Two things came to mind, 1.) A stalker! 2.) One of her friends. But none of them had one of those special stamps you used to close a letter, they always tucked the corner inside, or made their dog lick it.
Kiara tugged on an open spot of the envolope flap, and heard a lud rip as the envolope tore in half.
"Whoopsie daisy," she mumbled to herself as she bent to pick up the pice of paper that had fallen.

Jagnem School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Dear Miss Kiara Lani,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to the Jagnem School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Enclosed are the supplies you will need for the beginning of school. Good luck!

At the bottom was some loopy signature Kiara couldn't make out, and she didn't care about much else.
She was going to a new school!

Jasper was sitting o his couch when the mail showed up. "Jasper wil you get the mail?"
"Ya sure" He yelled picking up the mail that was on the kitchen floor (It had comet though the mail slot)

There was bills some letter for his dad. and... a letter for him. It was starngly specific.

Kiara looked around the shop. She had followed some directions given to her in the letter to this little shop. outside it looked like a normal shop, but inside it was totally weird.
There were all sorts of things she had never seen before. Eye balls floating in glass jars (just about the only thing she recognized since she had seen them on TV some), fangs, samples of animal fur, and countless other things. She walked up to the counter to get help finding all the stuff on her list.
THe man at the counter was a bit scarey looking, luckily Kiara didn't juidge by first impressions. And he talked in this creaky old voice that sounded like a floor that if you stepped on, you would fall right through to the bottom floor.
"Yes? How may I help you?"
"I'm just looking for a couple of things," Kiara said, handing him the list.
"Yes, right this way."
'Yes' seemed to be his favorite word, he said it everytime he found one of her school items on the shelves.
After awhile she had three bags full of unknown objects. She walked up to the counter to pay the man, and she noticed a name plate.

Strange name, strange dude, she thought to herself. "Thank you sir, good-bye!"

"WOW" Jaspoer gasped as he walked inside of the little shop it had gedjets he had never seen before. "Hey i need some weird stuff man!.." He said hoping someone who worked here would hear him.

Jus then someone appeared behind him with a pop. "Hello" The man said. "New student at Jagnew I presume" And by what u've said u have mugglke parents no?"

"um... o my parents are h8uman!!" He said to the man.

"Oh no they don't. And i just curious how did u just appear behainid me?"

"Oh that, i apperated silly!"

Personality: Dark, almost heartless, she thinks quite a bit, but never reveals her emotions. She does tend to see the most impossible things, but she has issues seeing the big picture.

When wlliam returned he had a large bag of supplies. "And how wil you be paying for all this?" He asked Jasper.

"Uh... I don't have any of your money" He said to to the man.

"Oh silly me, you're new to the wizarding world. Don't give it another thought. It's all on the house." Willaim told Jasper

"Kool, Bye" Jasper said as he troted out of the shop and into the aley.

Personality: A joker at heart, he'll stay serious for five minutes at most, then burst out with some sort of wisecrack. Never takes anything (and I do mean ANYTHING) seriously, including homework. Still pretty sharp and earns relatively good grades.

Kiara walked through the crowded alley. She thought this would have been the perfect day for shopping. Apparently, so did everyone else. She found herself saying, "Excuse me, pardon me, look out!, coming through!" a lot. She bumped into a lot of people, all of them doing their school shopping. No doubt all of them also getting ready for a year at Jagnem.

I wandered the alley, having recieved a letter from someone who's name i was incapable of reading. It had been Addressed to me, and the location had been Alaska, in the basement, second chair to the right, surrounded by fossils. And it was weird, because at the time the mail had come, that was exactly where I was. it was no simple task to get here from Alaska, and i hated myself for doing it.

Jasper saw his parents walking around in the alley. They stuck out in the crowd. They were wearing Muggle clothes when everyone else was wearing long flowing robes.

"Hey mom, dad!" He yelled and they walked over toward him.

Finally the crowd cleared up a bit and she could hear a few conversations. A boy was greeting his parents. She sniffed. Her parents would never have come with her. They nearly shoved her out the door, saying things like, "Now you can get a good education," and, "Hope you have fun!" But Kiara knew they didn't mean a word of it.

My parents had dropped me off to shop for school supplies and left. Figured, they were big on self-sufficiency. I breathed deeply as I looked around the alley. This would be the start of my own life, whereer it might lead. I passed by a young boy, about my age talking to his parents. I quickly bit back my laughter (although a small snort still escaped) at the scene and raised my arm in a mocking salute to him.

Kiara looked around. There was nothing for her to do. She could go home, but she didn't really feel like it. Any time away fro her house was time well spent. She could hang out here for a few minutes and meet some people. And get some supper, she was hungry.

I snuck up behind another probable student, a girl this time. After enjoying my time stalking her for a bit I jumped forward to goose her as I let out a brief "BOO!"

Kiara heard a BOO from behind her, jumped and turned around like someone had just shot a gun at her.
When she calmed down she asked the kid, "Who are you?"

Laughing at the reaction of the girl, I sketched a mocking bow and said (still chuckling) "Robbie Smith, milady."

[Master Angel]

Kiara stood there for a second, then nodded and said, "I'm Kiara Lani."

[~Ozy~]

With a bright smile I extended my hand and said "Pleased to meet you, Kiara. Jagnem too, I suppose."

Ki nodded and shook his hand. "Yeah, I was just out getting my stuff. Busy place today, no?"

[~Ozy~]

"'Course." I replied, looking around a bit. I added by means of explanation "It always is around this time of year. I remember when my brother needed to do his shopping..." That was a rather sad tale that I preferred not to get into. I brightened up quickly though and said "You need any help? I know most of the places 'round here, I'd show you around."

I had gotten all the items on the list, incluuding a pet cat. I named it Star, though it was a totally black cat. There was a lot of explaining when I got the letter, and it was then that I found out that i was a wizard. turns out they had quite a bit of currency, more than enough to get me through the year.

Ki saw the boy getting a bit sad when he was about to talk about his brother, but she didn't want to pry.
"Thanks, that would be great! Let's see, I still need a wand and some sort of animal." Ki wondered if that meant she could get a puppy.

Jasper then ranover to his parents "Hey guys how's the alley?" He asked.

"Good... "His dad said.

"Horrible sence of fashion these... wizards." His mother stated.

"Hey you guys I'm gonna shop around were you able to trasfer my money into wizards money yet?" He asked.

"Oh yes!" His father exclamed, bringing out a small leather puch wich appeared to be packed with coins. "I added a little bit of my money to it." His father whispered to him. "Use it well"

He knew exactly what his father meant. His dad was a huge prankster and not quite one to follow the law. Neither was Jasper.

But before he went to buy anything he noticed a girl and a guy talking acroos the street. He decided he needed some friends and then ran over to greet them. "Hello?" He said to the pair.

"Hi" I returned brightly, asking "I'm to show Kiara here around. You want to come with?" He had the look of another prankster so I added in a low tone "There's a great little joke shop along the way if you're interested."

Kiara smiled. "Yeah, it's be great if you joined us! I haven't made many friends yet."

He could tel this guy was a prankster lie himself. He liked that so he decided to join them. "Ya sure lets go!" He then leaned close to the boy "I'm a... muggle *The word finally came to his* pranster, and your a wiziard prankster. I think we could teach each ohter a couple of things." He then winked and began to follow them to wherever they were going.

"I think so" I replied slyly, headed with the general flow of the crowd towards Neely's Wands. I added on quickly "I've heard about this 'lock-picking' thing, can you do that?"

"Ya of course. Its a simple task." Acarty chuckled.

Kiara rolled her eyes. "Well, you two have a lot in common. Pranking? Of all the things."

"Well excuse us for having a little fun, missy" I shot back quickly. Turning back to the boy I said "I have a few tricks of my own to show you if you'll reciprocate." We'd arrived at the wand shop by now and I pushed the door open, leading the way inside.

Kiara just shook her head. She wasn't used to being talked back to, but she had just met these guys. She didn't want to do anything stupid. So she followed them into the wand shop.

As they found their way into the wand shop, Acarty marveled at the size of it. "Wow, what are we gonns do here?" I asked "And why id it so dark, and sort-of evil seemingly."

"Here is where we get a wand" I replied, adding "And these places always seem like this, no one knows why." A middle-aged many with deep brown eyes and hair stepped out of the shadows with a twisted smile on his face. I said "Hello Mr. Nelly, it's been a while." He nodded and took out three tape measures and said "It has indeed. All three looking for a wand I suppose?" I nodded.

I wandered around now, as my parents had left. I saw a trio enter the wand shop, and though I had already stopped by and gotten my wand, nothing could stop me from stalking them. I entered the shop, and waited in a corner, for all the world making it look like i was just taking a break form the light. No one would argue with an Alaskan on that basis.

"So we're gonna get our wands huh?" I asked.
"Yes you are" Mr.Nelly said to me. He then looked directly at me. "ahhh. Mr.Namly... i was wondering when I'd see you Acarty."
"How do you know my name." I asked suspisiosly.
"I know the names of all my future customers." He replied with a small smile.

I took the box Mr. Nelly handed me and carefuly removed the wand. Pointing it at a stack of old newspapers (how harmful could they possibly be?) I recieved quite a shock when the exploded. It was a fairly natural occurance around here though and the situation was quickly rectified.

Kiara took a box of her own and took out the thick wooden stick inside. She inspected it carefully, she'd never held a real wand before. She could almost feel the magical powers inside. She gave the wand a little flick and it went flying from her hand out the window. Obviously that wand had a little too much power for her.

A young boy holding a bag of books walked to a shop. He had black hair and green eyes. He was quite tall. He was ten. The boy was named Allan Tucker, and he was beginning school at Jagnem Magic School.
The books were for his classes. His other class choices were Animagus and Care of Magical Creatures.

"I better hurry up, or else all of the good supplies are going to be taken!" Flannery knew she was going to be one of if not the last one to get her school supplies. Here parents decided to take her the muggle way and take a taxi, which got caught in the traffic. It was a nightmare. "Where did my parents go?" Flannery said to herself? She had lost them in the crowd. "I don't even know where I am suppose to be going!"

I then palmed the box that Mr. Nelly had handed me and pulled out the wand it was short and made of a bright colored wood. I then pointed it at a wall and gave it a flick. I was surprised that when the smoke that had billowed from my wand dissapeared there was a large troll dall sitting in front of the wall which now had a large hole in it. "Was it supposed to do that?"
"NOPE!" He yelled and grabbed the wand from me.
He then walked over to his wand racks and started talking to himself. "That wand was made to do defense against the dark arts but... a troll doll... what does it mean... ahhh" He then grasped another from his shelf. "Here try this!" He told me and handed me the box.

I pulled another box from one of the shelves myself, guided solely by instinct. I removed the wand slowly from the case. The wood felt warm in my hand. I spun it around a few times in my nimble fingers (necessary when dealing in my business) and pointed it straight out. I got an excellent fireworks show for my guess and said quietly (although it still disturbed the quiet of the shop) "That's the one." I slipped it back into its box and waited for Mr. Nelly to finish.

I stayed in 100% silence as I watched the people recieve thier wands. It was weird. I could probably set the place on fire and not get noticed..

After several more wands and several more broken windows, Kiara finally found a wand that suited her. She bought it from Mr. Nelly and waited for Jasper to get his wand.

I'd paid for mine by now and was waaiting by the door with Kiara, waiting for Jasper. After waiting a bit I asked quietly "So, where you from? I'm Coloradan myself..."

Allan went into Mr Nelly's wand shop (I have no idea what he looks like so I'll leave it with the description).
Inside was a man and a couple of kids. Since he looked busy Allan sat down and waited.

"So are you stalking them as well?" I said to the new arrival, referring to the other kids.

"Stalking" Allan asked surprised to the kid. "I can find at least two things wrong with that. One, I only just came here. Two, stalking means to follow and then attack!"

After two more wands I finally found a wand that fited me though Mr. Nelly Gasped when he saw te wand i had chosen. "Oh no.... you... you can't have that one... welll..." He then sighed. "The wand chooses the wizard now doen't it?" WEll that'll be ten 3 sickles please. I then reaced into my bag and pulled out about twelve golden things. "Are these sickles?" I asked.
"NOpe the sickles are the silver ones." He replied.
I then again reached my hand into the bag and pulled out A handfulll of gold ones. "Umm can i just give you sum gold ones insted.?"
"Sure one gold coin will suffice." He replied taking one from my outstretched hand.


OOC: And DE you are always welcome in my RPs, but thats it no more people okay!! If i try to let someone else in someone stop me!!!

"Alright" I said, seeing Jasper finish up. Opening the door and holding it for my two newfound friends I added "Let's get going."

OOC- Now back to the more important part.

IC- Kiara nodded. "Ok, I still need some form of animal. Know any good animal shops?"

"Exactly. and though the attack part hasn't come to mind, following them is exactly what I intend to do." Though personally, I was hoping to find a way to geet accepted into that group.

"Where's the joke shop" I asked immpatiently. "All this shopping is makin me sick. I usually steal everything i want!" I then crossed my arms and tapped my feet.

A man after my own heart I thought, saying aloud "Actually, they're right next to each other." I stepped out of the shop and hung a right, blinking as I stepped into the sun, trying to let my eyes readjust.

Kiara walked into the animal shop. There was purring and hissing and growling and squeaking and chirping and hooting.
One section was for rodents; rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, ect. Another for frogs and toads (Yuck! Kiara thought.) and lizards. The one next to that was for furry animals, like cats and stuff, and then there were bird cages filled with blue birds and robins... and owls!
Kiara ran over to that section, making al the birds flap their wings wildly. Kiara stopped running. "Sorry!" she whispered and tip-toed over to a pretty barn owl next to a window. "Hello," she said.
The owl hooted in response and ruffled its feathers.
Kiara smiled. She'd found her pet.

She walked out of the store a little later carrying her barn owl in his cage and looked around for the others.

I was headed directly towards the joke shop, one of my favorite places on earth. Is was in need of a few new Weasly products and the owner was big on imports. A few dungbombs wouldn't hurt either. Looking back though, I noticed a girl hanging on the fringes of my general path. I shouted to her "well c'mon! I can't get to know 'ya from over there!"

IC: it took me a few moments to figure out that he was talking to me, then I quickened my pace to catch up. I wasn't entierly sure what to say though

"Hi" I said brightly, taking the discomfited look on the girls face in stride. I extended my hand and said "Name's Robbie. You?"

"I'm eclipse" I said, shaking his hand. "I see you're interested in the joke shop. going to play some tricks on somebody?" I asked

Kiara looked around and saw Robbie talking to a new kid. So she walked over.

"Hello, who are you?"

The tyto-alba hooted in his cage. Kiara made a mental note to let him out for a fly that night.

"This is eclipse" i said. I had just been listening to rob and her talk so far but i had managed to figure out her name at least. I then realized we were standing in front of a W.W.W shop. "Ah Weasly's Wizard Weasys. The greatest joke shop of all time!" I said as i ran inside.

"Yep" I replied happily toward Eclipse, glad to have met someone else entirely then darted into the shop after Jasper, immensly happy to be there. Browsing one of the aisles I said to Jasper "You don't know the half of it. The Muggle shops they have are nothing compared to the wizarding version." I started examining a pillow carefully, trying to figure out what it did. I dropped it in shock as it nearly bit my hand off. I smiled at the thought f what I could do given a single night in a girls dorm.

Kiara looked down at her barn owl. His eyes were wide and he was very alert. She also noticed it was getting dark outside.

"I'd better go home," she said to no one in particular. Or maybe to the barn owl.

ooc: sry for not posting earlier, i got in trouble (again) but now im at my dads house, so i can get on the computer. HA! YOU`LL NEVER STOP ME!!!

ic: saphira glanced at the shops on both of her sides. they were all filled with strange and magical items she had never dreamed of. looking at the suplies she was carrying saphira could tell she had every thing, so, with time left over, she headed torward a joke shop.

when she was there saphira could see a group of kids standing outside the store. she brushed past them but stopped. they had the same items she did. obviously they were going to jagnem.

"Yep" I replied happily toward Eclipse, glad to have met someone else entirely then darted into the shop after Jasper, immensly happy to be there. Browsing one of the aisles I said to Jasper "You don't know the half of it. The Muggle shops they have are nothing compared to the wizarding version." I started examining a pillow carefully, trying to figure out what it did. I dropped it in shock as it nearly bit my hand off. I smiled at the thought f what I could do given a single night in a girls dorm.
I had followed, then said "if you're focusing on pranking people, then I have a request." I paused, then said in a sheepish voice "can I help?"

"Of course" I said, happy as a kid in a candy shop. Trying to be thoughtful about the whole deal I asked "Need any help though?" I'd restrained the pillow by now and had it stuffed into a bag to contain it.

"well, you seem like a professional prankster, and I'm just an ametur, so you could teach me a few tricks" I said, watching the pillow incident with slight amusement.

"'Course" I shot back, walking over to a bin of fireworks. Picking one up I said "Your best friend. Handy for a distraction, to freak people out or getting through minor obstacles like a door. Always good to keep around. Best of all" I paused to demonstrate by storing a couple Fireblasters in my pocket. "They're easy to store." After a moment's thought I added "Well, that's just the start, supplies are only the basics. You need fuel" I pulled out my new wand and started walking it along the back of my hands, saying "Which this provides." In a twinkling, the wand was back in my sleeve as I added "And of course, sleight-of-hand never hurts."

Kiara was home and upstairs in her bedroom. She put her owl's cage on her desk and opened the door.

Her owl flew out, straight for the closed window. After banging the glass a couple of times he flew back over to Kiara and starting pecking her on the head.

"Owowowow! Don't DO that!" She walked over to the window and lifted the glass. "There, happy?"

With a snooty hoot her owl flew out the window and out to the stars.

Maybe I should have gotten a homing pidgeon, Kiara thought to herself as she sat down on her bed. I hope he comes back.

I then returned to Eclipse and Robbie with a bag full of my fave joke stuff... with a twist. "Wow! You were right this stuff is way better. The squirting clown watch squeezed my figer when i pushed the suirt button. " I then chuckled, but realized i was inturupting their conversation so i got silent for a moment.

Kiara woke the next morning to a tapping on her window. She opened her eyes and saw her owl rapping the glass with his talons. He had something tied to one of his feet.

Kiara yawned and sat up slowly, so that she wouldn't feel light headed. She walked over to the window and pulled it up. Her owl zoomed into the room and dropped a dead mouse inside his cage. Kiara felt kinda sick, but she walked over and pulled the envlope off his leg.

She opened it up and read something about school starting in a few weeks and they hoped she was ready... yaddy, yaddy, yadda.

She yawned again and went back to bed. She got up for THIS?

IC: "I see. I've managed to prank quite a few people, but when i try anything elaborate i get caught" I muttered thoughtfully.

"Stick with us" I said, nodding to include Jasper "And you'll go far." The effect we somewhat ruined though as the pillow finally managed to get free and started rampaging on the couunter until the wizard working as clerk could get it calmed down again. I continued browsing and picked up a deck of playing cards that could change their values at will, a few new fake wands and some trick foods. I said to the others "Pick up a few things, I'll pay for us."

"I already got my stuff," I said refering to my bag of goods. "And Don't worry abou it I'll cover us Man!" I added pulling out my bag of money.

"Noooo" I shot back jokingly. "I'll cover us," I finished, pulling out my own money.

"Okay If you insist!" I said jokingly returning my money to my pocket. I then shopped around for a few and found a few more things i liked.. if he was paying...

After shopping Allan found he had alot of time. He looked around and saw a joke shop. Being curious he looked inside. There were several kids.

after we looked around for a while i noticed a girl who looked like another Jagnem Student. "Hey" I said as i walked up to her.

IC: Ithen rqn over to the counter where Rob was. "Where are we gonna go next?" I asked grabbing some of his stuff that way he had at least one free hand.

"I really should get home" I said, glancing at my watch before I noticed that night was rapidly falling. After a bit of thought, I said "On the other hand, there's a nice little ice cream shop just down the street. Up for a waffle cone?"

Allan kept looking around the shop. It was full of so many jokes. And a heap of kids as well. Allan didn't want to waste his money so he didn't by anything.

"Hey..." I said to rob. "Why don't we invite him?" I asked refering to the guy who seemed to just be looking at stuff.

"Why not" I returned, grinning. "After all, he doesn't look to be involved with anything else." I looked over towards the kid and shouted "Hey, you! Wanna go down to get some ice cream?"

"Maybe he's a prankster too?" I asked hoping for the best, "After al he is in a joke shop..." I then thought of a threesome of prankster first-years at Jagnem. It made me laugh aloud.

"Uhhh... sure!" Allan said to the kids. He had nothing better to do anyway. Not to mention parents. "The names Allan!"

"I'm Robbie" I shot back happily. Under my breath I said to Jasper "Let's hope so. I've always wanted to rival the Marauders for school mischief."

"You know I can here," Allan said. "There isn't a wall serperating us which is sound proof. And to your unfortunate dismay, I'm not really a prankster. I may play a couple of pranks from time to time though,"

I sighed and nodded my head at this, saying "Pity, that. But what is, is. Anyway, let's get goin'."
