Okay, I have bought myself another Emerald last week.
Sadly, I saw several glitches in the seemingly Nintendo-sealed Emerald.

First one: I was in the Meteor Falls to challenge the former champion, Steven.
When I talked to him, I surprisingly saw: "Since we battled together in the Sootopolis Space Center." It should be "Mossdeep" right?

Second one: While I was leveling Kyogre to 71, I surprisingly saw the HP value go +11! Is it normal? I checked to see if it was Pokerused by the status was normal.

Third: Battle Frontier time. I was going to the mentor and he said that Battle Dome was the hottest. What baffled me was what he said-"A flying-psychic eon Pokemon(Latias)" it should be DRAGON-PSYCHIC right?

Man, I don't know what to think!
The weird thing was, It looked original!
The game pak was in green!

So, what do ya' guys think of this?

The Latias part sounds wierd, but the Kyogre part was probably just EVs.

I killed a Tentacruel, Tentacruel gives only SP. Def EV's & I know, the Latias part is weird...

Are you saying that from the moment your Kyuber turned to Lv70 you have ONLY battled Tentacruel?

Tentacruels are not even found in the wild right?
So how did you battle them?
I cant remember a single Trainer who has a Tentacruel, only Tentacool

Stupid game errors. Maybe the Latias part was because it could fly? And people thought it was a flying type? Or just a stupid game error.

The Sootopolis is either:
A) Nintendo made a mistake. One small error.
B) They wanted to make Steven look stupid.

The Kyogre is definitely from a whole bunch of EV's. And it's normaly leveling. Look, give a massive amount of EV's to a lvl 99 without EV's and when it hits level 100, it'll get, what? 20 or more in one stat?

And it doesn't "Gain". The game recalculates stats every level up. So, really, it had 11 more HP. That's all.

XD!
Congratulations! You have bought - The Prototype!

naa I do agree thats weird, and with kyogre it was probably just a glitch when it was adding EV's
I wudn't be complaining bout that though!

Mass EV changes between levels can have that effect, yes.
The other day, I used the Berries and Vitamins/EV Training to remove and add EVs respectively, recieving something like this:
Atk: +-17
SAtk: +20

Yes, +-.

Meh, the Latias one doesn't surprise me. Obviously, whoever said that didn't know much about Latias. Clearly, Latias does appear to fly. I mean, if he knew what Latias really was, he would just say the name instead. It's all to make the game realistic. o/

As for the Kyogre story, the HP EVs might be finally kicking in. Or something.

Yes, this is most likely not the final version of Pokémon Emerald Version.
But you're probably lucky, this is a pretty rare one to get.

Err. well maybe it has to do with where you bught the game. Iv'e seen people sell fakes and all. I dont you bought the emerald from the dump, but it could be a factor

Also, the latias part is freakin weird. Glithces. At leat it gives us a laugh. LOLz

The Steven one is in all Emerald games.
"In Pokémon Emerald (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Emerald_Version), when the player (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Player_character) speaks to him in Meteor Falls (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Meteor_Falls) before their battle, he makes an error. He talks of their encounter in the Sootopolis City (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sootopolis_City) Space Center. The Space Center is actually in Mossdeep City (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mossdeep_City), and this dialog may result from the encounter the player has with him in Sootopolis in Ruby and Sapphire."

It's EmY's fancy glitches! xD
LOL the Sootopolis Space Center
latias can fly but for all I know it's Dragon/Psychic type ^^
THERE ARE TENTACRUELS IN THE WILDERNESS <333
I assume the +11 HP is just a glitch. Even a Pokemon with Pkrs would rarely have +11 HP when they LVL up. But I wouldn't complain about that since it's nice and great, I mean +11?! Wow. Just wow... :)

Actually, through EV training I have had jumps over +20, so it isn't a glitch.

nice glitch spotting
and the meteor falls one sounded more like a mistake by nintendo than a glitch

Lol...
BTW, have anyone noticed that Steven is Cross-eyed? (and can't remember what he should say (-_-))

The steven glitch was probably a mistake from game freak. Latias in the game was SAID to be a flying-psychic! Maybe they said it was a psychic type flying in the air. I just think that the latias glitch was meant to be there... The Kyogre glitch was maybe evs gone wrong... The game might of thunk that the special defense evs were hp, so that is definitely a glitch, no doubt.

Tentacruels are pretty rare in the wild so he could have found them at least if he was in the abandoned ship

just check tentacruels location at bulbapedia

i did not know those glitches and you know no one really knew anything about the legendaries and for all they knew latios WAS a physcic flying maye nintendo was just showing the ignorance of those within the pokemon games and the other 2 there is ALOT of programming that goes into those games so they are BOUND to make a mistake so give them a break and besides i don't think emerald was "sealed" since they released it the cloning glitch has ALWAYS been there when you can make copies of pokemon very easily it is not sealed and the cloning in d/p i don't know but i will learn....

Are you saying that from the moment your Kyuber turned to Lv70 you have ONLY battled Tentacruel?
No, I didn't battle any EV giving HP pokemon(Marill & Whismur), when I leveled up, it killed Tenta before it did. (Nice use of Kyuber there...)

Tentacruels are not even found in the wild right?
So how did you battle them?
I cant remember a single Trainer who has a Tentacruel, only Tentacool
Tenatacruel's are found in the Abandoned ship & I think there are three trainers who have Tentacruels on their team (Besides Wallace.)
The Sootopolis is either:
A) Nintendo made a mistake. One small error.
B) They wanted to make Steven look stupid.

It just weird. I tell you, weird, no Pokerus, no mach0 & definitely no HP EV givin' pokemon...

Wow, not a glitch. (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Steven#Trivia)
