Okay for all of you who have played through, all the pokemon game series until now and hopefully to continue in the future...Have you ever felt bonded or strongly connected to a pokemon? Have you ever smiled just seeing the look on that pokemon's face? If Pokemon was only real, would you risk your life for this pokemon? I know I would...and I know who I have felt a long relationship with ever since my very first pokemon game, Ruby.

And that is my friend.....................BEAUTIFLY, together through the Hoenn, Kanto and Sinnoh games so far I've always had a Beautifly on my team, and I would never replace it with anything else...how about you?

Think really hard before answering, because it can be very important sometimes...

And that is my friend.....................BEAUTIFLY
...never, ever say that in a public place.

Your questions have a certain creep/OCD factor to them, but there are certain pkmn I am more partial to than others, if that's what you mean. I've used a Dustox with the same name (bearing an implicit 'version number') in every run through a third or fourth gen game ('cept FRLG). And they usually have the same movepools unless their natures are awfully-suited for it or my tastes change...

...wow, how odd; I posted about a Dustox while (not noticing that) the guy above me said something about a Beautifly. Sooooooo, what would you do if your precious Wurmple turned into a Cascoon?

Actually, truth is EVERY wurmple I've ever raied it has always evolved into a silcoon...Don't know Why, but not once have I ever had a wurmple evolve into a cascoon...weird huh?

But I'm not insane...

Not that strongly, but a little. I sometimes sort of urge my Pokemon on in particularily hard battles, and yes, I do sort of consider them "friends", but it's not serious enough to stop me from starting a new game when I get bored.

I would have to say, Bulbasur family would be the pokemon I am "bonded" with. Whenever I get a new game, I ALWAYS try and obtain one. ^_^ Bulbasur is the pwnage. =D

No, because I'm not crazy, a mentally challenged 11-year old, or a Pokephile.

But my Slowbro is damn awesome.

Aww! This thread is cute! I used to feel a bit sorry if one of my main party fainted in GSC, but not really anymore. I used to switch out with another one to make sure it didn't faint, but sometimes you can completly lose if you do that so it's better to "sacrifice" them sometimes XD

I think some people took this topic a little too seriously/literally.

Beautifly is freakin adorable.

Anyway, I'd have to say...I dunno...none really during the games, but Piplup in the anime for sure.

Well, one time I was fighting Lance in Gold version, and the only Pokemon I had left was my Meganium...and I took out most of Lances Pokemon with it. And when he sent out his last Dragonite, every time Dragonite would use an attack that should have finished me off, my Meganium would still stand O_o It was strange because I was thinking 'dont faint..daont faint...' the whole time...

Not so sure about risking my life for some pixels, but I'm quite partial to the Pichu/Pikachu/Raichu line. I always have one on my team. If I'm training an electric Pokémon before I get to the point in the game where Pichu or Pikachu are obtainable, I'll drop it from my party when I get one.

Of course, I have to start with a Pichu; so if I have to catch a Pikachu first, I'll breed it until I get a female Pichu and then I have to name it Lightning. I'm very particular about that. :| I assume from now on I'll always require a Cherrim in my team, too...
