It IS Garbage. You can't get it work, it's either that you're pathectic, or you're so stupid that you want to walk away from reality, by telling lies that reseting Save Types do not work just because you don't even know how to operate it properly!

Guys, don't download this. It's the pretranslated version.

But that's what needs to be done. You can't switch save stypes if you're already into the game with Save STATES. And once you hit the Elite 4, you'll find save states are useless because you will not be able to get past that point.

No, it's just that the people are too lazy to comment, and HG/SS will be even more poplular if...

1. The HG/SS Translation gets finished via Rom Hacking before Nintendo releases their Translated Version and everyone downloads it.

2. Nintendo releasing the Translated Version of HG/SS and many people buy copies of them.

To play this hack you need a clean ruby rom not one off a fansite (pokeplus etc) I cannot tell you where to get a clean one from because its against the rules...

Err... not really. I always get a White Screen but when I restart and changed the Save Type,
the White Screen went poof.

Ruka trust me this isn't the problem. I changed my save type to Flash 128k on VBA. The white screen still comes up when I try to load it. Anyone know the real reason? It would be a great help:D

I figured it out. Pokemon Ruby V.1.0 is the only one that works! 1.2 and 1.1 dont for some reason. Yes you also have to be on 128k save mode, but if your still having trouble google search for a Pokemon Ruby Rom v. 1.0

I figured it out. Pokemon Ruby V.1.0 is the only one that works! 1.2 and 1.1 dont for some reason. Yes you also have to be on 128k save mode, but if your still having trouble google search for a Pokemon Ruby Rom v. 1.0

I tried that...and it worked perfectly, thanks! I have no idea why I didn't think of that before.


Anyway, I played through the hack and was pleasantly surprised. The difficulty and the scripts were great, I didn't think that they could live up to the quality of the graphics, but they did. Good work Wesley, keep it up!

Very nice updates. I like how you changed the spriting style and the graphics, and they're decently done. The only thing that bothers me is the hero sprite; it's too dull and common for my tastes. Its more than just price though, people create These unique things for them to use alone, Using them without permission makes you lazy, the pride of using tiles you create feels much better than using someone else's without their permission. It's about integrity and being able to trust people. Sure, it is the internet, But if you do steal them you lose your integrity and trustworthiness, Along with a heavy load of trouble with the moderators.

Hey guys i need help! I downloaded original pokemon ruby rom and pokemon light platinum english then i used ''ips XP'' to patch ruby,but it didn't work.Ips XP doesn't see original ruby rom after when i select ''all files'' it does but then program makes a file with .BAT extension.
I used tsukuyomi to patch Pokemon Infernal Legend.ups it worked.What should i do to use IPS files for patching original rom files ?!

Search pokemon english US rom on google and try some of those. For me, that immediatly fixed the problem.

Download Lunar IPS

Patch the IPS to the rom

Open up Visual Boy Advance and set it to Flash 128K save mode.

Open the rom with VBA.

Alright I see alot of people having problems running this game on psp emulators (including me).
Ive tried doing everything i can to make it work on my psp.I'm using GPsp emulator and when i start the game it works fine and the intro is pretty good ;), but when i get to the menu i press "NEW GAME",my screen flashes colors, turns black and plays the music when the "professor appears" but the screen is just black the whole time.

I dont know what people are saying about patching,but I do know that its ".gba" and not ".ips" or some other format.

If anyone can just tell me and everyone else how to fix our problem I would really appreciate it.

any1 can tell me y is it i cant play a hacked ruby rom on my vba and gpsp?i can play a original rom but after i patch it and load the rom my vba screen stays white and if i load it on a gpsp it jus crashes my psp.but i can play the real original rom but not after it has patched.however i can play a hacked fire red rom.sum1 any1 pls help me

yeah its the latest and i patched a clean rom but t still doesnt work.and this happens only to ruby hacked games.fire red is working fine.no matter wat hacked ruby gamesi try to patch it doesnt work

Did you try Options --> Emulator --> Save Type --> 128 Flash + Reset?

Try this:

Google search "Pokemon Ruby Rom V.1.0" and download it

Download the latest ips patch of Light Platinum

Download Lunar IPS

Patch the IPS to the rom

Open up Visual Boy Advance and set it to Flash 128K save mode.

Open the rom with VBA.
Try this, I don't know if it'll work, but why not.
