The Intro: Some of you may know me, some may not. Either way, Tortured_Soul is back from the dead. I left when Platinum was still in it's baby stages, and therefore i'm not so crash hot on the current metagame. To that end, i'm trying to learn...so go easy. (D_A, Anti, Aquilae...)

Aerodactyl@Focus Sash
Jolly
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Taunt
Stealth Rock
Stone Edge
Earthquake

Fastest suicide lead now that D-E was banned to ubers. (Seriously, wtf is with that? The screen lead wasn't broken...really...) Anyway, Taunts and SR's like a champ, and hits hard.

Rotom-H@Leftovers
Timid
252 HP / 70 Def / 188 Spe

Reflect
Overheat
Discharge
Shadow Ball

Lucario and Scizor counter. This is a beast from what i've seen, so i'm looking forward to using it. Discharge > T-bolt for the paralysis support.

Hariyama@Leftovers
Impish
76 HP / 252 Def / 180 SpD
Thick Fat

Force Palm
Ice Punch
Whirlwind
Toxic

Best T-Tar counter in the game. Thick Fat says hi to the omnipresent Heatran, and Ice Punch means I can deal with Skymin decently. (sorta)

http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/dragonite.png
Dragonite@Life Orb
Rash
112 Atk / 200 SpA / 196 Spe

Superpower
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Roost

MixNite for coolness factor. Superpower OHKO's Blissey, blah blah. Outspeeds Jolly Tyranitar, and common Celebi/Zapdos.

Gengar@Choice Scarf
Timid
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Hidden Power Ice
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt

Scarfgar so Salamence doesn't totally destroy me, as well as Azelf for that matter.

- - -
http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/scizor.png
Scizor@Life Orb
Adamant
32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
Technician

Swords Dance
Bullet Punch
X-Scissor
Roost

Well...no need to explain rly. 224 Spe outspeeds max speed Tyranitar. +2 BP 2HKO's Gliscor and Hippowdon. O_o Roost off damage and continue the rampage. Possibly thinking of moving some Atk to HP/Def for the extra bulk.

Why are you using Earthqauke on Scarf Dragonite instead of Superpower. That reason alone makes me wonder why you're using Dragonite over Salamence. It's only saving grace is bulkyness (lol) and Superpower, the latter being incredible crucial and should be used on all sets, unless you want to use it for "coolness factor" which isn't a valid argument since Dragonite is a dork.

Massively weak to opposing Salamence, especially since Rotom can't OHKO it. It outruns Dragonite after a Dragon Dance, and Scizor needs +1 Attack to OHKO it with Bullet Punch factoring in Stealth Rock. Making your Dragonite into a Jolly Scarfmence could work, or you could just, you know, go with the safe option of Scarf Gengar.

Tentacruel's place on this team is blegh, especially Rapid Spin. What does it accomplish? Nothing honestly, as Rapid Spin isn't going to be changing Dragonite's role all that much. Taunt on Aerodactyl is enough to prevent early rocks from getting up.

I'd use Roost on that Scizor, it helps it live longer, and Bullet Punch will safely take out everything after a few Swords Dance (+4 Scizor OHKO's Lucario, 2HKO's Metagross, 2HKO's Bronzong, 2HKO's Zapdos, 2HKO's Gyarados, and still rips a hole into Skarmory)

Overall, another run of the mill Platinum team. Ah well, nothing much you can do about that, eh?

EDIT: Okay, we got some CBLax action going on, not too shabby, but the aforemented Salamence still hurts you massively. DD / Outrage / EQ / Fire Fang can, literally, 6-0 you after a single Dragon Dance. I honestly reccomend you add in a Scarf Gar or something that outspeeds that oversized blue dragon before it snaps your team in half.

To that end, i'm trying to learn...so go easy. (D_A, Anti, Aquilae...)

I guess that means I can insult your Salamence weak team then, huh? >=]

Not much that I can see at the moment, aside from wanting Dragonite to be Mild. That way, it can deal with Skymin rather well. I agree with pretty much everything else that you've done, although I would rather run a bulkier Rotom. Oh and you really want to scout for TTars, as Pursuit takes down 2 of your checks for common threats.

Good to see you posting again in S&M.
