A simple question, yet needs some answers, right?
What is KARMA anyway? ok here is the definition according to Wikipedia...
Karma( कर्म) is the philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. Through the law of karma, the effects of all deeds actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to him/her and others. The results or 'fruits' of actions are called karma-phala. In religions that incorporate reincarnation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reincarnation), karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.

Note: It is up to you if YOU believe or not regarding the (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reincarnation) reincarnation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reincarnation)

So, you want a simple definition, okay...
KARMA- ''what goes around comes around, and what goeas up must come down''

Note: reincarnation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reincarnation) is NOT TRUE.
That's your opinion not fact, don't force your beliefs on us matey. >_>

I don't really believe in Karma, but sometimes when something bad happens to me I wonder. xD

Kind of like how I don't beleive in God, but sometimes still wonder about whether I'm going to hell. :p

Totally ^

At least I have an excuse as to why it happened. Usually I'm like, "Kay, c'mon... why is this happening to me ;_;?", but when a little thought is inserted into the situation, I can usually come up with a good reason for it (Usually a not so favorable act I've recently commited).

Firstly, this isn't a simple question as it's regarding religious beliefs. Therefore, you aren't going to get any answers unless they are opinion-based.

But to answer your question, no. I don't believe in "KARMA". I do, however, believe in events that could occur (though rarely do) that suggest that karma occurs. However, I don't see people who kill innocent people having karma catch up to them. Therefore, I do believe in justice. As justice is what majorly occurs to get someone back. Be it a murderer, kidnapper, school bully, etc. Though, some people may believe that that justice that comes to them is the karma, but that depends on how you look at it and I'm not one to argue about one's beliefs.

Oh, no that Karma.
</durr weeaboo>

Anyway, no, I don't really believe in Karma but I don't really not believe... it's like, one of those things I'd rather not care about.

Note: reincarnation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reincarnation) is NOT TRUE.

Excuse me, you don't know that. It's a belief, and no belief has proof of being true or false. So don't force your belief upon me >__>.

Anyways. yes. I believe in karma. I believe there is the good karma when you do good, you will receive good, and the same for bad. It's a good thought too when people are horrible to you. :3

November 6th, 2008, 9:31 AM
Exactly what I thought. It is not your place to critisize other people's beliefs in this way. If you believe that reincarnation is not true, then please say "I believe that reincarnation is not true". That is potentially offencive, and you shouldn't be trying to force your beliefs.

I'm not sure if I believe in it. I am an Athiest, so all religious topics are kind of iffy for me. I was brought up to believe that science has the answers.

Yeah, I like Karma. It's great with rice....wait, whaddaya mean that's korma?

Seriously, no, I don't believe in karma. There are plenty of people who get away with doing bad things.

November 6th, 2008, 9:52 AM
Nope...I don't believe in Karma at all. I believe that some people mistake Karma for their actions catching up to them. The more bad deeds you commit, the chances of them having a negative impact on your life become greater simply by means of probability. As for a mystical force keeping checks on all the good and bad things people do...I find it hard to believe, but that's just me. I'm a pretty logical guy =P

If you can say it's not true, then I can say: it definitely is true. =]

I totally believe in Karma. I was a big Hindu for awhile. It's such a wonderful religion. Now I'm just an agnostic with certain beliefs.

I don't believe that Karma stuff. I will present myself as a Christian!!

I can't say I believe in the pure definition of karma, but I believe in people getting what's coming to them for sure.

And keep your beliefs to yourself...reincarnation is entirely possible; but it's religious, so let's stay away from that area.

No, I don't believe in karma. I think it's kinda well out there. Just imo.

That pretty much sums up my answer exactly. I know that Karma doesn't exist, its just that sometimes I think about things as if they happened because I did something totally unrelated. I know nothing supernatural is the cause of anything that happens in the world, but it certainly seems that way, or at least my mind tricks me into seeing it that way, sometimes.

Yes, I do in fact believe in karma, because usually whenever I attack someone in an argument, I always get annoyed, or someone attacks me physically.

I too believe in KARMA. I know there are people that get away by doing bad things while honest always suffer. But after death bad goes to hell while good enjoys heaven. Some times you get bad things even after doing something good. But you would surely get some nice if you would be patient.

I believe in karma. I mean, it kinda makes sense in some situations. o___o;
Like, say you told off someone at school, and in the theory of karma, something bad would happen for that misdeed. Well, of course something bad would happen because that person would go out of their way to make your life a living hell, right? So, if you look at some aspects in life, you can always find some form of karma in it. So why wouldn't you believe in it?

November 9th, 2008, 6:47 AM
Yes I believe in Karma! I already experimented it a lot of times :( some of them for good but most of the time for the bad :(

November 9th, 2008, 10:05 PM
Not really. Mostly I think of it is coincidence.

November 10th, 2008, 4:34 AM
I dont believe in Karma in a religous sence but I do believe in it in a nominal sence because I have had the whole what goes around comes around thing happen to me but Im not a huge believer thought so I really cant say, but Its happend to me so I cant really say if I don't believe in it or not Oo

Yep, my friend Cody opened a milk carton and put in ranch then sealed it up so it looked like it never had been opened 3 days later he picked it up, & unknowingly chugged it for us. Needless to say, he went home sick.

In the sense that bad things will ultimately happen to bad people, I believe in karma to a little extent. I believe in the afterlife, and that where you end up after death will depend on your actions and mentality during life. However, I don't think that bad things will necessarily happen to bad people during their lifetimes.

November 10th, 2008, 8:40 PM
I believe in Karma some what, but for mine own sake it would be better if I didn't. This because, if karma is in fact real, mine is pretty bad. Though regardless, I often blame or say most situations are based on karma.

I believe in karma, but not in a religious sense. o good and good things happen to you; do bad, and bad things happen. I just don't believe in 'good' karma and 'bad' karma. I mean what is good for you is bad for another.

I'm Hindu.. So I'm supposed to believe in Karma.. But I dont believe in my religion so meh.

So I guess I dont believe in Karma. :/

But even though I don't believe in it... I still follow it once in a while :/

November 11th, 2008, 12:03 AM
Well, there has to be some law that either is Karma or is like it, I do beleive that what goes around comes around so I'll say yes.

November 11th, 2008, 9:05 PM
I believe in it, in a way... I help people a lot because I know if I need help, someone will remember that. Same for treating people badly.... otherwise... well, yeah, I guess I do, actually.

No, I don't, I think it's real dumb :S It never works on me.

November 14th, 2008, 12:59 PM
I believe in karma, I have 500 on gamefaqs.

November 27th, 2008, 5:29 PM
haha, no. I don't. The other day, I was making fun of this chick (who I ALWAYS make fun of, because she's homely, unkempt, and has liked me since fifth grade...), and she comes up behind me and says she did my homework for me. She actually did, too. Anyway, if karma existed, I'd be dead/in prison by now.

I am not very religous though yes, I do belive in Karma, I belive you do good deeds and good things happen to you though you do bad things and it comes back to bite you. So yes, I do belive in Karma though I'm not very religous.

Hmm...Not necessarily, but the concept does apply to most Religions. So I should.

December 5th, 2008, 5:04 AM
Maybe karma doesn't exist, but people, you all should follow it just for the sake of goodness and morals. You should do good until it becomes a very normal thing to you. You'll see it feels good. For bad things too, you'll see life become a more great place for you if you stop being bad and be good to people. Why make unnecessary enemies when you can make tons of good friends out of those so-called "enemies"?
