pokemon platinum rom help

okay, i just downloaded a pokemon platinum rom and it works fine, except for the fact that i cant open the menu which means i cant save, please help!!

Be sure you're using the right button, it's different between the Advance and DS Pokemon games. You need to use the key for the X button to open the menu for Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, not the one for Start.

If you're using No$, open it up, press F11, and click on the Controls tab. On the right side, the right key should be listed next to Button X.

whoops, i forgot it was the x button, on my actual ds i have it set so i can open the menu with the start key, its all good
