mirc newbie (me) needs big time help

i use mirc 6.16 and i'm trying to connect to a pokemon episode downloading page....basically the "server" where YOU guys get your episodes via MIRC.

yea, i'll need to know how to connect to a channel and all that basic stuff and how to "search for my files"

PS: i know there's a stickie for it, but i really need the help because i got really confused...so please help, thanks

o_o And what's wrong with the sticky? Did you try the links in it, or try searching for this info on Google or something?
