I feel grateful I don't have food allergies (except plums, which are ew to me anyways.) I'm really sorry about your allergies, though, it must stink. I'm actually allergic to animals that shed excessively (long haired cats, certain guinea pigs and the like) Um, let's see...whole wheat bread?

Plums? That's rather unique, actually, what's specifically in plums that does it?

You'd have to be a real nerd to be allergic to mods. XD;

Or your name is Glitter Stain Wait..nvm, she <3's them.

:D For some reason I'm immune to nearly everything! XD I never got the chicken pox and when my friend got it and he gave it to another friend I never got it XD

I've never been to a hospital (for myself) and never used any medical stuff!

You will die in seven days. ^_^

XDD Hm, I don't think I'm allergic to anything except regular pollen. Maybe I should take allergy medicine for it, if there are mild ones..iunno, depends if it's bad come springtime. :P

Well I don't really talk about this since I'm not sure yet I can faintly remember it, but I think I've been hospitalized once when I was around 4...I asked my grandma and I think it was for an unusually high fever, I remember breathing through one of those weird blue "coily" tubes that smelled funny and having nutritional supplements or something injected to me through a little white box taped around my arm...As I said I can't really remember much except playing with a toy truck or something with another patient beside me. =/

Were you a test subject to a top-secret government project or something?

I was hospitalized twice that I can remember: once when I had a severe asthmatic attack in 1998, and another time in 2002. Thankfully my asthma seemed to disappear around the time of my 20th birthday, which was something the doctors were telling me since pre-school. XD

I was also in the hospital once due to a bike accident in 1995. I needed stitches in my left arm and leg, and the keloids are visible in those areas to this very day, heh.

That came out of nowhere. O_o Even though I love Sci-fi (Stargate or Animorphs anyone?) I highly doubt it since it was back in the Philippines and the government there barely has enough money to fend off opposition party attacks. =/

Huge fan of both, I am. *looks to my closet, where I can still see my complete collection of Animorphs books.* :D

They could be spending all their money in these underground projects to create superpowerful humans that could single-handed fend off any opposition. Maybe you were one of their test subjects, and soon your powers will awaken. Yes, that has to be it.

Well that might be good...but with the country sending people away to work overseas and Poverty the centerpiece of political discussion, I highly doubt that the Philippine government would spend money outside of projects that satisfy the electorate, and keeping enough to pocket for themselves. =/

The Philippine Marine Corps can't obtain proper sniper rifles for its soldiers, so its armorers had to modify M16s. The largest surface ship currently in the Philippine Navy is a destroyer escort dating from World War II. The Philippine Air Force was forced to retire its only fighters in 2005. The heaviest armored vehicles in the Philippine Army's inventory are M113 APCs and FV101 Scorpion light tanks.

Vietnam, which has a nominal GDP approximately half that of the Philippines, manages to maintain a significantly larger military. Singapore, which has a nominal GDP slightly larger than that of the Philippines, has perhaps the most advanced military in all of Southeast Asia. Sure, there are other financial and political considerations to take into account, but still. Fortunately, the Vietnamese have neither the means nor the interest to transport its soldiers across the South China Sea in large numbers (the Spratly Islands notwithstanding), and the Singaporeans are ostensibly allies.

I'd never join the army or anything, but just to get the chance to ride in one of those tanks would be an awesome experience. So much fire power...O.O

>_> And the people complain as to why President Arroyo and the Philippine Government kiss up to US President Bush for "Anti-Terror" stuff and money...<_<

Anyways...I will never join the Armed Forces after learning about the Bureaucracy you have to go through for college funds...and I can't handle chains of command and being ordered around like a maid that well after being under my parents. XD

So how was everyones Winter Break?
Mine was fine, but nothing to be excited about...I got money, celebrated the holidays, and still have to do my HW. XP

Lawl, I'd never join the army either. For one thing, I'm gay, so... it's not like I could even if I wanted to! XD Annnd I'm not really that type of person, to be honest. I'd be one of the people to faint from fright and stuff, and just... yeah, I wouldn't be good at all XD;

My winter break is going pretty well (b'')b I start classes again next Monday, but I still have some stuff from last semester to finish up before then. I don't really mind starting back, since it just means I'll have to spend a few hours per day doing school in IE rather then just browsing around the internet all day XD;
