This is an anti-war balled dedicated to the hundreds of children who are lost day after day in the African Uganda conflicts.

Invisible Children

A barren death and wasted land
Young life is taken on blood red sand
It’s an uncommon sight to us
Yet we don’t even dare to fuss
Life is normal to us all
We just wanna ignore the call
Yet the problem we see starts to infest
As one hundred children are laid to rest

[chorus]

What a wasteful child
They run in battle wild
Like a soldier willing to die
We give them the gun
Then they have some fun
Then they take off to the sky
They are the invisible children

Adults are so scarce to find
That leaves children up next in line
Sent of to fight the war
A price to pay it all for
The blood on our hands will never wash clean
We refuse to discover the unseen
They enter the battle death follows close by
They raise up their guns and we cry

[chorus]

What a wasteful child
They run in battle wild
Like a soldier willing to die
We give them the gun
Then they have some fun
Then they take off to the sky

The guns are sounding in the day
What other price is ther to pay?
The grave is where they may lay
Night after night day after day

A child hides in the dark
Waiting to hear the angels hark
An X'd back is their mark
A child hides in the dark

I'm so glad to see there are people who pay attention to the wars in Africa, it's way too overlooked.

It's powerful :3 Very true to the situation.
