What is your favorite Non-rare or Non-event Pokemon?

I would probably have to go with a Pikachu. Those things aren't really hard to find, actually. Just walk around in the Trophy Garden! Not only that, but it can learn Brick Break and Focus Punch to fight off those pesky Rock types :D

Still Sharpedo, if you don't count wild Carvahna near Fortree rare. They're really common, actually; you just need the proper rod. Sharpedo is hot; my fav. <3

They're easily available in Eterna Forest and the Lost Tower every night... and plus my Murkrow was easily the best Pokémon on my original Diamond team.

In Crystal, it's one of my most useful team members, and Hoot-Hoot are everywhere.

i would have say for Shadows of almia staraptor because of the flying and for Diamond infernape because of its awsome speed and special attack.

Wild lv.7 Arbok from G/S/C was one of the coolest things ever =D
But since I'm not a Poison fan, I have to go with Steelix in the Iron Island Cave.
I don't know if they were supposed to be rare, but I always ran into them.
And it has an awesome type, defense, move pool, etc.

Probably Wailmer. I found a large abundance of them down at Mossdeep city, so they should be considered common. I love how it's a small whale that evolves to a giant blue whale, that is easily the biggest pokemon. Another reason why I like it is becuase of it's decent movepool, which, IMO, is better than some other movesets (Again, its my opinion).

That would be Magikarp. It can be found in most all places in the sea. And it's not hard to train and evolve it into Gyarados.
