This is my first sprite comic.

Episode 1: The First Day of College (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a251/elec2684/comicstrip1.png)
Episode 2: Trevor's Explanation (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a251/elec2684/comicstrip2.png)
Episode 3: "Student Development?" (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a251/elec2684/comicscript3.png)

Story: Trevor and Raika have known each other since grade school and are now going to college together and will experience various misadventures

Characters:

Raika the Pikachu: Raika is a bit of a hothead and tends to act without thinking. She also seems to be somewhat of a pyro.
Trevor the Grovyle: Trevor is the more laid back of the two and is the one to convince Raika to not do something that seems to be a huge mistake.
Phil the Poochyena: Trevor's roommate. He's a bit wild and spontaneous but not to the degree Raika is.

EDIT: And yes, in Panel 5, the "wasn't that" is supposed to appear twice. She's talking so fast because she's excited.

Also, any ideas for a name for Trevor's roommate (the Poocheyena)?

Interesting story so far. My suggestion for the name is Phil.

You seem to know what you're doing, the plot is a good difference to the normal pokemon mystery dungeon themed type of comics so that's a good thing. I suggest hat the name of the poochyena should be strike.

Hmm intresting. I like it. Anyway the name for poochyena i suggest is bob. Random and spontanious like that roommate should be. Xd reika the pyromaniac pikachu. Sounds like me.

For some reason (maybe to help me flesh out the characters a little bit), I decided to also do a spinoff showing Raika and Trevor as kids. I'll still be doing the other one as well, though.

The Early Years Issue 1 (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a251/elec2684/strip1.png)

The Early Years Issue 2 (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a251/elec2684/strip2.png)

and btw, you'll see Trevor in the 3rd issue

I'd like to say that it's good, but... it isn't.

This is so dull. The jokes, while very slightly amusing, are either predictable and unoriginal... or random and just strange. I find it really boring overall. Issue 3... seems completely pointless. Unless I missed the joke/point. What's with the little comments on the bottom? I don't get it. There's no consistency between each comic. The font, layout, and size changes with each one. The backgrounds are odd, and inconsistent, the pokemon seem either big or small depending on the background. I suggest not using pictures and sticking with sprite backgrounds. The spinoff thing is blurry. You should probably fix that :x and on that subject, it's almost more boring than the original.

It's just... awkward, and has a weird feel to it.

Ouch...well...

Thanks for being honest....I think I'll put this on hiatus right now. Since others at least found the plotline promising I'm not ending it altogether I'm just going to put it on hold until I revamp it. If anybody has any suggestions of what I should do instead in terms of dialogue and design, PM me.

Once again, thanks for the brutal honesty. I needed it ^^;
