hey Coal, come on out. Its an altaria.' the dratini laughed, and he slowly came out of hiding. He moved into the water.

'I am so dreaming. But... the car... now this. My friends? Her?' he wondered, but was stopped when he was splashed by the dratini flicking its tail. He growled lightly, an odd sound from deep in his throat, and splished some onto the water serpent with his fin.

'What other islands are there?' he asked, suddenly stopping the fun.

'There is one for each pokemon variety. Each suits their.... favoured environment. Many leave them, to find others to befriend or fight. This is, evidently, Draco island. Most Gible like you are on the Earth island. Ground pokemon live there.' he said. He was taken aback. Pokemon lived on their own islands? And could talk?

'So, can we go see some of these?' he asked.

'Sorry, I must leave.' the shellgon said, taking off into the undergrowth.

'Come on, this way.' the dratini sighed, slithering out of the water. He followed eagerly. They came out on a beach, which stretched wide. Sure enough, island dotted the horizon. The closest was very green, seeming a giant jungle. Another was one which appeared to have storm clouds over it, a large mountain, and what looked very rugged terrain.

'Thats plant and muscle island. There is Aqua.' the dratini said, pointing with its tail to the watery islands nearby.

A Kirlia appeared in midair, hovering about three feet above the ground with its eyes closed. It opened its eyes, blinked a bit, and widen its eyes when… she?...noticed him. He looked at her, and realised that his eyes were slightly wet. His front was covered in dirt too. When she spoke (he just knew it was a she), she spoke softly and gently.
“Hello. Who are you?” He was half expecting to hear a string of “Kir-kirlia”s, but it did not really surprise him that it came out more legibly.
“Thaetus.” He glanced around. “Why are you here?”
“I saw a flash of light, and felt a sort of ripple.” She looked him up and down. “Are you OK?”

He looked himself up and down. Yes, he did look a cause of concern. “I don’t particularly remember. I just found myself here.” He didn’t think going into detail as of yet was such a good idea. She gave him a look, and he had a feeling that she knew there was something else, but didn’t want to press him.
“Anyway, you need to get cleaned up. I know where there’s a lake. Come with me.” She held out a hand. He stood still for a fraction of a second, but then he took her hand. She closed her eyes, and then Thaetus surge through him, merging with every inch of his body. He felt it surge through his head, and instantaneously, a shockwave drove through him. He felt energy, alien energy, psychic energy, focused in his mind, merging with the energy flowing through him. Suddenly, he felt as though he had been blind but could now see. He could feel the flow of energy in and out of his mind, he could feel the void, but what it was he did not know. He could feel other parts of his mind too, aspects of his body hidden to him, perhaps hidden to most humans. Before he could capitalise on this, however, the energy had rushed through his entire being and merged until he and the energy, he and the Kirlia (it struck him he didn’t know here name) were a single nebula of energy. He felt his body dissipate, and felt his body scattering like mist, merging into every atom of existence, still bound by his conscience and psychic energy.

His mind went reeling and he saw a brief flash of pure, purple light. Before he could do anything but be astonished, he felt his body reforming faster than he could keep pace of, his body has drawn itself together in a fraction of a second, drawing itself in from everything into a pure white mass of energy, which solidified and split into him and the Kirlia, still holding hands. He had experienced the likes of which he had never imagined, a part of his mind he had never dreamed possible awakened, he had done the impossible. And it had taken but a fraction of a second, and the Kirlia holding hands with him was completely causal, as though she had done this millions of times. She probably had, come to that. She’d’ have been born with it. Yanking himself to the present, he glanced around. He was next to a lake, surrounded by a small woods. He shook himself again. He’d explore this new aspect of himself later. Right now, he needed a wash. And a drink.

(Scott's)

Scott woke up."Oh ga. My head is killing me." complained Scott. "Huh...were am I?" wondered Scott. He got up. "Woah I feel really short." said Scott. "My legs feel stubby and I fell like electricity is going right throuhg me." said Scott. He walked over to a lake to get something to drink. When he looked into the lake at himself he looked strange. "I am yellow? I have red cheeks? I have a tail!? I have ears to!????" yelled Scott confused. He ran around in circles trieng to figure out what happened but he couldn't. "Ohhh man what the heck is wrong with me???? I remember being a human but that's it!!!!!" Scott yelled.

Scott ran over to a tree and sat there very very confused. He looked around for some sort of answer and suddenly he saw a Shinx walk by. "Hey. Where am I at?" yelled Scott at the Shinx. The Shinx stared at him like he was some sort of crazy. "Well matey you're on Static Island." said the Shinx. "Home to all electric pokemon." it said. "But I'm supposed to be a human. I'm not supposed to be a pokemon I'm a human...Aren't I?" said Scott very confused. The Shinx stared at him and then told him all about Static Island. "I guess I should just live like a pokemon...for now." thought Scott.

Suddenly the wind got stronger and Scott was almost thrust into the air because of it. It started raining and before Scott knew it it started thundering too. "Don't worry it's just a thunder storm. We get them like every day. You'll get used to it." said the Shinx assuringly. Scott walked around the Island during the storm. He came to a clearing on the beach. He stared across the ocean as if he could see his home. His home the place he could walk inside and not worry about a thing.

Scott walked near what seemed like the tallest tree on the Island and sat there. The lightning was so fierde that it hit the tree and then hit Scott! "Ouch." yelled Scott even though it didn't hurt. Scott walked around the island more until he found a cave. he decided to stay there until the storm died down a little. He tried to go to sleep, but how could he? He wasn't supposed to be there...right?

(Max's)

"Oh my aching head." said Max. "Where the heck am I?' he asked. He looked up and noticed a Vulpix staring at him. "Ahhhhhhh. Giant Vulpix!!!!!!!" yelled Max. "What are you talking about???" asked the Vulpix. "Vulpixs aren't supposed to be as big as a human!" said Max. "Your not a human. You're a normal Magby." said the Vulpix. Max didn't believe him. He ran over to the hot springs and sure enough he was red, he had claws, and he had a tail. He could also breath fire. "See?" asked Vulpix. "You're a normal Magby." said the Vulpix. "I mean I was just a human a little while ago...Wasn't I?" asked Max confused. "A few minutes ago you were washed on shore and I took you here. "Where exactly is here?" asked Max. "This is flame Island. Home to all fire pokemon." said Vulpix.

Max went over to the hot springs and soaked in there for a little bit the Vulpix left and he sat there and thought. He was trying to figure out how he had become a pokemon. He walked to the shore and looked at the Island. In the middle it looked like, there was a volcano and he saw many pokemon on the island. He saw a Growlithe, an Cyndaquil, and he even saw in the air what looked like a Moltres. He went back to the hot springs and went to bed.

Something pertrubed into Tyro's sleep. Blissful unconciousness, heavenly death, like the first star in the dark night far from civilization, gracefully peaceful, undisturbed, unshattered by the glares of the others.

Tyro did not breathe, and yet he felt no need to. He felt the soft grass brushing against his body, the soft, loamy soil beneath molding slightly to his body, supporting him in a way even the most expensive bed never could.

Tyro did not open his eyes. He wished to savor the sensation for a little while longer. If this was a dream, then let it last an eternity. If it wasn't, then he was in heaven.

Heaven...

He detected a soft whistling sound, beautiful in tone and perfect in pitch. The warm breeze of the wind, the source of the song, brushed against his skin. He smelled a tinge of salt in the wind, as though it were a sea wind. But there was also the smells of nature, the smell of a distant forest, of grass, and earth.

Am I in heaven?

Tyro opened his eyes. Clouds wheeled overhead, everchanging by the shifting wind. Was it wrong to say that this world was more real than the one he had once lived in? That its smells were stronger, that its touch was firmer, that the light that shone down from the sun above was so much brighter, that the sky seemed part of the world, rather than just in the background? Tyro didn't think so.

He rose from the ground and looked at the landscape stretched out before him. A rolling plain, a endless sea of grass, unmarred by man, dotted with Pokemon. He heard the soft whoosh of waves sliding up onto sand behind him, and turned around. The sea of grass ended in sand, and the soft roar of the ocean seemed to grow in volume. The sunlight struck the water at such an angle, and the sea seemed to sparkle and glow as though aflame.

Tyro rose into the air and fell again, stretching his body. For the first time ever, he felt truly blessed. He felt stronger than he ever had before, more physically fit, more powerful.

As he moved across the grass towards the beach, it was not for a long time until he noticed the strange things of his situation. He had no hands, nor feet. Instead of walking on two legs, he floated in the air. And his skin was not soft in the slightest; rather, it was as hard as steel, though not as cold.

He approached a rocky section of the shoreline, and gazed into one of the many pools of water that had been left behind as the tide pulled out. These tidal pools were home to many forms of life that existed nowhere else. They were also a great mirror.

As he stared into the water, his sense of bliss left him as he looked upon his face. If it could be said to be a face at all. An oval shape, with a single red eye, and a yellow antennae poking out from the top of his head.

I'm a... Magnezone?

Perhaps this wasn't heaven after all.

The pain stopped.

It was all so sudden. The burning ache that had rippled endlessly through Zack's body suddenly stopped, replaced with a numb feeling that filled his entire body. He couldn't move. Only small twitches were the result of trying desperately to sit up. His eyes couldn't move. They were locked on the hospital ceiling. He couldn't blink, but yet his eyes didn't burn with dryness.
Slowly, the vision of the ceiling shifted and blurred, like someone took the image and started moving it back and forth. Then it darkened. The now spinning image darkened until.... nothing.

There was nothing. Only an all consuming blackness. Zack felt like he was floating. Like the world had dropped from under him and he was floating in space. Endless, vast space that stood completely still. Not a single sound graced his ears. Not even the faint sound of air. Nothing.

Am I dead...? Zack was still able to think, barely.
Yes, that had to be it. The fever had finally taken him. He was dead. This was it. Where it all ended.
Consciousness faded softly, like falling asleep. It became harder and harder to think. To exist. His thoughts were a breath of a whisper, still fading.

And then something happened. What, Zack didn't know. His thoughts became louder in his head, it was easier to think. Like a meteorite falling through the atmosphere, Zack was falling, back down to Earth. It was too easy to think now. His mind reeled as life returned, as his body started to slowly function again.
Warmth. His cold body was graced with warmth. A sunny sort of warmth, like laying in the grass on a nice sunny day, and taking a nap. Sound. The sound of wind came first, as if setting everything back in motion. With the sound of wind came the sound of trees rustling lightly in the breeze, the sound of grass waving softly with the wind, and the sound of water.

He stirred, and took a long breath through his nose, like you do when you first wake up. The air was sweet, and fresh, like nothing he'd ever smelled before.
Did air always smell so good? he thought idly. Then his eyes opened. Sky. Blue, radiant, not a single cloud in the perfect blue. Wasn't there supposed to be something else there? He couldn't remember. He tried to sit up, but his body didn't feel right, so instead, he rolled over and stood on all fours. It seemed more... right. Wait. What? No, people don't stand on all fours. People. Humans. What's my name... Z-... Za.. no, wasn't it Jyn? Yes, that was it. How silly of me to forget.
Jyn looked down. Yellow paws. Hm. Interesting. He moved his foot back to look at the mysterious paw better, only to find that the paw moved. Oh wait. That's his paw. His paw? Paws? People don't have paws. Well, Jyn did. And what were the paws standing on? Grass. Green grass. That didn't seem right, somehow, but it was there. To the left was a stream. Even from this distance Jyn could see it's sparking and clear, clean look. Jyn was pretty thirsty.
Walking seemed easier now. Smoother, somehow. Maybe having four paws helped. Dipping his head, he lapped up some water. It tasted lovely. But people don't lap up water. They drink out of a cup.
But so what? I'm no human. I'm a... What was he? The reflection in the water told Jyn he was a Jolteon. Odd. Jyn didn't feel like he'd been a Jolteon before. Because well, he was dead. Or should be.

"Well nothing to do now but get you settled in your new home, brother!" the machop said eagerly.

May I join? I have two character ideas, if thats ok.

Species- Dragonite

Name as a human- Megumi Michiko

Name as a Pokemon- Megumi

Personality- Megumi is a very timid, shy, and caring girl. She absolutely detests fighting, in any way, shape or form, barely tolerating professional pokemon battles (but, as long as the pokemon were battling on their own free will, she was fine.) She is a very caring girl, just watching when someone needs help or needs a friend, and hates to see other people sad or upset. Your all-around kindhearted girl. Her kindheartedness can make her very naive at times though, and that tends to get her into all sorts of problems.

Shiny?- Nope

History before becoming a Pokemon- Megumi's father worked for a large global corporation (left unnamed due to a creativity lapse), which required her father to go where work needed him. Because of this, the family was always uprooted from wherever they happened to be living about once a year to move to some new location. Because of this reason, Megumi could never make any permanent friends, and grew timid and shy. For once she wished that she could stay in a single spot for more then a year or two, but that seemed like it would never happen. The families finances relied on her fathers work, and so it was impossible to change that.

Because she had no consistent human friends, she was forced to turn to her pokemon, Hikaru, a Dragonite that had grown from a dratini whom she saved from an abusive owner in Celadon city, who was obviously a frequent drinker and gambler (wich is how he got the pokemon in the first place.) She would talk to him when she was feeling sad or depressed, and he was always right there to listen to her. In him, she had found a permanent friend, or so she thought.

There came the time where Megumi contracted the same disease that seemed to be spreading all over the kanto region. Her temperature rose, and she was in bed practically all day. Hikaru stood beside her through the entire ordeal, always hoping she would get better. But in the end, like all the rest, she passed on.

Island- Draco Island

RP Sample- From Pokemon Annihilation: Conquest on serebii forums.

Megumi sighed as she looked down at the picture in her hands. It was a photo of her entire class that they took earlier this year. Well, at least it had been her class. They moved shortly after the picture had been taken, and now here they were, moving once again, merely five months after entering their current household.
She placed the photo in the box, and sealed it up to be brought down to the moving van (I say 'down' due to them being on the second floor.) Kai was sitting by the window to Megumi's room, watching Luso try to help get the box filled with all of Megumi's moms books into the van. Kai watched in amusement at the Riolu's attempts, knowing full well how many books the mom of the household actually owned, and already knowing it weighed many times more then the poor pokemon trying to move it. It was then that Hikaru came over and lifted the box for the pokemon, setting it inside the truck much more easily then the Riolu.
Luso marveled at his Sensei's abilities, while the Dragonite scratched the back of his head, saying it was nothing, really.
Hikaru began to head back into the house, with Luso marching right behind him, when something odd happened. Hikaru and Luso began to feel an uneasy feeling, like the type you feel when something big was about to happen. Hikaru, worried by said feeling, headed up the stairs for Megumi's room, Luso following right after, concerned about their friend.
However, the moment the two pokemon entered the girls room, there was a bright flash of light, and all four of them found themselved atop a large mountain, staring at a pokemon that they all believed to be a myth, who was telling them all some quite unbelievable things...

"Wha..." Megumi stammered, very confused by all that was happening, confused and afraid "What do you mean! S-since when has the world b-been in danger? Why do we have to save it? Whats going on!"
She felt a familiar hand upon her shoulder. It was Hikaru there to give support. It didn't matter what was going on, he would be there for her, the same with Kai, who jumped upon the dragonites shoulder, and Luso, who stood faithfully at his side. They would be there for their friend, and that made her feel a little better.

Lugia groaned a bit as his eyelids began to open, and he started to awaken from his unconscious state. He began to recall what had happened before he had fallen, only to wish he hadn't. The last things he remembered were seeing the beings whom used to be Zapdos and Moltres, give the orders to have him infected by a Deoxys, but after Arceus' rescue, everything began to blur. He looked over at Articuno, just as injured up as he was, and a pang of sadness went through his heart. Her two brothers had just been taken from her, and there was no way of telling if they ever would be able to return to normal, or if the only way to be with them again would be to become one of them. He could not help but feel like it was all his fault somehow. He wished there was something he could do, he would gladly give himself up in exchange for the three birds freedom at this point. He had never felt so powerless. He, a legendary pokemon, was coming to realize just how weak he really was...
It was then that he realized the humans. There were so many assembled, and in his current state, any one could throw an ultra ball and have a fairly good chance of catching him, however he knew that if Arceus had called them there, they should have been of pure hearts. He trusted Arceus, and held onto the hope that somehow, yes, somehow they would be able to get through this, stop the Deoxys, and reverse the infection. Yes... somehow...

Species- Grumpig

Name as a human- Leonard Davia

Name as a Pokemon- Yuudai (Yuu)

Personality- Yuu is a very calm, cool, and collected person. Even in battle, he tends not to show signs of stress, and almost always exibits what can only be described as a good mood. However, he has a habit of telling things like they are, and dosn't sugar-coat things much. He enjoys being around people, as he believes he spent enough time being alone. His relaxed attitude tends to get on peoples nerves, however, especially in times when a serious attitude is needed.

Shiny?- Nope

History before becoming a Pokemon- Leo seemed to be in an orphanage for almost his entire life. His parents supposedly died shortly after his birth, but he could never quite pin down the exact cause, as people usually gave him different stories. Leo tended to have the very bad luck of having friends adopted away shortly after he met them, and so for the first seven or so years of his life, what seemed like an eternity, he was stuck in the orphanage, friendless and alone.

One day though, what seemed to be a mericle happened to him. He was adopted by the president of the Pokétch company, and now suddenly found himself rich. He now lived in his new fathers mansion in the heights of Saffron City (though the Pokétch company was in Jubilife, his foster dad owned many homes) which was quite a change from the orphanage where he once lived.

However, he still found himself lonely. His new dad was always in Jubilife for business, or on a long trip for the same reason, leaving him alone at the mansion. Yes, there were the servants there to take care of him, but despite having all the luxuries that a teenage boy could want, he felt more alone then ever. He longed to go on an adventure like other pokemon trainers, but despite being the foster son of a millionaire, he lacked the funding to do so. For legal reasons, he didn't actually gain access to the money in his fathers fortune until he was 18. And so he waited, longing for the day when he turned 18, and was able to go search for a place that he thought he truly belonged in. However, about a week before his 18th birthday, he contracted the deadly disease that had been spreading throughout the region. He died the day before he turned 18, with nobody in the room when it had happened.

Island- Magic Island

RP Sample- From Pokemon Wars: Rise of the Darkhearts, on Serebii forums.

Leo floated through the large chamber, or at least his soul did, not fully aware of what was happening to him. Something was calling him to the area beneath the hole that Regigigas had opened, and so he floated twords it, but weather it was by his own free will (literally) or some other force he did not know.
He came upon a statue of a pokemon, and without giving much thought to it, his soul was sucked inside of its chest. His soul came to rest somewhere near the center of the body, and began to settle itself down, taking control of the body it was to live in for quite some time, possibly for the rest of its life. Once his soul was used to its new home, Typhlosion, the warrior of fire, opened his eyes once more, for the first time in fifteen thousand years.

Leo looked around at the new surroundings, and then looked down over the body he now inhabited. He turned in a circle to try and get a look at his back. Everything felt different, while at the same time it felt like he belonged in this body every bit as much as he did in his old one. He put a paw to his chest. His pokemon heart beat the same way his human one did, but he felt something else: a raging fire deep within him, sending warmth throughout his body. He decided to try something, and took a large breath inward, feeling the flames within him grow, before exhaling, intense flames coming from his mouth and creating a mane of fire around his neck. When flamethrower was over, he looked down at his paws, and spoke to himself.
"So its not an illusion... Im really a Typhlosion." He said "Some weird afterlife..."

He gazed at the souls of the remaining humans floating twords their new bodies. The way the spheres of light shined, it seemed like you were viewing all of the goodness and joy held within the person the soul belonged to. He reached out a paw to try and touch one that was passing him by, but quickly withdrew it. For some reason, he felt like something horrible would happen if you touched a persons soul, and so he just decided to watch the shimmering balls of light enter their new bodies, and not disturb them.

Valerie blinked. This was not her home. Nor her soft, warm bed where she would be able to sleep half of the day away. There were no strong scents of her mother's perfume, or the smell of breakfast being brought up to her. None of that. In fact, what she saw was quite the opposite.

She blinked again, growing terribly upset. There were trees. All round her, there were trees, green and tall and mighty. And she was in a tree herself, she realized. Somehow, through some peculiar means, she had ended up in a filthy, dirty tree. Trees existed only outside for a reason. The mere thought of touching one made Valerie wrinkle her nose in disgust. This time around, however, she found that she could not wrinkle her nose at all. Much more frightening was how this same nose appeared as a long pointed thing sticking out in front of her face.

Horrified, Valerie screamed at the top of her lungs, crying for her mother, or father, or someone to come tell her what was going on. Yet the sound that came from her throat was more of an abnoxious and strained screech than a scream of any real sort. This frightened her even more so, but she dared not "scream" again for fear of hearing that awful noise once more. Something was wrong. Something was terribly, horribly wrong.

She craned her neck down curiously and saw the ground, quite simply. Only, it was a ground held many, many feet below her. Of course. She was up in a tree. But in her panic, Valerie had forgotten this very important fact, and let out another ear-splitting cry. She cursed herself for doing so, still in a terrified panic, and struggled to grab onto the tree branch with a gripping hand. Only, the arm she reached out with wasn't an arm at all. It was a wing. A huge wing, covered in tannish-brown feathers, and who knows how many kinds of diseases. Mother had always said birds were filthy creatures.

Valerie didn't have time to be disgusted. The next thing she knew, her weight had shifted beneath her in her panic, and she was falling straight down. This was a simple moment of realization for her. If she'd fallen from a tree, she was falling. If she was falling, she would land. If she landed, she would splatter on the ground and be left with severe injuries, if not death. And, being Valerie and not a particularly intelligent and calm person, she was in a terrified wreck. But, some sort of urge came in. Could it be common sense? Instinct? More likely the latter, seeing as, once again, she was Valerie.

Arms-- no. Wings flapping. Force from below. Or, force from her, pushing her upward. Valerie opened her eyes. She was flying. The ground below seemed so far... Her stomach lurched. What if she stopped flying? She was guaranteed death from this altitude. But, once again, instinct saved her. She felt herself gowing down. Wings flapping more slowly. Pushing up at the air, rather than down on it. Before she knew it, she had landed. In a tree. Great. Right back where she'd started. And she still had no idea where, or what, she was.

Thaetus stood up in the lake flicking his head backwards and sending a spray of water flying through the air. He stretched, arcing his back, then waded out of the water and shook himself off. He glanced up at the sky, and decided to experiment with his newfound abilities. He walked over and settled down against a tree, closing his eyes and relaxing his body. He reached in his mind, and felt the edges of his mind, a almost imperceptible edge to the void. Breathing deeply, he reached into it with his mind. Instantly, his view of the world changed. If he compared it to the physical, he felt himself as a small ball of flickering light, his conscience tied to it. He was in the centre of what did seem to be a void, pitch black. As it stretched away from him, it got fuzzy and blurred, but the edge was expanding as he sat there, concentrating.

In a few seconds, he felt another pinprick of light on the edge of his focus. He focused his attention onto it and it came into focus, slightly brighter and tinted pinkish-purple. He felt a myriad of subtleties, some similarities and some differences, but could not identify any meanings. However, he found some extremely big differences, not subtleties but outright differences, and that made him stop and wonder. As he focused, he felt himself floating in the direction of the ball of light. As he focused on it more, he somehow felt it notice him, though he could not say how, and it floated towards him. As the edges overlapped and meshed together, he could feel the sentience in it, and could feel some of the surface traits of the light. Then he felt Mai the Kirlia’s voice in his mind flow through the bridge, curious.
“Yes? What is it?”
He felt a moment of surprise. So this it telepathy.
“Nothing. Just experimenting. Sorry”

Gently, not as fast as to seem rude, he drew apart, and floated away. He pushed his conscience against the edge of his minute sun, and felt it flowing out. He opened his eyes, and found himself exactly where he was sitting before. He pulled himself up, and then looked over at Mai. She was looking at him, sitting on a rock, then she stood up and wandered over. He panicked momentarily, hoping he hadn’t done something offensive, but she sat down next to him quite calmly.
“What was that about?” Inwardly, he breathed a sigh of relief. Hed been worried that he'd done something reeally bad.
“I was seeing what I could do with my mind. I’ve never experienced anything like it.” Mai peered at him. “Sorry?” He wondered what it was all about. Then, he silently cursed. I’ve never experienced anything like it. A psychic type, and a fully evolved one now he thought about it. Idiot. Talk yourself out of this one. However, she didn’t press him. She stared at him for a second, then her gaze softened and she leaned back. Goodness knows why. He’d have to think a bit more before he spoke in the future. They sat there for a bit, gazing up at the sky. Then she spoke, softly but questioningly.

“Who are you?”

OOC- Everyone is ~accepted~ that posted after my last post.

IC- Abby napped for a long time. She got up, and stretched. She yawned, looked at herself, and sighed.

"Well... looks like I'm still a Raichu. But why did this happen?" Abby was beyond confused.

"I think I remember being a human once... named Abby.... right? Well, I guess I'll go by that for now." She walked outside the cave, and decided to look around the island. It looked very plain.

"Nothing special about this island... I guess. Well, let's see..." All of a sudden, she heard a rumble in the sky.

"Wh-what was that? Was that thunder?!" She heard it again. Abby knew she had to run away. She loved lightning as a human, but she didn't like the idea of being struck by it. She ran... and ran... but even when using quick attack to run faster, it wasn't fast enough. She got struck by lightning. Abby thought she was done for.

However...

She wasn't.

Abby left out one small detail. She was a Raichu, which was an electric type Pokemon. Lightning doesn't hurt a Raichu, or at least, not that much. She actually felt stronger, like if she used an attack like thunder, it could kill someone. There was nothing but a tingling feeling in her now. She continued walking, to the beach, to be exact.

"What a pretty sight..." Abby thought to herself, looking at the waves crashing. She looked more closely. Abby saw other islands, within swimming distance, perhaps. One problem- Abby wasn't a strong swimmer. However, she forgot this minor detail, and dived into the water. Then, it hit her.

She wasn't a good swimmer... at all. Even less so as a Raichu. She drowned, calling for help. She kept calling, but no one heard her. Then, everything went black.

Abby was blacked out for serveral hours. She may not have remembered anything, but she drowned. However, she was saved right in the nick of time. By a Dragonair, to be exact. The found herself on the long, slender dragon's body when she woke up.

"Wh-where am I...? Am I in heaven?"

"Nope," The Dragonair started. "It was close, but I saved you."

"Th-thanks..." Abby said. And with that, she found herself riding on the Dragonair. She never surfed before as a human, but now that she was on this surfing board-like Pokemon, it was excelirerating. She had the time of her life, surfing on this Dragonair.

"Now, where would you like to go?"

"Uh..." Abby started. She wasn't sure.

Hm... Seems interesting this! And it has been a while for me on PC too. xD Hm... Guess I'll RP according to what's happening so far...

Species- Umbreon

Name as a human- Lloyd

Name as a Pokemon- Hm... Lloyd for now... until I can think of something better...

Personality- Lloyd has a personality condition which is affected directly by the moon and shifts according to the moon's cycle. When it's closer to a full moon, he becomes sly and cunning and when it's closer to a new moon, he is caring and supportive. Though regardless, Lloyd is often clumsy but always tries his hardest no matter the most simple of things. Though he constantly makes more work for him to do due to his clumsiness, he'd get right on top of whatever was needed done. His friendly demeanor, except when in full moon mode, has earned him many friends along with his sociable self. Lloyd has a tendency to drink tea in the afternoon under a tree.

Shiny?- Nope.

History before becoming a Pokemon- Lloyd lived in an average home with caring parents. He was well liked by the people he had influenced with his meeting and was typically happy. He'd go to school, help out around clubs and the school, though he'd make a mess of things quickly but would always clean things up. He has a natural ability to get along with just about anyone he doesn't really know so new students to him always get a greeting of some sort be it one of clumsiness or not. Things went well until his first year of high school. Lloyd's cold virus that had killed many people and many more to come, suddenly jumped to astonding ranges and killed him. Many of his fellow students had also died as well as his parents. Then however, he felt himself wake up as if it were all but a dream only to find himself in an unusual shape...

Island- Midnight Island

RP Sample-
"Cough cough... I'm alright, Mom. I don't want to be late for the entrance ceremony..." Lloyd muttered sleeping in his pajamas as his mother placed a thermometer into his mouth. His mother finally took out the thermometer and read it.

"You're at 98.9 degrees... I guess you're fine." she said as she walked down to the dining room to make breakfast.

"What about you mom?" Lloyd asked but his mom only smiled and went on her way. Lloyd quickly took a good 5 minutes to brush his teeth, washed his face, and got dressed for school. As he scrambled down the stairs, his mother had already placed two pieces of toast on a plate on the dining table for him. Lloyd swiftly devoured his toast almost forgetting to chew and made his way out the door. With a wave back, Lloyd shouted to his mother, "I'm off!" His mother smiled and just waved back as she watched her son run off.

Making sure he didn't trip on anything, Lloyd jogged calmly and was a good deal early for his entrance ceremony. Lloyd was the first to come followed shortly but a group consisting of seven of his middle school friends. The group became one and the boys high-fived each other while the girls giggled of their summer break. The meeting, however, was short-lived. Lloyd's cold had suddenly taken a spike up in temperature as well as the rest of the students. They were all fine for the moment but the overwhelming cold was determined to keep rising and soon they were unconscious on the concrete they stood on.

All Lloyd felt was an intense flame burning within him and his eyes were trying hard to focus but it did not respond. The vision upon him slowly turned into black until his eyelids could no longer receive any response from his brain. His body slowly burned within and finally, all he could feel was nothing as if he had been thrown into a dark abyss forever falling. He could see nothing nor feel or hear anything. He thought that that was the feeling of death until he felt a small breeze dance across his arms. Lloyd shivered at the feeling of it but then he thought to himself, "How?" He took up all his strength to raise his eyelids and slowly but surely, he was gazing upon the world again.

"Ugh.... I'm feeling so drained right now..." Lloyd mumbled as he tried to stand on four legs. "Wait four legs?" Lloyd took a moment to carefully inspect himself and he was shocked.

"What the... I'm an Umbreon!" he shouted as he stood up quickly. However, his sudden movement caused him to fall back down on his belly.

Shaking his head he wondered, "What the heck happened...." But he left the thought to drift in the back of his mind as he closed his eyes once more to feel the relaxing feel of sleeping but with a swishing tail.

URGH! FINALLY I'M DONE!.... and I have to hurry it up to catch up too lol...

OOC- Ok, you are ~pending~ for now.

IC- "What exactly do you mean by that?"

"There are 17 islands. You were on Static Island."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"What are they called?"

"I don't really know, to tell you the truth. I don't really live on any of the islands, I just swim throughout the seas. But would you like me to take you to a different island?"

"Sure." Abby said, as she rode the Dragonair through the seas.

"Well, here's a different island. I'm pretty sure it was called... um... Toxic Island?"

"Cool." The Dragonair got closer to the land, and Abby hopped off its back and jumped onto the island. She looked around after thanking the Dragonair. It didn't look very inhabitable, that's for sure.

"Hmm... looks like there's toxic pools everywhere," Abby thought to herself. "Maybe I gotta go off of the is-" She couldn't think straight anymore. The air was getting to poisonous for her to breath. She coughed a few times before finally passing out.

A few hours passed...

Abby gradually opened her eyes. She saw a Seviper, an Arbok, and an Ekans.

"Hehe... she's finally awake," The Ekans said. Abby couldn't tell, but the voice sounded feminine.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" The Arbok asked.

"Let's do it!" the Seviper said. Abby tried to say something, to ask what all of this was about, but before she knew it, toxic filled the air again, and Abby fell unconsious once again.

Dustin flapped his new gold wings. He sighed a long lonely sigh and flew towards the beach. It was only yesterday that he woke up and discovered he had became a pokemon. He woke up surrounded by other friendly bug type pokemon, all in apparent awe at his gold wings. It wass then that he noticed he had been turned into a Dustox. He was never one to complain about anythin, but this just made him freak so badly he couldn't help but go crazy. He had discovered he knew some attacks including Moonlight, Psybeam, Silver Wind, and String Shot. Ironicly all of the attacks his Dustox knew when he was still human.

"Am I a second copy of MY Dustox?" he asked himself. He knew that the answers would reveal themselves in time, and decided to accept that he was now a pokemon...but he hated how he sucked at flying.

Victor was being taken on a tour around the island by the machop, but he wasnt listening to a thing the pokemon was saying. Many thoughts were racing through his head at the speed of light.

"Why am I a pokemon?"

"Where is this island?"

"Is this just some crazy dream im having from that fever?"

Victor thought for a few more moments on the last thought "I remember so little, but i distincly remember that fever. The pain was exctruciating, my mother had told me not to excersize, but i had ignored her... I remember getting real dizzy after sparring with a Hitmonchan..Then, nothing..."

"We're here!!" the machop yelled to victor, snapping him out of his thoughts. "We're..where?" Victor asked.

"You have a real listening problem, dont you?" said the machop, slightly annoyed that he had been ignored. "This is your new house!" The machop pointed in the direction of a crudley built, stone house. Kind of like the ones you see cavemen living in.. "This is my home? i'ts just a bunch of rocks! You expect me to live here?" Victor said to the machop. "Umm, well we dont have anything more luxurious than this. All the highest evolutions get the nicest houses" said the machop.

"Yea, nice...whatever you say bud, whatever you say... I'm gonna get some shut-eye, if ya don't mind". victor slumped off into his new home and looked around. Everything was made of polished marble. Victor soon found a slate of marble next to a window, he assumed this was his bed. He walked over and plopped his muscular body down on the bed and fell asleep, hoping he would wake up as a normal human.

(Scott's)

The storm stopped. Scott walked outside and smelled the fresh air. His headache was gone now and he had a feeling about something. He didn't know what btu he did have a weird feeling. He walked around the island and nothing interesting was happening so he went over to the shoreline. He laid down were the water touched the sand and tried to figure things out. "Ok so I can use moves like Iron Tail, Thunderbolt, Thundershock, and Quick Attack, I have a tail, I have ears, I have red cheeks, and most important...I am yellow??? What has happened to me?" asked Scott to himself.

Scott sat there for a couple of hours and then a couple miles down a pokemon washed up on shore. Scott frantically got up and ran over to the pokemon. He came up to the pokemon, his own heart pumping with fear. He turned the pokemon over on it's back. He looked closer at the pokemon and noticed that it was a female Pachirisu. Scott then frantically pushed the Pachirisu back and forth to wake her up. Then she opened up her eyes and looked around. "Where am I." she asked. "Well to tell you the truth I don't really know that much either other then we're on an island called Static Island." said Scott. "Oh I'm sorry how rude of me. My name is Maranda. What's yours?" asked the girl. "Oh Maranda...That is a beautiful name. My name is Scott." said Scott bewildered.

He helped Maranda up and then showed her around. When he showed her his house for the time being she mentioned that she didn't have anywhere to sleep that night. Scott looked at and said "You can sleep here if ya want to." said Scott. Maranda accepted and then Scott took her hand. He showed her his favorite spot on the beach. Together they looked out at the sunset and what a sight it was. The water sparkled like it was alive and the waves moved back and forth from the shore like the ocean was breathing. While Maranda was looking at the sunset still Scott went over and picked up a beautiful white and blue pedaled flower. He put it between her ears. When the sun had fully set they went back to his cave and together they slept throuhg the night. It started to storm and Scott looked outside and there was a Magby that was getting drenched. "Come in here!" Scott yelled. The Magby ran inside and then sat down. "Thank you." the Magby said right before falling asleep.

(Max's)

Max woke up only to find being caried off by a Ninetales. "hey what are you doing? Put me down now!" Max yelled. "You can't sleep there. It is private property of what some people say is Entei's. People don't go in that area much anymore because their afraid that Entei would kill them. So I'm basically saving your life." Ninetales said. "Oh,but then why were you over there?" Max asked. "Because I saw you over there." Ninetales replied. Ninetales stopped moving and dropped Max in the sand of the shoreline. Max turned around to ask why Ninetales dropped him there but Ninetales was already gone.

Max sat there and put his foot into the water. He couldn't do it. He just couldn't swim. He remembered swimming when he was a human but it hurt to much as a pokemon. Max sat there for a few hours when a pokemon hit the back of his head. "Hey what's the big idead?" Max yelled and asked at the same time. "i'm sorry it's just I didn't see you and I was running from Entei." said the pokemon. "Oh. Well you saw Entei!?" Max asked. "yeah he was right behind me earlier." said the pokemon. When suddenly a pokemon jumped out of the bushs but it was just a Growlithe. "Ahhhhh Entei." the pokemon shouted as the Growlithe approached. The Growlithe touched the pokemon and said "You're it Poliwhirl!" Max knew that they were just playing a game and sat back down on the shoreline.

Max wanted to leave this island so bad but he couldn't swim. He looked across the ocean as far as he could. He saw what looked like tree tops. He wanted to leave so bad!! He was getting ready to give up on ever leaving this forsaken island when a Dragonite appeared out of nowere. "I noticed that you wanted to leave? Is that right?" the Dragonite asked. "Yeah I just want everything to be normal." Max said. "Well hop on I'll take you to an island were I know that someone else feels the same way about you." the Dragonite said. "Where?" Max asked. "To Static Island. Home to Electric pokemon far and wide." Dragonite said.

They arrived at Static Island a few hours later and Max walked across the shore. "He is a Pikachu." Dragonite yelled before he swam away. Max looked around for a Pikachu but didn't see one. He sat down under a tree and felt as though nothing in this world was sain anymore. He felt water. He looked up and it was going to start storming. He ran. He couldn't find any shelter. "Come on! Come in here." a Pikachu yelled for him to get inside his cave. Max ran inside and there was a boy Pikachu and a girl Pachirisu. "Thank you." Max said before drifting off into a deep sleep. Then the Pikachu and Pachirisu did too.

Jyn was running as fast as he could through the grass. Why, he didn't know. Because he could, he guessed. It felt good to run as fast as he could, which was faster than he was able to run before... before what? What was before this? He couldn't remember.

I don't know anything. I don't know where I am, who I am, or what happened before I woke up. Is this all just a dream? Something about this just doesn't feel right... like something about this is just off. I feel like I'm not supposed to be here. But then, where am I supposed to be? his thoughts wandered as the wind blew past his face. There was so much he didn't know... so much that didn't make sense.

"Am... I ... dead...?"
The words echoed through his mind, the fragment of a memory trying to reveal itself.
Falling through empty space. Silence.
Jyn's mind reeled as he tried to recall when or what the memory was. Why falling? When did this happen?

Jyn's concentration was broken when he reached the shore. Screeching to a stop, he observed the sea. Rather vast. Out in the distance, he saw bits of land on the horizon. More than bits, really. More like whole islands. They were islands.
"What's over there...?" he wondered out loud. He took a few steps back, grinning at the impossible idea that suddenly formed in his head.
"This will never work..." he sighed, preparing himself, then suddenly sprinting to the sea. A series of quick attacks (which thrilled Jyn that he could use them, for some reason) increased his speed dramatically. He closed his eyes and waited for the water to hit. And it did. On his paws.

He looked down, seeing himself run on water. He laughed, and forced himself to go faster, knowing that at this rate, he'd tire out within a few minutes.

"Alright, let's go to that island!" he said out loud, heading to toxic island.

Megumi slowly opened her eyes, still half-asleep, but noting that she felt much better then she had the previous night. The first thing she layed her eyes on was the Dragonite paw lying next to her. Her first assumption was that Hikaru had fallen asleep next to her. It had happened often after she contracted her deadly disease, as the loyal pokemon was worried sick about the girl.

"Good morning Hikaru..." Megumi muttered, still not fully awake "Guess what? I feel much better today. I think im actually good enough to get out of bed today..."

The girl happily swished her tail and reached out to shake the dragon pokemon awake, however this caused her to realize some things she rather would not have, and drew her fully awake. When she moved her arm, she did not see her own arm reaching out, but instead, the scaly arm she had believed to be Hikaru's moved. And did she just swish her... tail!? Megumi's eyes immediately shot open, and it became very apparent that she was not lying in her comfortable bed back at home, instead she was lying in the middle of a grassy field, and the dragonic arm that had just moved was attached to her own body!

Immediately scrambling to her feet, she looked down upon her new body. Her belly was covered in a white set of scales, with her sides and back covered with orange ones. Turning to look at her back, she could plainly see a tail extending from her rear, and a set of wings protruding from her back. She swished her tail once again and gently moved her wings. It felt so weird to move appendages she hadn't had before! Touching the top of her head, two antenna extended from her skull. She looked back down at her new claws.

"I-Im... H-Hikaru!?" She stammered. No, she was about a head smaller then her own faithful Dragonite, and not to mention a girl. However, she was a Dragonite, alone in some strange new place, and that was a huge problem.

"M-Mom?" She called out "D-Dad? H-Hikaru? A-Anybody!"

She was by herself and afraid, not having the slightest clue what was going on.

-----------------------------------------

Water washed over Leo's hand, causing him to awaken from his slumber. What had happened? He remembered falling asleep on his medical bed, feeling extremely hot, but past that... nothing. He could hear the slight sound of water. Was it the ocean? No, the waves were too quiet for that. Most likely it was a pond or lake of some sort. Slowly opening his eyes he discovered he was right, he was on the edge of a lake, which was defiantly not anything resembling his hospital. However, when he came to pull his hand out of the water, he found something that interested himself much more.

The hand that he had pulled out of the water appeared to be no hand at all, but rather a purple paw which was attached to a black arm. Leo stared at his 'hand' momentarily, before bringing his head over the lake to see his reflection. Sure enough, what greeted him was not his human face, but the mug of a Grumpig, complete with the two pearls sitting on the top of his head, a pig-like snout, and his pointed ears. He blinked, staring at his reflection with a look of curiosity on his face, and stood up, trying to get a better look at the rest of his body. A third black pearl sat at the middle of his round belly, where his black underside came to meet the purple part of his body. Turning back to look at his behind, indeed, he discovered a tail. He reached out and pulled it, watching its spring-like qualities as it pulled itself back in place. It felt real enough. He came back to looking at his purple paws. He had turned into a Grumpig. While most people would be surprised, or even scared at this sudden discovery, Leo actually found it quite amusing... He let out a chuckle, which in his new form came out as pig-like snorts. He paused for a second, surprised by the noises he produced, but a second later went back to his snorts of amusement. This whole situation seemed funny to him somehow.

"Interesting..." he said to nobody in particular, "A Grumpig eh? I think it suits me."

He stared at his reflection in the water once more, before taking a look at his surroundings. Around the perimeter of the lake were trees, which seemed to get thicker as they left the Lake area, eventually becoming a forest. Something nearby caught his attention though, most likely due to the fact that he had changed into a Grumpig. A section of dirt around the lake must not have been very compressed together, as the water that poured into it made a very fine pool of mud. Feeling the pig part of Grumpig stirring within him, he walked over, and submerged one of his legs inside. It was nice and cool, in a soothing kind of way, and after submerging his other leg, he found that it was actually quite deep, the mud coming up to his belly-pearl. Feeling relaxed, his body slumped, submerging almost everything except for his head, and let out a contented sigh.

"Life as a Grumpig, huh?" He asked out loud once more. He hadn't even considered once that this might all be a dream. "Its not so bad. Im a bit better off here then I was back there anyway..."

Letting out another content sigh, Leo gazed across the lake, seeing two green figures on the other side. He couldn't make them out clearly, but he could tell they were most likely members of the Ralts family. They were of no concern to him, however. At the moment, he was enjoying his mud bath, which he was finding more relaxing then the ones at five star resorts for some reason. He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the water and the wind, not having a care in the world.

Tyro stared out onto the horizon, at the magnificent way the world curved at its edge, at the beautiful, crystalline water, at the way it reflected the sun's rays, more dazzling than any sapphire or blue diamond. Little pieces of perturbed the turbulent surface, but they did not detract from the beauty of the ocean as a flaw would in a jewel. All they did was add to its beauty.

Tyro hated it. Hated it all. What force in the universe could have done this to him?

Some of the other Pokemon on this island had tried to talk to him. They were all electric types. This was an electric island. Tyro had refused to speak to them. And in turn, they had shunned him. Or so he thought.

Thunder rumbled in the distance. A storm, Tyro thought. It seemed this island always had storms. Lightning for the electric.

How did a Magnezone eat? How did a Magnezone breathe? He had neither mouth nor lungs, yet he was alive. But how long was he going to stay that way? He had no mouth, yet he felt hungry. How was he supposed to eat?

Answers would not be found here, but Tyro didn't know if he was searching for answers. He knew not what to do. Lost in a world beyond his meager human comprehension. Lost in the world of Pokemon. Where was he? He didn't know. What world lay outside this little island chain?

Picking a random island in the distance, he floated out above the water. Strange, that he no longer touched the ground, or water. Moving out across the ocean was no different than moving out across the wind. Tyro wondered how high he could go.

Species- Misdreavus

Name as a human- Scott

Name as a Pokemon- Shadow

Personality- Scott was very kind when he was a Human. Intelligent and witty, he loved to make others laugh. He cared for everyone, may they be his best friends or his arch enemies. He will do whatever it takes to save others, and will keep others safe even at the cost of his life. He isn't scared of death, but is of pain and will not cause himself to be hurt unless it is for another Person or Pokemon.

Scott was always mischievous in his life. Although me may appear harmless and a bit of a geek, he can play pranks and does like to get his revenge. Using his wit and brains, he can think of good comebacks and insults in a argument. He may also be a bit of a show off, saying all the facts and important things he knows.

Shiny?- no...

History before becoming a Pokemon- Scott was a Pokemon trainer in his pastlife. He lived in Sinnoh and only went over to Kanto with his Father to do some reasearch. he had a family and friends and was quiet famous in Sinnoh amongst Rookie trainers.

Island- Invisible Island.

RP Sample- Shadow gasped as he opened his eyes. It felt as if he had just been ripped apart and thrown out of a window from a 10story apartment. He spluttered and coughed as he got up and looked around. he appeared to be by a lake that was lit up only by moonlight. The grass beneath him was a dull green and the trees around him when drainer of life, crooked and bent.

I'm not sure if I will have another character but if I do, I will post the sign-up ;)

OOC- Toxic_Moonlight- The RP sample is a little short, but I know you can do better, so your ~accepted~.

IC- Abby woke up. Everything was a blur.

"Ugh... where am I...?" She studdered. Abby opened her eyes a little more and rubbed them, and saw a Bulbasaur.

"What... what happened?"

"You were drowning in that Toxic Pool so I saved you, basically," The Bulbasaur started. "I think these three snakes threw you in. They've been causing trouble everywhere."

Abby pondered this throught for a breaf moment, before she finally remembered.

"Now that I think about it, I think three snakes did knock me out..."

"Well, you need to get off this island. I'm thinking of going to Plant Island. Wanna come with me? I heard it's really nice there."

"Ok." The Bulbasaur lead her to the shore.

"Airy, where are you?" A head popped up. It looked just like the Dragonair that took her to this island earlier.

Thaetus focused on the void surrounding him, hard. He and Mai were still sat under the tree, still holding hands, but they weren’t just sitting there doing nothing. He felt Mai focus on a pebble and, as they were sharing minds, he could feel it too. He tried to find it himself, and then he had it. Everything around him was the void, but the pebble stood out as a shadowy shape. Mai felt out with a psychic tendril, and he let her draw from him too. The combined psychic energy strained against the edge of their mental sphere, then punctured it, slowly snaking out and towards the pebble. She felt her impregnate the pebble, and then he could feel it like he could feel his own body. Slowly, they exerted force together and the shadowy form of the pebble rose.
Trying to focus and still feel his body (a task he was helped in by Mai), he opened his eyes and saw the pebble floating. Nothing else unusual, just floating. Returning the void again, he sent a thought flickering through their connection to Mai. Slowly, she withdrew the tendril, and the stone fell. Concentrating even harder, he felt for the energy, gathering it and feed it through the sphere. In the physical world, his eyes began to glow blue. He felt a small wave of amusement from Mai and heard her voice in his head, giggling.
“No need for that much, it’s not as if its going to fight back.”

Acknowledging this with a pulse of thought, he drew in some of the energy, then slowly fed it into the pebble. Again, he felt the pebble, but this time the connection wasn’t quite as sharp and distinct. That’ll come with more practice, I suppose. Imagine I’ll get the idea of how much force is required, too. He lifted it up again, then slowly opened his eyes. Admittedly the pebble was jittering quite a bit, but it was floating and no one was helping him. He lost focus for a second as elation spread through him, and the pebble dropped. He felt Mai give a mental giggle. Giving a grin, he withdrew his focus. The pebble faded into the background,. Before, in the void he’d just seen pitch black. Now, he could just about see a few vague things, coming into more detail if he focused on them.
“No bad for an amateur. Now see what its like for me.”
He felt Mai withdraw from his immediate mind-space, but… he supposed it was the equivalent of leaving an opening. He slipped through the opening, and he felt her close it behind him. Now, he could see and feel what she did, but mental barriers blocked off everything else, the first thing she’d shown him. Now, when they looked into the void, he saw instead the landscape surrounding them as he did with his eyes, but in shades of grey and in less detail, a bit less clear than when he was focused. She felt his astonishment and laughed quietly.
“I know. My powers are stronger from practice, so I see clearer and can use them faster. You’ll get it in the end.” Then, Thaetus noticed something. A small sphere of light floated over on the other side of the bank. Concentrating on it, it came into more detail, and turned out to be a Grumpig. He wondered if he was also perusing them Mai sensed his curiosity and glanced over. She looked for a second, then lost interest and she withdrew. Thaetus glanced for a moment more, then returned to the pebble. He was determined to practice this for the rest of the day. He had these powers, and he was going to use them.

After a good thirty minutes or so, Leo decided he had been mud bathing long enough, and rose to his feet. Naturally, mud was sticking to his body, clinging to almost his entire form, however that is one of the advantages of taking a mud bath right next to a lake. Backing up a bit from the shore so he could get a running start, Leo jumped from the shore of the lake and into the water, making quite a big splash, where he proceeded to give himself a proper bath. Of course, there was no soap to be found, but pokemon had no access to such resources, so they were almost always dirty to some degree. However, the mud was removed from his body with relative ease, and he expected that at least a few types of germs were taken care of, so at the moment, he was fine.

Leo exited the lake, feeling cleaner and a bit more refreshed, and came to thinking about what he should do next. His 'bath' had entertained him for quite some time, but now he needed something else for his mind to be occupied with. Glancing across the lake, he noticed the two figures from earlier were still there. Three is a party, right? And he didn't see the point in simply wandering around by himself. If his species of pokemon was able to learn teleport, getting to the two figures would have been much easier, but alas, he could not, and simply dicided to walk around the lakes edge until he could get to them. And with the lake not being that big, it didn't take as much time as he had expected.

"Hello." He said simply, as he approached the two pokemon, revealed to be a Gallade and a Kirlia. As for what exactly he planned to do with these pokemon, he didn't exactly know. However, it beat being by himself.

-------------------------------------------------

Megumi wandered around for quite a while, every now and then cautiously looking over her shoulder as if she was being followed by someone.
She didn't want to be here. She wanted to go home. To be with her family once again. To be with Hikaru again... all of that seemed so far off though. First of all though, where in the world was she? She did not know of an island where so many Dragon-type pokemon lived. They were normally extremely rare back home, and there was no mapped place where so many could be found living like this.

She eventually stopped, and collapsed to her feet, leaning her back against a tree-trunk and swinging her tail around so she could grip it as if it were some type of stuffed animal. It still felt odd to get feelings from her tail. Practically everything felt odd in this new body. Sensations were different because she was feeling past a set of scales, not skin. When a strong wind blew by, she could feel her wings getting blown by it.

"I wanna go home..." She said to herself, almost on the verge of crying. True, she was not being that mature for a 15 year old girl, but who could blame her? She was scared. "I don't wanna be here... I wanna be back home... with everyone else..."

Shadow looked around. He had no idea what so ever where he was. There was a rumble in the distance and the air began to whistle through the trees. Shadow decided that he must adapt to this change. He could tell there was a storm coming, so he had to find shelter first, and discover how he became a Pokemon later. he found it suprisingly easy to float. just like walking, only using your mind, not your body. It was phisically tireing, but mentaly. It was hard to think whilst floating. he bobbed down a parting in the trees. It was much darker here, the moon couldn't penetarte the thick, lifeless tangle of the trees above him.

he came to a small cave. It wasn't much, made from mud rather than bricks. It was lucky there was no Pokemon there. At least, there wasn't any near the enterance. shadow sat on the floor, looking at the rain pour down. He wondered how he became a pokemon. He was gald he wasn't under the effects of the disease any more. He wasn't at boiling tempreture all the time and his family must be happy that he wasn't suffering. Then he realised, was he dead? Was his corpse still at home with his family, or is this not of death? Shadow pondered as he drifted to sleep...

Thaetus looked over his shoulder, dropping the two pebbles he was levitating, and saw the Grumpig they’d noticed a little while ago, amazing clean considering how he had been caped in mud up to his neck. He was still slightly wet from his dip (he remember how the sudden splash had brought such an unceremonious end to his concentration a little earlier) and his pearls were sparkling in the sun. He nodded at him.

“Hi. I’m Thaetus, and this is Mai.” The Kirlia also nodded towards the Grumpig. He glanced at the pearls lining the Grumpig’s head. He’d never quite seen anything like them. He was about to ask what the Grumpig was called, but then his stomach pointed out, yet again, that it was empty and that it did not like it. He gave in.
“Hey, do you know anywhere to get a bite to eat? I’m starving.” He directed the question at the Grumpig, but it was Mai that piped up.
“I know where we could get some food. Berries, fruit, honey, a few roots, even coconuts nearer the shore. All sorts. I’m not too picky.” She looked over at the Grumpig. “You fancy anything in particular?”

What to do, what to do? There she lay, curled up by herself in the shade of the trees shaking. She kept her eyes closed hoping only that when and if she ever decided to open them, she would find that this was just a dream. That the painful reminder of a reality headache would return to her, and she would be cringing and yelling for some help by her bed like she had been before.

She opened her eyes and was more or less disappointed.

Still, Kyle tried to think things through. How was she going to survive? Upon inspecting her surroundings and uncurling herself a little more so as to turn and span the view behind, she found that this place was very…wet. There was no way to describe it.

Well, there was a way to describe it. First of all, it was more of a woodland forest. Sniffing the air, she scented water coming from all sorts of directions. Mixed with the scents were the smells of different kinds of…Pokemon? The thought brought something scary to the table. If there were Pokemon here, were they hostile? Would they hurt her? She didn’t know how to fight! How was she supposed to defend herself?

Slowly and on all fours, she crawled away from her spot and clung closely to the canopy shadows that the trees cast. She darted silently and quickly. She did not realize how quick she was moving until she reached a section with a gap, with a flowing river.

All rivers went straight to a clearing. Would it be wise to follow it?

No, it was too risky. Who knows what would lie at the end.

But as she turned to find another way around, she looked back at the river’s flow. She began thinking, and her thoughts brought up an interesting fact. She was hungry, and happened to be thirsty as well.

Drinking from the river; was it…right? Possibly not. Kyle knew. She was a human. She used to be…

Upon thinking about her past, something scary happened; nothing was processed. She couldn’t remember about her past. She knew who she was and what happened the last week of her life, but before that was all a blank, up in smoke.

“What’s happening to me?” she questioned, looking at her paws. “Why am I a Pokemon?” Clenching her fist, she cried out, “Why am I a girl!”

She collapsed on the floor, stretched out. She couldn’t understand it, and in her fit of wild outburst, she could not contain herself. Again she found herself against a tree, and curled up in her fetal position, she fell asleep with nightmares.

Leo nodded back to the two pokemon who introduced themselves. The thought crossed his mind that he would have to introduce himself as well. However, a new life, he thought, constituted a new name. After all, the shortened form of Leonard, Leo, that he usually went by didn't really fit a Grumpig. Perhaps if he had became a part of the Shinx line, but not really a Grumpig.

"The names Yuudai." He responded "Yuu for short."

Yuu's own stomach growled at the idea of food. However, a new body meant possibly new taste buds, so he had no idea exactly what he liked.

"Anythings fine for me." He said to the Kirlia. He was a bit surprised that these pokemon were so hospitable, not that he minded or anything.

At the mention of eating berries and roots, Yuu realized that his new body had put him in the position of an herbivore. The only way to obtain the meat he had eaten in his human life was by killing other pokemon, with beef coming from Milktank and Tauros, chicken from the Torchic line, and pork from... well... him, It seemed more like cannibalism now then nutrition. He didn't care though. Chances were that he would get used to the pokemon way of eating fairly fast, considering he would probably be in his new form for quite a while...

As Tyro crossed the ocean at a stately pace, he was thinking.

He had a lot to think about.

His memory seemed faulty. He remembered being a human. He remembered school, he remembered his friends. He even remember a girl he had had a crush on in middle school. Her face and name, however, were beyond him. All he could remember was that she had been pretty, but just in what way she had been pretty, he couldn't remember. What had happened to the girl? He couldn't remember that either.

He had a feeling that his last days as a human had not been enjoyable. He remembered no specifics about that time, but he did remember some feelings. Despair, darkness. Like the walls of the world were closing in around him. Death, evil. Weakness in his body, without the will to live.

How had he survived that? Had he survived it? After all, he was a Magnezone now. Perhaps he had died, somehow, someway. Perhaps.

What power in the universe could do this? Turn a Pokemon into a human? He remembered a story about a legendary water Pokemon who could do such things. Switch the bodies of beings. He couldn't remember what that Pokemon's name was. He was sure it began with an M, though.

He floated up onto the shore of the island he had chosen. It looked a lot like the one he had just left. Grassy green fields, but there were a lot more lakes. A lot more water. Why was there so much water? This was an island, there wasn't supposed to be much water. Or so Tyro thought.

And there were Pokemon, seeming mostly of the Dragon type. Tyro ignored them, floating further into the island. He stopped by a small pond in a wooded area, surronded by trees. A Kingdra was hopping around in the water. Tyro stared at one of the trees, several meters away from the pond. Inexplicably, he felt angry. Why him? Why now? Why was he a Pokemon? Why wasn't there any help for him?

He felt power flow through his body. An arc of electricity, a jolt of energy. Pointing his magnets towards tree, he lashed out with a massive amount of voltage. An arc of yellow lightning blasted apart the trunk of the tree. The tree shook, but not toppling. His attack hadn't been powerful enough for that. Could he make it so? Maybe.

As he watched the tree burn, he felt calmer. Better. The fire was fascinating. Ethereal, everchanging, yet always the same. At least until it burned out. Of course it would. Even if it spread to the rest of the forest, it would burn out, sooner or later. Such was life, even though fire was not alive. Yet, it was also born, lived, and died.

He shuffled his way through the forest. Not too far from the pond, he spotted a Dragonite, lying with its back against the tree. Tyro wasn't quite sure, but the way the Dragonite was placed made him feel... strange. Was it pity? He thought he was feeling sorry for the Dragonite. Whatever had happened to it?

"Hey... you okay?" he murmered to the Dragonite. It felt strange, speaking for the first time since he awoke today. He opened no mouth, spat out no air, yet he was making sound. A electronic-sounding, warbling sound, but sound nonetheless. As the sound of his speech hung in the air, he wondered if the Dragonite could understand him. He knew on an intellectual level that all Pokemon could understand each other, but on a deeper level, he couldn't help but wonder.

"Yes, what do you need?"

"Can you please take us to Plant Island?"

"Sure."

"Thanks," The Bulbasaur said, as they hopped on the Dragonair's back. It was quite a ride, 2 Pokemon on the slim body of a Dragonair. Luckily, Raichu and Bulbasaur where both relatively small, so it was fine. The Dragonair dropped the two off at an island.

"Thanks," The Bulbasaur said.

"You're welcome!" Those were the last words of the Dragonair, apparently named Airy, before she dove back into the ocean.

"By the way," Abby started, "I never caught your name. What is it?"

"Bulby."

"Graaaaaaagh!!!" shouted Dusty. He was mad. He was confused. Most of all, he was hungry. He hadn't eaten since he woke up from the first morning. He had figured out how to use a couple of other moves, but nothing huge. A Double Team and, ironicly, Frustration. He had gotten the hang of the whole flying business. Just barely though. He could fly for about fifteen feet before crashing into the ground. He went towards one of the beaches he had found on the bug infested island. He noticed a large island not far from the beach in which he hovered above.

"Wonder if I can get over there?" he asked himself. He figured he had nothing better to do, so he tried. He went out for about fifteen feet, and, as expected, he crashed, right into the water.

Megumi was startled at the sudden voice speaking to her, making her jump slightly and squeeze her tail a bit harder. Looking at the pokemon addressing her, she found it to be... a Magnazone? What was one of those doing here? As far as she knew, only dragon-type pokemon resided on this island, and Magnazone themselves were fairly rare back home as well, only evolving in certain places of the world. However, this was not what troubled her at the moment.

Leaning away from the pokemon as if it was about to bite her (with what, she didn't know) there were several seconds of awkward silence, in which she tried to come up with words to say. In the end, it sounded almost exactly like what she had been telling herself earlier.

"...I... I have no idea where I am... T-this isnt my real body..." She stammered "I-I just wanna go home..."

The Dragonite jumped at Michael's speech, if speech it could be called. His, or her, for Michael couldn't tell, tail curled and seemed to tighten, and she grabbed it even harder, as though it were a small human child, tightening his hold on his precious blankie as thunder boomed outside.

It leaned back, away from him. Why, he did not know. The Dragonite seemed very afraid of nothing. Or, to be more precise, of everything.

"...I... I have no idea where I am... T-this isnt my real body... I-I just wanna go home..."

If he had still been capable of such a thing, Michael would have gasped, filling his nonexistent lungs with air. Could it be...?

Perhaps it would think him strange, but he decided to ask anyways. "Did you use to be a human?"

Coal wandered through the island, hopelessly confused at his situation.

'Im... a pokemon..' he muttered, not for the first time. Thick clouds blanketed the sky and rain was pouring down in sheets. He began to run. It felt strange to him, but the rain under his... claws? and streaming down his fin felt odd, new, somehow like it was meant to be. Thunder cracked through the black sky, blinding him for a second. A dark cave appeared first in his vision, the darkest thing around. He leapt into its dark, dry confines.

'Now this is where a gible should live.' he sighed, suddenly feeling at home in this dark cave. His eyes were yet to get used to the dark, but he could see two figures. One almost filled the space, and hovered awkwardly. The other was evidently a dragonite, from the small wings and thick tail. As colour filtered into his view, he realized it was a magnezone.

'I thought this was a dragon island?' he asked, forgetting the danger which could spring upon him.

'Did you use to be human?' the magnezone asked the obviously frightened dragonite.

'Wait, you two as well? Not just me?' he thought out loud, not realizing he had said it.

(Scott's)

Scott woke up. He looked over and noticed that the Magby was gone. He walked outside and went down by the ocean for a little stroll before he showed Maranda around a little bit more today. He was walking when he noticed the Magby staring at the sunrise. Scott looked over at it as he walked up behind the Magby.

"It's pretty huh?" Scott asked.

The Magby looked behind himself and saw Scott. "Uh huh." said the Magby.

"I haven't properly introduced myself yet have I? My name is Scott and it's a pleasure to meet ya!" Scott said to the Magby.

"My name is Max." the Magby said shyly.

They were talking more and they reliezed that they were basically the same because they had mysteriously been turned into pokemon. While they were doing this Maranda came up behind them. They were still talking not knowing that Maranda was behind them.

"So you don't want to leave this island...Scott?" Max asked.

"No. I mean at first I did but then I met Maranda and that all changed. Now I don't want to leave." Scott said blushing.

Maranda heard this and said "Awwwwwww that's soooo sweet Scott."

Scott turned around and saw Maranda standing there blusjing as red as a tomato. Scott jumped up and took ahold of Maranda's hand and walked away with her.

"Max we'll talk later...Ok?" Scott called back.

Maranda was so glad that he felt like that towards her because she felt the same way towards him.

(Max's)

Max woke up and looked over at the other two pokemon who had helped him. He got up quietly careful not to make them stir and walked outside. He walked all the way down to the beach to watch the sun rise. It was beautiful. The sky had a mixture of red, blue, purple, and a little of orange and yellow. While he was sitting there the Pikachu that helped him came up and said "It's pretty huh?"

Max looked behind himself and nodded. The Pikachu sat down next to him and said "Oh I haven't properly introduced myslef yet. My name is Scott and it's a pleasure to meet ya!"

"My name is Max." he replied shyly.

They talked for a little while and reliezed that they were much alike, because they both didn't know about there pasts and just one day woke up and found themselves as pokemon. They talked for a little bit longer.

"So you really don't want to leave this island...huh?" Max asked.

"No. I mean at first I did but when I met Maranda I didn't want to anymore." Scott said.

"Awwwwwww that's sooooo sweet." said Maranda behind them.

Scott looked around and then jumped to his feet. He grabbed hold of Maranda's hand and they walked off together. Max sat there staring at the water trying to figure out wether or not he should just travel to different islands. He got bored and decided to train for a little bit. He found a nice tree and used Ember on it. Embers shot out of his mouth and the tree caught on fire. He used Fire Punch to knock the tree down and pushed it all the way to the ocean. Were the fire was put out.

Thaetus considered the options for a moment, then shrugged.
“Same here. Anything you fancy, or we could just wait for something to land on us.”
Smiling slightly, Mai appeared to think for a second. “OK, I think I’ve got a place.”
She offered her hands to the two Pokemon, then disappeared. Thaetus experienced the usual sensation of dissipating, as well as the purple light, before they appeared a split second later. They were in the middle of a small field-like area, with a small hill to their left and covered with small bushes and trees covered in berries. In some areas, small roots stuck out of the ground that looked rather appetising, though he wasn’t particularly drawn to them. One of them seemed to come from one of the berry trees. Mai waded through the tall grass towards one of the smaller bushes, covered in small blue fruit, then began to eat.
“Tuck in.”
He thought for a second, then randomly wondered over to one of the slightly smaller trees. The berries ware yellow and red, starting thin where they joined but widening out further down. He picked one and tried it. Seconds later, he was coughing and spluttering: the spicy flavour was overwhelming. He thought he saw the other two Pokemon grin slightly, but he moved on. He picked a second berry from a larger tree, this time pink with traces of yellow near the bottom. It starter as roughly spherical, curving as it went down. Picking one of the more curved one, he nibbled it much more cautiously this time. However, the sweet flavour was amazing. He ate it slowly, savouring each mouthful, then picked another one. Then a few more. He liked these ones.

Species Gallade

Name as a human Andrea

Name as a Pokemon The same, Andrea.

Personality Andrea is tremendously timid, so much that a lot of times he seems to disappear if he is even gently questioned or such. He speaks lowly, with the head reclined most of time, without looking at whoever he is talking to. If he is forced in doing so, he will try to escape from it. But wait: this doesn't mean he is a simple coward. He feels really really awkward when in presence of other people, that's true, but there is...something...that pushes him in doing things that a lot of people would consider more like insane than brave: that's a pride, and such an enormous one! You simply have to tickle him...maybe stating that he could not do that...and he will jump through hoops (even a lot of hoops) in order to accomplish it.

It is, as I already stated, truly a great deed to befriend him, but we can't say the same thing on antagonizing him. In fact, he can quickly forget his shyness, after a wrong word or maybe a nasty challenge...and let's simply say this: you don't want to see him enraged. Seriously. Because, on the same principle on which he will try to overcome all the trials he can be set before by anyone, he will ensure his vengeance to be complete, wholly satisfying and the worst possible.

To befriend him, instead, is at least a problematic task. He will flee if you're too aggressive, he will flee if you speak too openly from the beginning...difficult, isn't it?
But there is a way, and a quite logical one, saying the truth: a good, interesting challenge. And then, another one, maybe. After that, you won't be a people anymore, but simply a friend. Now, Andrea will show his true colours: expansive, caring, willing, with a loyalty as big as his shyness, once and forever. It's really, really worthwile.

Shiny? Nope.

History before becoming a Pokemon There is not that much to say about Andrea: born in Italy, he moved to Viridian City at the age of 4. He showed to like pokemon a bit more than humans, especially psychic ones, and quite fell in love with a Ralts his father gave him as a gift; he trained her with care, until she become a beautyful Gardevoir.
Meanwhile he started to get ospitalized quite often due to the "challenges" that he tried to overcome, like crossing Viridian Forest with never touching the ground, hanging upside down from the roof of the Pokemon Center, or even try to enter in the Pokemon League without badges, by climbing the customs building and all the Victory Road. Twice he ended under suspicion, but with no proofs, when boys that heavily wronged them found their bike completely destroyed, or their books in flames; but again, no one saw him, and he left no marks behind him.
At the age of 14, as everyone in Kanto, he died...

This is from another RP I play in. The original is in Italian, and surely it's a lot better ^^
To laugh, to cry, to grin or to sob, every single one of these options was viable in that moment.
To laugh at the naivete of the Little Rin (but with the capital letter, of course! By then I considered it nearly a title, after that outburst at the temple she had earned my respect), to cry because I would have liked to be able to make the same thing, to grin for her confidence in the Legion, to sob because, probably, the thing for someone was not going to end well…
And therefore what to do? It seemed like...nothing. Fejn? Fejn was trashed, I could understand it even through the shroud of sheer terror that wrapped me, and therefore out of the games for some unspecified time lasting between 5 minutes (not so likely) to infinite (even too likely).
I risked strongly to being put away for an equal lapse of time, again, from a mere moment till the Eternity… along with others.

Yet it's strange like, on the moment, I did not ask even the most basic question: and the combat? Which combat, you will say? But the one that attracted me to the construction, obviously! Nevertheless the sight of Juny had been a sponge blow, irrevocable, total and an "Houston, we have a problem" so colossal to remove every other issue.
Making a recap, therefore, the situation was this - reassumed obviously later on, not in that moment, in which I couldn't have done even 2+2.

- Fejn down. If dead or not, it was uncertain, but I could not control. So many things to do, so little time!
- Rin that defied (defied!) the Legion. Ouch.
- The Legion. Do I need to say something else?
- The elf down, knocked out but without serious consequences, as I gambled on the moment.
- I, useful as an adulterated taiwanese bedside table made of marzipan in a not working microwave. And if you are asking what's the use for it, you have understood the essence of the speech.

You will have already noticed, in this small and largely useless outline, the absence of an incognito: Zaky. Where was the child? He had entered with Rin, I didn't see it exit, therefore - strictly speaking - he was still in. As I have already explained, however, I was totally dipped in my small swimming pool of fear, with the intellectual abilities of the above mentioned piece of oriental furniture, and therefore not even this reasoning reached me… on the moment.
Ah, how many things are mourned in the successive years!

But those of which I am speaking now are not "the successive years" , I did not know what would have happened and I was the usual taiwanese bedside table as intellectuality. I could not do anything other than watch Rin demi-challenging Juny, saying her that she did not mean to kill her (!) and even giving back to her the swords!
Ok, at this point, where the courage had already left the battlefield for a lot of time, rose from the ranks a timid fragment of pride, largely male one, partially coming from the age; I approached, the legs a bit less shaking, until I arrived by Rin and I left me fall, sitting.
Then my tongue started to move nearly alone, I did not know to which aim: I would have understood that later on, I thought, and I went on speaking.

Legion. Juny, if I can. Can I say a couple of words, yes? Then…
We begin saying that, since my life is still somewhat beloved to me, it's not my interest to finish it here. Therefore…

I raised a gloved hand, beginning to gesture, dragged from the unexpected speech…

… therefore I don't think I could - or want, if it is for this - try to stop you. Nevertheless, nevertheless, nevertheless… you do not want to kill Rin, you say.
And then? What you want to do, then? We have a issue here, a thorny one, because you could obtain Rin, BUT!

I raised the left arm suddenly, aiming high with the index, moving away a lock from in front of the eyes, that it made me looking an emo. I sweated. I was gambling with the lives, or anyway the freedom, of 5 persons, a undoubtedly high bet, but…
It was worth it. Still today I repeat to me again and again: It was worth it.

But from your speech it seems like this child, to you, is, I don't know if "dear", but at least useful; so, it's in your interests that she remains healthy. But here a little logical jam sets off…

I continued to gesture, or better I increased, the long carmine hair that began to bathe in sweat while I prayed that all worked…

Which is? There are 3 possibilities.
Number one: raised hand, thumb to mark the first answer You take her, we oppose ourselves and you kill us all. The most convenient in terms of time, the worst one if we speak about the consequent psycho-physical condition of Rin: riotous, sad, in short not so tending to obey at you, not apt to be a servant or even a lady in waiting, if you want. It's an option to discard, then, don't you think? But let's pass to option two…

I raised index and middle in order to mark the second answer.

You do not kill to us but you take away Rin. Unstable and tending to end into situation one, with the several cons. You take her, we return to bring her away, sooner or later someone will die, maybe Rin herself. You see again, little available to be used.

Last proposal…

Here, the dropping of the cards. I went all out with a couple of 7, and the only thing that I could hope…it was that Juny did not have in hand not even that one.

…you go away. You leave to Rin the choice of her own road and you don't force her. After all…

I smiled, a smile the least stiff and most like a shark - lawyer-style, in short- possible, task that I think I succeeded in enough well.

… she is subject to the free will, isn't she?

Dark clouds covered the skies above the Dragonite and Magnazone, and before you knew it, rain had started to heavily pour down. Megumi shivered at the coldness of the rain, and a thunder shock startled her once more as it looked like she was trying to cut off circulation to her newly-found tail. At this point, she may have very well been crying, but the rain had made it impossible to tell.

"Did you use to be a human?"

At this statement, Megumi's grip on her tail loosened slightly, and she went silent. Slowly, she looked up at the Magnezone. How had he known? She would have thought that he would call her crazy or something, but no, he was actually believing her! Could it be..?

"Wait, you two as well? Not just me?"

Before Megumi could speak to the Magnezone once again, another, new pokemon spoke up. A Gible, by the looks of it.

"Y-yes!" She stammered "I-I was human... y-you mean both of you were also...?"

Yuu grabbed hold of Mai's hand, and for the first time in his life teleported. It felt odd, like he existed, but at the same time not, however a split-second after it had began, it was over, and they were in a field full of berry-wielding bushes and trees. It looked like more then a feast to him.

"Thank you for your hospitality." He said to the couple of pokemon he was with. True, they didn't exactly own the berry trees and bushes, and it wasn't like they were sharing a limited supply with him, but he most likely would have never found this place on his own.

Watching Thaetus cough on his berry, Yuu couldn't help but grin a little. It was a funny sight, but a thought wandered into his mind, as thoughts tended to do. A fully evolved pokemon should know what berries to eat and which to avoid. Why was it that he had slipped up then? Yuu considered the fact that he just might be human too, but put that in the back of his head. If he was, it didn't really concern him. For now, Yuu kept being a human to himself.

Glancing at a nearby tree, Yuu spied quite a few delicious-looking pink-colored berries. Pecha Berries if he remembered correctly. Picking one and slipping it into his mouth, he was very pleased with its sweet taste. Leaning against the trees trunk, Yuu leaned over to a low hanging branch to pick some more.

Yah, he could get used to this...

Thaetus leaned back against the tree, sighing. That, he thought, was my first meal as a Pokemon, and they’re no complaints from me. He’d always thought that Pokemon were unfortunate that they generally missed out on what people could have, but maybe they had the better deal. He’d eaten much more than he would normally, and he could actually feel the excess energy stored up in his body, ready to be used. He wondered if all Pokemon could do that, or only Fighting types, or maybe only even Gallades. Who knows?
Lazily, he tried to levitate a stone with his eyes open. Succeeding, he sent it flying slowly round in swirling patterns. He glanced up at Mai, dosing in the top of one of the nearby trees. He gazed up at her for a minute, felling a sort of warm glow, then realised he’d dropped his stone and picked it up again. He looked over at Yuu, who was also relaxing against one of the trees. He’d found some berries he liked straight away. They weren’t bad at all, but he preferred his ones. The sun came out from behind a cloud, and he wondered if it was going to rain. Then, he realised he didn’t have any shelter. Mai probably knew where they could rest or take cover, but he didn’t want to disturb her so he addressed Yuu.
“Hey, Yuu. Do you know anywhere we’ll be able to stay?”

Yuu had eaten to his content, licking some of the remaining berry juice off of his lips with a hand on his full stomach. He had eaten more then just Pecha Berries, going on to try several other types. He enjoyed most of them, but ultimately had gone back to Pecha, as he liked their sweet taste the most.

“Hey, Yuu. Do you know anywhere we’ll be able to stay?”

Hearing Thaetus' question, Yuu glanced up at the sky. It was getting pretty cloudy, so shelter would be a good idea. However, he himself had no idea where to find any.

"No, sorry." He responded "Ive only been on my own for a short while. Havn't exactly needed to deal with the weather until now."

September 3rd, 2008, 05:50 AM
Thaetus contemplated this for a moment. They’d need somewhere to take cover from rain and, even if it didn’t rain, they’d need somewhere to sleep. He considered Mai. He didn’t want to disturb her, but this was seeming to become a more pressing matter. He got up and half walked over to her tree, going to float up, but then he remember his telepathy. Sitting back down, he closed his eyes. He could sense Mai and Yuu’s minds in close proximity. He could tell that Yuu was not submerged in his subconscience, but fully in his body. Mai, on the other hand, was. He reached out in his mind, and felt himself coming to rest on the edge of her conscience, enough to speak but no more. It would be wrong to intrude. He felt her groan and drowsily, slightly testily, respond.
“What is it?”
“It’s starting to cloud over, and we’re wondering where we’d be able to take cover and sleep for the night.”
“You can stay round my place. It’s large enough, and there’s plenty of room nearby too. Let me rest, but wake me if it rains. I’ll show you later.”
Gently, he withdrew from the link, then opened his eyes. He felt Yuu’s curious gaze on his neck, so he turned round.
“She says she’ll show us her place later.”
He walked back over to his tree and lay back, pulling up his legs and folding his arms over his chest.
“Weird day,” he muttered to himself.

Yuu nodded to Thaetus' answer, not wishing to wake the Kirlia from her sleep when it was not actually raining yet. Who knew? The clouds may just blow over and the sun would come up and shine again. However, he could handle getting a bit wet, and in the event it did rain, that would mean there would be more mud. Good for him.

“Weird day,” he muttered to himself.

As it turned out, his new Grumpig ears were more sensitive to sound then his old human ones. Overhearing Thaetus talking to himself, he took the oppritunity to strike up a conversation, to pass time. Walking over, he sat himself down next to the Gallade.

"Wierd?" He questioned "How so?"

"Oh, just tonnes of stuff. Definitely out of the ordinary." He was surprised that Yuu had heard him, but with Pokemon having so many different abilities he'd have to be more careful. He was slightly hesitant of mentioning his past. He could easily be marked as mad, and he'd had enough persecution as a human from what he could remember. It wouldn’t hurt not to tell, and it might if he did. You didn’t have to be an Alakazam to work out which would be best at first.
He leant back some more and slipped himself into a gap between two roots. It was amazing how comfortable these things actually were. “Nice place this, isn’t it?” he commented, absent-mindedly. He picked up two pebbles with his mind and sent them whirling around in circles again. This was getting addictive. He could even make a sequence with these things, with some more practice. Aerobics. Pok-aerobics. Ha. He turned his head towards Yuu.
“So, where’d you come from, Yuu?”

At his question, the Dragonite seemed to become less tense, loosened its grip on its tail, and looked up aTyro in amazement. Tyro didn't quite understand her response of silence, he felt quite happy that he had found someone else in his same situation. Well, almost same situation. There was no doubt many differences between them, not the least being that he was a Magnezone and he or she was a Dragonite.

The Dragonite opened her mouth, perhaps to respond. But any reponse was cut off by a cry from someone nearby. "Wait, you two as well? Not just me?"

Tyro shifted one of the two lesserof his three eyes to scan for the source of the voice. It seemed to be a Gible. Now that was intriguing, meeting not one, but two human-mons within a minute of each other? Tyro wasn't a believer in luck, and it would certainly be an interesting concidence.

"Y-yes!" the Dragonite stammered out. "I-I was human... y-you mean both of you were also...?"

Tyro bobbed up and down in the air twice as an affirmative nod. "Yes. At least, I was. What are your names?" he asked, pointing a pair of magnets towards the two Pokemon.

'Well, I call myself Coal now. What are you doing here? I thought this was a dragon island?' he asked. He peered out into the thunder, and thought he could make out the figure of a giant salamence stomping through the undergrowth.

'Dangerous place this.' he thought to himself, turning back to the frightened dragonite.

'Not much of a fully evolved dragon.' he laughed to himself.

The Gible peered out into the darkness, as though looking for something. "Well, I call myself Coal now. What are you doing here? I thought this was a Dragon island?" it said.

"I wasn't aware that only Dragon-type Pokemon were allowed here," Tyro replied. He peered at the Gible. "Nice to meet you, Coal. I assume you are male?" He looked up at the sky with his primary eye. Clouds were gathering, and the sky was growing dark. Thunder rumbled in the distance as lightning flashed between the clouds.

Instinctively, without realizing what he was doing, Tyro raised all of his magnets towards the sky. A bolt of lightning flashed from the heavens and struck him, using his body as a conduit to conduct itself into the ground.

Tyro felt the electrical adreneline flow through his non-existent veins, and he spun around rapidly like a top. "Woooooweeee!" He felt a little light-headed, energized, and powerful. "What was that?"

"I... Im Megumi..." The Dragonite responded to the Magnezone's question. Both he and the Gible had been human? It wasn't just her, and that made her a bit relieved. She wasn't sure exactly why, but it did. She sat back and listened to the two boys conversation, not really thinking of anything to say in the current situation, that is, until a large bolt of lightning rained down and struck Tyro in the (head?) and with him being in such a close proximity to her, she did what any other girl in her position would: Scream, and strangle her tail once more. Once the ordeal had ended, and she realized that she was quite fine, she turned her attention to the well-being of the person whom had been shocked."

"Lightning, by the looks of it..." Megumi replied to Tyro's question, not wanting to get too near the pokemon lest it happen again. "Are... are you sure your ok?"

---------------------------------------------

Avoiding the question... Yuu thought to himself Yup, hes probably human, just dosn't want to admit it.

Yuu wasn't suprised by Thaetus' response. Wanting to hide being human was to be expected. Other pokemon most likely would have thought he was crazy. Yuu wasn't hiding it because he was afraid of being accused a lunatic, no, he honestly didn't care what other people thought of him. He was keeping being human to himself because he didn't wish to dwell on the fact. Honestly, he wished to keep his human life out of this, and establish his new pokemon as smothely as possible. However, then came the dreaded question:

“So, where’d you come from, Yuu?”

Blast! He couldn't just dance around this one, because if he did, it would leave openings for all sorts of others. Yuu concidered himself clever, but he wouldn't be able to keep the entire act together for that long. And so, he concented to revealing his identity. Now that he thought about it, it wasn't that big of a deal..."

"Not from around here, honestly." He said in a calm matter "No, I just woke up like this this morning, a short while before I met you two." Yuu stared through the tree branches which still bore many berries, dispite how they had feasted upon them earlier. "I have to agree with you... This is a very nice place..."

"HAH!" laughed Dusty dominantly. He had never gained full control over flyng, but he did learn how to float on water, with a little help of his new move, Protect. His green ball shaped barrier rolled him across the waves. He was not far from the island he had seen days ago, but he was not close either.

About half way in between the two islands, the water becmae enraged. The waves crashed into ech other, as well as Dusty's barrier. He began to worry. The sky grew dark, the wind became rough, and suddenly, when Dusty thought it couldn't get anymore troublesome, a pokemon rose from the depths. Not just one, but five. Each of whom surrounded Dusty in a wide circle. Once the water cleared off of their bodies, their identity was made. Dusty, had traveled into the breeding ground, of Ghyrados. During the mating season no doubt.

"Great" he muttered.

Tyro twirled around in the air as though drunk, making a sound reminiscent of a police horn. "Oh yeah, never better!" Tyro replied. He stopped waving back and forth and looked Megumi in the eye. "Who would have guessed that being struck by lightning could be so fun? Well, if you're an electric Pokemon, I suppose." He peered at Megumi. "Why are you so timid?" Turning his two lesser eyes to the sky, he added, "Looks like it's going to start raining. We should find some shelter." He turned to Coal. "Know of any caves or anything around here?" A residual spark jumped across the poles of one of his magnets, making a crackling sound.

Kyle’s eyes adjusted slightly as she slowly slid them open. She got a good view of her paw in front of her, but did nothing. She was at a loss of words, and realized now that this was it. Whatever happened to her old life; it was gone. She had something else to deal with now.

Sitting up, she still lay near the river. She made her way to the edges and put her front right paw in, feeling the water. Strangely…it felt good. Really good, and that was only one paw. She looked over it, front and back, marveling. Then she rubbed both paws together and thought to herself, it’s now or never.

She jumped into the river’s current and swam with it. Kyle never thought of herself as a swimming type, not being the immediate first response to a pool party, but now she could not imagine a life without the feel of it. It was exhilarating; amazing.

After awhile, she let herself swim under the current, amazed at how easy it was to keep a steady breath. She swam downstream, and after awhile, tried to use her tails to help her swim more efficiently. It helped in a way.

The current pulled fast. It seemed that her river was quickly turning to rapids. Instead of wanting to escape though, she stayed in the river and continuously pushed herself forward. She looked above water to try and see what was ahead of her from the view up top and saw only wild rapids. She returned down below and swam again, dodging jagged rocks that were in the way.

Then the river reached rapid proportions of extremists. The pressure of the water was getting heavy, and now it felt slightly uncomfortable, but she kept pressing on. Then the rapids ended on a waterfall that she fell over.

Instead of screaming though, she found herself laughing, smiling. She hit the water down below in a dive, uninjured. From there she swam out to the side, slightly out of breath. And it was here where she found herself in the presence of a Poliwag.

“Oh…hello,” Kyle said.

“Hey, you fell from the top of the waterfall,” said the child poliwag.

“Uh…yeah. Is that bad?”

“My mommy said it wasn’t safe to do that. I want to do that!”

Kyle sighed. “Well, your mommy’s probably right. Don’t do it.” Slightly unsure, you decide to ask the Pokemon a question, not even bothered by the fact that you can understand it. “Hey, where am I?”

“Don’t you know?”

“Uh…no.”

“You’re on Aqua Island!”

His answer wasn’t very informative to Kyle. It didn’t even register as any landmark she remembered.

“Do you know what region we are on?”

“What’s that?”

So this would be a lot harder than she thought. The way she saw it, it was either Pokemon called regions different names, or she wasn’t in Kanto anymore. She asked one more question.

“Do you have a place where I can rest?”

'I woke up in a Garchomp cave. We won't be able to go back there. But I think if we head back that way to the cliffs we should be able to find one. A Dratini said most my kind were on another island or something.' he said, turning, and beginning to walk to the forest edge.

The rain pattered down on his crest and he sighed. It was uncomfortable, but with no damp clothes or hair, it was rather odd. He hoped his large fin wouldn't act as a lightning rod, but then realized the magnezone was not only higher up than he, but also a large chumnk of metal.

Thaetus nodded, internally grinning at the answer. Not too unlike what happened to me, though my case was probably a bit more extreme. He considered what he should do next, but at that moment a small raindrop fell on his blade and shortened the debate considerably. The rain began to steadily pour, slowly getting heavier, so he quickly closed his eyes and told Mai. He felt her yawn, then get up. He withdrew quickly. He had no idea what would happen if he connected to somebody teleporting, and he didn't want to find out. Moments later, a small cloud of light formed into Mai, who dropped to the floor. She offered her hands again, and they both took them. Seconds later, they were standing just outside the enterence to a small tocky cave. The enterance was smooth, and looking round he saw severall other entrances nearby of varying sizes. Mai turned round.
"This is my place. You can stay in here or in one of the adjoining caves if you prefer. For now, come in." The three of them walked into a room of polished rock, with rocky seats and table covered in woven leaves, with a couple of entrances going off in several directions. They sat down ("Quite comfy," he thought) and they began to talk.

RP Sample- The sun was shining and everyone in the arena took notice of this beautiful day. It was the perfect day for a battle of this magnitude. Elana stood in the left hall which led to the main arena where she would be fighting. She, along with the three pokemon she had selected, Ambipom, Arcanine, and Absol, stood together, eyes shining bright, ready for this amazing battle.

"Ok...We've made it this far, you three. We just have a little bit to go. We have trained all over the Hoenn regionm, wating for this glorius day. I hope you three are ready, cause theres no going back now. I want you three to know that I love you. We have spent many time together. I picked you three for this match because I know how much you love me too. I always thought that the way to winning more battles was to keeping yourself distant from your pokemon and that would strengthen them. But I was dead wrong. I could never keep myself away from you three. We are a tean and nothing will change that."

The three pokemon were gleaming iwth joy at the profound speech Elana had finished. They ran over to her, tackling her down to the ground, into a large hug. The four of them really loved each other. The audience roared as they awaited the two challengers to appear. As the announcer's microphone blared a screech, the audience grew quite.

"Hello, Battle City fan! I welcome you to the finals!" The audience bagna its roar. "Introducing the man you all know! I man that has won countless battles and lost close to zero. The dragon master from Johto, Lance!" The croud blared as the red-headed champion came walking down the hall, onto his podium, ready for quite the match.

Amy shed a single tear before wiping the drop away and a smile beamed on her face. She pulled out three pokeballs. The red beams of shinging light encompassing the three pokemon. "Lets do this..." Amy walked down the hall out to the shining light of the sun ready for her battle. "It really is a nice day..."

Species- Ponyta

Name as a human- Stacy

Name as a Pokemon- Blaze

Personality- As either a pokemon or human, Stacy is kind toward others though she can have a fiery temper when provoked. Adventurous and very curious she tends to jump into things without thinking, which sometimes gets her into jams. She is often brave to a fault and will only think of running away when the situation seems completely hopeless, which doesn't always mean she will.

Shiny?- no

History before becoming a Pokemon- At 16 years old before she died, she had been trying to get her mom to let her go on a pokemon journey forever. Thinking she was too young and that pokemon were too dangerous, her mother refused, which devastated Stacy. She couldn't stand being denied her life's dream and spent many sleepless nights until she came up with a reckless plan.

Sneaking out of the house the next morning, she went to a nearby pokemon ranch, which had promised to give her a ponyta if her mother agreed. Stacy told the owner that her mother had said that it was alright to have the ponyta and left her hometown with Ponyta at her side. She regretted running away from home but figured that she could always make it up to her family.

She had only got as far as the next town when she began to feel ill. Burning with a fever, she stumbled up to the nearest house, whose occupants rushed her to the hospital. The hospital notified Stacy's mother of her daughter's illness, but shortly before she got to the hospital, Stacy died. The last thing Stacy saw was Ponyta's worried face.

Island- Flame Island

RP Sample- (From another pokemon rpg forum)

On another part of the volcano a young ponyta amused himself by hopping from rock to rock on a river of lava. Tiring of this game, he leaped nimbly leaped to the bank only to land on the tail of a charmeleon which was sheltering itself on the other side of a rock.

With a roar of rage the charmeleon leaped to its feet and glared at the embarrassed pokemon. Fire and smoke poured from its mouth as it prepared to punish its offender

"I'm sorry, friend," the fire horse said, good-naturedly. "Next time I'll be more careful about where I put my hooves.

He winced as the reptilian pokemon refused to back down. He only knew the move tackle and doubted that it would be enough to take down an evolved pokemon, however, it was against his nature to simply run away. The charmeleon inched closer as he frantically tried to figure out how to out of this jam.

Here's my finished character... Heh... it was truly long for me... and um.... where has Abby been? I'm anxious to start... :P

Lloyd also saw his mom's umbreon sitting silently beside her. His mother finally took out the thermometer and read it.

"You're at 98.9 degrees... I guess you're fine. Come on Luna. We're going to make some breakfast." she said as she started walking followed by the umbreon.

"What about you mom?" Lloyd asked but his mom only smiled and went on her way. Lloyd quickly took a good 5 minutes to brush his teeth, wash his face, and dress for school. Luna gave a slight purr as she looked up at her master's face. "He'll survive... He's a strong boy..."

All Lloyd felt was an intense flame burning within him and his eyes were trying hard to focus but they did not respond. A rather plain yet dark land was an intriguing sight to him.

"Ugh.... I'm feeling so drained right now..." Lloyd mumbled as he tried to stand on his four legs.

Rain soon began to drip down upon the two pokemon, and Thaetus decided it would be best to wake Mai and get to the shelter that she had mentioned shortly before. It dawned on him right before they were whisked away that Thaetus did not know how to teleport. This was something he should have been able to catch earlier and seen as odd, seeing as to a fully evolved pokemon, teleporting should be second nature. This guy was human, he was almost positive of it.

Entering Mai's cave, he lightly shook off some of the water that had came to rest on his body near the entrance of the cave, and proceeded inside with his comrades, gazing around the room.

"Nice place." He said. Back when he was a human, his living arrangements were almost always way more extravagant then his current location, but as a pokemon, it felt more then comftertable enough. "How long have the two of you been living here?"

----------------------------

Megumi leaned away from Tyro as he floated up to her, afraid that the giant hunk of metal may be struck by lightning once again, and surely not wanting to be caught up in it. Not to mention, his behavior was creeping her out. She guessed it was the full charge he had just gotten.

"Why are you so timid?"

"T... Timid?" Megumi echoed, fairly suprised at the fairly direct question "I... I don't know... everything is changing... its all happening so fast..." Right around this time she noticed that the Gible was heading off to go find shelter "H-hey! Wait for me!" She called, hopping to her feet and following after, expecting the Magnazone to do the same. She couldn't imagine being alone in the rain, all by herself.

Thaetus tried hard not to blush, and did it well. Inside, however, he was blazing with embarrasment and he didn't quite know why. He tried to sound causal as he replied. "No, we just met today. She's been showing me round." He missed the subtext completely. "I've never staying in a place like this." He wildly thought about for an excuse, and came up with one almost instantly, and one he could easily build off. "I like to sleep in the woods." Perfectly true. He sat there for a little while, just casualy discussing the events of the day. Yearning for a bit of peace, he excused himself and stood up. He got some water from an adjoining room and splashed a bit over his face. He could hear Mai and Yuu talking behind him.
He was about to walk back through to outside when realised that immediatly outside the door was a perfectly flat, smooth area. He hadn't been eager to appear inside a tree earlier, but this should be find. He closed his eyes, swiftly feeling where he wanted to teleport to. He remembered what Mai had shown him, and seconds later was standing a little bit outside the cave, out of view of the entrance. Sighing, he lay down outside looking up at the stars. Eventually, he began to get slightly drowsy. He didn't know exactly how long he'd been out, but at a guess he'd say he'd been out about an hour or two. He picked himself up and turned to walk back into the cave.

"I woke up in a Garchomp cave," Coal said. "We won't be able to go back there. But I think if we head back that way to the cliffs we should be able to find one. A Dratini said most my kind were on another island or something."

That's not exactly reassuring. If most of your kind are on another island, then what are you doing here? Tyro thought. You didn't seem to have come here by yourself, and I know I woke up on an island full of electrics... Random suspicions crossed his mind, but he deleted them as he thought of them. No point getting all paranoid, these may be his only two potential friends on the entire island. Well, at least one of them anyways...

"T... Timid?" Megumi the Dragonite replied. "I... I don't know... everything is changing... its all happening so fast..." The Gible had already wandered off in front of them. "H-hey! Wait for me!"

She was probably a little kid or something...

Around this time Tyro decided that having all this extra charge in his body wasn't doing good things for his personality, and so he began discharging into the ground as he floated along between Coal and Megumi, leaving a trail of blackened grass and soil that had grown over a dozen feet long by the time he finished. There was a LOT of energy in a bolt of lightning.

Yuu nodded as Thaetus excused himself, and assumed a small conversation with Mai. Not about anything particularly notable. As he did, he reflected on the situation he was in. The day before this he had been human. One who was slightly more privelaged then others, but still human. Yet here he was, conversing with another pokemon in a completely normal manner. He was almost certian that Mai hadn't caught on to the fact that he was human, or even a bit different then other pokemon for that matter, and even though he had practically told Thaetus, he got the feeling that he didn't fully understand what he was saying. It all was well and good for him. All that meant was that he was playing his part of the pokemon well, and he gave himself some inner praise for that. It had been quite a while, but Thaetus eventually returned to the group.

"Where did you run off to?" He asked in a casual tone.

"Just a breath of fresh air." He didn't much care if anyone knew that he was a loner, but it wasn't something he would just talk about. As he walked in, he stifled a yawn. It was definitely getting late. He looked at Mai. She seemed to be a bit drowsy, too.
“It’s getting a bit late. Anyone mind if I turn in?” Mai shrugged.
“I’ll show you round.” She stood up and stretched. She walked through a door and he followed. He was lead into a sort of hall, with a few rooms turning off. Thaetus ducked his head slightly and walked into one of the rooms. It was fairly basic, with a slab of rock covered in soft foliage in a corner. A small stream trickled through the corner, and Thaetus wondered if it was natural or had been diverted somehow. Probably the latter. He tried to stifle the next yawn, but only managed to deaden it slightly. He sat down on the slab and stretched.
He heard Mai ask Yuu something about where he’d sleep, then they both said goodnight. When the two walked out, he lay down on the slab. A part of him wondered if when he woke up he’d be human again, but the rest of him told himself that this was real. Whatever the hell had happened, this wasn’t a dream and he’d wake up as a Pokemon. Whatever else, this had been a weird day. He lay back, thinking about his day, about Mai and all the new experiences. He stayed up a little bit, but eventually fell asleep.

"Well, thanks Bulby. I'm gonna go explore this island a little bit, ok?"

"Ok, have fun!"

"Thanks," Abby said, dashing off in some random direction. She just kept running and running; it seemed like she could just keep running and running and never get tired since she was a Raichu. However, she didn't look were she was going, and ran into someone.

"Ugh..."

She looked up at an angry Torterra. I must have just ran into him.

"Oh... uh, sorry... s-s-sir..."

"Sir? I'm not a guy!"

Abby gulped. She would have no chance at battling something this strong. The tried to run away, but the Torterra bit her tail, so she couldn't go anywhere.

“It’s getting a bit late. Anyone mind if I turn in?”

"No, not really." Yuu said, getting up, stretching and yawning himself. "Im quite tired myself."

Today had been quite an odd one, but nonetheless he had enjoyed it more then any other he could remember. The thought brought something to his attention: His memories were fading. There were holes in his memory, spanning from as young as his days in the orphanage to as recent as his days in the hospital, in which he was sure he had woken up this morning remembering. Like much of the things he had experienced today though, he simply shrugged it off. It didn't matter. He had already consented himself to becoming a pokemon, and to him, those human memories were garbage. He had been alone his entire human life, with no real points that came to mind in which he truly enjoyed it.

Yuu wondered, if Thateus truly was human like he suspected, did that mean there were others like him as well? He wondered if he was the only one this calm about the changes going on. After all, the so-called 'normal' reaction to something such as this was fear and anxiety.

"Night." He said to Thaetus as he entered his own room to sleep. Mai guided him to his own room, and after saying good-night to Mai, crawled into his own makeshift bed. Like the mud-bath, and his meal, the bed seemed to feel better then what a human would expect out of it. He assumed pokemon had a better appriciation for the little things in life. After staring at the roof of the cave for quite a while, many thoughts flowing through his head as they normally did, Yuu drifted off to sleep. Today had been interesting. The next day probably would be as well.

-----------------------------

The three pokemon walked along, not much being said as they continued. In the uncomfortable silence, Megumi could hear the squish of their feet as they treaded across the wet ground, the pound of the raindrops on the earth, the sounds of thunder in the distance, and the small sounds of electric discharge Tyro was currently giving off. Still grabbing onto her tail as if it were a stuffed animal, she anxiously looked around. In the rain at the dark of night, this all seemed like some type of horror movie.

Eventually the group arrived at what appeared to be a fairly large cave in the side of a cliff. The inside of it was dark, and Megumi was still very nervous, but pressed on regardless, as they needed to get out of the rain. Entering the mouth of the cave, Megumi smelled something. It wasn't exactly something that smelled bad, it smelled... ominous, if it was possible for something to smell like that. The two others she was with didn't seem to notice, as Tyro lacked a nose, and Gible was still in an early evolutionary state, and his senses most likely wern't at their full development yet. The Dragonite girl convinced herself that she must be paranoid, everything that she had gone through this evening shaking her up quite a bit.

"So..." She said, wanting to break the silence, which just made the cave seem all the creepier "Were going to have to stay here for the night?"

She was a bit immature, despite the fact that she was almost 16, she still refused to watch more mature anime and to stop collecting Pokemon plushies. She also had more innocence than most girls her age, she rarely did anything wrong, except when she was mad and lost control. When she was angry, she was known to get very verbal, even physical with people. She also could get easily upset; just one small mean comment could make her cry.

Shiny?- no

History before becoming a Pokemon- Izzy grew up with an older sister, named Haley. They got on surprisingly well, and when they played with each other, they often forgot that their parents were almost always fighting. However, at the age of 7, Izzy's parents divorced, and she was forced to live with her mom, who she did not get along very well with. This was also when Haley started her Pokemon journey, making her even angrier. She took off on a Pokemon journey the next year, two years too young. She started out with Squirtle. She had been traveling around Kanto, until close to her 16th birthday. This is when her and many others get extremely high fevers. She died the day before her 16th birthday.

Island- Plant Island

RP Sample- Izzy felt something different. She couldn't quite put or finger on what was different, but there was definitely something different. For one, there was no more pain, no more burning fever. This was a relief. She slowly opened her eyes, feeling a slight quake in the ground. Izzy looked around. This place resembled a jungle. The trees seemed huge, and it was like she was on all fours.

She tried to get up on two feet, but feel back down. She ran around in circles, getting more confused by the second. She continued running, this time, in a straight line. She passed by many grass type Pokemon, but not people. This was getting weird. She kept running, and found a Raichu passed out on the ground.

"Hey, are you OK?"

OOC: Wow I got too left behind. I think I'll meet up with Izzy, kk, Abby? Also, this will be one of my lesser posts. *swears I will make better ones once you respond*

IC: I woke up and rose from the bubbling lava, and stepped out. For once, I look across the shining sea from a high point.

Nesting on the horizon was a green island; possibly an island home to some Grass Types.

"It's about time I see some other Pokemon." I said to myself, analyzing the distance and if I would make it.

"If I take off from here, then maybe I can glide high enough on updrafts and gales to make it...." I said, rubbing my chin thoughtfully.

"There is hardly anything here I would miss, so I have no objection to going..." I commented, before unfolding my wings and gliding over the lava and few trees on the island. Before I knew it, I was flying over the glistening sea.

The updrafts were in large quanities as of then, so I was lifted higher into the airs.

I wasn't a single but tired as I neared the island, which was inded full of vegitation.

It was a very large island, the whole thing concealed in a thick layer of foilage. I saw no place to land.

"I'll have to go through the trees if I want to find some Pokemon to befriend." I said irritably. I tilted into a shallow dive, and crashed through the treetops.

I landed hard on the ground, and only to find to my great dismay that there was no one around. I began to slowly walk through the underbrush, being as quiet as I could be. I passed numerous Grass types, who fled at the very sight of my tail. Then I came upon a clearing that looked like it had been Earthquaked to death.

There was a Bayleef asking an unconcious Raichu if it was OK. I entered the clearing, but stood there, waiting. I was unsure of what to do.

"Hello?" I asked.

Izzy looked at the Charizard. It was big and black; obviously a shiny. Abby got up, shook, and noticed the two.

"W-who... are you...?"

"I'm Izzy."

"I'm Vanessa."

"Ok, cool, nice to meet you! I'd love to talk, but I'm tired and achy due to that earthquake... plus, it's getting late. Good night."

Abby looked around for somewhere comfortable to sleep.

She found a rather large hole in a tree. She curled up, and feel asleep after much tossing and turning.

"Oooh my head..." Stacy groaned, her body shifting slightly. When she did this noticed two things: first that was lying on a hard surface and second, and more importantly, that she couldn't feel her fingers at all. Her eyes popping open in shock and dismay, she looked down at her arm stretched out in front of her only to find that it was on fire!!! She swung her other arm around to beat out the fire but stopped before reaching it, confused. Now she isn't an expert on people catching on fire or anything, but she at least figured that at this point she should feel some pain. To her it even felt like the flames were as much a part of her as her legs.

Calmed down slightly, Stacy examined her arm more closely and found out that it was really a yellowish-white leg with a black hoof where her hand should have been. She lept to her feet in surprise, barely aware that she was on all fours, and started pacing frantically, trying to piece everything together. "What am I?" Her mouth fell open in horror when she wasn't able to remember anything. With out thinking she said, "I have hooves now?..... People don't have hooves..... People?...... Humans?..... Was I once human?....." She frowned, thinking harder.

"My name was St-stacy and I had a ponyta named Blaze....can't remember anything else.... Wait." She stopped pacing, remembering what a ponyta looked like. "A ponyta? Could I be a ponyta or rapidash?"

Noticing a pool of water nearby, she ran or rather galloped over to it and looked down at her image. Sure enough, she had a horse-like appearance with a yellowish body, black hooves and eyes, and a mane and tail made of flames. By her small size and absence of a horn, she realized that she was a ponyta, the pre-evolved form of rapidash. She gaped at the reflection, almost thinking that this was all some joke.

Finally aware of her surrounding, she was disturbed to see volcanoes and lava pools around her. "This is crazy," she muttered, shaking her head, "but I guess I need to make the best of it somehow. At least until I figure out where I am and how I got here looking like this." She took off at a gallop to explore the area, feeling strangely pleased and exhilarated at how fast she could run.

((Hello? Anybody still here?))

Yuu slowly opened his eyes, letting out a yawn as he stretched out his body. Something felt odd, as if the body wasn't his. Then he remembered, it wasn't. He was a pokemon now. Hopping off of his bed, he turned to look at his tail, pulling at it once again to watch its spring-like properties, checking once again if it was real.

Yuu took a deep breath in and smiled. He had the feeling today would be another interesting day. Of course, every day would be interesting until he totally got the hang of being a pokemon. Walking past Thateus and Mai's rooms, he saw both of them were still sound asleep. A light blue light poured into the cave from its entrance. It seemed like it was still very early, no wonder they were still sleeping. Ah well, Yuu was awake. No sense in falling back to sleep in his eyes. Instead, he ventured outside to get a jumpstart on his day.

He felt the earth, still moist from last nights rain, beneath his feet, and a calm morning breeze against him. It felt nice. Lifting his snout into the air, he took a few wiffs, making pig-like snorts as he did, and caught a familiar scent as he did.

Pecha Berries. He thought, remembering their fragrance from yesterday. Following his nose, he wandered off to see if he could snag himself some breakfast. He was sure Thateus and Mai wouldn't be too worried about him.

"Well, there are a lot of fire pokemon around here, but if I'm really a Ponyta, why am I here? Aren't Ponyta more suited in a place with lush grass and fields to run in?" Stacy sat down and shook her head in disbelief. "This is crazy.... How could anything like this really be happening?" Many pokemon walked by her staring but she didn't notice them. Finally, a Growlithe walked up and cocked its head at her. "Hey Ponyta. I don't think you should be sitting there. You're right next to a lava pit that belongs to Volk the Magmar and he gets awful grouchy when someone is near his turf." Immediatly standing up and moving away from the lava pit, she followed the Growlithe for several yards. She gaped at his back in disbelief for a few minutes before recomposing herself. I can talk to and understand pokemon? Well, of course I can... I'm a pokemon myself, aren't I?

"Thanks for the warning, friend. What's your name? I'm Blaze." She smiled when she used her old, beloved Ponyta's name. New life new name, I guess...

"I'm Luke but you can call me Lu if you want. You don't seem to be from around here... Where are you from?"

"Nice to meet you Lu. You can say that again. I guess you could say that I'm from somewhere very far away.... What is this place called?"

Lu looked at her curiously but shrugged, obviously deciding not to press her. "This is Flame Island. Nothing but fire pokemon live here. Ponyta like yourself may be fire pokemon, but they usually prefer to live somewhere greener. I like it here though."

Listening to him carefully, she stared at him for minute after he mentioned where they were. Flame Island? I've never heard of a place called that. Still don't really know where I am I guess. Thinking for a minute, she queried, "So does that mean there are other islands? How many?"

Not noticing her shocked look, Lu answered her, "Yeah, there are lots of islands. As many as there are pokemon types. Let's see.... There's Plant Island, Toxic, Flame, Muscle...." He said many more but Blaze (Transition from Stacy to new name) soon lost count. "Come on! I'll show you Plant Island! You can see it from the beach!" Lu took of at a run with Blaze close behind.

Species: Pikachu

Name as a Human: Chris Leotrum

Name as Pokemon: Chris

Personality: As a human, Chris always was the first to go and try something. Usually going to places where others wouldn't. However, he was a little awkward around other people mostly relying on his pokemon for his main source of company. When he was human, his Totodile and Pikachu were always out of their pokeball's. Chris has a really dry sense of humor, sometimes making jokes only reffering to himself. He does get stressed out really easily when it came to losing pokemon battles but when he manages to get rid of that anger, he can be a great tactician. His tactics got him and his pokemon to the top 16 at the Indigo Plateau. He refuses to believe that he died.

History: When Chris was ten he recieved a Totodile from Professor Elm but instead of going to travel though the Johto region like his friends, he traveled to the Kanto region to make his name known there. When he arrived in Viridian, he soon captured his first pokemon, a Pikachu. He then went on to collect all 8 badges and, at the age of 11, came in the top 16 at the Indigo Plateau. When traveling to the Johto region, he was caught in the middle of a pokemon battle and was slammed into the wall by a Blastoise's Hydro Pump.

Island: Static

RP Sample: "Comon comon comon" Chris chanted as he waited in his cabin.
The boat had been stopped in port for hours. Apparently, one of the trainer's Onix broke out of it's pokeball and the crew had spent the last hour trying to put it back in. Chris glanced at the clock, 4:00, only an hour until Professor Oak closed the lab to new trainers and he wouldn't be able to get a Pokémon for another year. "Assuming there are any left..." he mumbled to himself. After a half-hour more of waiting a voice came over the intercom

"This is your captain speaking, sorry for the delay. We will now be de-embarking the ship. Thank you for patience and we hope your enjoy your stay."

Chris quickly grabbed his bag and ran off the ship.

Glancing at his watch he saw that he only had 15 minutes left, and he was still 2 miles away from Pallet Town.

In Pallet Town, Professor Oak was packing up "Well, I guess there are no more trainers for today, guess ill head to Delia's for dinner."

Suddenly someone busted through the door
"Proffesor- Oak- I'm- here- I- made it." stammered Chris

"Hm I was wondering if you would show up, its almost 5. You must be...umm..."

"Koji (see bio)" replied Chris

"Ah yes, Koji, you called on the ship, correct?"

"Yea"

"Alright let’s get you your first Pokémon, shall we?"

"Ok, I though really hard about this, and I'm going to choose Charmander!"

"Umm... remember, you are late..."

"Oh...Yeah... How about Squirtle?"

"Nope"

"Bulbasaur?"

"No"

"Pikachu?"

"Sorry"

"Anything"

"Well...umm"

Suddenly the Phone rang. "Oh, I should get that. Koji, can you wait here?"

"I guess..."

Chris sat down, head between his hands. He couldn't think of what he would do if he couldn't get a Pokémon. He couldn’t go back to Sootopolis and he couldn't stay at Pallet.
He could slightly overhear Professor Oak. Apparently he was talking to someone named 'Elm'.
About 10 minutes later. Professor Oak returned.

"Well Koji, that was Professor Elm, one of the Professors in the Johto region, he has one Pokémon left."

"Really which one?! What type?"

"He sending it over now"

Chris looked at the computer, and saw a light coming from the PC transporter, it shaped into a ball which Professor Oak picked up.

"Koji, meet your new partner, Totodile." With that Professor Oak opened the ball, revealing a Totodile. It looked like any normal Totodile, except for the one green stripe running horizontally across it's snout.

"Well, I guess we're going to be partners Totodile.

"Totodile" it replied jumping onto Chris's backpack. It then proceeded to throw out a few things before getting back onto it.

"Umm...Totodile, we need the map... and my wallet... and the sleeping bag..."

"Ha, looks like it likes you. Professor Elm wanted to look at that green stripe across it's snout, but he thought that you would need it more and that it would be happier with you."

"Yeah..."

"Well Koji, if you want to catch up to the other trainers, you better leave ASAP. Here is your pokedex and 5 pokeballs."

"Alright. Thanks Professor Oak, next time you see me, I’ll be at the Indigo Plateau!"

"Ha ha. They all say that."

"Ready, Totodile? Let’s go!"

"Totodile"

And with that, Chris and Totodile left the Lab, ready to start their adventure.
