Introduction
Hi there, my name is Destined and I present to you my game that I have been working on for a while now, Pokemon Silver Sea. This game is based in the region of Johto which I'm sure many of you are familiar with, but remember, this game is NOT a remake so no saying "Oh great, not another remake." Well that's enough of my ranting so now I present to you, drum roll please, Pokemon Silver Sea.

The Story
You wake up one day in your house in Newbark Town and your Mum calls you downstairs, when you go downstairs she tells you that the Proffessor was looking for you. You head over to his lab to see what he wants, he asks you to run an errand for you in Violet City. To protect you against wild Pokemon on the way he gives you your very own Pokemon(not telling which one)that he lets you keep as a gift.

First stop is Cherrygrove Town, you head over there battling any wild Pokemon that gets in your way. Upon arriving you immediately head to the Pokemon Center to heal your Pokemon before you head off to Violet City via Route 30 and Route 31.

After travelling for what seems like ages of battling trainers and wild Pokemon, you finally arrive at Violet City. You head to the Pokemon Center to meet a Professor who goes by the name of Prof Haste just like Prof Olive asked you to. Prof Haste gives you a package which you are to deliver to Prof Olive immediately.

You head back to Newbark Town but when you arrive in Cherrygrove Town a mysterious character runs right into you, he gets angry and demands a battle with you. You defeat him and he runs off towards Route 30 while shouting “You haven’t seen the last of me, you won’t win next time”.

When you arrive at Newbark Town, the whole town is in an uproar, you quickly head over to the lab to find out what’s going on. To your astonishment, it turns out the Professor has been arrested by the Goldenrod City Police Department.

Just who was that mysterious figure who you met in Cherrygrove Town and why was the professor so unexpectedly arrested? It’s up to you to journey throughout Johto and find the answers to this mystery.

Good news, I have finally finished mapping ALL of Johto. Now I need to map the 2 new towns I have planned and the roads that lead to them then I will have properly finished the first half of the mapping and after that it will be time to script or "Event" everything.

I am currently in the process of making a Trick House, just like the one in R/S/E. Be prepared for anything when you enter the "New" Trick House.

Currently all of the overworlds are temporary, until Red Gyrados finishes the overworlds for me.
(Although I'm using 2 overworld sprites that kyledove made, a Youngster overworld and Camper overworld).

In the Scripting Department
I'm planning on adding extra features to the PokeGear, the PokeGear won't actually be called that anymore, from now on it will go by the name of Poke'Vice. Poke'Vice is short for Pokemon Device.
The following features will be added:

Notepad (Going to be a bit hard to add)
Digital Clock (Scroll further down and you will find an example of the graphics I will use)
Calendar

So far those are the only new features I have planned, more will be added if I can think of any.

In the Progress Department
Sorry for the lack of updates but just because updates are slow, doesn't mean the development of the game is. Mapping is on hold until kyledove makes cave and more indoor tiles and scripting is going a bit slow as I'm pretty new to the world of scripting.

Nice of you to offer but I'm quite happy with the way I'm mapping at the moment.

Anyway, small update.
I revamped the GSC gym badges into DPP format. A few changes were made here and there but they still look like the original gym badges of Johto.

...The Johto badges need a little work, They're not very shiny :S They look like plastic, not metal.

Please don't ask when a beta will come out. The hoping to include all of Johto (1/2 Storyline) in the first beta, don't expect one out before the new year though.
