Would a shoutbox be good for the community?I mean, will we have trouble with this or it'll be helpful?I really want to see your answers...

Personally a shoutbox wouldn't be needed at all since we have a chatroom already for instant chatting and a shoutbox would just be really cluttered and there really isn't any where to put it on the site

This post right here (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showpost.php?p=2996821&postcount=5) sums it up.

On top of that, we have visitor messaging. If you want to leave someone a shout out, go do it on their profile.

Chatroom is much better than a shoutbox, they look terrible.
Especially if you were to put it on the main page.
They attract a lot of spamy messages!

It would also slow down the loading times for the main page. A chatroom is superior in every way, aside from the fact that messages do not stay there for users to read later, but hey! That's what the forum and VM system are for. And, yeah. They just look messy.
