yup, thats right. im starting the 1st ever eargon rp!!! for all of u who havent read the book heres whats going on:

eragon and his dragon saphira, must travel around defeating the empires forces which consist of trolls, people, a shade, and galbatrix himself. galbatrix is an evil lord and dragon rider. he killed every other dragon rider and now seeks to get eragon to join him or die. in this quest you may play an elf, drawf, human, dragon, or rider.

note: if your a dragon and dont want to play the rider, you can have a friend do that for you!!!^^

we need some of the main characters first though.

eragon: a strong teen, who is learning magic and growing stronger to defeat galbatrix...

saphira: eragons dragon, mentor, snide-comment maker, and friend.

arya: an elf whose powers are almost unlimited. she strong and beautiful. (p.s. she ends up marring eragon... i think...)

murtagh: a friend of eragons and saphiras. usually helps them out of tight places....^^;

ack! we also need a shade (evil scocerer who manipulates spirts to attack...)

thats it! if ya want to make up your own character, go ahead!

Acarty was standing with Eragon somewhere close to their Dragons, They had been scouting the area when the had found this strangly round clearing. "Eragon? What is it?" Eragon had drifted off for a moment and then came back.

Acarty, Will you some back to us soon? I feel uncomforatable with this Dragon I barely know! The small hatchling called Dracon Telepatically spoke to Acarty.

Yes we will return soon, we are here, he then sent her a picture of the clearing.

suddently saphira stiffened. the sound of footsteps was getting closer...

I looked out over the cliff, staring down at the mountain hideout of the rebels. They were my latest contract, and a good one too. I was well paid whenever my work involved either of the two warring governments. With the mental connection between myself and my dragon, a powerful male by the name of Ingeloakastimizillian (A cookie if you can name the book that name's from) I heard We should get going. I nodded and swung myself up into the saddle at the neck joint just beforw Geloak <OCC>You really think I'll type all that out?<OOC> took off with a single sweep of his powerful wings.

saphira could hear flapping wings. she unfolded her own and rose high into the air, circling around and around.

Geloak tokk a sweep around the bluff before heading into a steep dive off the cliff, thrilling the pair of us. I pulled hard on the reins, evening us out little more than my own height from the ground. I laughed as we had to pull up hard to dodge an old-growth oak. It was shortly after that I first heard the sound of wings and judging by the noise, it was nothing common.

Dragon, close by slipped into my mind and I nodded my assent, having come to the same conclusion. Banking Geloak off towards the dragon, I asked 'Does it have a Rider, you think?"

I pulled back on the reins, but Geloak was so well attuned to my thoughts that the motion was unnecessary. we curved sharply upward, eventually seeing a blue femal dragon. We stopped there, Geloak spreading his massive wings out to the side to keep us in place. I said calmly and formally "Hello, Milady Dragon. How fare you?"

saphira snorted. not because she was trying to be rude, but because the way he asked her how she was doing. uhhh... fine i guess. who are you? she asked trying not to laugh...

"My name's Alvantir" I returned, bowing as best I could rom the saddle. I asked politely "Could you direct me to the rebel headquarters?" I already knew the location of it, but I needed to test the loyalty of such an asset to my contract.

saphira bowed her head. well, saphira said, trying to sound formal, i think you travel north from here for about 67 miles, across the desert.

"We're sure" We're sure I replied, Geloak chiming in at the same time. "We're working here" We're working here.

saphira nodded. she needed some fresh air. so, without a word, saphira flew away into the darkness...

Dracon was surprised when Saphira flew off without a word and even more when he spotted another rider and dragon talking to her. SAPHIRA Dracon screamed with his mind not wanting to be alone. He knew if there was danger he was too small to really protect himself. He then thought aabout contacting the strange dragon that spoke to Saphira So he did. Who are you unknown Dragon He then waited for an awnser.

Ingeloakastimizillian, Geloak replied formally, his white body sweeping down for a surprisingly graceful and silent landing. Just as formally, he continued And who are you, bloodbrother? I hopped down from the saddle, Keeping my weapon concealed up my sleeve, not wanting to alarm anyone just yet.

Acarty then asked Eragon "Are you here with us now?"

"You seemed to be drifting off there for a moment" Acarty replied. Dracon We are coming back Acarty could sence his dragon's mind was on something else since he barly verified that he heard Acarty.

"Let's go!" Eragon Spoke to Acarty as he began to walk toward where Saphira and Dracon were soposed to be.

I chortled inwardly at the silent exchange, although I couldn't "hear" a word of in, the faces said it all. I sad down against a cave wall, thinking I'd go and report in the morning.

As Eagon And Acarty walked into camp Eragon gripped Zar'oc when he noticed there was an unknown human and a ragon laying down at their camp. He stopped Who is this Eragon aksed Saphira Mentally.

Acarty was more trusting of people than Eragon so he didn't grab his weapon, but he did stop and stand on edge. Dracon Acarty said sternly. Who is this and do they mean us harm?

I don't think so Dracon Replied still mentally yet soft.

I instantly noted the tense postures of everyone around. On didn't survive in my line of work through being inattentive. I flicked the chain of my weapon down onto my knuckles, grasping the handle. Outwardly, I put on a pretense of the relaxation I'd felt a moment before.

saphira stood beside eragon. he means us no harm. she said mentally.

I relaxed in truth, noting the tension leave but I didn't let my weapon leave the ready position just yet. Smirking, I said "Can you direct me to some sleeping quarters for Geloak and myself?"

well.... theres some caves not far from here... saphira answered him, pointing one wing in the direction.

I nodded my thanks and strode off in the directon Saphira had indicated, Geloak walking alongside me.

saphira watched him go. something wasnt right...

Geloak said mentally Something is astir tonight, something that shouldn't be. I nedded and kept walking, now even more on my guard.

saphira layed down, her eyes alert and watching. something was going to happen...

The goblin attack was quite sudden. I didn't quite understand how the clumsy creatures had been so silent but I didn't stop to wonder. I flicked the blade out to either side of me, slitting the throats of two of the humanoids. Geloak was equally effective, snapping up several of the foul things in a single bite. I made a third motion, snapping the chain forward and splitting a third goblin from crotch to skull.

saphira could hear something. she flew into the air and scaned the area. spoting _____(AD) she landed beside him.

I was about to take off Saphira's leg with a spinning sweep before I realized who it was. I stopped the swing short and flicked it backwards, burying the blade into the last goblin's lung. Geloak had finished the rest of them.

what happened? she asked, curiously.

Goblins Geloak replied his thoughts tinged with disgust. Well-coordinated ones, too. I flicked the blade back to myself and nodded my assent as I wiped the blood from it.

saphira listened intently. goblin? they`re like the stupidest creatures there are... was her reply.

I know. Geloak thought back. They were definately under the control of someone.

but who...?saphiras voice faded, leaving them in total silence.

Geloak had been keeping me informed of the conversation and I butted in with a sarcastic "Three guesses."

I snorted along with Geloak. I didn't share the same views but I supposed that her loyalty could be respected at least.

Attack him? Was she crazy? o you really think it wise? Do you think we should seek the help of the rebels? Because even with their help i dubt we'd be a fair match for him and all his forces. Eragon thought saphira had gone mad.

Dracon woke up as Acarty's mind nudged his. What is is?

"I believe Saphira And Eragon Are Debateing something. We may have to move so be ready." Acarty whispered. He wondered why he had not spoken mentally, but didn't really fret.

Acarty and Dracon watched in suspence as Eragon appreared to be debating something with his split personality.

"Wold you two hurry it up" Would you two hurry it up!?!?!? Geloak and I shouted at the same time. Sitting here and doing nothing wasn't comfortable for either of us, pure-bred creatures of action.

we`re talking! saphira said o the two. and- an arrow missed saphiras head by inches. happy now? she snarled. we`re under attack! she roared, just because.

Geloak roared back in more a sense of support than challenge, another arrow glancing off his iron-hard scales.

saphira rose into the air, fericly pumping her wings. it seemed as if a thick mist had settled while she and eragon had been talking, so it was near-impossible to see.

finally, she spotted seven trolls lumbrering their way. saphira roared and dove, snapping her wings shut. she reached out with her razor-sharp claws and pick one troll strait off the ground, dropping him at a great distance. the troll landed with a sickening thud. she landed on the ground to face her opponents...

A blast of bone-shattering cold from Geloak's mouth took down another of the foul creatures. I set my kama to work on another of the beasts, slashing him repeatedly as he flailed, trying to stop the whirling chain.

saphira watched the dragon and his rider, impressed. she turned her head and bit down on one, throwing him in the air and watching him helplessly fall. another sickinig thud. [

if only ERAGON would wake up... but he`s not online right now so i guess i`ll have to defeat these foul beast without him...

Eragon heard the call and jumped up "Acarty Come on and bring Dracon Saphira's under attack" Eragon knew by link to her mind exactly where Saphira was.

Acarty jumped at the chance for a fight. He knew he'd win and loved fighting off foul beasts. C9ome on Dracon let's go

Okay don't rush me i just woke up. Dracon then realized what Eragon had said and flew into the air following Acarty who was trailing Eragon.

saphira could see eragon in the distance. finally... he`s ONLINE!!! she thought, trying to blow fire.

after a few tries she managed a small flame an burnt two more trolls.

The troll I'd been working on was now in a variety of small pieces on the ground. Several more were kept frozen in place by Geloak's ice breath. As he eviscerated another troll I snapped the kama out, putting the small blade straight through the eye of another.

geloak!!! LOOK OUT!!! saphira shouted spoting three trolls trying to sneak up on him. she rose into the air and took out one, leaving geloak and __(AD) some fun.

When Eragon and Acarty reached the spot where Saphira was they saw her hoving above and letting The mystery rider and his dragonto do evrything. Hey why let them have all the fun? He hollared with his mind knowing saphira hadn't yet noitced him.
Dracon stay in the shadow's... and please don't attemp to fight any trolls you know you're not strong enough.
Dragon wanted to argue his side of the story, but knew it not wise in a tight spot such as this. Okay was all he said.
Acarty then whipped out his Rapier at the speed of sound and zipped toward one troll with it held high in the air.

ERAGON!!! FINALLY!!! saphira shouted. she attack another troll.

Acarty don't waste your energy swinging that thing make simple spells do great things" Takes a lot less enegry He said to Acarty mentally.

Eragon decided he'd do the same. Saphira link your mind with mine give me strength I"m going to fight with magic.

Dracon link your mind to mine we will create magic force and kill these trlolls without lifting a finger

Gladly He said doing just that. He was super happy he could do Something in this battle.

I won't make that mistake again He said remembering the last time he faught trolls. I'm taking Brom's piece of advice a rock through their heads!

"Ja' Crano Jah'k" Eragon screamed as three nrocks, all of which had been heated to be like coals, rose into the air and zoomed through three troolls head at his command. He kept doing this until only about 6 remain. You take them Acarty
He gave a silent "Okay" and Then screamed "Zarak'z Teh" And his rapier flew through the air and zoomed through all six of their heads. It then flew back toward him "Seized" Said acarty and it stopped in front of him. " Clering'd" And all the blood dripped off it until it was clean He then grabbed it and sheathed it.

Sirii lead a dozen trolls, hidden in bushes, behind boulder and near trees. Sirii sniffed the air, human flesh was nearby, and more then one dragon was with them. Sirii grinned and whisperd "Ra'Neara" a blast of wind was sent towards them, the wind getting stronger and stronger as it got closer and closer.

Eragon Felt a hard cold breeze coming into the area they were standing in Did it just get suddenly really cold? He asked Saphira

"We should go" Acarty told everyone "I have a bad feeling about this place. Keep your weapons at the ready.

Sirii smiled triumphly, he turned around to the dozen trolls who were well hidden and said in an undertone "the rider is right where we want him, engage our plans when I give the signal..." the trolls peeked from their hideing places and grinned at their sucess. Half of the Dozen came out from their hideing places and trailed behind the Riders and their dragons, the wind got colder and stronger makeing some of the trolls slow down, but they kept going, as they reached Eragon and Sapphira the Trolls all came running towards them with axes and large rocks, yelling as they started to attack.

Saphira!!! I yelled as i realized we were being ambushed.

acarty though was prepared and jumped into action. "Die scum!" "Hathan think renthilk" He hollared and a tree behind the trolls fell and crashed upon them.

The trolls all fell easily, some behind them were still half standing-they attemted to throw large rocks, but were too weak to actuely throw them. As Eragon was distracted by this, the other six trolls came marching right behind them, they were all much stronger and held large knifes and were throwing rocks that missed sapphira by and finger's length

As Acarty watched the stumbling trolls. He heard Acrty yell,

"Eragon Behind you!" He noticed 6 trolls that were much larger than the first and held large macheti like knives. "Ja' Crano Jah'k" He hollared using the same strategy as he had with the first beasts. AT that moent six rocks flew from the groud and flew straight threw the trolls heads.

four of the trolls dodged them easily, but the other two were socked in the head and became enraged, they charged at Eragon and Acarty with their blades high in the air, the other four were battleing the dragons, Sirii grinned from the shadows and whisperd "Sercii-neia!" and huge fireballs were sent at Eragon and Acarty.

"They're smarted than I expected" Eragon said aloud and metally.

"Dracon attack from above!" Acarty yelled to his small black dragon.

Dracon then rose high into the air and blew a fireball charing one of the trolls.

"Acarty! Fireball!" Eragon yelled simply as a fireball shot at Acarty. His mind started thinking three hundred mles an hour before he yelled, "Hetye Hettr" And used his mind to throw acarty out of the way.

The firebal then flew into a tree making it become inflamed.

"Lifting me wasn't the greatest idea" Acarty said to Eragon "Though i do thank you, freezing the fireball would have taken a lot less energy and by the look of those trolls you might need it."

Sirii frowned at the three trolls that were burned by the fireballs and the two remaining who were injured by the rocks before. Sirii knew he was no match for two dragons and their riders, so he quickly fled, and on the way he said aloud "we will meet again..." and then abandoned the helpless trolls. One troll gave up and fell to the ground-dead, while the other gave his last might to throw a sharp rock, aimed for Eragon's head.

Eragon saw the rock flying at his head and raised his hand to catch it it pierced his skin and he yelleped in pain. "Ka-ha num" He spaoke and fixed his hand he then threw then rock to the ground.

"did you find the riders?"
"yes, but they're smarter then i thought"
"what?! he's but a mere lad!"
"I know...we need backup"
"alright, i'll send our smartest trolls..."
"NO!! I don't need TRolls, I need more shades (i think that's what they were called 0_o)
Sirii walked off, fallowed by five other SHades, they all held swords and rode on horses, and as they went rain and thunder ripped the clear blue sky

Eragon hoped that was the last he'd see of trolls the were thick-skinned and tough, and he was tired.
He then told Saphira where he was going and starting walking.
Acarty and Dracon followed.

The night sky was lit up by the moon and stars, The 4th shade looked up and grinned "Ahsntee!" he cried, birds screeched in fear from this sudden yell and flew out of theiur homes for saftey. Clouds started to gather, they all gatherd more and more until they coverd the moon's bright light, then, it was pitch dark, "only a Shade or a dragon would be able to see in this darkness, and even the dragon would have diffaculty" the 4th shade explained. The leader grinnd and replied "i'll show you to the riders"

Acarty thought he haeard something approching and stopped. He then realized that he couldn't see anyone around him. Eragon! The blackness. Was all he said.

The Shades moved at a deathly speed, but were so graceful (lol i can't think of any other way to describe it) while running they didn't make a sound "there they are" the third shade whisperd. The five shades peered at the two riders who looked helplessly for the right magic to give them light, while their dragons looked everywhere being Paraniod at this sudden darkness. The second shade grinned "ah, the female dragon is a real beauty" he said-not describeing her looks, but her power. the first shade frowned "their riders are only mere lads, they would never be able to survive us five" "but their dragons would" the third one said. The leader was in deep thought and then smiled "I have a plan that is for sure to work" "Greeta!" screamed the fourth shade, the dragons would hear that spell loud and clear, and so would their riders.

The Shades stopped dead in their tracks, not makeing a sound, they quickly hid behind a tree closest to them
The third shade whisperd "Alumia.." and a black fog slowley oozed out of the palm of his hand. The fog traveledso slowley you could barley tell it was there, it then lowered to the ground where it surrounded Saphira's talons and Eragon's legs, nothing happened for a moment, but then the fog made a mighty force and pulled Sapphira to the ground where she was trapped in the black fog

ooc: Saphira was pulled to the ground with much force. She had no idea what was going on. Then, one word crossed her mind. Shade.

Lifting her head into the air, Saphira let out a booming roar, and tried to spread her wings. The fog seem to give a little, but not much. Saphirs wished she could breath fire at that moment, because after she withdrew her wings the fog grew tighter. If she did that again she would suffocate.

The second shade grinned at the third shade "now to get the boy..." he said
The fourth shade shoved his arms out and a blasting wave of water shot at out Eragon, once hit it imediatly turned to ice, "but what about the other dragon and rider?" the first shade asked
