Brilliant! I've always wanted someone to translate this game so much. Maybe now I can enjoy it as much as I did the original before it stopped working! Great work. No moderators want to post my hack for some reason. There isn't anything inappropriate about it. It is just me restoring beta maps in gold version. Anyways I can't wait to download the final patch!

I hope so too. It would be a shame to see such a magnificent Patch go to waste. I know I'll download it when it is finished. I even have a TCG2 rom already downloaded. (Which was done before I learned about the patch. I can't read Japanese so I got kind of lost in what was going on in the story. The gameplay was pretty fun though. I'm actually surprised this wasn't released outside of Japan giving how the first game sold moderately well. Its a first for a pokemon game to have the same main character be playable twice. What I'm looking forward to some rom hacker to do is create a third TCG game for the GBA or DS. That would be cool. Unfortunately I know nothing about coding rom hacks whatsoever. I mess with the visual aspects of the games as I'm more of an artist.

I like the differences between the first and second. More coins are simply awesome, and I love the colors of the cards =)

On another note, it's looking good. There have already been tons of attemps at a Translation before, but all were abandon before full-completetion. You can still find there patch and play a partial Translation, but a full one would be nice for those who don't understand moonspeak.

God, I love it! I've always wanted to see a TCG sequel, I really like the first game and even still play it on occasion... Pity that there's no way to create a GBA version of TCG, that would be awesome... :(

As I mentioned already I have played it and in fact made two youtube videos of it. Surprisingly no one else on youtube has done that (Or at least from what I could see anyways.) before. I did a video of the introduction. (In japanese text still of course. ) the other was a fight with GR3.

I've played and beaten this game using Jazz's old patch, but it had a couple of bugs I wasn't pleased with. The deck menu would freeze when Bill's Teleporter is selected and the Legendary Four can't be rechallenged, therefore leaving me with only one copy of the legendary cards >_o However this is a very good game and this hack, as I'm playing it now, shows a lot of promise! I hope progress turns out well with this.

He already fixed the Bill's Teleporter glitch before releasing the patch =)

Also, it's the first time I've heard of that Legendary Four glitch - He told me he didn't test it yet, but he'll do it before releasing the final patch

Basically, the translation is going pretty well. He's covered all in-battle text, all emails are translated, etc.

The patch I just downloaded doesnt seem to be updated either. It seems to be the same ol' non-intro-translated patch that has been up for a while. Is the intro translated, all decks translated, etc. version not available for download yet?

Either way keep me posted on the progress :)
