Just like EmeraldSky said, keep your other DS to trade/migrate pokemon. Also what remakes?

Maybe you can migrate pokemon from diamond to the dsi pokemon game (without trading), like with just one dsi...

For everybody complaining about the lack of revers-compatability, there is hope yet. The DSi will be running a DLC service, which could possibly allow for a service similar to the wii's virtual console.

I say we dont need cartridges. I mean if you got a similar vc service coming up gb games would be reasonable answer to where those nintendo points are goin to go to. I mean the ds game of diamond reads game data inside ds gathers pokes in box and boom! You got pokes from your games inside diamonds pal park. But wait if you were to do that wouldnt you need games that are compatible. What if it can read the gb generation games? Could they fit them to be compatible aka putting the strategics of gba and ds generations into em? Nah dont get your hopes up but do be sure well be seeing a game boy vurtial console coming.

Platinum better not be on this new-fangled console.
Then I have to buy a new system. Ugh...

I know exactly how you feel. Just another Nintendo cash grab. Lame, suffice to say... I may end up picking up one of these. Once I no longer require my regular DS, I'll pawn it. At least I have a paying occupation and therefore indisposable income to aleviate this kind of injustice now...

Well they have done about six Pokémon games on the DS, of course they will need a new more developed and enhanced gaming console, be it hand held or not. Times change and money is a requirement sadly.
