Lol i've tried doing what the breeder tips say and thats catch the red garidros and breed it with a normal one but it didn't work , and i want to know if i'm doing something wrong -_-; And sue me if this is in the wrong place!! :laugh:

Ah, I see you want a Shiny Magikarp. Unfortunately, you're just going to have to keep breeding. To get a shiny bred is the same chance as catching one (around 1 in 8000) regardless of whether one of the parents is shiny or not

...Unless 2 Red Gyrados were breed, that would increase the chances of it being shiny.

Not in the least. Even if both parents were shiny, the odds of getting another shiny is still the same.

Besides i don't think you can get to Red Gyrados. Theres only the one anyway that i know about. And if you fail to catch him you lose your chance! :P

Well most people save before fighting One Chance Only Pokemon. You have no idea how manys times I turned my game off just to catch Kyogre. But those days are over now that I have my AR...*hugs it*

No but once i was training near the home town and i thought i saw a sniny pokemon, It was a ratata and it shinyed before it went into battle. But then when i looked it was normal. -_-; Besides i couldn't catch it i hadn't got poke'balls with me.

I think you're talking about Gold/Silver/Crystal. in those games if you breed shiny with non shiny you have a higher chance of hatching shiny. but in R/S, shiny is always completely random.

in r/s i bred 2 zubats and i got a green (shiney one)
by luck it was a girl
so i though why not grow it up
my only doubt was when it was apink corobat :'(
